", cried Freckled Tornado frantically, as he tried to unravel himself through the cold breath of the night. Piscean slowed down wearily for him. " Sheesh; what a night, huh ? ", gasped Tornado as he sucked in his breath. " uh-huh. ", retorted Piscean dreamily as she looked up to the stars. Suddenly, like a flash of lightning a chill ran down Freckle Tornado's back. 'What was that?' He thought to himself. He let out a sigh as he looked around and saw nothing in his vision. Another flash came into view. Then another followed, and followed even faster and faster. " Hey, what is that ? ", asked Piscean alert of what was happening. " I guess that's just the wind. ", retorted Tornado as he looked to admire his long lasting crush. 'What a beauty! Why on earth in Equestria would this lovely foal even give the time to speak to me?' Freckled Tornado asked himself. Then 'BAM'! Tornado collided along with a flash of lightning onto the hard ground. Freckled Tornado opened one of his dark orange eyes. He was met face to face with a young colt. They looked to be the same age. The young colt looked alarmingly at Tornado. " Oh, I'm terribly sorry ! ", the unknown colt cried. Freckled Tornado looked concisely at the colt, observing his every move. Piscean ran over to the two colts, her face was twisted up in horror and amusement as she saw the two of them side by side. " Well, well, well... hello there! ", giggled Piscean as she layed her eyes on the unknown colt. Freckled Tornado quickly objected to her tone of voice she chose to speak to the colt, and became very jealous. " Hey! What's so great about him? ", Tornado growled angrily. Piscean ignored him as if he did not exist. " What is your name anyway ? ", snapped Tornado as he lunged his self forward to the other colt. " Oh, uh... well. My name is Allstar and- ", the colt replied distinctively. " Hi there, Allstar! My name is Piscean, pleased to meet you! ", retorted Pi immediately as he said his name. Freckled Tornado could see the hearts in her eyes. " Shut up, Piscean! ", he cried as he shoved dirt at her with his hoof. Allstar and Piscean both looked towards him, paralized in fear and misunderstanding the whole concept. " Chill bro, no need to get an attitude; ok ? ", blushed Piscean in embarrassment. Freckled Tornado lowered his head, glaring at the 'blushing beauty'. Allstar and Piscean walked as they talked, leaving Freckled Tornado lingering alone behind them. It seemed like hours passed by as Tornado watched the two laughing and giggling to what seemed like nonsense and childish things he was forced to listen to. " Welp, sadly, I've got to go. ", frowned Allstar. His eyes twinkled in the dim light of the night sky. Piscean gave him a childish, but playful pout. 'Yes! finally, I can actually have some alone time to tell Pi how I truly feel about her!' Tornado dreamed in his mind. The thought of having Allstar leave the two of them alone just made Freckle Tornado wanting to get rid of him even faster. " Nice to meet you again, Tornado ! ", waved Allstar as he began to fly off into the twinkling stars. Tornado waved at Allstar dreamily as he still had the image of telling Pi playing over and over in his head. Freckled Tornado shook his head, trying to forget about that dream. He flew over to Piscean, as she walked slowly, dreamily, watching the night sky for any sign of Allstar. "Hey, Pi ! I want to tell you something ! ", blurted Tornado in a calm yet, peaceful voice that did not sound like his own. His features grew smaller, his cheeks reddened, hoping that she did not take his tone of choice the wrong way like she always took it. " Isn't he just amazing ? ", She gushed, her eyes studying the night sky. " Who? Allstar? What's so great about stupid ole' Allstar ? ", retorted Freckle Tornado bitterly, his anger growing more and more as he began to think about the situation. Piscean looked at Tornado in surprise. " Well, what's not great about Allstar ? ", she asked obliviously. Freckled Tornado quickened his pace, trying to drain out those words she just said. Piscean, still wasn't catching on. " Stupid earth foal. Stupid oblivious earth foal! Why can't you get anything right for once? Can't you see that- ", Freckled Tornado stopped, in his rage of madness. He could see Pi, tears invading her delicate eyes. He stopped in his hooves steps, waiting for her to catch up. He lowered his head in defeate. " I-I'm sorry, Piscean... I don't know what came over me. " he stammered, taking his bandana off his broad neck, and wiping away her tears. " It's o-okay dude. ", Piscean insisted; as she forced a smile on her face
