Regret is a wound that doesn’t heal properly. It leaves scar tissue. After gaining dubious acceptance from the ponies of Equestria, Tempest Shadow is now trying to reclaim herself. She lives, she works, she tries to be a good friend and a respectable citizen. But she is much more wounded than she has allowed herself to believe. A fleeting dream and a hazardous magical mishap will lead Tempest down a path that will take her to familiar places and the darkest reaches of Equestria. She must learn how to accept friendship into her heart, or succumb to the monster she used to be. Regret is a wound that cuts deep, and redemption might not be the strongest medicine.
