Brimstone and her partner, Blast, had made quick work of capturing up slaves to use for the dragon empire. They nabbed you right outside of Ponyville while on your first quest of official pony business. “Halt,” Brimstone’s voice made you and the line freeze once you had reached the area in front of the castle’s double door entrance. The armored anthro dragon called out to the castle door as though she was talking to no one at all, “Dragon Lord Ember, I, Brimstone, have brought you the slaves that you requested.” The doors gave several thuds and metallic sounds like they were unlocking in response.
As the doors opened, a figure could be made clear. A dragon in complete golden armor covering almost all of its body except for some small areas where you could see blue scales was standing in the middle of more guards. The lord walked out to where you were whilst carrying a tall scepter adorned with a glowing red stone. Just like the others it was anthro and humanoid, but dare you say, it was a she. Despite the golden armor being mostly and spartan and utilitarian, your brain followed its animalistic tendencies and couldn’t help but focus your eyes on what appeared to be a curvy and rather busty female dragoness underneath.
“What is this?” Ember wasn’t pleased at the selection of slaves as she surveyed us.

Ember looked down the line at all of us in the chain of misfit goons. “I do not like stallions, and you should have known that by now.”
“But they have been so helpful at the mines hauling our ore, pushing jewel carts.”
Ember must have gone from flustered to outraged at the apparent lack of comprehension, “Look at this selection. I cannot position a stallion or griffon how I’d like, diamond dogs are hideous, hippogriffs are not in my taste, and…” Ember stopped. Her squinting eyes were visible in her armor’s eye sockets.
“Me? Oh, I’m human, your highness…, and before you give your fucking judgement of how I look, I suggest not wasting time for the both of us. I’ve got places to be. I’m needed in Canterlot, and us parting our ways would be for the best, especially if you don’t want a pony goddess kicking down your castle door once I’ve been lost too long,” you almost couldn’t believe your rant that you laid down, but you kept your composure and a strong veneer.
Brimstone decided she wasn’t having any of it and began to walk towards you in an attempt to slap some sense into you. “I’ve had enough of your ignorant mouth, and now that Lord Ember doesn’t want you-,” Brimstone was cut off by Ember’s grasp on her shoulder.
“No need,” Ember decided to confront you herself. Now that she had come closer, you could see the sheer size of her physique. Anything that the dragon slavers wanted you to fall in line with, you weren’t giving them. “Set the others free. I want this one.”

She waited several seconds before breaking out into a hearty chuckle.

You ran the scenario out in your head and determined that a weapon like this was obviously not sufficient to defend yourself against Ember so it had to be used to somehow hack and slice your way out. The chamber did have a window with thin metal poles that could possibly be sawed at to a point that you could escape, but the room was also in the second story and overlooking the courtyard. There was no other alternative so you went with it considering you had no way of tracking time.
The hardened steel of the blade was proving to be more resilient to ware than the metal that made up the bars of the window. There was three of them and you had totally sawed the base and top of the first bar. Now you were on your second. Considering it was night and there was a ledge you could drop out to, it was looking to be an easy escape, but you still didn’t know how much time had gone.
