//-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight Gives Fluttershy a *Special Shock* -by Dark_Star777- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Twilight Sparkle sighed to herself as she sat in her castle library. She looked around, seeing nobody around and nothing to do aside from try and reorganize her books. She had read through all of her books, again, but none of them had really managed to give her any kind of reaction anymore. Months ago, she had learned to read a couple of different mature stories, but they didn't really give her the spark that she needed either. Frankly, she was beginning to wonder if just about anything was able to give her some kind of spark these days. "Ugh" Twilight groaned as she stopped slumping around on her seat, hooves tapping along the floor as she looked around the various books that she had to offer. She scanned along the individual titles among the different spines as she contemplated spending some time with her friends, but then, she remembered the exposition that was needed to start the story properly, so she began remembering who was doing what for a couple of days. Rainbow Dash was out doing some jobs in Cloudsdale's factory, Rarity was out in Canterlot to tend to her boutique personally, even having dragged Spike along with her, for some reason, Applejack was on the road with her family, even Pinkie and Maud headed back home to the rock farm to visit their family. All that left was.... "Fluttershy!" Twilight exclaimed, thinking that she could do just about anything to help give her some level of entertainment. Sure, Fluttershy was pretty lousy at entertaining guests and all, but when that's all you've got, it was better than doing the same thing you've been doing for a long time now. Without even knowing it, Twilight had managed to get out of the castle and into the streets of Ponyville with a little bit of cheer in her steps. Surely, Fluttershy would be able to end her boredom, wouldn't she? She was wrong. She was just flat-out wrong. You could easily manage to look at just about everything to analyze this situation, but simply put, Twilight was wrong about Fluttershy. The purple alicorn stood outside Fluttershy's cottage, looking to see the yellow pegasus standing around her chicken coop, carefully watching each of her chickens as they exited the little house for them and started clucking around. Each and every single one of them wasn't really doing much of anything aside from that, sometimes pecking at the ground once or twice, sometimes flapping their wings and digging their talons into the dirt, some of them even looking at Twilight every now and again. Twilight expected something to happen, something that would actually give her something to do. "Uh.....Fluttershy?" Twilight asked, only to quickly get shushed by the other female. Fluttershy just pointed with her wings towards the chickens as they all suddenly looked over towards the two ponies, looking confused as they tilted their heads. The silence hung in the air for a solid minute before they returned to their clucking and pecking at the ground, each of them focused simply on doing chicken things. "So, what brings you to my home, Twilight?" Fluttershy asked, being much more comfortable with everyone as she looked deep into Twilight's eyes. "Well....I was a little bit bored and wanted to come over to spend some time with you" Twilight answered, though she couldn't tell why she felt as though she were nervous during this moment. It felt like she should've been able to have a casual conversation with Fluttershy, but somehow or another, she just wasn't able to think of anything better to say. "Ah. Rainbow Dash comes over here for the same reason sometimes, I'm glad to know I can help with this as well" Fluttershy giggled happily as she started heading towards the door to her cottage, inviting Twilight inside before she headed to the kitchen to make some tea and snacks. That just left Twilight to lounge around in the couch. Fluttershy's house always had a more rustic feeling than most houses in town. Perhaps it was because of how it was so far out in the woods and managed to stand out among the clearing? If anything, it seemed to be in need of a new coat of paint or anything, but she supposed it wasn't as important of a detail right now. Why bring it up then? Because Twilight needed to have something to think about for this particular scene. Thankfully, Fluttershy came back out of the kitchen mere moments later with some hot tea and a plate of cookies, all miraculously balanced on her back. The tray looked as though it was about to tip over on one side or the other, but her wings had managed to keep it settled perfectly fine. Twilight decided to play a grateful guest and used her magic to levitate the sweets onto the coffee table just before the couch, smiling peacefully as Fluttershy smiled back and got to business. "So, what is it that you wanted to do?" Fluttershy asked right away, taking a dainty sip of her tea and smiling peacefully at the warm sensation. "Honestly? I don't really know. It's just that nobody else was around and I felt like you'd be nice to talk with" Twilight answered, looking into Fluttershy's eyes with a straight face. "I hope you're not saying that because I'm the only one left?" Fluttershy said with a little worry in her tone, but Twilight just shook her head, against the very