A Sister's Surprising Love

2 months later, the big day every senior at CHS has been waiting for has arrived: Graduation Day. Lightsaber and Sunny are in their gowns, and they meet up in the hallway from walking out of their homeroom class, and walk out to the football field, holding each other's hand. "Feels good now that we're finally out of... how should I say it... "hell?" Lightsaber asked, jokingly.

"Heh, you said it, bro," Sunny replied. They make their way to the field, and sit down in row 3 by Bon Bon, Lyra, and this world's Twilight Sparkle, who had become part of CHS the day after the Friendship Games.

"Maybe after all of this, we'll find ourselves a cool house," Lightsaber said.

"That sounds nice. And we could finally live together as lovers," Sunny replied, grabbing Lightsaber's hand. He then squeezes her hand in response.

"And maybe in the future... we could start a family," Lightsaber replied before he pinched her cheek lightly.

"S-Stop....," Sunny said, blushing. A few minutes passed and one by one, each student walked up to the stage, receiving their diplomas and returned to their seats. Next, Lightsaber and Sunny were up and they proceeded to get up from their chairs and walked up to the stage.

Principal Luna and Vice Principal Celestia handed them their diplomas and shook their hands. "Congratulations, you two, may you triumph in the chapter of your lives," Luna said.

"Thank you," Lightsaber and Sunny replied, then walked off the stages and went back to their seats. After the rest of the students received their diplomas and their blessings from Luna and Celestia and went back to their seats, Luna approached the mic and spoke out her last words.

"To all the seniors of Canterlot High School, Congratulations. We will miss you all dearly and hope that you succeed in whatever you choose to do in the days to follow. Thank you." she said. Mostly all the seniors immediately threw their caps up in the air and cheered with joy and happiness. The long, hard journey through high school was finally over.

Minutes later, a majority of all the seniors make their way into the gym for a graduation party. Inside the gym, Sunny and Lightsaber can really tell that Pinkie pulled off yet another great feat with this year's graduation party. Lightsaber had an outfit similar to Sunny's in terms of color. He was sporting light blue pants, purple shirt, and cream colored vest. Soon, a slow song began to play, and a few couples began to dance in the middle of the gym, Lightsaber and Sunny included. The song slowly started to settle in the mood for the sibling lovers. They gazed into each others eyes, smiling at each other with happiness and passionate love. Sunny began to lean into Lightsaber and sighed softly as she hugged him and he hugged her back.

"You know, Sunny. That lipstick looks sexy on you," Lightsaber replied, keeping his hands on her curvy hips.

"Is that so, handsome?" she asked. Lightsaber nodded. "Then come here and kiss me," she invited seductively. But, right as Lightsaber leans in for the kiss, someone comes up from behind, stabs him in the right thigh, and runs out of the gym. Lightsaber howled in pain and collapsed to his knees. The music stops and everyone is looking in Sunny's and Lightsaber's direction. Some of the graduates were either curious of what happened or concerned for Lightsaber. But no one was more worried or more scared than Sunny was as her brother was now on his knees in pain.

"Lightsaber!" Sunny reacted immediately, and wrapped an arm under his, and helped him up. Elanor ran over to Lightsaber and Sunny as fast as she could to help her injured son. But as they lead Lightsaber over to an empty chair, he goes into a sudden spaz attack, and falls to the floor, then throws up blood.

"Lightsaber!" Elanor said in a panic. "Please, keep it together!" she didn't know what else to say, nor did she know what to do, other than hug Lightsaber. She then helped to position Lightsaber on his back.

"P...Pull.. the.. knife.. out" Sunny immediately grabbed the knife that penetrated his thigh, pulled it out, and gasped at what it really was. It wasn't a knife persay, rather, some sort of crystal that was carved into a knife. Elanor had gathered napkins from the table behind Lightsaber, and held them over the stab wound on his thigh. But then, out of nowhere, Lightsaber's spaz attack stopped, and the veins in his body began to glow a bright blue. "W-What's... happening... to me!" he grunted.

"Lightsaber, please! Whatever you do, please don't die!" Sunny said, holding his hand tight. Lightsaber barely had the strength to hold her hand, as his life began to quickly slip away.

"S-Sunny... M-Mom... h-h-h-help... me..." he struggles to say before he collapsed completely to the ground. His body showed no signs of movement whatsoever. Sunny had never cried so hard in her life as she sit there, holding the hand of her now dead brother. The entire gym fell silent, aside from Sunny's crying.

Sunny then feels a hand gently placed on her shoulder, and she looked to see Ahsoka kneeling down next to her. "I'm so sorry for your loss," Ahsoka said, then pulled Sunny close for a hug, more tears pouring down her cheeks. Elanor was just as heartbroken about losing Lightsaber and moved over to hug her crying daughter. First she lost her husband, now she's lost her son. No words can describe a mother's tears. What happened next, was completely unexpected.

