//-------------------------------------------------------// A Falling Star -by NeonVibeBrony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// It Starts With A Spark-le //-------------------------------------------------------// It Starts With A Spark-le It was silent. Peaceful, even as twilight layed her head down to sleep. Even though she had seen it hundreds of times since she moved into the library, she still liked to look at the small details of the room as she fell asleep. The cracks in the walls, the knots in the wood. She would count each one, and wright it in a small diary of her's. She started to think though, deeper in her mind about each thing. How it got there, and what purpose might it serve. She was fascinated and intrigued with her thoughts, as always. She was having a wonderful time, almost drifting off to sleep before she started to think about the silence. "There has not been a night this quiet in Ponyville since i moved here.." She Whispered to herself. "I wonder if Luna and Celestia are alright." Twilight had drifted off to sleep, not letting the thoughts bother her. She started to drift into a deeper sleep, being taken into a dream. "We need them back!" Yelled a Mysterious pony "We cant live like this!" Yelled another pony. Twilight looked around her, she seemed to be in a town like Ponyville. The towns people shouting towards the mayor, and a pony that looked exactly like Twilight standing next to her. The buildings looked to be run down, the pony's looked to be hungry. and the sky. It was like nothing she had seen before, tainted purple, with pink clouds. and it didn't seem to change, her entire dream. She only heard bits and pieces of what the mayor was saying. "Don't worry My little pony's! twilight will fix this, she knows what happened!" They mayor said, trying to get control of the pony's hysteria. Twilight- or at least the mare that looked like her, stepped up to the podium. "It'le be alright! i promise. i'm working it out, i just haven't figured it out yet. i still wish they where here two." Twilight's look-alike had said. 'Who was here?' thought twilight to herself. 'Who is gone? why is the sky like this?' she took time to view more things about the area. Twilight's look-alike was wearing a brown  cloak.  And she looked taller. She looked like she had been crying, As well as not well slept. In fact, not for a few days as it looked. Suddenly, a bright light came from the stars, falling into the ground, from the sky. Twilight had zipped up in bed, waking in a cold sweat. "You alright twilight? You looked like you where having a bad dream?" Asked spike, standing near Twilight, a Concerned look on his face. "I had a horrible dream spike!" Twilight said hastily. Twilight began to explain the things she had seen to spike, the hungry pony's, the shouting, and the "missing" pony's they where obsessing about. but spike just started to laugh. "Oh, twilight! You know that princess Celestia and princes Luna wouldn't let something like that happen! And even if they didn't, you and your friends would use the elements of harmony to fix it." Spikes words seemed to calm her, but then as she thought about it. she became saddened. 'Why didn't they prevent it? why didn't they stop whatever happened in my dream..' She thought to herself. She would continue to think about it, if she didn't have to meet applejack this morning. She promised they would go to there favorite eatery for breakfast. She got out of bed,  and walked over to the door of the library bathroom. She opened it, and began to freshen up. Starting the water for her shower, and brushing her teeth as she waited for the water to heat up. She spat out the foam from the tooth paste and stepped into the shower, the warm water relieving her body of stiffness and pain. Any thoughts she had seemed to drift away, as she let the warm water run down her body. She began to clean, some soap, shampoo, and finally rinsing herself off. She stepped out of the shower, drying herself off. Levitating a towel around her body. She began to brush her mane. reviling her horn, sharp and magical as always. She stepped out of the bathroom, and out the front door of the library, the cold air hitting her freshly groomed coat. She trotted out down the path towards the eatery, everypony around her seemed hushed. still talking, but in a whisper. twilight just blamed it on the time, being early, and continued to trot down the road. she found herself almost walking past the eatery, if Applejack didn't stop her. "whoa, girl. where do you think your going?" Said Applejack, biting down on Twilight's tail to nudge her back. "Oh, sorry Applejack. I was just thinking of this silence, you know?" replied Twilight. "It is a might weird, but hey! Lets not let something ruin our morning." Applejack exclaimed, joyful to see her friend. Twilight and Applejack trotted into the eatery, the scent of dandelion sandwiches and freshly baked bread filled there nose's. "That's one might of a smell.... right twilight?" Applejack asked her friend. "yes! its wonderful." Twilight and applejack sat down at one of the booths, waiting for someone to take there order.