thought that led to such an idea in the first place. "No, I think I still would've chosen you. Being honest, it feels like you're more rounded than the other girls are sometimes" Twilight began saying, only to hear playful little giggling coming from Fluttershy in return. The pegasus had a big blush on her face as she tried to play it cool, clearly having spent a little too much time around Pinkie. "Oh, I'm sorry, Twilight, I just couldn't resist. You should've seen yourself" Fluttershy giggled, making Twilight giggle as well. "Didn't think that you were the type to make a prank. I mean, after that last one and all..." Twilight drolled off, thinking back to one particular....moment and all. She mentally shook her head and simply pushed that bad memory out of her mind. "Well, I thought it might make it a little bit easier to be around others if I got them to laugh....Well, okay, Discord thought that would be a good idea and all, I just thought that it could help" Fluttershy then answered, giving a more realistic answer than Twilight was expecting. Perhaps it was time she start learning more about her friends instead of simply making expectations based on what she knew before. "Well...that does actually work for you, in that case. Still, I guess I was mostly just expecting you to...On second though, never mind. Let's just go and do something together" Twilight then told her, blinking her eyes and making a cute little squee noise like the stuffed animal she practically was. Fluttershy just gave a similar response as the two then started thinking about just what it was that they could do together. It didn't take long before they ended up realizing just how little there was to go out and do. While Fluttershy enjoyed going out and shopping for various herbs and such, Twilight never really liked shopping at all. Twilight suggested checking out the movies, but Fluttershy already knew what they were playing this particular week and didn't want to see any of them. Since the two of them had to do something, they needed time to figure out just what they had wanted to do together. The two of them put a hoof to their own mouths and thought about it a little bit further, staring out into space for another minute or two before Twilight suddenly thought about something. "I know it isn't really something you like doing, but would you consider maybe helping me test some magic? There's always spells that don't really work unless there are multiple ponies, but there is one that I've wanted to actually look at for a while" Twilight then asked, thinking it might just work out for the two of them. Fluttershy seemed to give it a little bit of thought and then eventually nodded her head with a little smile. "It won't be anything that mutates my body or anything, will it?" Fluttershy then asked, a little bit of awkward caution in her voice. "Of course not. What we're doing is something different" Twilight answered, a little bit shocked that Fluttershy, of all ponies, was asking her that. I mean, Twilight's never actually had that problem when it came to her magic (Bats!)....Her magic had never really been anything like that. Naturally though, Twilight just had to shake the feeling from her head, and as the two of them had headed off to the castle, Twilight thought about just what kinda spell to test on Fluttershy. Just as Fluttershy finished locking up the front door to her house though, Twilight suddenly knew just what it was. Author's Note "Where was Starlight during all of this?" Why are you thinking about this? //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Twilight and Fluttershy entered the castle and slowly began walking off towards the library. Twilight began thinking about it a little bit further, wanting to make certain the exact spell that she wanted to use was really the one that she wanted. The two of them adventured into the library and Fluttershy took a seat among one of the many sofas placed in it. Rarity always did have an eye for interior decorating. Sometimes, Twilight had to wonder just where Rarity may have ended up, had she not been involved in fashion her whole life. Perhaps a thought for later though. For now, she began the casual search for the spell that she wanted. The spellbook section of the library itself was fairly thin, hardly having much magical merchandise to be a merchant with. Still, she made with what little that she had, looking around the tomes inside and out to make certain what she had was there. For all she knew, she may have even dreamed it up. Thankfully for her and the plot of the story, however, she eventually stumbled upon the spell within the third tome she was searching. "Aha!" Twilight exclaimed happily, her wings unfurling in glee as Fluttershy looked over in curiosity. "This is what I plan on trying out today, if it's alright with you?" Twilight then asked as she laid the book upon a small table, letting Fluttershy crane her head over and look at the contents. This spellbook seemed to be filled all manner of different arcane ideas, most of which simply flew over her head as she tried her best to understand them. Unfortunately though, being a pegasus, Fluttershy didn't understand almost any of it, and just stared at it awkwardly. Seeing the confusion in her eyes, Twilight decided to be nice and actually give a legitimate answer to just what questions were forming in her friend's mind. "It's