Her hotel room itself was pretty good, but nothing compared to her house. Oh, her house was the perfect little castle for her and she knew it, but this was...okay, at least as far as comfort was concerned. "May as well get in a good workout while I'm here, the machines at the gym here are perfect" she then muttered to herself as she got up, thinking about the gym a little bit more. While she got herself dressed in a tight sports bra and black shorts, she wondered to herself if the gym had changed any since she last visited it. It more than likely didn't, but that wasn't really a bad thing for her. The machines in Cloudsdale were made to cater specifically to pegasus ponies. Better than the gym at Ponyville by a mile, seeing as how it was designed with all three different races in mind. Oh well, just another good reason to spend some time up in the sky. After getting dressed and readying the various things she'd need in a bag, Rainbow soon headed off towards the gym. Along the path, she was greeted by a fair few ponies here and there. Not really an adoring public, but a pleasant series of friendly pegasi that liked to talk or were just generally happy to be alive. In any case, she was able to reach the gym pretty easily, stepping inside and signing in to do a few sets without any trouble. There wasn't necessarily any kind of membership required, or at least, there wasn't for some pony like Rainbow Dash. Her wings already flared out at the sound of the various machines going in the distance. She opened up the door and found herself shocked at who she saw on the other side. Lightning Dust. The former Wonderbolt trainee that had pushed Rainbow to new heights, but nearly gotten her friends killed in the process. She was currently doing chin-ups when she looked down and managed to spot the prismatic pegasus. She just held herself there for about thirty seconds, drinking in the fact that this was happening. This was seriously a reunion of the two pegasi as they just stared at each other. They looked away for a little bit, the silence and awkwardness blatantly obvious to the entire building before they broke line of sight and Rainbow headed off to a different section of the gym entirely. Lightning herself just sighed and mentally lamented not saying anything. 'How is she here? Why is she here? Ugh, great, now I have to work out with that maniac in here' Rainbow had thought to herself as she found a treadmill that wasn't being used by anyone. She stepped onto it and then started it up on a fairly low speed to warm up a little. On the opposite end of the gym, Lightning Dust had settled down on the cloudy floor of the gym and started doing some careful stretches. She just needed something to take her mind off of Lightning Dust being there. It was a solid hour by the time Rainbow Dash had finally stopped herself on the treadmill. She was panting like crazy when she'd finally stopped, but was horribly sweaty afterwards. "Alright, I'll give you one chance to make it up to me. But I'm gonna be super strict about it!" Rainbow then told her, looking incredibly serious as she looked the other pegasus in the eye. After a short delay, the two former-rivals then went over to a series of mats on the floor. Lightning just returned with a familiar smirk of her own and lied down upon the adjacent mat. Rainbow held down her legs and then Lightning started to do her own crunches as well. She moved substantially slower for a longer amount of time as she worked up a sweat already. Rainbow looked a little bit surprised that she had been holding herself back for as long as she was. If anything, she expected Lightning to be a little bit more intense. That seemed to come soon enough though, as she noticed Lightning begin picking up speed. She was breathing carefully, keeping herself focused and doing her crunched her abs as well. Dash had been keeping track, and in the amount of time it took her to do 60 crunches, Lightning had only done 45. A little bit of a smirk came upon her lips before she thought of something, leaning down. "What, are you holding back on me?
