Waiting In Line

Rarity was in Carousel Boutique trying to fix her sewing machine. She could not believe that it had broke on her while trying to sow a dress for a customer. She had no idea where to bring it in order to fix it as she only had one break on her before this one.

She thought about throwing it out and getting a new one but knew that that would be throwing away money. She also thought about replacing it for a new one. She decided that this should be the main coarse of action that she could take so she went to a materials shop with the broken sewing machine to fix her machine and if they couldn't fix it then she would have to buy a new one with money that she had.

When she got there she had to wait in a line as there was a line of people at the table we're you paid for stuff or brought stuff in to get fixed. She knew that she couldn't stand there for long as her hands would get tired of holding it.

As the line slowly dragged on her strength got weaker as the sewing machine started to leave her arms. She got annoyed as she wanted the line to hurry up before she dropped the machine and caused further damage.

She decided to sit down in her place in line so that she can wait there for the line to finally move ahead so that she could keep her place in line as well because she wasn't going to leave her place either. She thought that this line was the longest line that she had ever experienced in Equestria and she wasn't exaggerating as it was so long.

Rarity thought that this was the most annoying scenerio in Ponyville that could have happened. She hoped that her day couldn't get any worse than that but she knew that she couldn't think that either as she would jinx herself.

People stared at her for sitting down but she didn't care as she was to tired out. She just sat there and waited. She hoped that it didn't take to long to get to the front as she wanted to get her sewing machine fixed.

Rarity waited for the line to finally move with as much patience that she had left, finally the front of the line moved forward as more and more people got there problems fixed. She stood up and walked with the line.

As time went on so did the line as it took minutes for Rarity to get to the front but she stayed there as she tried not to get annoyed by the slowness of the line there. Finally as the line got shorter and shorter Rarity tried to figure out what to say about her issue and then she finally got to the front Which she was happy about.

"Hello....um first of all what's with the line. Is there a yarn shortage or what?" Rarity asked. The person at the front shrugged as they really didn't have an answer.

Busy day I guess. I don't understand it either so don't worry about that. What do you need help with?" The person said. Rarity placed her machine down as she had gotten tired from holding it in her hands for a long time.

I was working on something for someone and this unexpectedly broke and I didn't expect it to break as I didn't do anything to it. Can you fix it. How long will it take?" Rarity asked.

"We can fix it. The time depends on how big the problem is. We will take it and see what we can do with it. We will tell you once when we are done." The person said. Rarity thanked them and paid for the repair and left the sewing machine with them as she left the line.

As she walked home she hoped that they could fix it for her or she would have to bring the sewing machine somewhere else or she would have to buy a new sewing machine even if she didn't want to. She knew that she was making a big deal out of it but at the same time customers counted on her so she had a right to make a big deal about it.

Rarity finally got home and sat down after a long time of standing. Her feet hurt from standing in the line. She had no idea that the line would be that long but when she finally saw it it was to late to go back home as she had already been near the line. If she had known it was that long she wouldn't have entered the line.

She groaned from pain as she now had another problem to deal with but she kept quiet and dealt with it as she knew that complaining didn't help. Now alls she had to do was wait for the them to fix it for her which would be equally annoying.

She waited as patiently as she could for her machine. Finally they fixed it for her and sent it to her. She was so grateful that their was a shop here that repairs stuff in Ponyville and resumed working.

She finally finished the order and waited for the customer to pick it up and when the person came she gave dress to the person who had ordered it and the person left. She was so relieved that she had met the deadline as that line had delayed her but she was happy that the line didn't delay her for that long.

She knew that the next time if her machine broke she would wait until there wasn't a line there and then bring her machine there to get fixed as that was ridiculous about what she had been through. She hoped that she would never experience a long line like that when she is at a store ever again.