basically a spell meant to link information between an individual pony and another object" Twillight simplified. Fluttershy just nodded her head and made an "ah" of understanding towards her. Of course, being the individual that she was, Fluttershy still had a few questions forming in her mind at such a thing. "So...You're going to have me understand how something works with this spell?" Fluttershy asked, her head tilting just barely to the right to try and understand the spell's design a little bit better. Twilight just gave her a 'bless you' sort of smile and then began the process of explaining it further. "It'll link you and another object together so that you can experience all manner of different things that I do with the other one" Twilight then added, thinking that it would be for the best to keep it simple. Fluttershy was by no means dumb, she just needed a little bit more of an answer that a pegasus would understand is all. "It sounds like an....interesting spell, but I'm really unsure just what it'll end up doing" Fluttershy mused, looking over how the spell was worded and trying to figure it out in her head. "Honestly, that's what I had been wanting to test out. There are all kinds of different things that can happen right now" Twilight mused, looking over it again and nodding her head in understanding. It looked simple enough for her, but she always felt as though things were simple whenever she was looking at different spells and such. "Well...It seems interesting enough, I suppose that I can help you with this" Fluttershy then smiled happily, a little bit curious herself as to just how things would look through this spell in particular. Why, if it allowed her to feel things from a distance, without actually being involved in it, it would be something else entirely. The yellow pegasus thought to herself further about it before returning her attention to Twilight again. "Alright then, let's get started" Twilight answered, giving a cheerful, happy smile as she looked over the details of the spell once again, thinking it over and then looking around for...any real random object available. It didn't have to be anything particularly outstanding, but it did have to be something that could work without requiring additional effort to keep it running how she wanted. Eventually, Twilight came across an old closet filled with various items across her time spent in her castle. Little things, mostly candles and such that didn't really fit anywhere else. Twilight stepped inside and lit up her horn to try and find something when she noticed an old rod-shaped object randomly sticking out. Twilight hadn't spent much time in there, so of course, she couldn't really be bothered to remember whether or not it was there before. "I suppose this can work" Twilight mused as she grabbed hold of it with her magic, taking it out and setting it down on the table proper. Fluttershy, understandably, raises an eyebrow to the rod, questioning exactly what it is in her mind. "What is this?" ...And out loud, as well, apparently. "Well....I don't really know exactly how to describe it. I just sorta found it in the closet and it looked right, somehow" Twilight shrugged her shoulders. "It's not exactly like it has to be something specific to test this out or anything, right?" she then added, thinking that it wasn't as important as it seemed. A lot of it seemed as though it was just trial and error, same as everyday science. "I guess you have a point" Fluttershy mused, not really sure how else to think about it herself. "Well, better get started now" Twilight mused, having Fluttershy stand a specific distance away to make certain she could make the spell do what it was meant to. Fluttershy just did what she wanted and stood to the side of the rod, holding herself unusually still. She started to feel a little bit nervous about just what had been going on already, but she couldn't just let her friend down or anything. She repeatedly told herself in her mind that things weren't nearly as bad as they seemed, taking deep, slow breaths to keep her heart calm, and before she knew it, she could see Twilight readying the spell to be cast. "Let's hope that this does....something" Twilight mused, her horn lighting up as she shot two individual beams right onto the subject of her little experiment and the rod, both it and Fluttershy glowing a bright purple color for a few short seconds. Fluttershy held still for a bit, a little bit nervous as she started to feel tingly all over. She could tell that something was happening, something magical, but she couldn't for the life of her tell exactly what it was that she felt coming across her body. It was like being touched, but...weird. It felt unnatural, bizarre, all kinds of different things went through her mind in the mere seconds that felt like hours. Eventually, she was set back to normal mere moments later, a little bit sweaty and breathing heavily. "Well....How do you feel?" Twilight asked her carefully. Fluttershy seemed as though she were on fire or feeling something weird going on, but after taking a deep breath, she suddenly felt...nothing. "I don't feel anything" Fluttershy commented blankly, not really feeling as though there were anything going on. "Nothing? I mean, considering just how sweaty you are right now, I'd assume that you must be experiencing some kind of reaction?" Twilight casually