It had been exactly one year since Mirage and Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwich had started dating. Well, dating wasn’t really the word Mirage would use. More like, constantly hanging out together and kissing awkwardly in public so they would look like a couple. Whenever anypony asked her, “So, how’s it going with you two?” she would always reply with a variation of, “Eh, it’s fine, I guess.” Over the past year, she grew fond PB, but she never really felt like she loved him. She genuinely cared about his safety, but she never found herself attracted to him. The only reason Mirage even agreed to go out with him in the first place was because she felt sorry for him, knowing how long he had been crushing on her.
Mirage remembered the day he asked her out perfectly well. She remembered the confusion as to why an earth pony like PB would be attracted to a draconequus-pony hybrid-thing. Mirage, along with her younger brother, were the offspring of Fluttershy, the element of kindness, and Discord, the embodiment of chaos. She was mostly a pastel yellow pony, with pink and black hair, Her tail resembled a red snake’s, with a tuft of hair at the end. Her left foreleg was an eagle talon, and her right one was a lion paw. Her back two legs were pony hooves, and she had deer antlers nestled on her head. Her eyes were different colors: red on the left side and aqua on the right. She had different wings too: her right wing was a bat wing, and the other a blue pegasus wing.
PB, on the other hoof, was the son of Pinkie Pie, the element of laughter, and Cheese Sandwich. He was also the oldest out of eight children. He was a tan-colored earth pony, with a curly dark brown and purple mane. He also had the brightest green eyes Mirage had ever seen. He wasn’t necessarily unattractive, in fact she knew many young mares that absolutely adored him. She just didn’t feel the same way about him.
So she was extremely surprised when PB had come up to her that day, and shyly asked, “Would you like to go out with me?”
For a second, Mirage was speechless. PB was asking her out? She ran her tongue over her sharp canines, trying to figure out how to respond. In the end, she decided to say yes, just to see what would happen.
After that first date, Mirage debated on whether or not to agree to start dating PB. She decided that the nicest thing to do would be to date him for maybe a month of two, then break up because “they were just too different”. That way, he would still be able to have the experience of dating his childhood crush.
Now, it had been a whole year since they started dating, and Mirage still couldn’t find a proper way to break up with PB. And she didn’t want to. She liked being in his company, and she liked the undying love he projected towards her, even if the feeling wasn’t mutual.
That day, she was sitting outside Sugarcube Corner, munching on her favorite jelly donut, when PB burst through the door and excitedly trotted up to where Mirage was sitting. “Guess what day it is!”
Mirage thought for a moment. “Tuesday?”
“Guess again!” He was jumping in place.
“Somepony’s birthday?”
“Nope!”
Mirage took a bite of her donut. “Jelly Donut Day?”
PB sighed. “It’s our anniversary, babe.”
“Oh.” She finished off her donut.
“And I have a present for you!”
Mirage hopped off the stool and pecked his cheek, his stubble tickling her lips. “Well, I forgot, so I don’t have a present for you. Are you okay with that?”
PB’s smile faltered. “Well, it stings, but I suppose I can understand. Besides, my present should be quite enough.” He winked.
Mirage’s eyes widened. She wasn’t sure what PB was planning, but she was now eager to see what it was.
They went up to the top room of Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie Pie used to live and work. Now PB and his sister, Cheesecake, resided here, and they took turns working shifts in the bakery downstairs. There were two beds in opposite ends on the room, but otherwise, the layout hadn’t changed much since Pinkie Pie. Even the not-so-secret party-planning cave was still used from time to time.
Now Mirage was very confused. What could PB be possibly planning?
Now he turned to her and took a deep breath. “Mirage, I know we’ve been together for a whole year now, and I know I love you, even if you don’t-” Mirage winced at that “-but I feel like we’re ready. I feel I’m ready to…” He paused, gathering his thoughts. “I feel I’m ready to… to get know you better.” Mirage’s eyes widened. “And I need your approval to do that.”
Mirage’s mind was racing. 'Oh, no. He didn’t… He didn’t mean… THAT, did he? You see, this is what you get for not breaking up with him earlier.'
“Mirage? Are you… are you okay?” PB stared at her, his face full of concern. “Damn it, I knew I would scare you off. Stupid, stupid, stupid!” He wandered around the room, scolding himself.
