Trespasser

Twilight Sparkle was in her castle's library studying some science books as she wanted to relax with a good book. While she was studying Starlight was in her room with Spike as they were helping eachother with a project.

As the three did their own things Spike finished helping Starlight Glimmer decided to see if Rarity needed help with anything so he left the castle leaving Starlight and Twilight alone together.

As Starlight went to read a book she realized that her and Twilight were the only ones there as the rest of their friends were somewhere else, she decided to go see Twilight to see if Twilight needed any help with anything. As Starlight walked down to the library she realized how silent the castle is Twilight was being very quiet.

She got to the library and went in and saw Twilight sitting in a chair reading a few books. Starlight wondered if she should leave Twilight alone as Twilight seemed to be focused on her book. She knew that Twilight didn't like to be bothered when she had time to herself so she decided to just go back to what she was doing before going over to see Twilight.

Before Starlight got back to her room however she heard a noise in a room that she walked by. She stopped and stared at the door in front of her. She was confused by this as nobody else was there besides her and Spike and Twilight. Twilight's other friends weren't there unless they had been lying.

Starlight listened closely but didn't hear anything, she opened the door and was shocked when she saw Scootaloo trying to climb up some shelves for something Starlight grabbed her and set her on the floor and kept a grip on Scootaloo's jacket.

"Scootaloo! What are doing?! Are you trespassing?!" Starlight yelled. Scootaloo cowered before her with a look of panic in her eyes.

"It isn't what you think Starlight! Please let me explain!" Scootaloo begged but Starlight wasn't having any of it she grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her to the library where Twilight was she opened the library door and dragged her over to Twilight and pushed her to the floor. Scootaloo got on her knees and looked at Twilight.

"Hey Twilight! I found Scootaloo trespassing in your closet. I found her after hearing some noise as I was walking towards where you were." Starlight said. Twilight looked at Scootaloo as Scootaloo was breathing quickly with fear.

"Please Twilight.....it's not what it looks like....she misunderstood...." Scootaloo begged Twilight. Starlight smacked Scootaloo upside the head.

"Shut up!" Starlight screamed. Starlight looked back up at Twilight.

"This is Royal property that you have trespassed in. Why are you here? Explain yourself." Twilight said to the young girl. Scootaloo started to get upset.

"I was just trying to find Twilight so I can talk to her .....I swear! Please let me go!" Scootaloo said as she begged Twilight as she started to cry. Starlight looked down at her.

"That's a lie! You came here to steal from the princess didn't you! That can get you arrested by the Royal authorities! We should tell them that your over here and maybe then you won't steal from the princess ever again." Starlight threatened. Scootaloo got very scared and that only made her even more upset.

"I wasn't trying to steal! You have to believe me! I would never steal from the princess's! Just let me explain!" Scootaloo begged.

"Search her." Twilight ordered Starlight. Starlight ripped Scootaloo's jacket off and pulled out change and candy from Scootaloo's coat pockets and pants as Scootaloo whimpered. After searching her she threw all the stuff on the floor.

"She just has some money and stuff. Nothing else!" Starlight said as Scootaloo breathed heavily as she looked at Twilight and the floor in fright.

"She probably doesn't have anything else with her then, If she had a weapon I probably would have noticed. No the only thing she has now is a scared expression that's she's probably faking and suspicious plan of action." Twilight said.

"Why are you here?" Twilight asked Scootaloo. Scootaloo looked at her with a look of fear in her eyes as she was afraid about what was going to happen to her. She didn't want to get hurt. She tried her best to explain.

"I wanted to talk to you about a problem but I...I didn't know how! So I decided to hide out in the castle. I need help with something so I decided to ask you as your really smart! Please don't hurt me!" Scootaloo said as she cried.

"That doesn't give you a reason to trespass. Im thinking about handing you over to the Royal guard for punishment for trespassing. What you did was against the law. You committed a crime Scootaloo and I'm not happy with that. If you wanted to talk to me then you should of knocked on the front door and wait for us to invite you in to talk to me but you didn't do that." Twilight sternly explained.

"I'm sorry! Next time I will knock! I just have a problem!" Scootaloo explained.

"No I don't accept your apology Scootaloo, in fact I'm thinking about having you arrested by the guards, your almost ten which gives Equestria the authority to lock you up in a juvenile delinquents home or we can call your parents and have you grounded." Twilight said with a stern tone.

"But Twilight I have a problem! Give me another chance! I won't trespass again! Please!" Scootaloo begged as tears fell down her face. Twilight sighed as she thought about what to do.

"We don't care! You shouldn't have trespassed!" Starlight screamed at her. Twilight motioned Starlight to calm down a bit as her anger wasn't necessary so Starlight calmed down.

"What should we do with her Princess?" Starlight asked. Twilight thought about it for a few moments as she looked at Scootaloo. She then made up her mind on what to do.

"Bring her before Princess Celestia! She will know what to do with this girl." Twilight told Starlight. Starlight nodded and dragged Scootaloo to the Royal princess's castle. When she got to the castle the guards blocked the door and spoke.

"Starlight Glimmer? Who is this supposed to be?" The guards asked.

"Her name is Scootaloo she's a student of Cheerilee's and I caught her trespassing in Twilight's castle. Twilight told me to bring her to Princess Celestia." Starlight said. The guards nodded and stepped aside to allow her to enter. Starlight dragged Scootaloo all the way to the throne room while Scootaloo begged.

Starlight entered the throne room and saw Celestia acknowledge her. She dragged Scootaloo all the way up to the throne and threw her down onto the floor before Celestia.

"Who do you bring before me?" Princess Celestia asked Starlight.

"Her name is Scootaloo. She was caught trespassing in Twilight's castle. She said she wanted to tell Twilight about a supposed problem that she has but that doesn't make sense as she should just have knocked on the front door." Starlight explained. Celestia examined the young girl.

"You didn't have to trespass Princess Twilight's castle in order to ask about some thing you could have just knocked on her door. What you did is a crime and crime's have punishments. But of coarse you probably didn't understand that and trespassed Twilight's place." Princess Celestia explained. Scootaloo was starting to sob.

"I'm sorry I won't do it again! Just let me go!" Scootaloo begged. Celestia thought about the situation for a few minutes. She had no idea what to do as the usual punishment for trespassing was arrest and jail time but Scootaloo was just a kid still and she seemed to be very scared. Celestia realized that this was a very difficult case. She never had a kid trespass a Royal location before as all of the trespassers up until Scootaloo were adults and they were all thrown into the dungeon for a few days and then released with a fine to pay off.

"Scootaloo you have put me in a tough position. If I let you go you won't learn your lesson but I can't exactly throw you in the dungeon either as that would be to extreme. I would fine you but you don't have money and I can't hold a trial as that would be to time consuming. Your in a lot of trouble Scootaloo. I hope you realize that." Celestia explained. Scootaloo was so scared as she didn't want to get any punishment she wished she hadn't done what she did.

"I know I'm sorry Princess! Please don't hurt me!" Scootaloo begged as she cried. Celestia sighed as she examined the scared frightened girl in front of her while she thought about what to do. She finally figured out a reasonable punishment and spoke.

"Have Ponyville reprimand her and have her monitored for the next few weeks in order to make sure she doesn't do anything else. Have her get extra work in school for what she did." Celestia announced. Starlight nodded and lead Scootaloo out of the castle.

Princess Twilight put Scootaloo under surveillance for the next few weeks and told her teachers to give her more work. Scootaloo served out her punishment and had learned her lesson as she would never trespass someplace ever again.