commented. She was expecting a lot more, but then eventually sighed as she could hear something else running down the hallways, a little pitter-patter of little feet against the hard crystal floors. Eventually, she realized it was Angel Bunny running in, carrying a letter in his mouth and running up to Fluttershy. "What's this?" Fluttershy wondered aloud as she started looking over the letter. Reading it carefully, it looked as though something were happening, her eyes going wide in shock as she gasped. "There's an emergency going on at the sanctuary! Twilight, as much as I hate leaving you at a time like this, I need to go!" she told her purple friend, Twilight just looking surprised in general. "We can continue this part later, right now, you should go and help them" Twilight mused, watching her fly away as she then looked at the rod again. She couldn't tell exactly what was going on, but she could of course just find another thing to mess around with in the meantime. Little did she know though, there was a lot more to this than she had first thought. Author's Note Things are getting interesting now, aren't they? //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 It didn't take long for Fluttershy to reach the sanctuary, and she could easily figure out just what the emergency itself was. Some absolute monster had accidentally lit a small fire in the shrubbery. A lot of the brush seemed to have been taken care of by the time she got there, thank Celestia, but Fluttershy was especially happy to see that things had managed to go as well as they did. "Sorry, Flutters, looks like someone wasn't taking care of the power box properly and it exploded. It's gonna take a couple of days to get everything back under control" said one nameless earth stallion. Fluttershy just huffed angrily as one of her eyebrows twitched, obviously not amused by the simple idea that some pony was so reckless, they'd be left completely unable to get anything done alone. The yellow pegasus just took a few deep breaths and tried to relax a little bit. "Just...just make certain that nothing bad ends up happening" Fluttershy sighed. Amazingly-or unsurprisingly, depending on how you look at it-Fluttershy took her job VERY seriously when it came to running an animal sanctuary. Every little critter needed their own special needs met, and Fluttershy needed to constantly make sure everyone else was doing what they needed to meet those extra needs. For the time being, Fluttershy decided to check out a few of the rare, exotic birds, for the time being. Many of them needed a good preening every now and again, but thankfully, they were in perfect condition right now. All of their feathers looked perfectly preen and perky, just like her own wings, and it made the yellow pony very happy to see them enjoying themselves. Just as she was about to start doing some bird calls though, something randomly jabbed her in the butt. Right away, she turned around in shock, ready to give whoever did it a stern, hard, talking-to about personal space. Unfortunately for her though, she had no idea just who it was. If anything, it seemed to be nothing at all. That just made her blink twice in rapid succession, looking around the entire area to try and find a culprit, but she couldn't find out. She looked back at her birds and saw them all giving her funny looks. She gave them a few little bird calls, trying to talk to them in their own language. "Did you see any pony standing nearby?" she asked them, only to be told that none of them had seen anything behind her at all. That just made her even more cautious though, looking around carefully as she felt all manner of different emotions running through her at that moment. Fear, anxiety, arousal-"Wait, what?" Fluttershy greatly questioned herself at that moment. Now was not the time to be focused on her sexual ideals, now was the time to get out of there. "Hmm" Twilight mused, thinking that she should be handling the rod very carefully. The link had been activated and all, but the problem was that Fluttershy ran out too soon to really be able to make any kind of observations or anything. Instead, she was just left sitting there with an enchanted rod and nothing else to do with it. The pony princess just sighed passively and started digging around for another book, considering the idea of trying to find another book to read for the time being. "Oooh, isn't this an interesting piece of equipment?" said one particular voice that Twilight knew all too well. She scowled already as she turned to find the spirit of chaos and disharmony floating right behind her, playing around with the rod in his claws. "And I thought you weren't interested in causing chaos" he then commented with a big smirk on his face. Twilight could only try and pretend not to notice and simply sighed rather passively. "I'm not causing any, and be careful with that, it's got-" "Got an enchantment on it that links it to a pony?" Discord interrupted, surprising Twilight greatly. "How did you know that?" Twilight asked with an eyebrow quirked, amazed at such a thing before it suddenly dawned on her that he can do all kinds of different things. Seeing him randomly predict something that she was doing was of no real surprise. "Ooh, there it is. That adorable little scowl of yours" Discord chuckled rather deviously as he casually threw the rod into the background, Twilight