Question #15
3x-1=2(2x+3)
Find the value of x
Alright, just gotta attack this head on, like I learned. Let's see, hmmm. Two, multiplied by Two x is, ... four x! Yeah, thats it. Now two times three is six, so this side of the equation is four x plus six. This just gets easier as I go along.

Our family consists of me, my brother James (we just call him Jimmy) and my mother. Also, my father fits in there somewhere. Dad used to do business for the Government. He left when I was eight. He just disappeared into a wisp of smoke. For all I know, he's dead, and I feel that way about him. Dad just went up and left. He was presumed missing and one year later, dead. Of course, my whole family was saddend by the news, even Jimmy who was two at the time. We all learned to live on, but I could still hear my mother crying sometimes. I just felt too powerless to console her.
