Prologue: Arriving to Equestria

You know when you are just minding your own business, and someone comes along and starts pestering you about this that and the other. It’s very irritating you just want to tell them to go fuck themselves well just such was my predicament haven gotten roped into this irritating and wholly useless discussion as I waited for the bus to get off to work. The sales guy was dressed in a white shirt with his company logo on the right breast, black smart trousers with a sleek finish his black shoes buffed and shinning with an unholy shin in the sun light. His jet-black hair was waxed in a spiked manner that looked like this was the only freedom he had in his job, the tinted skin colour contrasted with the pale white of his lower neck symbolising that he has been in the sun for too long. The ocean blue eyes made it known that what he was blabbering on about was what he was told to read by those higher than he but what really made me irritated was the shit eating smug grin he was wearing almost as if I was his next victim in the endless cycle.

“…and when you take the benefits that will be given to you when it is your time to retire and allow your children to take up the mantel that is life you will need security…”

“ahm” I say as I wave my hand in front of him. He gives me a look of longing as though to ask that he has succeed in his duties to sign away another person’s soul to the abyss. “sorry to but in like this but the bus is about to get to this station and as enjoyable and intriguing as this convocation is I must be on my way to college.”

At the mention of college, the man frowned realising that the current financial situation that I would be in would not benefit the company that he works at.

With a wave of my hand and a short but thankful good bye I boarded the bus to college, paying the driver the necessary amount I made my way to the back to take a seat for the long road ahead.

The bus ride went off without a hitch walking off the bus a friendly thank you to the bus driver I begin walking through the gates that lead to the main building of the college. Reaching the doors, I begin to push it open.

Darkness, that is all I see coming too. Opening my eyes, I’m looking to the sky only to realise that where it should be morning the moon is at its zenith. Begrudgingly I get up only for everything to go black as a sharp pain pounds through my head. Staying still for what seemed like an eternity it finally subsided as light started to fill my blood brown eyes I spotted what shouldn’t be there a lot of trees with ……… “faces?” I asked to no one in particular. That’s when it hit me like a frat train ‘why am I surrounded by trees’.

After sitting there for an eternity pondering on this thought I started to get up slower than when I had tried to sit earlier. As I re-adjusted myself I began to realise that these trees reminded me of something I had watched before but couldn’t put my finger on it, taking stock of my situation I looked around for anything that could indicate why I’m in the middle of a forest at night that’s when I realised I was just in my boxers nothing else a faint red hue adorned my cheeks clearly visible to my white Caucasian skin tone.

Realising that nothing of value was around just leaves, roots and bark. That’s when I spot my most prised item a simple silver neckless, the individual pieces of silver connecting in a chainmail like way with the wooden and steel crucifix to end it. I walked over in pain from the ground on my bare feet I took a hold of the item and placed it around my neck only for it to seem as though I was on fire, this burning sensation soon ended, and I made toward what I presumed to be due north.

As I started making my way I soon noticed that my feet were beginning to hurt from the ground and if I could feel pain then this was no dream, if this wasn't a dream then where the fuck am I. at this I start to hyperventilate and panic as I wonder where am I?, what coursed this to happen?, what happened to my clothes? and how am I supposed to get back home from such a place?

After a little while of freaking out I started to calm down repeating the fraise "focus on the here and now Brandon your not doing yourself any benefits by reacting like this." I pick up a branch and a stone and begin making a sharpened branch as I made my way in what I presumed was north.

The sun began to rise when I finally found something that would lead me to civilisation. A river however it was very unique I could see clearly to the bottom through the crystal clear water, slumping down I chanced a gulp and to my surprise this was the best water I had ever consumed it tasting pure. Once I had filled up on water I surveyed the trees for anything that would seem edible. The tree to my right had a strange looking fruit growing from its branches, using my now sharpened stick I lunged at it only to have it move towards me. Side stepping the wearied fruit plunged into the river crashing through the dirt throwing peace's into it. That is when the feral growl hit me and a lion that had leathery wings and the 'fruit' appendage as a tail it seemed to have gotten into a fighting stance which I intern did as well holding my impromptu spear in both hands. At that moment it lunged at me using its tail to swing as it got in close, using the spear I bashed the attack away when a searing pain rushed up my body from my left side glancing down I noticed that the beast had used its claws to slash away at my side wincing in pain I backed up placing a hand on the cuts.
I could tell that the cuts weren't deep but by God did they hurt looking back to the beast that seemed to have a smug grin on its face I growled back at it.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you never to play with your food and that injuring a human was the last thing that most animals ever do before they are wiped from the food chain." Cracking a smile I ran towards the beast spear point aimed for its eye, the beast didn't respond for the first two seconds that's when it realised that I was charging it rather than running away however its response was much too slow having reacted much too late. The bellowing raw that it made before it collapsed and died. Removing the spear I walked over to the water and washed off the blood then I made my way back to it making a cross symbol, that's when I begin to remove the fur of the animal using the river to remove the end trails I put the pellet over a branch to dry and get started on building a fire from scratch using the knowledge I gained from scouts it didn't take long for it to get started using this I began to cook up some of the meat from the carcass and using one of the sticks on fire I began to tend my wounds by burning them shut. The sheer pain and agony I went through made everything go black.

When I came to the fire had died down the food was done which I proceeded to eat much to the gratis faction of my stomach the meat was quite chewy but tasted like chicken, moving over to my new clothing I began to fashion shoes and a fur over coat out of the available material with my new found warmth and the pain from my feet being supressed by the new shoes I drank some water and made my way down the river the sun was at its apex when I started moving.

After about an hour I stumbled on a little village with a mighty castle a rope bridge connecting the two however what made me pinch myself was the fact that instead of people they were horses, pones even but some had wings and horns much like the depictions in Greek and roman mythology though there were also some that had leathery wings what was really strange was the random assortment of colours that were present from normal browns, blacks, whites, to reds, yellows, pinks and blue almost like a paint pallet. Now this would all be fine if I was dreaming but the fact I wasn't really made me question the divinity of God especially since they all seemed to have a tattoo on the back leg joint all individual and unique never copy and pasted. When I got as close as the tree line would allow I began to freak out because not only were they a seemingly civilised group probably middle ages/ medieval age technologically wise they were speaking English all be it in an old dialectic way at this I began to hyperventilate and retreated just far into the forest that my presence is not likely to be noticed but close enough to town that I might be able to observe them and figure out their ways. Looking up to the sky I noticed that the sun wasn't moving which defied all laws of physics unless this was a tidal locked world looking back towards the town this white one with wings and a horn with bright pink hair that seemed to be flowing in an non existent breeze came out to the balcony that's when her horn glowed in a bright yellow and the sun suddenly moved at unnatural speeds setting. That's when I saw a much smaller pony with dark blue fur, horn and wings with a constellational flowing main, her horn glowed in a midnight blue hue as the moon began to rise to its zenith in an unnatural speed, then the two turned and headed back inside the castle.

I muttered to my self that this was highly unusual and what is the correlation between the speed of the moon and sun's fast movements to those pones that's when it clicked and a huge revelation took a hold of me I was in the world of Equis and that castle town was likely the castle of the two pony sisters however the fact it was still in full working order meant that the knowledge I poses of this world isn't going to help me. This closure did help me however in getting some sound sleep that night.