Mirage’s thoughts had settled by that point. She decided that the right thing would be to go along with it.
PB was already on his way to the stairs when Mirage snapped her fingers, and the two of them were teleported next to each other on the bed. Mirage smiled reassuringly and said, “You have my approval.”
At that, PB’s face brightened up. He leaned in and kissed her passionately. Mirage tried in vain to return his passion, but was unable to. That didn’t seem to stop him, though. He brought her closer to him, rubbing that sweet spot under her wings. She moaned with pleasure, opening her mouth in the process and inviting his tongue inside. Mirage’s bat wing was pinned underneath her, but her pegasus wing was quivering, enveloping them both in smooth, silky feathers. PB’s hoof trailed down her body, stopping at the base of her tail.
PB finally broke the kiss. He looked at Mirage, slightly doubtful, and asked, “Are you sure? Will you regret it later on?”
Mirage smiled. “I mean, so far it’s going good. But if anything happens, I’ll let you know, okay?”
PB grinned, delighted. His hoof went down the rest of the way and stopped just as he got to her slit. To his surprise, she was soaking wet. Mirage chuckled. “Go on,” she said, reassuringly.
That was all he needed. He started to furiously rub her slit, making her moan loudly. She was panting by the time he ventured in, and had to bite down on her wing to keep from yelling.
After some time, Mirage started to feel the almost unbearable pleasure that meant that she was close. Through whimpers, she managed to say, “PB, I’m gonna come!”
Hearing that, PB began to vigorously rub her clit. Mirage cried out as she came, her wings erect and flapping. It was a miracle she didn’t take off.
Finally, she was spent, and she collapsed in a heap into PB’s arms. “Thank you,” she breathed.
They cuddled for some time before Mirage broke the silence. “I feel bad,” she said.
“For what?”
“For forgetting our anniversary.”
“Oh, don’t worry about it, babe. It’s fine.”
“No, it’s not.” She sat up. “Here you are, making me feel good, while you are clearly in need of relief-” she gestured to PB’s erection that he was trying to hide “-and I feel responsible! I feel I owe you.”
“Hon, you don’t owe me anything, it’s fine,” PB said, hiding his throbbing penis under the blanket.
“No!” Mirage grabbed the blanket and threw it off. “I HAVE too! I’ll regret it otherwise!” She grabbed his shaft with her eagle talon and started to jerk him off.
“What are you-” His response was cut short as he cried out with pleasure. The sensation was nothing like he ever felt before. He had never dated anyone with fingers or claws, so this was entirely new to him. The feeling of her grabbing his shaft with her talon was almost overwhelming, but he tried to hold off. He wanted to see what would come next.
After a minute or two, precum started to ooze out PB’s tip. Mirage saw this and took it as opportunity to place her mouth over the tip, swallowing the liquid. PB gasped when her wet lips made contact with his cock, and moaned with ecstasy when she licked his length from the base up.
Mirage, although she wouldn’t admit it, was actually enjoying herself. She’d never given anyone head, or dated anyone before PB for that matter, so her technique was a bit sloppy. That didn’t seem to bother PB, though. He seemed to be to be on Cloud Nine, or close at least, and the expression of pure bliss on his face made Mirage feel good on the inside, knowing she would be able to pay him back for forgetting their anniversary.
She continued to lick his shaft, occasionally putting it in her mouth and making swirling motions with her tongue. Soon PB felt like he was just on the edge, but he tried to hold off as long as he could. He wanted this to last as long as possible, and he wanted to see what else Mirage had in store for him.
Mirage knew he was close when his cock started to twitch, so she gave it one last lick and stopped. PB opened his eyes in surprise. “Why’d you stop?” he asked.
Mirage blushed. An image just came to mind, something she’d always wanted but never had someone to share it with.
“Um, well…” she stammered. “I’ve… wanted to do this for a long time now… I just wanted to do it with someone I truly love… and someone that truly loves me… and…” She trailed off.