grabbing hold of it with her magic and returning it to the table as carefully as she could manage. "Anyway, I looked ahead at the script and found that what happens is surprisingly saucy. Assuming you're done making her quiver in pleasure, be sure to tell her I said 'Hi'" he then added before putting on a hat and coat and walking into the closet, the likes of which was turned into a portal back to his home, leaving Twilight confused, as per usual. "I need to remember to ask Pinkie if there's any way to understand him" Twilight muttered as Pinkie actually folded over part of the screen itself. Twilight saw the way it was folding up and nearly had a panic attack, running to the other end as Pinkie showed up on the other side. "No can do, Twi-Twi, this is the kinda magic that not even princesses can know how to use" Pinkie smiled and giggle-snorted, soon returning to her parent's house and letting reality unfurl itself back into place. Twilight was just left to ponder the meanings of....EVERYTHING at this point. Thankfully for her sanity, the camera panned over towards the rod once again, reminding her of what Discord had said earlier, about Fluttershy quivering in pleasure.... "Wait....does that mean that the spell is linked to her...." Twilight pondered, her whole face going red as she started thinking about the different things that she could do now. A rather devious smile had formed on her features as she then magically picked up the rod and started wondering just what she'd use it for. But then, her conscience just had to kick in and remind her that she shouldn't be doing this. Why, it was sick and twisted to even consider the idea of it, and an absolute lack of responsibility. She was a princess, not some...dungeon mistress! She set the rod down in disgust and then turned up her nose, taking one out of Rarity's playbook and walking away from it before she could be tempted into doing anything worse. ...................... "Oh, I'm going to Tartarus for this!" Twilight said as she grabbed hold of the rod in her teeth and then dashed off-screen, knowing for certain that she just had to figure out just what she could do. Fluttershy was going to lose her shyness today, but only because she was going to be so mad at Twilight. Author's Note We are gathered here today to honor the memory of the fourth wall. It received many different beatings today by incredibly powerful beings, rendering it to a smoldering pile of ashes and confetti. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 All throughout the day, Fluttershy was constantly ducking around different corners, avoiding anyone and anything that she could encounter as often as possible. She didn't know just what it was, but something had constantly been attacking her all day. Some...unknown, mysterious force that she couldn't be bothered to try and figure out. She just had to get out of here, she couldn't risk being caught by someone at a time like this. She quickly spotted the exit and sighed in relief as she started heading towards it, but out of nowhere, she felt as though she had been bitten out of nowhere. Naturally, the shy mare gave a squeak at the sensations of it, looking around frantically to try and figure out just what had been going on. Her breathing had gotten harder and harder, and her desire to leave for some answers was only rising further and further. Her crotch started to tingle a moment later, burning brightly as she all but dragged herself outside of the sanctuary. "Oh, there you are, boss" said one of the nameless ponies working in the sanctuary. Had Fluttershy not been in public, she likely would've screamed out 'OH, COME ON!'. Unfortunately though, she had to put on some straight face or something to be able to talk to someone, especially one of her own workers. "We've been looking everywhere for the last twenty minutes" he commented, Fluttershy carefully turning around and keeping her nethers covered up by her tail. Her face was all red, and she was sweating up a storm as her fur started to get slightly matted down as well. "You okay?" he asked her, clearly unaware of just what was really going on. "Oh, uh....I'm f-fine.....What is it that you needed from me?" Fluttershy asked, doing her damndest to just try and not look like something was assaulting her genitals from behind, and she couldn't do anything about it, but thankfully for her, most background ponies are just incredibly dense. "Well, here's the thing; we've been needing to know just what kinda things to do to make sure that nothing like this ends up getting repeated, but we've also gotta talk to the cops about the incident, maybe set up a few more things to try and find the culprit and all. I can only imagine just what it's gonna cost and what it's gonna end up doing..." he prattled on endlessly, never really stopping with all of his chatter as Fluttershy needed to grind her ass against something. Something soon bit deep into her flank again, but she could almost swear that she felt something incredibly soft touching her as well. "Fucker!" Fluttershy all but screamed out, immediately going red in the face and covering up her mouth with her hooves. The background stallion looked at her with wide eyes, amazed that she could even knew that word in the first place. "Uh....Yeah, this guy, he....Uh....Definitely is some....fucker that needs to be stopped and all, so...I'm just gonna go and