chapter 2 - the conversationView OnlinePink and Orange Sunsetchapter 2 - the conversationFreckled Tornado walked down the streets of Ponyville, searching for a good place in the shade. It was a hot day; hotter than any other day any pony has ever seen. " Heyo! ", cried a distinct voice. Freckled Tornado turned around wobbly as he laid his eyes on his wild, and dizzy headed, friend First Crush. " Oh, uh- hi there; First Crush. ", he replied, forcing a smile for only a few seconds. " I heared about you gettin' jealous yesterday night, because of that new colt ! Have you told Piscean yet ? ", cried First crush in a very fast manner. " I did no such thing. ", snapped Tornado. He opened his wings in pride, as if he had nothing to hide. " Don't you lie to me ! I saw the whole thing ! ", giggled First Crush rapidly. Tornado's eyes widened at the words he just heard. ' Did she really just say what I think she said ? ' wondered Freckle Tornado. " You stalked us ? ", he cried furiously; as if they were the only two in the whole village. First Crush looked disturbed at the way her friend looked at her. " No dummy, I was taking a stroll in the woods, I could see you two fighting the whole time. ", explained First Crush, as she knocked him on the head. " And then I saw the fire in your eyes... I got scared, so I ran before I could see if you told her. ", Crush admitted. Tornado looked at her in disgust. " Look, Crush; I would love to stay and chat with you, but I think I'd rather go talk to Warming Breeze about these kind of things. ", retorted Tornado as he tried to think of a good excuse to get away from the crazy foal. First Crush looked at him in astonishment. " Who could be more helpful with love than me ? Have you even heard my name ? Or took notice of what I do ? ", she cried angrily, narrowing her eyes. Tornado ran like a flash trying to get away from First Crush. ________________________________________________________________________ He spotted Warming Breeze at a nearby coffee shop, talking to a very familiar looking colt. Yes! He was a very familiar colt. Tornado held his breath as he walked up to find that Warming Breeze was having a conversation with Allstar. Tornado felt betrayed and hurt, but he walked up to them anyways. " Oh, hi there pal ! ", smiled Allstar warmly. Freckled Tornado made a disgusted face at him. Warming Breeze made a shy smile as Freckled Tornado turned to face her. " Warming Breeze, I really need to- ", began Tornado. " I completely understand ! ", replied Breeze before he could finish his sentence. Breeze got up and left the two colts alone to talk. Allstar looked around awkwardly as Tornado took Breeze's place. " This wasn't what I was wanting. ", glared Tornado. Allstar stared at him curiously. " So, that Piscean foal... she's uh- ", started Allstar; who was trying to make conversation. " Piscean is my best friend. Sure, maybe she doesn't really give me the time of day; but she's perfect in my eyes. ", gushed Tornado, a slight smile formed on his face. Allstar looked at him in amusement. " You really care for that foal, huh? ", he winked as if he knew what Freckled Tornado was thinking. " Who ? Me ? Of course not. That's gross ! ", protested Tornado. " Well, anyways- wanna grab your foal friend and race ? ", gestured Allstar innocently. Tornado looked at him in surprise. " You wanna hang out with me ? ", he asked in suspicion. " Yeah, sure. I mean, I don't really know too many ponies in this place anyways. So, why not ? ", retorted Allstar. Freckled Tornado looked at him meekly. ' Why is he being so nice to me? I've been so, horrid, to him. ' Tornado thought to himself as he climbed out of his seat. " You know, you're not bad, kid ! ", laughed Freckled Tornado. " Wow, thanks ! ", laughed Allstar sarcastically as he ruffled Tornado's hair.
