After a few more moments like this, I felt my body getting shaken for a bit by something... or someone.

I quickly opened my heavy drooping eyes as I awake. My vision was a little blury but I could see that the one who woke me up was none other than General Scarlet Night. She seems to have shaken me up from my sleep.

"Sir Arton." She gently said as she shaken me one last time to wake me up fully.

"General?" I said while I still feel sleepy.

"I'm sorry to wake you up, but we have visitors." She explains to me.

"Hostile?" I asked because I'm a bit surprised that we would have 'visitors'

"No. They claim to be potential allies." Scarlet explains to me.

"Who are they?" I asked as I now getting up from my sleeping bag.

"Female Deers, also called Does. They said that they are a group of resistance that is defying King Dainn's rule." She explains.

"Are they outside?" I asked as I picked up my hammer and my helmet.

"Yes, they are waiting for you." Scarlet said. Then I put my helmet on my head.

"Take me to them." I told her and we both went outside the tent.

When we got out of the tent I saw that I was surrounded by the Lunar Legion waiting for me. I followed Scarlet forward as the bat-pony soldiers make way. After a while, I see five different individuals. They are females for sure, but if I'm not mistaken they are also Deers. Maybe they are resistance in the Deer Kingdom, because since Dainn enslave females, it only make sense that a resistance movement would be made of females.

Now there are five of them. The one to the far right is light brown, with white hair and wear revealing pink clothes. The one next to the right is more brown but has white spots and wears only purple bikini and sneakers. The one in the middle is red hair, pink-red fur and has better clothes than others. The one to the left has red santa clothes, white and brown fur, black hair and weird red nose. And the one far to the left is very much white-brown fur and a nice silk dress, and she also has a sweet smile.

I and Scarlet walked towards them until we were in a polite distance away from them.

"I assume you are Arton Ravenheart?" The one in the middle asked with a tough voice.

"The one and only, why?" I causley asked.

"I saw your battle against Dainn's army and it was amazing! I never thought I'll see the day someone could bring down the tyrant's horde!" The one with pink clothes spoke in amazement.

"Seeing you destroy Dainn's most powerful legion proves that there is a chance for this kingdom to finally be free." The white-brown female to the far left spoke sweet and nicely.

"Stop! Before anything else, who are you all?" I spoke out. And the one in the middle spoke.

"Fair enough. I'm Hedwig. And this (Far-Right) is Engel, this (Next-Right) is Frederika, (Next-Left) Kaja and (Far-Left) Berta. We five together are leading the resistance against King Dainn." Said the Deer namned Hedwig.

"And we came in hope that we can come to an agreement." Said Engel.

"Agreement such as?" This time it was Scarlet Night who asked. With a little suspicions in her voice.

"An alliance. But the thing is, if we defeate Dainn what will happen then?" Asked Frederika.

"The main question is, are you here to liberate us or to conquer us?" Asked Kaja.

"That's up to Nightmare Moon, Queen of Equestria." I spoke out plainly.

"And what does she want?" Asked Berta with a gentle smile and voice.

"All she told me is that she want Dainn dead and this war won." I told them honestly.

"Her majesty seek to free this kingdom from his tyranny, isn't that what you want?" General Scarlet Night asked them.

"Of course we want that. The problem is that we don't know what to do anymore. We tried everything to help our home, but we're already thinned out as it is. We have no support, no armies and no discipline. The only thing that keeps it alive is us." Explains Hedwig. After that she looked straight at me.

"Which is why we are here. We need your help but we know that we can't get it without giving something in return. So I just want to know what is it that we could possibly give for your aid?" Hedwig said in a serious tone.

"If you think I'm the one leading, you're mistaken. I'm just an expensive mercenary, not a general." I explained before pointing at Scarlet.

"Ask Scarlet Night, she is one." I said.

"´Sighed`, If it were up to me I would say that for freeing you should all kneel for the Night Queen. But after what you all have been through, it would be very unfair." Scarlet explains before continuing.

"But it's not our right to tell you what to do. This is your land, your home. And we knew that Dainn would want to do to us mares as he does to you does by conquering Equestria and then the world." She continued.