Sunny felt her hand get grabbed by her brother's hand, making her gasp. She looked down and noticed movement coming from her brother's body as well. His lifeless body sprung to life, and his eyes now glowed a dark blue. Elanor, Sunny and Ahsoka backed away out of panic when they noticed him slowly getting back up and were frightened at the horrific transformation Lightsaber now went through. Lightsaber took a few shambling steps forward, letting out brief growls. He stops, and strangely looks down at his hands.

"Wait, what is he doing?" Ahsoka asked.

Sunny slowly walks up to Lightsaber and checked to see if he was okay. "L-Lightsaber?" she asked, reaching out towards him. Lightsaber then let out a moan of sadness. This caught them all by surprise, Sunny mostly. "Lightsaber, what's the matter?" Sunny asked. Lightsaber, unable to speak, just let out another sad moan, turned to face Sunny, and instead made a motion with his hands, like he's writing on paper.

"Are, are you trying to write?" Sunny asked.

Elanor realizes it and reaches into her purse. She takes out her notebook and a pen and gives it to her revived son, "Here, use this," she says.

Lightsaber takes the notebook and pen, and begins to write something. "What happened to me?' he wrote in shaky letters. Sunny is caught by surprise at how Lightsaber can still remember how to write, well, from being dead and all.

"Lightsaber, this hard to say, but..... you're, a zombie," Sunny said, putting a hand on his shoulder. Lightsaber realizes this, and lets out yet another sad moan. Sunny couldn't bare to see her brother look so sad and just went over and gave him a big hug, not even once considering that he might bite her. "Who would do this to you?" Sunny asked.

Lightsaber, feeling his sister hug him, had no intention of biting her, so he gradually wrapped his shaky arms around her, and rested his head on her shoulder. But then, a random smell catches his attention: the very knife that turned him into this. It's.... calling to him. Lightsaber kneeled down and gave the crystal knife a few good sniffs and then got back up. He started to move to where he had picked up the scent. He emitted a low and hostile moan. He then darts out of the gym so fast no one's eyes could keep up with his insane speed.

"Lightsaber, where--" Sunny called out. But it was too late, Lightsaber was already far gone. But Sunny refused to let her brother go, not like this, so she gave chase and ran out of the gym. Sunny found it difficult to keep up with his speed, but it was also easy as he left a trail of blood stained footsteps. She followed his bloody footsteps through several turns, traced them to the back of the school, and followed them into the Canterlot High gardens.

As Sunny slows her pace while she continues to follow the trail of bloody footsteps, she hears a loud animalistic growl, and a slightly muffled scream. Sunny gasped and followed the sound of the scream and her brother's growling. What she soon found nearly made her vomit. Lightsaber was ripping the flesh off the shoulder of someone who had a mask on. Sunny couldn't stand to see Lightsaber doing such a disgusting thing.

"Lightsaber, STOP!" she screamed. Lightsaber instantly looked up at Sunny, and pushed his victim away as he began to cower in fear and regret by a bush. The mysterious person fell to the ground is searing pain. This mysterious person struggled to sit up, but managed, and took off the mask, revealing a girl with light mint green skin, forest green hair, and brown eyes, whose face was stained with tears. Sunny somehow instantly recognized this girl: Wallflower Blush. The girl who asked him out months ago, but was turned down by Lightsaber.

"Lightsaber, what have you done?!" Sunny asked, panicking.

He hastily grabbed the notebook from the right pocket of his vest, along with the pen, and began to write Sunny a message. He gestured for her to take it and read the message. She did, and read the following message, in shaky but readable letters: "I'm so sorry. The scent on that knife drew me to her, and I-I couldn't control myself...." Sunny looked at Lightsaber, then to Wallflower, who had taken off her hoodie and put it over her wound to try and stop the bleeding.

"Wallflower, what happened?" Sunny asked with a hint of anger and concern. Seeing no way out of this, Wallflower decided to speak the truth.

"I... I just wanted... him to... love me... but he chose you! ...So... if I can't... have him... then no one can! But... right at the... last minute.... I realized... I didn't want this! I... I'm sorry!" she grunted. "Please. Just... put me out of my misery...… I deserve it.... for what I did to him...." Sunny, as much as she was hating Wallflower for what she did to Lightsaber, was starting to feel bad for her. Elanor got to her kids in time and was horrified at what she saw.

"No, I won't let you die out here. No one deserves this, even Lightsaber knows you don't deserve this!" Sunny replied, holding Wallflower's hand. "Just stay with us, we'll help you!"

Lightsaber, now wanting to fix what he did wrong, snatched the notebook and began to write another message. He gave it to Sunny, and read: "I think I know of a way to fix this. Just, trust me on this." He shambled over to Wallflower, got on his knees behind her, and gently put his hands on her shoulder, but not to bite her again. He inhaled, and a blue glow formed around his hands. Wallflower yelped in pain, but in just a few seconds, the bite wound on her shoulder sealed up, and the pain subsided.