PB raised an eyebrow. He obviously knew what she was talking about. Mirage chuckled nervously. “It’s just… I’d feel bad… my first time with someone I don’t really love. Like, I do care about you,” she said hastily. “Like, a lot. As in, like, a really, REALLY close friend. But… I guess you knew that already.” She looked down, cringing at her own words. “I just…”
“I know what you mean.” PB sat up and lifted her chin up with a hoof. He looked at her in her different colored eyes. “And if you want, we don’t have to continue. We can break up now, if that’s what you’d like. All I really want for you is to be happy.” He smiled sadly.
Mirage gazed into those bright green eyes. No, no, she couldn’t just leave him hanging like this. No, she genuinely wanted to continue. And it wasn’t because of her own sexual frustration. She wanted him to feel good, too.
For a second, she thought she saw a glimmer of hope in his eyes. He wanted to continue, too. That settled it.
“We’re not breaking up anytime soon,” Mirage said softly. She kissed with passion, something she hadn’t felt before. PB wasn’t ready for this answer, and her kiss caused him to fall back onto the bed.
Mirage’s slit grazed PB’s still erect penis, and a wave of pleasure went through her. She needed this. They both did.
Finally breaking the kiss, she looked into his bewildered eyes and smirked. “Wasn’t expecting this, were ya?” she said, giggling.
Looking back, Mirage could tell about how much distance there was between them. Something in her brain urged her to close the distance, while something else caused her to hesitate. Was she really doing this?
One look at PB’s facial expression confirmed her answer. She sat down directly on top of the throbbing shaft, plunging it deep inside her.
Both of them let out loud moans of pleasure. Mirage started to bob up and down, slowly at first, then gradually getting faster, while PB had hid hooves on her hips, keeping her steady. Her red scaly snake tail was wrapped around one of his hind legs, and her wings were stiff and erect and leaving feathers everywhere. Both of their eyes were closed, and both were panting from the ecstasy.
Eventually, Mirage could feel the pressure building up, and, by the way PB had started to rapidly thrust into her, she could tell he was close too. In between thrusts, he said, “I’m close! Should we stop?”
“Come inside,” she breathed in between pants. “I don’t care.”
At that, PB started to thrust even harder, determined to reach her deepest places. Finally, he came deep inside, coating her inner walls with his seed.
A few seconds later, she came too, making a bigger mess on the bed than there already was. She collapsed on top of him, kissing his cheek and whispering, “Happy anniversary, babe,” before drifting off.
They lay like that for a while, PB with his softening cock still inside her, Mirage draped over him, half asleep. After maybe ten minutes, they separated themselves, and cuddled, staring up at the ceiling. PB’s arm was pinning Mirage close to him, and pinning her wing against her body at an odd angle. At some point it started to ache, but she barely noticed. She was too busy thinking about her feelings for PB and what they had just did.
After a while, she decided it was time. “I love you,” she said softly.
PB’s ears perked up, and he turned to look at her. “What?”
“I said I love you.”
“But…”
“Shh,” Mirage pressed her lion paw to his mouth to keep him from talking. “I really mean it, PB. I’ve thought about it, and I think it’s the most accurate way to describe my feelings for you. I’ve loved you for a while now, I guess I was just too proud or ignorant to recognise it.” She sighed. “I hope that doesn’t change your feelings about me.”
“What? Why would it?” He turned to face her. “I love you too, Mirage. No matter how you feel about me, I will always love you. With all my heart.”
Mirage smiled. “Pinkie Promise?”
He grinned. “Pinkie Promise.”
“And you better keep that promise, or I’LL COME FOR YOU!” said a squeaky high-pitched from under the bed.
Pinkie Pie crawled out from under PB’s bed and stood in the middle of the room, looking extremely pleased with herself.
The couple yelped with surprise. “Ah, Mom! What the fuck?! How long have you been there?!” PB yelled, blushed furiously. “How much did you see?!”
Pinkie giggled. “Oh, don’t worry, I didn’t see too much!” She trotted over to the window and opened it. “But when you come visit us on Sunday, be sure to tell us all about it!” She jumped out the window.
Mirage and PB rushed over to the window, but Pinkie Pie had vanished. “Well, that just happened,” PB said.
They stood at the window, still blushing from their experience and Pinkie’s intrusion. After a while, PB turned to Mirage and said, “So, you want to go downstairs and get some donuts, or…?”
Mirage smiled. She looked into his eyes lovingly and planted a small kiss on his mouth. “Yes, that would nice.”