"I will be honest to you all, I can't promise you anything. We can't promise you anything, because like Sir Arton said it's Queen Nightmare Moon's decision on what to do next. But if you aid us, the very least we can do is give you an audience with her majesty. I and Sir Arton would no doubt support you if you want independence for alliance. But don't be surprised for the worst." Scarlet Night said with full honesty.

"Like it or not, but we are your only hope to despose King Dainn. And we need your support to make our campaign more successful. An alliance with us, I'm afraid that is up to you and not us. But you have my word that we do not practice slavery and we do not tolerate tyranny. While we're the ones doing the fighting we'll do what we can to help you. So my question is... What say you?" She finished.

All five of them soaked it all in and talked to each other about it. I could tell that this was a dilemma going for them. I highly doubt that they trusted us at all but knew that they need us. There was also admiration and respect I saw as well; even hope, I think.

"We are grateful for your honesty, even though you are not such a good motivator." Said Engel.

"But all that matter to us is our freedom and a great friendship between our species. Even if you can't convice your queen from occupying us, can you at least try?" Asked Frederika.

"Yes, at least that I can do." Said Scarlet with a nob.

"And what of you, Arton Ravenheart? Do you fight for money? or for our freedom?" Asked Hedwig.

Now that question is unfair to me. I hate slavers but as a mercenary, I fight to make a living. If she's gonna give me an unfair question, I'm gonna give her an unfair answer.

"Both." I simply said. They didn't seem to like it.

"But before anything else. I must ask an important question!" I said quickly, earning their attention.

"Once we get rid of Dainn, what will happen to the Deer Kingdom? Will you bring back your old days? will you make changes? or will you enslave the caribou and treat them the way they treats you all?" I asked with a serious tone.

"A good question, my good sir. Since you are a sell-sword, is that a concern for you?" Asked Berta, still smiling.

"I didn't come here to kill every caribous in this kingdom, just Dainn." I said plainly.

"Well you don't have to worry, I got a younger brother back at the resistance. So I for one have no intention to torment ALL males for the actions of others. Not all caribous follow Dainn willingly, some follow him out of fear. If possible, maybe we can spare most of the caribous if Dainn dies. Until them, we have no choice than to kill those who gets in our way." Explains Hedwig.

"'Our'? So you are saying that you all would agree to be our allies?" I asked since I caught her words.

Guess what? Hedwig looked at the does next to her who nob and then turned to me.

"Yes. We are now allies as we all now in an agreement." She said with a polite smile and offer me a hand to shake and I took it.

Hedwig also shook hands with general Scarlet Night as well and so the alliance between Equestria and the deer resistance against King Dainn. The Lunar Legion break camp and start marching (flying) towards Deeralios, the capital city of the Deer Kingdom. According to Hedwig and her friends, there is a village we need to conquer before we could take Deeralios at once. That village happens to act as the headquarter and the foundation of the Deer Kingdom's system of slavery. In other word, if we take that village we would cripple Dainn's slavery even more and freedom would rise even more. That village holds both morale and political value.

Here we are: me, Scarlet, Hedwig, Engel and Kaja, atop of a mountain-hill and looking at the slaver village. That place really live up to it's reputation. Because from here I could see many caribous who wore nice clothes and held a leash which was around the doe's necks. The does were bare of any clothes and they were forced to walk on all four of their limbs like an animal. Some Caribous were having their way with the does out in the open while others just watch. There were also some buildings were they were selling the does or forced them to service the Caribous.

I'm clenching my fists, even with my warhammer, because I can't stand it anymore. I just wanna kill every last one of these caribous. Of course I'm not the only one who want to do that. I can see the ladies giving killing glares and rageful looks at the scene. I knew I had to speak before they do anything rash.

"I have a plan, which will work." I said and got their attention.

"My armor can create an illusion fog, causing these slavers to see things that aren't there. That way our soldiers can attack and kill them without much resistance. Wound, knock-out or kill; our mission is to conquer this slaver village and bring down Dainn once and for all. My fog power will not effect our troops, and this way we can win much more faster. What say you?" I explained my plan and they all seemed warmed up to the idea.

"Good idea, Sir Arton. With your fog, we can minimize our risk and losses." General Scarlet Night complemented my plan and the Does nob in agreement.