Sunny was astonished by Lightsaber's new abilities. "L-Lightsaber, what was that?" she asked.

Lightsaber wrote down a response and showed her. "I just, tried something. I can't believe it worked..." The one person there that was the most astonished by this, was Wallflower.

"But... But why? And how?" Wallflower asked. "I don't deserve to be shown mercy."

Lightsaber ripped out another used sheet of paper in the notebook, wrote down another response, and showed Wallflower. She read: "Because everyone, if they prove themselves worthy, deserves a second chance. And you've just proved yourself." Wallflower felt her whole body tremble at the kindness and compassion her crush showed her, despite the lengths she went through to attempt to kill him. She brought her hands to her face and started crying, apologizing for who knows how long until Sunny leaned in and hugged Wallflower.

Lightsaber actually began to smile, and, somehow, spoke. But just one word. "F...Friends.."

Sunny and Wallflower flinched when they heard him speak. "Lightsaber," Wallflower said. Both her and Sunny hugged him tightly, crying over the transformation that might have possibly changed him forever. Elanor, whom was beginning to cry herself, walked over and made it a group hug.

Minutes later, they all make their way back inside the school, and head to the gym. Everyone was concerned for what happened to Lightsaber. But when they notice that he was alright, one by one, the graduates all checked out if he was gonna be okay. Wallflower had gotten something she's wanted for a while now, but never did much about it: Friends. After explaining that everything's fine, the slow dance music started to play again. Sunny took Lightsaber by the hand and slowly took him to the middle of the gym and resumed their slow dance.

The whole time, Sunny never took her eyes away from her transformed brother and gave him the most loving smile, not feeling the least bit disgusted about his appearance. Deep down, underneath his zombie exterior, she still saw her handsome boyfriend. Just then, the spotlights over the gym centered onto her and Lightsaber. Her smile brightened as she and him continued their romantic waltz. She leaned into her brother's chest and hugged him before she leaned up and whispered the three words that brought a smile on his face: "I love you." Sunny reached up and connected her lips with Lightsaber and felt him hug her. She felt safe in her brother's warm embrace and rubbed his cheek gently and passionately. The kiss lasted for a solid minute before she broke away and continued to stare into his eyes as they danced the night away. Small droplets of tears flowed from her tears, but instead of happiness, she cried tears of joy.

In the 4 months following, Lightsaber slowly gained the ability to properly speak. He still stuttered and strayed every now and then, but he's showed improvement. He and Sunny also have gotten jobs to work towards getting their own house. Sunny working at Best Buy as a Help Center associate, and Lightsaber worked there as well, but he watched over the security cameras, making sure nothing is stolen. Ever since they got hired, Lightsaber's keen eyes were a big help as not a single electronic or any other product have ever been stolen. Sunny's kind personality made the customers feel welcome and knew exactly which electronic the customers were looking for. Within the first month of working there, they even received a $5.00 raise and sometimes would be paid in overtime if no one else was available. Sunny would always be tired during overtime, but due to Lightsaber's zombie nature, he never tired.

On a peaceful Friday evening, Lightsaber and Sunny are just getting off work, and are heading to pick up something for dinner. They go through the drive-thru at Burger King, and they each had gotten a Whopper with a small drink and fries. After picking up their dinner, Sunny and Lightsaber chose to eat it at the Canterlot Park. There, the park was filled with beautiful wide-open spaces with a few healthy trees growing strong. In the middle of the park was a stone a bridge that was built over a small river pond where ducks swam freely and the carp fish were swimming along the pond without a care in the world. Most of the people in the park were either spending time with their children and playing with them while young couples were having a picnic, basking in the warmth of the setting sun over the horizon. For Sunny and Lightsaber, they took shelter under the shade of one of the trees close to the bridge.

"So, Lightsaber. Why'd you choose to eat here at the park? I mean, not that I'm complaining," Sunny said, reaching into the bag and pulls out her Whopper burger and fries.

"I... have my reasons, Sunny. Very special.. reasons," he replied, smiling at her, before taking a bite out of his whopper, and then a sip of his soda. They continued to eat in peace for a good 6 minutes, until they only had their sodas left.

"Ah, that was delicious," Sunny said, patting her full belly.

"You said it," Lightsaber said. "Sunny, come with me. There's something.. I need to tell you." He stood up and offered to stand his sister up to her feet. She reached up and felt him lift her up to her feet with ease and then followed him over to the bridge.

"What do you want to talk about, Lightsaber?" she asked. Sunny placed a hand on his shoulder, getting his full attention and then... what he tells her makes her heart skip a beat.