give you some...privacy. You're clearly in a rush to get...somewhere" he then answered, all but running away after such an awkward encounter. Fluttershy considered this a blessing in its own right for that, thinking that it was for the best as she all but rushed out and into the streets of Ponyville. Carefully, Twilight had been touching and prodding the rod with her hooves, magic, and sometimes, even biting it. She wasn't able to explain the feeling, but something about this just made her feel...good. Like, she felt as though she were actually in control of something for once. Out of all of the constant shenanigans that had happened in her life, this was something that she legitimately felt as though she had control over, and it felt incredible. She smiled and took a deep breath, carefully avoiding doing anything else for the time being in order to catch her second wind. She was far too deep into this to quit now. She spent at least a good five minutes relaxing before finally getting ready to start up again. She just felt so good like this, it was hard to really stop. Of course, it would be a lot easier to concentrate without the sound of wings flapping as she saw a sweaty, red-faced Fluttershy burst right into the library, her whole body a complete and utter mess. She was huffing and puffing on the floor with her legs all spread out in different directions. "Fluttershy!? Are you alright?" Twilight asked, looking her panting friend over and trying to help her gain some level of motor skills back. Fluttershy just looked worse for wear altogether though, just barely managing to get inside before passing out. A good fanning and several minutes spent cooling off, Fluttershy was calm and ready to talk about just what had her in such a rush in the first place. "So I'm simply watching the birds in the trees, but then it feels as though...something was doing things all over my body. It felt like I was on fire, and it touched me everywhere all at once. I couldn't believe just what was going on" Fluttershy had explained as Twilight could only look slightly ashamed at it. Her actions on the rod seemed to have a much bigger impact than she first figured that they would. Clearly, she would have to document the results and try to undo the spell as soon as she possibly could. Of course, she couldn't help but wonder just how far she could take it. "Well..." Twilight started saying, but then felt conflicted about what it was that she wanted to say in the first place. The two parts of her mind fought each other here, and eventually, she quickly sighed and looked at her feathered friend once more. "Honestly, I'm pretty much certain that the reason has to do with the spell we had cast on you and the rod. If anything, it seems as though it may have been a little bit more extreme than we first thought, or it requires any other kind of object. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you sooner, it's just mostly on account of how you rushed right out without letting me explain or even collect any data on it" Twilight then started explaining, with Fluttershy just sitting there with a cocked brow. Fluttershy drank the information in as best as she could, feeling just a tiny bit betrayed by Twilight in such a way. Eventually, she just sat up and looked into Twilight's sparkly eyes. "Well..." she thought aloud. "Honestly, it hurts that you did all of that to me without me even knowing about it, but it hurts more that you didn't try and tell me more when you did. I can at least excuse the last part, considering that it was my fault for running out like I did, but the first part is a lot more important to me right now" Fluttershy then told her with a straight face. Twilight just bowed her head slightly before her friend. "I'm sorry, Fluttershy" she apologized as the pegasus just smiled and then gave Twilight a big hug right away. "It's alright, Twilight. You know I'd never hold a grudge" she then mused, giving her a 'squee' that Twilight soon returned in kind, happy as can be that things didn't get out of control like what she had been predicting. "Besides, I guess it was a little bit....well, exciting to have that spell happen. I with to the sisters above and beyond that it wouldn't be in public like that again or anything, but I wouldn't mind doing more spells like these" she then mused, Twilight just looking at her with her head cocked in confusion. "Are you sure about that?" Twilight asked her, thinking that kind of comment was a little bit...random, considering Fluttershy's character. "I mean, I couldn't even tell exactly where I had been touching on the rod by comparison to you" she then added, thinking that it just didn't seem all that right for it to happen in such a way. "I guess so. Maybe we should just keep this our little secret from the others though, I'd hate to make them worry" Fluttershy then added, Twilight nodding her head in agreement as she summoned the same tome from earlier to her side. She and Fluttershy looked one another in the eyes and could already tell that things were about to get a little bit more interesting for them both, smiling and lowering their eyelids just a little bit and leaning closer together before the screen faded to black and the credits started rolling. Author's Note An invisible force molesting her from a distance, only it isn't a ghost this time? Took me long enough! Good night, everybody!
