Centuries ago The Magic Isles were a testing ground for unicorn mages to study and research spells and magic. But all that magic in one place resulted in the isles changing forever. The Magic Isles are now populated by creatures, people and anthropomorphic objects that call themselves 'Toon-folk' or 'Toons' for short.

The following short stories are set in The Magic Isles, where The Devil owns the casino, the creatures of Equestria come from far and wide to roll the die and may end up playing with their live on the line.