"Sunny, we've had a lot.. of adventures from our childhood up until now. Ever since that day.. when we became so intimate with each other, in a way not even mom could expect, I feel like I can be myself.. when I'm with you. You've even shown me, that even after my hideous transformation, you still believed that, I was still the man you had fallen in love with. I can't thank you enough for loving me," he confesses.

Sunny cried happy tears and rubbed his cheek. "Lightsaber, I... I don't know what to say," she said.

"I only have one question, now that I feel the time is just right," he replied before he got down on one knee and pulled out a small box, where inside, he revealed a beautiful diamond ring. "Sunny, will you.. marry me?"

Sunny gasped and got down on her knees and pressed her lips against his. She pulled away after 10 seconds. "Of course I'll marry you, Lightsaber. Nothing would make me happier than to be your wife," she said. Lightsaber smiled and took the ring out of the small box, and put it on her left ring finger. To seal it, they hug each other like never before. Sunny began to cry tears of joy, and Lightsaber began to feel warm and fuzzy. The inner hunger for flesh deep down inside him began to disappear.

"I'm so happy right now," Sunny said through her tears of joy.

"Me too, Sunny. Me too," Lightsaber replied. He spoke this without a hint of stuttering.

Sunny glanced at her brother and was surprised to see how Lightsaber was now human again. There was still a few small zombie features in his eyes, but she knows her brother is back. She thought that it was probably her accepting to marry him. "Are, are you human again?" Sunny asked.

Lightsaber checked to see if he was. He scanned parts of his body and then... "I think so," he said.

"What about my eyes? Are they still glowing?" he asked.

"No, they're not. But your eyes are still blue, and they look demonic," Sunny replied.

"Oh," Lightsaber said, looking down.

"Hey, don't feel so down, I think you're eyes look pretty cool. And you're still you," she said, hugging him. Lightsaber again smiled, and pulled Sunny in for another kiss of passion. Sunny dove into the kiss deeper and held onto Lightsaber.

Lightsaber breaks the kiss, and reaches down to give Sunny's plump ass a good squeeze. "We'll make this more of a celebration after we get home, and also after we give mom the good news."

"I couldn't agree more... hun," she replied. Lightsaber grabbed her hand, and walked with her back to the car, where he instead hopped into the driver's seat. Sunny gives him the keys, he turns the ignition, and they pull out of the parking lot to head home.

5 minutes pass, and Lightsaber and Sunny pull into the driveway of their house. Lightsaber turns off the car, and they get out, making their way up to the front door. "Let's do this," Lightsaber said, opening the door. Sunny walks in first, and is greeted by Elanor, who then gives Sunny a warm hug. "How was your dinner, you two?" Elanor asked. Elanor looks at Lightsaber, then walks back in surprise at what she was seeing about her son. "Lightsaber, sweetie. You look, better...…" Elanor said, struggling for words.

"He changed back mostly after what he did earlier at the park," Sunny replied, looking straight into Lightsaber's eyes and smiled brightly at him.

"Oh? And what did he do?" Elanor asked.

"Well... the thing is mom... Sunny and I have some great news: Sunny and I are engaged," he said. "We're actually planning on getting married." Sunny then showed Elanor the ring.

"Is this what you both want?" Elanor asked, holding Sunny's hand.

"Yes, mom. Lightsaber's the only man I love. He treats me like a woman and he knows how to make me happy, same as how I make him happy," Sunny replied. Elanor smiled, and pulled Sunny in for another warm hug. Lightsaber wraps his arms around Sunny and their mother as he too smiles.

"I only wish your father was here to see this," Elanor said.

"Me too," Lightsaber replied.

They're still wrapped in each other's warm embrace when the front door begins to open. Ahsoka comes in, shuts the door, and takes off her boots. "Ugh, what a day," she said, visibly tired as she rubbed her eyes. Ahsoka had also gotten a job as a mover in a local moving company, so she was gone most of the day at times.

"Ahsoka, Lightsaber and Sunny have news for you," Elanor said as she turned to walk into the kitchen for something.

Ahsoka stood in place as both Lightsaber and Sunny approached her. "We're getting married," Sunny said, showing Ahsoka the ring. "Congratulations you both. Have you decided on a date yet?" Ahsoka asked.

"I was just thinking we could do it on December 4th," Sunny replied.

"That ok, Lightsaber?" she asked.

"Sounds great," he replied, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"Well, I'm gonna get to sleep. Goodnight," Ahsoka said, making her way upstairs to her room.

Still bent on continuing their celebration, Lightsaber and Sunny take off their shoes, set them by the door, and make their way up to their room as Elanor comes out of the kitchen. " Have fun you two," she said, winking.

"Oh we will, mom. We will," Lightsaber replied. The young couple quickly approach Lightsaber's room and go inside where they strip themselves until both are completely naked. Sunny presses herself onto her naked fiancé and rubs his bare, manly chest.
