Princess Celestia has a problem.

Her heats come much less often than the average mare's – only once every three hundred years or so. But they make up for that in intensity and in length. For anywhere from several weeks to several months, she is so thoroughly consumed with the need to be bred that she is rendered unable to function. Naturally, the world cannot handle one of the two people in it capable of moving the sun and moon taking a day off, much less a month. The only solution, aside from waiting it out, is to find someone who can fuck her pregnant. And therein lies the problem; most ponies are barely capable of surviving a night with the Princess, much less satisfying her.

But ponies are cross-fertile with a remarkable number of species, some of which are significantly bigger and more durable than others. Princess Celestia has ordered the Royal Guard to track down and capture the first Gryphon they can find to be her mate.

It turns out the first Gryphon they can find is Gilda.
