Mike Vilmont's family died on his 22nd birthday. Having left the house despite it being left to him in their will, he now lives with his aunt and uncle, too afraid to return to the house and face the memory of his dead parents and brother. The only time he sees his parents is at their funeral. The day after the procession, he finally decides to pay his house a visit, even sleeping in his old room for old time's sake.
