It was a cold, rainy day at CHS. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were hanging out under a small awning in front of the school, having a meeting of their movie club.
"No way!" Scootaloo shouted. "Daring Doo is obviously better. Why..? No.. no.. how? How could you say otherwise?"
"It's just.. I enjoyed the Power Ponies movie just a bit more. It's not that big of a deal, is it?" Sweetie Belle replied.
"Not a big deal!?! Oh, I think I'm going to be sick." Scootaloo yelled again.
"You really had to say it?" Apple Bloom said as she gave Sweetie Belle a disapproving look.
"What? This is a movie club is it not? Am I not allowed to give my opinion on a movie?" She asked, very confused.
"No! Not if it's a stupid opinion!"
"Okay Scootaloo, I think you might be taking this a little too far." Apple Bloom interrupted.
"But.."
"Scoots, stop." Apple Bloom repeated. Scootaloo sighed in defeat.
"Fine.. but this isn't over." She said, crossing her arms and leaning against the building. Just then, there was a large gust of wind, and some of their papers began to blow away.
"Hey! get back here!" Apple Bloom yelled as she chased after some of the flying papers. Luckily, they didn't go far and she was able to catch them all. She brought them back to the other two girls.
"Maybe it would be better if we moved our meeting inside." She suggested.
"Race you to the clubhouse?" Scootaloo challenged.
"Oh, it is so on!" Sweetie Belle giggled.
"Alright, you girls ready?" Apple Bloom asked. "Three, two, one. Go!"
The three girls ran quickly through the rain, trying to dodge the puddles as they went along. Suddenly, a leg raised out in front of them. They didn't have time to notice it let alone stop. They tripped over it and fell face first into a large puddle.
"What the hay!?" Apple Bloom said, spitting out water. The three of them were completely soaked from head to toe. Other students all carrying umbrellas stopped and looked down at them. Some began laughing and snapping pictures.
"Oh.. what's wrong girls, forget how to walk?" Came a familiar voice. They looked up to see Diamond Tiara, laughing as she stood above them. She held a large umbrella in her hand, the rain pelted it and began to drip off the ends of it right onto the already soaking wet girls.
"You did that on purpose!" Sweetie Belle yelled as they got back to their feet.
"Maybe I did.. maybe I didn't." Diamond Tiara giggled with a fake innocent expression on her face. "You girls may want to smile a bit. I'm sure this will be all over internet soon."
The drenched girls looked around, almost everyone had their phones out, taking pictures and laughing. They felt very embarrassed. So, they quickly ran away before anyone else could see them.. as Diamond Tiara waved with a sly grin on her face.
Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle ran as fast as they could to the safety and shelter of their clubhouse. When they got there, they slammed the door and slumped down in their chairs as the rain water dripped off of them.
"Why does she always have to pick on us?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Who knows.. but I'm sick of it!" Scootaloo said angerly.
"It's gone on way too long." Apple Bloom added.
"Maybe.. we should do something about it..?" Sweetie Belle spoke up.
"What did you say?" Apple Bloom asked. Slightly confused.
"Well, I thought.. maybe we should do something about it.. Maybe give her a dose of her own medicine?" Sweetie Belle explained.
"Hmm.. may.."
"That is a great idea, Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo shouted. "But what could we do?"
"Now, hold on just a minute. I really don't think we should fight fire with fire." Apple Bloom thought.
"No, Apple Bloom. You said it yourself, This has gone on long enough. We need to get back at her!" Scootaloo said.
"Honestly, I have to agree." Sweetie Belle said quietly. "We've been putting up with her teasing and pushing for years now. I'm really sick of it too. Something really needs to be done."
Apple Bloom sighed.
"Fine, what do you suggest we do then?"
"We need to find a way to embarrass her. Make her feel, how we feel." Scootaloo said. They thought for a few minutes.
"Ooo I got it!" Sweetie Belle shouted. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom looked at her.
"Well, are you going to elaborate?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Oh, yeah" Sweetie Belle giggled and explained her plan to the other two girls.
The Next Morning, it was still raining hard. The three girls were at their lockers, when they saw a crowd gathering around.
"What's going on over there?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Uh, no idea." Scootaloo replied.
They walked over to the crowd, as they pushed through, they found it was Diamond Tiara in the center of attention, as usual. Everyone was looking at her new, still shining, leather pair of boots.
"I know.. I know! They are lovely aren't they?" Diamond Tiara said as everyone admired the boots.
"They are, like, the best boots ever, Dia." Silver Spoon said.
"Amazing and expensive! These were a hundred dollars. My daddy bought them for me." She boasted. Everyone around gasped.
"Big deal, they're overpriced boots. What's so special about that?" Apple Bloom questioned.
"Probably because you don't understand taste farm girl." Diamond Tiara laughed. "What are those things anyway?" She pointed down to Apple Bloom's footwear.
"They're my boots, and they didn't cost me a hundred bucks either." Apple Bloom replied.
"Clearly, they look like you got them out of a dumpster." Diamond Tiara said, and walked away laughing with the crowd following close behind. Apple Bloom sighed.
"Alright, so when are we doing this." She said angerly turning back to the other two girls.
"When the last bell rings. It'll be great." Scootaloo laughed.
"Good." Apple Bloom replied. "Now we better get get to class." She said and the three walked away to their class.
The day went by very slowly, but luckily they didn't come into contact with Diamond Tiara. After what seemed like forever the last bell rang and everyone began to made their way home. Diamond Tiara was walking down the stairs and started to get her umbrella out. So she wasn't watching where she was going.
"Here she comes!" Sweetie Belle wispered to Apple Bloom. She looked acrossed to Scootaloo and nodded her head. This was the signal. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo grabbed a bit of fishing wire and pulled it tight. Diamond Tiara didn't see it and walked right into it. It caught on her boots and she tripped.
"What the.." Diamond Tiara shouted as she fell, face first and landed in a large mud puddle with a splash!
"Aw, gross!" She said, trying to wipe the messy gunk off her face.
"Hey guys, look at Diamond Tiara!" Someone shouted. Everyone looked over, and began to laugh. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo ran over.
"Oh no, Diamond Tiara!" Sweetie Belle giggled.
"Did you forget how to walk?" Scootaloo laughed.
"Oh no girls! Look at her fantastic hundred dollar boots.. where did you say you got them? Looks like a dumpster!" Apple Bloom finished. People crowded around, laughing and taking pictures of the filthy Diamond that lay in front of them. Diamond Tiara looked around, she felt very embarrassed.
"This is far from over." Diamond Tiara yelled. She stood up and ran off with pictures still being taken.
Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo laughed and headed back to their clubhouse, now with a sense of accomplishment.