So it happens. Every caribou was looking at the show with a smug smile as the male was beating the doe while the other does only watch in pity and sorrow. They could not rebel against the caribous as the king would punish them with death. They helplessly watch one of the doe getting beat by her owner for refusing his order. They prayed for something to happen to stop this or someone to came here who would stand against this unjust slavery. Guess what, their prayer are comming true because of a strange fog rose up out of nowhere. And this fog didn't look natural. The caribous that was beating a doe stopped when he noticed the fog as well. The whole village was covered with this thick fog.

What's so special about this fog is simple. It has different effects. To the does and the Lunar Legion it just a light fog, easy to see through. But for the caribou slavers it's the infamous Fear Gas from the batman stories. By using it's effects the caribou would be in disarray, giving us a big advantage. Once the caribous have been infected by the fear toxic, I commanded the bat-pony archers to fly up on the roofs and start shooting at the slavers. While all the male deers runs around in fear; I, Scarlet Night, Hedwig and all our soldiers were walking towards the village and come to liberate it. Once I killed a caribous who attacked me in panic the rest of the Lunar Legion began their attack by storming through the town and killing any who tried to fight back while freeing the slaves. The attack on the village came swiftly and because of my fear infesting fog there were very few soldiers who could fight back.

All the does in chains and cages saw the fight with their very eyes and couldn't believe what they saw, their slavers and masters are getting butchered by the shady soldiers comming from the fog. After a while the fog has disappeared and now everyone could see what is happening. The slavers and the caribou soldiers realized that they could not win this so they threw down their weapons and raised their hands as a sign of surrender.

"STOP!!!" I roared after killing three soldiers and just like that the fighting came to a halt.

"Those who surrendered, get down on your knees NOW!!!" I roared again and at once the caribous complied.

"Chain them up, general. Hands and feets so they can't fight back." I commanded Scarlet Night and she nob before commanding her soldiers to do that.

I then turned to Hedwig, Engel and Kaja.

"Set every slave in this village free, some of the lunar soldiers will help you out." I said to Hedwig.

"Of course." Hedwig said as she and her friends along with some bat-ponies start freeing the does.

After like 10 minutes all the caribous were immobilized and chained together. Hedwig, Engel, Kaja and mostly female bat-pony soldiers released every slave and ensure them that no harm will fall upon them. They were fed, clothed and had their wounds treated. Some were reluctant to let the male warriors help and preferred the help of the female members of the Lunar Legion, quite understandable. I turn to Hedwig to talk to her.

"Where are your other friends?" I asked her.

"They are bringing the resistance here to join your legion. From here we can at last go towards Deeralios and end Dainn once and for all." She explains.

And just after she told me, the Lunar Legion shout out that a group of armed does are comming. Which means that they are here. The resistance is an 'almost' all-girl armed force. There were a few caribous among them, I guess they oppose Dainn's rule. I saw Hedwig hugged a young caribou so I guess he is her brother. The resistance brough weapons and start arming the freed does.

"Kaja, Engel, I need you two and a few resistance members to keep an eye on them encase they try to escape." Hedwig told her friends right after she hugged Frederika and Berta.

"Some of the soldiers of the Lunar Legion will assist with that task to." Said Scarlet Night as she came next to me.

Kaja and Engel nodded and with the help of a few resistance members and bat-pony soldiers surrounded the chained caribous to watch them.

"Sir Arton, come here for a moment." Hedwig said as she walks towards the end of a cliff.

I followed her there, while it was a long walk I soon understood why she wanted to bring me here. Right from that cliff I could see the city of Deeralios, it's a beautiful site.

No doubt this city of ice was so amazing and beautiful I could stare at it for months or so. But I recall I have a tyrant to take care of and he lives in that fine city. I looked at Hedwig.

"Such a pretty city, isn't it? It's just a shame that filth like Dainn and his ilk rules it." She said.

"Agreed, but not for long. With the combination of the resistance and the Lunar Legion, the annihilation of Dainn's great army and my power's ability to punch a hole through the wall we can go right through the front door and win." I said, full of confidence.

