The Earth keeps its secrets well, but Time is an even greater custodian. Habit is a young colt whose only real friend outside of his books is another colt named Silver. Silver lives at the bottom of the well.

As days go by under the oblivious eyes of his neglectful parents and he becomes consumed with the dusty literature in the basement, he begins to learn secrets about Silver and his own family. Secrets that bind together the past, the present, and the future.
