CIVIL WAR

For the past few days in Canterlot High, Anon-A-Miss has spiraled out of control. Making everyone ashamed, targeted, tortured and hateful. There's been an uprising on the hatred towards Sunset Shimmer. She is wrongfully accused of being Anon-A-Miss. Everyone has their side of the story. Some do believe while others don't.

Some of Sunset Shimmer's friends believe that she is innocent. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie believe that Sunset is not the culprit but Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack do. Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom made their point that Sunset could have done all of this which would make perfect sense. However, Snips and Snails made a bold statement proving Sunset Shimmer's innocence, she is too smart to play stupid. Anon-A-Miss did its job dividing the school in half when it came to Sunset Shimmer.

After school, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Sunset Shimmer headed to Sugarcube Corner. They needed to talk things out.

"Thank you Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy for believing me for not being Anon-A-Miss," Sunset said.

"Well when my Pinkie senses are telling me that you are not the one behind Anon-A-Miss, I just knew that you wouldn't do such a thing to us. I just wish that Dashie could see the picture but she along with Applejack and Rarity are blinded by the sins you made in your past which Fluttershy and I already forgave you for. I know you would never cause this much pain after you were reformed."

"Also, it would feel odd that you were all of a sudden evil, good then back to evil again. It just doesn't add up." Fluttershy stated.

"I do have an idea in mind," Sunset said while grabbing her journal out of her bag. "I can contact Twilight and perhaps she can sort things out for us. Rainbow Dash will know better to listen to a friend rather than to blow her off."

"I feel cold girls." Pinkie said as she shudders a lot.

"You know we're in winter so of course, it's going to be cold." Sunset Stated.

"No, not that kind of cold. I have this weird feeling that we may end up fighting for the truth." Pinkie said, still shuddering.

"Well, I hope you are not right. I would hate to fight. I'm not a fighter. I'm a defender but still, I don't want to hurt anybody." Fluttershy said quietly but loud enough for Sunset Shimmer and Pinkie Pie to hear.

"Well if it was to come down to that then we'll be the ones who'll win. I've taken a lot of self-defense class and martial arts class as well. I bet no one has done that in their youth." Sunset stated.

"Rainbow has taken Kung-Fu classes when she was younger." Pinkie stated.

"D'OH!" Sunset said. "Well let's see what Twilight would say or do."

Sunset Shimmer starts to write in her journal. Sending a message to Twilight Sparkle.

Around the same time, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity were thinking about how to get Sunset Shimmer expelled so that way Anon-A-Miss can be stopped before more chaos were to spread.

"I think we should have a school jury. We give out all the evidence necessary for us to win. Maybe Diamond Tiara can help us find a good lawyer. I bet she would love to get back at Sunset Shimmer for ruining her friendship with Silver Spoon." Rarity stated.

"That sounds like a good idea Rarity. What about you Dash?" Applejack questioned.

"I say we should go to war against Sunset Shimmer. We take her down before she corrupts everyone else. She already corrupted Fluttershy and Pinkie into thinking she's innocent. I say we take matters into our own hands. Form a small group to teach her a lesson for messing with us. All of us." Rainbow stated with pride.

"That'll get us nowhere Dash. Be serious. Violence is not the key here." Applejack stated.

"It won't help if we get our asses kicked and I don't look forward to getting my hands dirty with blood, sweat, and tears," Rarity said as she painted her nails.

"Well, what if we were to still lose the court case. What then?" Rainbow asked.

"Then we go with your plan. How does that sound?" Applejack answered.

"Fine then, we'll play by your rules but when we play by my rules, I'll lead us to victory," Dash stated.

Right now the message has been sent to Twilight. Sunset is now waiting for her to respond.

Equestria, Twilight's Castle

Sitting in her castle library, while continuously reading through all the books on the shelves. Princess Twilight Sparkle had been dealing with many things over the past few months after her second visit to the human world.

One time, she and her friends were called by the Cutie Map to solve a friendship problem in a place that was once known as Our Town.

As soon as they got there, Twilight and her friends learned that the town's ponies had their cutie marks and their talents, taken from them by a powerful unicorn mare known as Starlight Glimmer. Soon after, they had their cutie marks taken from her as well.

But in the end, Twilight and her friends had broken free of Starlight's grasp over the townponies and taken back their cutie marks.

As they had completed their friendship problem, Twilight confronted Starlight and asked her why she did this. After she confessed all that is about her life, being abandoned by the ones she once called her friends and feeling alone with no one to turn to.

As she felt sympathy towards the mare, Twilight offered Starlight, something that the unicorn thought she could never deserve: her forgiveness and her friendship.

To everyponies' surprise, Starlight accepted Twilight's offer and over the next few days as the princess' pupil, she learned the magic of friendship and had earned the trusts and companionship from Twilight and her friends.

Even if it was about a few weeks ago, Twilight was still proud of how far Starlight had gotten and what she had accomplished.