chapter 3 - love at first flightView OnlinePink and Orange Sunsetchapter 3 - love at first flightzoom! Allstar flew right past as Freckled Tornado tried to keep his balance in the air. " Hey ! Watch where your going. ", laughed Freckled Tornado as he caught up to his new friend. Allstar turned around mischievously. " Ha ! Why don't you make me ? ", he cried as he darted upward and did a flip. Tornado shook his head, a big grin forming on his expressionless face. Piscean looked at the colts with wondering eyes. Tornado looked towards her. He knew what she was thinking, the part of her always wanting to be able to fly. Suddenly, a big grin covered his face, a triumphal idea took place in his mind. Allstar looked toward his friend in confusion. Tornado darted down in a swift jolt ! He picked up Piscean with all of his might, and carried her as if she was a filly again. " C'mon Freckles ! Put me down, this instant ! ", she cried in her loud, over bearing tone. Freckled Tornado hated when any pony ever called him Freckles, that is unless, it was Piscean. He'd normally tell her to 'shut up and enjoy the ride' but not today. Today, he felt as if all the weight of the world was lifted, something good was gonna come between him and that nice, old, foal he knew since he and she were fillies. ,Piscean gave up trying to get free from Tornado. " Hey, let's throw Piscean around ! ", announced Allstar, he looked as if he came up with a very clever idea. Piscean looked in surprise as she became aware that Tornado was gonna give in with the game. " Ok, catch ! ", retorted Tornado in a moment of silence. Allstar darted for her just in time, and then threw her again. The boys kept throwing her to one another for a while. Then, Allstar threw her too lightly. She was falling, falling down onto the hard, cold, ground. Tornado darted for her ! Faster and faster, he tried to keep his pace to reach the falling foal. Piscean screaming at the top of her lungs. She closed her eyes, ready to feel herself hitting the hard ground with a thud. Seeing the colts, surprised and trembling as they discovered her bloody body, not moving a muscle. Then, something caught her off guard. She felt something catch her, it was flying her back up into the air. She opened her eyes in a dazed motion. She saw the short blonde hair, it was covering his dark blue eyes. Allstar laid her gently on the ground as she looked to find Freckled Tornado. He was rubbing his snout carefully, twigs were misplaced everywhere in his ginger colored hair. His freckles looked misplaced, his eyes, filled with hurt and neglect. " Oh my, uh- thank you Allstar ! ", Piscean blushed as she looked up into his eyes. Allstar beamed with pride a little as he looked towards Tornado. He still was staring at the two, as if he had never seen either one of them ever before. " Ruff landing ! ", laughed Allstar. Freckled Tornado looked at Piscean now, almost as if he was in a trance. " Hey, Freckles, Are you ok? ", asked Piscean. That was the most she'd ever paid him attention. Tornado nodded hesitantly, and coughed up a flower pedal. " S-stupid bush. Always gets in my way. ", he gurgled, trying to change the subject. In his mind, it kept playing over and over. Allstar and Piscean's eyes meeting, and then she blushed. Freckled Tornado never once had been able to make Piscean blush before. The look in her eyes... something, he'd never seen before. He felt as if he was about to have a melt down right there at the spot. His face reddened as he flew off into the sunset leaving the two friends in confusion.

He lowered his head in a very sad motion as he now, looked at his reflection of himself in the creek. ' Why can't I be what she likes in a guy? ' He thought angrily, as thoughts persevered through his mind. He looked at himself in disgust. Those freckles, the ones he was known for by her. The only foal he'd allow to call him the name he hated most. ' The look in her eyes' Tornado thought. " What if she truly loves him ? ", he cried allowed hopelessly, as if he was waiting for someone to give him an answer. His eyes began to flame in furry as the thought hit him. A rustle came from a nearby bush. Tornado lost his train of thought, his eyes developed back into very sad, droopy eyes again. Tornado turned his head, embarrassed of the thought of somepony to be watching him. His wings flew open, preparing of anything terrible to happen. Piscean came out of the bush swiftly, throwing her hands in the air as if to surrender. " Ok, you caught me, dude. ", she laughed as her eyes landed on his blushing face. " You know, you can be really annoying when a colt needs some time alone to ponder. ", Tornado gaped as he trotted back to the creek. " So- what happened back there ? ", Piscean asked solemnly as she sat down right beside him. Tornado could feel her soft fur rub against his. " Well- ", he began. " Well, is this really important ? Because me and Allstar have to- ", she retorted Tornado without even realizing that he said something. ' Weren't you the one who just asked me to explain ? ' He thought to himself angrily. " It's very important, but of course you wouldn't care for what I have to say. ", he huffed to himself, looking the other way. Piscean gave him a reassuring smile. " What could be more important than All- ", she began as she matched her face to his. " Ugg ! I puddin' love you! ", Freckled Tornado screamed at the top of his lungs. His face was hot and red, like he just came out from a oven. He huffed angrily, staring into the eyes of Pi. She looked at him intensely, her eyes wide in surprise. Tornado saw that she was trying to say something, but her voice box wouldn't let her. He looked down at his reflection once again, catching a glimpse of reality. His heart pounded like someone was beating on a door. " I- I'm sorry. I don't know what just came over me. ", He said hesitantly. Tornado's eye lids dropped like waits. " It's just that, your the most beautiful foal a colt could ever imagine of. I know you can't see that, but I can. I hate everything about you, but- that just wants me to be with you even more. ", he opened his eyes once again. Fire flies surrounded them both now. She looked so beautiful in the twilight. Piscean looked down slowly, as if she wasn't able to say anything. Freckled Tornado looked into her eyes and smiled shyly. ' This will be a great story to tell our kids one day ' he thought to himself, pleased with how the way she smiled back at him.