"I like your enthusiasm, but even without his army. Dainn still has a strong grip on the city, it's defender won't surrender so easily." Hedwig said.

"I know what you mean, but with our morale so high I don't see how we could fail." I said and then I pat her shoulder.

"Let's end this nightmare forever." I suggested and she looked at me with a smile and nobbed.

Once the resistance and the Lunar Legion has gathered up and regrouped together, I explained my plain of taking over the city. I shall create a fog around the city wall so thick the caribous can't see a thing but for our own soldiers it will be so weak you can see anything through.

The city of Deeralios was having a peaceful and quiet time, but those who live and rule the city was having anything but a good time. The news about Dainn's great army being destroyed has demoralized and underminded Dainn and his belief about male's superiority. The story about Dainn's army annihilation proves that King Dainn himself is not invincible and it's only a time before those who oppose him will have the courage to stand against him.

Soon, the city's high walls are completely covered by a very thick fog that was blinding the city guards. And before they could call out for each other for their locations, some strange shadowy figures are flying around as fast as the eye. The soldiers of the Lunar Legion are flying quickly up the wall, in a very fast pace they are killing the caribou guards around the gateway of the wall. The bat-pony soldiers quickly killed many of the caribou soldiers guarding the gate and were finally able to open the gates for their comrades down below and that is when the battle turned bloody.

"DEATH TO DAINN THE TYRANT!!!!!!" I roared so loud that I swear you could hear the whole mountains echo.

With my warcry the Lunar Legion and the resistance as a whole charged into the city with me running first and my fog spreads around the city. This attack took both Dainn and the city's defenders completely by surprise and before they could take formation or realize who they are dealing with the combine charge of the Lunar Legion and the Deer Kingdom resistance came flooding through the gates shouting and screaming like wild animals. The caribou was loosing ground very fast and they were trampled to death by Arton's army who began slaughtering the last of the defenders and breaking countless chains and cages that kept many slaves down.

I killed my share of caribous as I lead the charge, my fog blinded them completely so that makes our mission more easily. It was until we reached what looks like a Royal Ice Palace. It quite astonished but why the hell must every building in the Deer Kingdom be made of ice? Nevermind that now, what looks like the remaining Dainn loyalist caribou seem to have formed a shield wall to protect the palace. I stopped and held my warhammer up high so both all the soldiers of the resistance and the Lunar Legion stop their charge and make all my fog disappear.

"DAINN!!! KING DAINN!!! SHOW YOURSELF!!!!!!" I roared out loud so it echoes through the whole city.

After what I think took a few minutes, I saw the door up on the palace open up and from there came Dainn himself out at the balcony and he look down at us. He was accompanied by two bodyguards and he seems to have recovered from that punch I gave him.

"Come down here at once.... FACE me!!! No one else has to die. Trial by combat, right now!" I shouted out my challenge to Dainn.

"So be it! I will not allow you to desecrate my divine kingdom any futher! I shall personally take you down!" The arrogant Dainn said as he jumped down from his balcony and the caribous make way for him.

He was wearing some kind of fancy iron plate armor with a fine shield and longsword. As he approach me, I told Scarlet, Hedwig and everyone else that this is my fight alone. Both Dainn's loyalists and the Lunar Legion and resistance make room for us two and we both cirlce each other with our weapons prepare. But before we start I decided to make this duel much more interesting. I conjure myself a completely new armor. And that armor is one of my own favorite. It's the armor of ROBERT BARATHEON!!!!! With a golden stag shield. Everyone were taken back by this change of event and they all look at me with eyes wide as dinner plates and their jaws hitting the ground. Even King Dainn was shocked that he stood there with a shocking face.

"W- what the- What's this!?" He demanded.

"What better irony is there but to kill a stag. AS a stag." I said.

From that with a savage war cry, I charged at Dainn as he now snaped out of his state. The power of my armor is simple, this armor possess an aura that causes hundred times physical damage and wounds to anything I strike. That way, anything that is much more durable and sturdy beyond natural will be as weak as wooden sticks. Just when I reached Dainn I swung my warhammer right at him. Dainn raised his shield to block my blow which otherwise would have caved in his head. His whole arm trembled from the impact of my fercious blow. It was so strong he trembled a little bit. I answered immediately with an upward slash. He dodged the attack.

