An orange-yellow pony by the name of Setting Sun has ended up going through her childhood and into her adulthood without receiving her cutiemark. This, even if it has happened in the past, is still making her feel self-conscious. She constantly thinks that the other ponies she passes by on the street judge her for her blank flank. However, she has a supportive family behind her and a couple of friends to go with that. One being her own girlfriend. Setting Sun's parents may not join her on her activities outdoors but that doesn't mean they don't want what is best for her. Morning Star and Moonlight have decided to get her a diary so she can document her thoughts and feelings while also keeping track of her daily life. Follow Setting Sun's totally harmless adventures in search of her cutiemark while proceeding through a normal life.

The way this is being written is practically ad libed. I have a direction I wish to go but anything can happen to get there. It’s all progressive and I’m working with the flow, planning events and dialogue to bring up along the way. And I have plans to get someone to help edit and flesh out bits and pieces when it’s all done. Also, I'll try to be funny.

This is getting a rewrite from the middle of chapter 6 on, I am testing a new twist or whatever where there is no twist and everything just goes on normally, but add more background to the situation. I don't know, gonna see what I can do with it.