As Twilight finished reading her 175th book of today, she later began reading the next one. Until a voice called out to her, "Twilight!". That startled the alicorn, and soon then sigh in relief that source of the voice... only came from her prized pupil, Starlight Glimmer.

"Starlight," Twilight said, "Do not sneak up on me like that!"

The pink unicorn giggled towards the princess' reply. "Sorry, Twilight." Starlight replied.

Twilight trotted towards the mare and the two received hugs from one another. As the two broke their hug, Twilight asked: "So Starlight, what caused you to sneak up on me while I was reading?"

"Well Twilight, It's just... I just got back from baking cakes with Pinkie Pie, and I was wandering around the castle, trying to find my room... again, then I accidentally stumbled upon your room and found...this." Starlight stated. Her horn lit with her magic aura and suddenly an old book appeared between the two ponies.

Twilight recognized the book, it was the journal she used to keep in touch with her friend Sunset Shimmer, in the human world... and to her surprise, the book was glowing telling her that she had just received a message.

Before Starlight could even respond, Twilight quickly snagged the journal from Starlight's magical grasp and then opened up the journal to the new message. And after she read the message, Twilight had a worried and concerned look on her face. Sunset has just messaged her that the "Anon-A-Miss" situation that she heard about, had gotten much worse. And that this mysterious pony, or person to be exact, had successfully divided everyone at CHS, even her friends. Twilight was grateful that Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie's counterparts stood by her side, along with at least a few amounts of students that believe her.

But that didn't change the fact that the other students that think of her as Anon-A-Miss might actually harm Sunset or even worse. This left the purple alicorn with a state of shock.

As the expression on the alicorn's face didn't go unnoticed by Starlight, which didn't know what caused Twilight to act this way. "Uh... Twilight, are you okay?" Starlight questioned.

Hearing her friend's voice instantly brought Twilight's focus off the journal for a second.

"Oh sorry Starlight, it's just... there's something I need to tell you," Twilight said.

Starlight was then left confused. What was Twilight even talking about and what was something she needed to tell her. All these questions formed in Starlight's head, but she didn't know how to ask the princess about it.

Starlight needed to know, so without any further hesitation, she asked: "What is it you want to talk about Twilight... is it about me?"

Twilight was surprised by the question Starlight gave her and then looked directly towards her friend. "What... No, no Starlight, it's not about you, it's just about... something else." Twilight stated.

"Well, what is it?" Starlight asked.

Twilight wasn't sure how to put it and she didn't know how Starlight would respond to the idea of an alternate world that is slightly similar to Equestria, but very different. She couldn't lie to her, even if she wanted to, but Starlight was her friend and she deserves the truth.

"Well Starlight, I'm not sure how to put this, but you see after the day of my ascension, 2 years before I met you..." After that, Twilight continue on telling her story to Starlight about the second time she and her friends visited the Crystal Empire. And during her visit, her crown and Element of Harmony was stolen from her by a unicorn mare named Sunset Shimmer, who was once a student of Princess Celestia before she was. She then told Starlight that she had to follow Sunset to a different world that was almost like Equestria, except it wasn't. Instead, it was a world filled with bipedal creatures called "humans" and about the place she first went to, a high school called 'CHS'.

She told Starlight about how Sunset Shimmer ruled CHS and how much of a bully and a tyrant, she was. Hearing this reminded Starlight of herself back in her days as a tyrant. She also told her about the five human girls that she made friends with, in that world and they were the counterparts of their friends here in Equestria. And how Sunset used her crown, but then later transformed into a "She-Demon" and mind-controlled everyone at CHS. But with the magic of friendship, she and their friend's counterparts defeated Sunset and freed everyone from her control. And in the end, instead of punishing her, she gave Sunset a second chance and tasked her friends to look after her and show her the magic of friendship.

Starlight couldn't believe how similar Sunset Shimmer was before she had friends. It was near identical. The only difference is that Starlight had everypony in control for years and Sunset had everyone in control for a few moments. Time does make a difference but in the end, friendship changed the ways of how they feel and think.

"Starlight, I have to go and take care of this friendship problem but I want you to come with me," Twilight said putting the journal down for a second.

"Really..?" Starlight was a bit surprised that Twilight wants her to come and see the other world. To explore the difference between realities and the similarities.

"Yes. There is no time to waste. We gotta help Sunset conquer this friendship problem before its too late." Twilight stated. "Now if you excuse me for a few moments, I have to write back to Sunset Shimmer letting her know that we are coming to see her."

Twilight used her magic to lift the book up. Put it on the table and use her magic to write her response to Sunset Shimmer letting her know that help is on the way. After a few minutes, Twilight and Starlight galloped into a different section of the library where the portal was at. After a few clicks to turn on the portal, the magic lit up. Twilight and Starlight went through the portal. They are now on their way to see Sunset Shimmer. Hopefully to put an end to Anon-A-Miss before things become chaotic.