"How is this possible!? My armor and weapons are enchanted, you shouldn't be able to cause a dent!!!" Dainn growled venomously as he saw his shield seemed damaged.

"Anything is possible!!!" I roared while I keep sending blows.

Our duel kept on, it became a flurry of sword and hammer. Dainn and I danced to a deadly tune, we both were looking for blood. Amidst the bloodthirsty grunts and shouts, the stream flowed serenely, unaffected by the crowed around us.

"Why do you serve a mere 'mare' when you could be a king as well!? Why don't you join me? We could have ruled this world together. All the females are below us! You can have any slave you wan-" Dainn was ranting until my warhammer meet his chin.

"Slavery is against my nature!!! I WILL HAVE NONE OF IT!!!" I roard with my almighty rage.

My blows were thundering like my roar. In my blood rage, I finally penetrated Dainn's shield and landed my warhammer on his right knee. With a cry of pain, King Dainn bucked to one leg. Just as I was about to deliver the killing blow, Dainn manage to thrust his sword up towards me, cut deep into my abdomen. Believe me it hurts like hell, I had to back away in order to recover and stop my own bleeding. The caribou king later after wincing with pain pushed himself upright and then launched and aggressive attack on me with great speed, he dispatched blows with his longsword and even I must admitt he's a damn good warrior because he inflicted many wounds around my entire body, even with my armor and shield.

But just when I was on my knee, down and taking breath after breath due to the pain he cause me. Dainn then charged at me while lifting his longsword above his head. Everyone could see him charging towards me while wielding his enchanted sword. And just before he swung his sword right towards my antler helmet. I threw myself up, deflecting his attack with my shield and I headbut him in the face with my helmet. He backed away from me from that stunt.

"I won't... die. BY THE LIKES OF YOU!!!" I roared.

My warhammer was now transformed into an unstoppable entity. Engulfed in wordless fury, I, the mercenary rained blows upon the Caribou King of the Deer Kingdom. A particularly vicious strike snapped Dainn's sword cleanly into smithereens. Now fear started to raise inside King Dainn himself. But I was fast enough to catch him before he could do anything.

"NOW DIIIEEEE!!!" I roared

I kept on sending endless blows in ludicrous speed. The sounds of hammer on shield reverberated all around. Dainn's shield was starting to fall apart. It was too battered to withstand any more of my unnaturally strong rageful fury. Chunks of it were flying around with every hit.

After a while, one more hit from my warhammer just shattered Dainn's shield at long last. At the same time I snapped his arm, broke one of his bones. My next swing from my warhammer caught Dainn square in the chest. A splatter of blood flew out in the air. Dainn was thrown back with my brute force. His enchanted breastplate crushed, he struggled to breath.

I walked towards Dainn until I stood above his body and look down at him.

"You can never suffer enough for all the pain you have caused. Do the world a great favour, and die now." I said as I now held my warhammer over my head and landed my next blow cleanly at his already damaged breastplate.

It owner collepsed, this time for good. Dainn's chest had caved in. His lungs were punctutred. He was suffocating slowly. I stood above him, looking down in condemnation. Dainn's life slowly ebbed away. I kept watching him loosing his breath until he no longer breath. Silence took hold of the air when everyone finally saw King Dainn, the tyrant dead at the hands of a mere sell-sword.

I was catching my breath as I finally calmed down from the fight. I looked at Scarlet and Hedwig.

"It's over... At last." I said in a tired and calmed voice.

I then heard the sound of weapons falling down on the ground. I looked and I saw the Caribous who were loyal to Dainn threw down all their weapons down and then fell down on their knees as a sign of surrender.

I removed my helmet to get some clean, fresh air cooling down my literally hot head. The Lunar Legion and the 'former' resistance now collected the weapons on the ground and led the surrendering soldiers to the dungeon. I, Scarlet, Hedwig, Engel, Frederika, Kaja and Berta went inside the ice palace. It was quite wonderous to behold, the art and patters around every ice wall was completely more than beautiful. During our walk we came to the throne room. Very impressive piece of art.

