Halo Reach; Flickering Stars
[Everfree Forest, Outskirts; fifteen years after the Fall Of Reach]
"Ugh, I feel like shit... Wait, how am I alive!?" I sprang up to feel the hard, cold comfort of my helmet on my head. My CSTM ODST Spartan III armor tight, yet snug on my body. Which was wierd because my chest was too small for the extra plating, and yet I could feel my chest has grown?
I could feel my head was numb, as if something had itself comfterble on top of my forehead. Then pain, "Ahhsss, that hurts. Why does it feel as if my head was hit by ten brutes at the same time?" I took my time to settle down. When I tried to walk to a rock, I triped and fell on my hands for support. My feet were gone? The hell is happening to me?
I doled over and looked into the HUD of my armor. "Voice command Siera, Charly, Foxtrot, Juliet, five, three, nine. Activate."
/Medical autopsy active. Scanning...\
/Overall bone structure... Inhuman.\
"Holy fuck, that explains a lot. But, what am I now?"
/Scanning... acquired new data.\
/Body was slowly transformed in a fifteen year time lapse in stasis to an anthropromorphic equine.\
"Fifteen years? Jesus, no way in hell did Reach teraform in a fifteen year cycle. I must have been teleported to a completely different planet. And I build my stuff to last. So my armor is accurate."
/New appendage. Medium mass of bone and cartladge on correction of head. Description; horn.\
"Wait, I'm a fucking unicorn? Holy shit."
/Unknown energy cycling through body. Energy condenses primarily on the horn, hands, and hooves.\
"So that's why I can't walk right and my head hurts like hell."
/Body armor changed by same energy source, compensates for new hooves and horn.\
I reached for my new horn... yup, I'm a mother fucking unicorn. Its about half a foot (comparing to my hand that I now have four fingers, not five)
"Alright, I know what I need to know. Cancel autopsy."

I slowly stood up, trying to compensate for the lack of toes. Once at full height, I practiced walking back and forth the huge tree and rock. I fell here and there but those failures were only helping me learn to walk on my new legs.
All of a sudden, I had the urge to run. Run like the wind. It was warm and I felt butterflies in my stomach. So to calm these urges. I got in marathon stance.
My yellow armor gleaned from the rays of sun that managed to escape the trees' grasp. And then, I pushed my new leggs so hard that I felt wind pushing against me. Despite the area being so thick with shrubbery, my armor's sensors picked up anything g in my wake, allowing me to dodge with expertise.

"HELP" came a voice that of a little girl due West of my position. I stopped and went towards the direction of the distress. I then heard signes of struggle. "Ugh, stay away! SOMEPONY HELP ME!!" I then came to a clearing to see a young, anthro pony girl and what seems to be a wolf made of wood.
"Someone called?" I stepped out of the shrubbery in open arms like a jock would in a taunting entrance. The wolf look towards me and whimpered, backing down. It made a one-eighty and ran, thought it bit more than it could chew.
I looked towards the girl in detail. She had a farmer's outfit with blue coveralls and a white teashirt, her fur was yellow with a red mane and tail tied with oversized pink ribbons. I started ,"You okay? That thing may come back with more. If we don't hurry, we'll be in trouble," she then spoke ,"Yeah, your right but. You're armor looks weird. Are you an alien?"
"Yes and no, now come on, we've got not much time."
"We should look for a cave, I'm pretty much lost because I got sidetracked by this." The girl reached behind her to grab something. This made me notice her thin, cloth strap around her shoulder and hip. Whatever it was she got sidetracked by, it looked heavy depicting that the bag was being undone from its stiched cloth.
She pulled the item out for me to see. It was rectangular in shape with a royal blue circle in the middle. It had clamps on the sides spessifficly made for my armor. "Hey kid, that thing you've got there is what's called a drop shield armor mod. I honestly have no clue how it got here and why, but it'll be useful for survival here." I said, gesturing to hand me the armor mod.
"Cool, what does a 'drop shield' do?" She asked curiously, while simultaneously giving me the mod.
"It drops a bubble shield that deflects a certain amount of damage before collapsing. While in the shield, wounds are also quickly healed."
Suddenly, I heard some rustling in the bushes behind us. "Oh shit, little girl, get on my back." I said as I crouched down.
"Oh my, one in armor. Don't fret for it is me, Zecora." A voice coming from the same direction of the rustling. "Zecora!" Said the little girl, as a figure poped from the bushes.
The figure was wielding a spear that looks to be coated in tree sap for some odd reason. She wore little clothing, only a loin cloth and bra. Another thing about her was the markings all around her body, they looked to be zebra stripes. Upon her head was a Mohawk.
"Zecora? Are you the one that looks after this little one?" I said, warily.
"Yes, I came across a gathering of timberwolves a bit back. They seemed ready to pounce on somepony's back."
"And you took them out with haste I could see." Noding toward her spear. It was an educated guess that tree sap was the life blood of a timberwolf.
"Yes, indeed. We should move up to my hut, a soldier is nothing without a weapon."
Now thinking about it, I will need a weapon if hostile forces like those timber wolves exist. But my previous life, what if the rest of Noble team had similar fates? I was the last to die, so everyone except Jun should be here if that's the case. They were like family to me, it'd be cruel to not see them again. But I can't rely on the possibility though.
"Alright, let's go."