"Quite a beauty right? Someone should sit on it and see if it is comfortable." I completed it.

"Yes~ Someone should~" I heard Engel's teasing voice behind me.

I looked behind me and all those does was staring at me, oh I know where this leads to.

"Oh no. Not me, I'm just an expensive sell-sword." I said in my defence.

"You are the hero today, Sir Arton. A little bit different, right?" Scarlet Night said in an unamused tone.

"Aye, heroes don't get paid." I quickly said.

"You have earned the right to it you know?" Hedwig said as she moved close to me.

"I'm still under the employment of a certain queen." I reminded them about Nightmare Moon.

"Soo right, but we can debate about this later. On the next day, I will send a message to Queen Nightmare Moon and inform her about our victory. From there we shall discuss the future of this nation." Explained Scarlet Night and we all agreed.

"Can we at least show you to the royal bed chamber where you can rest and sleep?" Asked Berta, I nobbed.

We all then walk future into the palace until we found a hall way with nice doors. We came to the one in the middle, once we opened it we found a very nice ice bedroom. I finally changed from my Baratheon armor to my common leather armor.

"Rest well, Sir Arton. You have earned it, more than anyone here today." Frederika kindly said before she closed the door behind me. I was left alone.

Not wanting to risk freezing to death I decided to jump into bed with my leather armor on and my warhammer next to the bed. I quickly fell asleep and dreamed my dreamless sleep in peace.

-:- Next Day, Arton Ravenheart's POV -:-

I slowly woke up by some sort of a light entered my room and shine on my eyes. I yawned and rubbed my eyes, they hurt right after being hit by that light.

"Oooohh, my eyes- why does it hurt?" I groaned while I rubbed my hurtful eyes.

I saw that light comming from those window curtains. I got up, still rubbing my eyes to look outside. And I saw sunlight.

"Oohh, I guess the sun light alwa-" I said.

Wait a minute.... Sunlight!?

"WHAT!?" I yelled out in shock and violently opened the curtains.

I could see the Deer Kingdom's horizon. With the fucking SUN up in the air. The sun has returned to the sky!!! How!? Why!? What is happening!? Nightmare Moon would never allow the sun to rise!!! Unless- Wait a minute.

"The sun-" I stopped myself and the ran quickly out of my room to find out what the actual fuck is going on.

-:- Scarlet Night's POV -:-

How is this possible!? The sun is up. Queen Nightmare Moon would never let the sun return. What is going on?

I'm not the only one confused. Even the Lunar Legion and the Deer Kingdom's citizents are shocked and confused as well.

"General Scarlet!!" I heard Kaja yelled as she ran towards me with a paper in her hand.

"This just recently came!" She said and I don't like the sound of it.

So I read the letter and was filled with dread.

General Scarlet Night of the Lunar Legion.

The eternal night is over, Nightmare Moon has been defeated. I, Princess Celestia and the bearers of harmony was rescued by the brave members of the wonderbolts who secretly broke us from our prison and replaced the Night Guards to cover our escape. When you were away to deal with Dainn, I and the bearers confronted Nightmare Moon and the elements of harmony cleansed her of all evil. Princess Luna has finally returned to us.

I understand this is too much for you and that your loyalty has always been with my sister's evil counterpart. But your bravery and success to rid the world of the worst tyrant in history cannot be denied. I am willing to overlook all the crimes you and your soldiers have committed in her name and grant you a pardon for your heroism.

Please, return to Canterlot along with the Lunar Legion and bring a few representatives of the Deer Kingdom. You all will be welcomed as heroes and rewarded for what you did for those who suffers under Dainn's tyranny.

As for Arton Ravenheart, try and convice him to come with you as well. He needs to be put on trial, his crimes cannot be overlooked but from what I heard from Luna I'm willing to hear him out and maybe even pardon him. Come as soon as you can, for I wish only peace for all.

I awaits your answer, sighed Princess Celestia.

Oh no....

"This is not good at all." I said quietly as I kept looking at the letter.

The whole capital city was in silence until-

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!!!!!!!???" Yelled Arton Ravenheart.

We all could hear his yelling comming right from the ice palace.

"Not. Good. At. All." I said and I completelly do not like where this will lead to.
