A Rare Couple

It was a cold winter evening. Additionally, snowflakes slowly flurried like a swarm of white parasprites. Furthermore, a light breeze that will chill any creature to their bones. Finàlly, there was a thin layer of snow on the ground. Rarity and Spike came to the outskirts of Ponyville to search any gems, which blew from the diamond dogs’ caves. The white unicorn cast her gem finding in front of her. After it hit on the ground, it revealed some of the various gems under the smudge.

“I got a few gems here. Our cart is mostly full of gems. We need a few big piles of gemstones, honey,” Rarity exclaimed excitedly with a huge smile while moving jewels out from the snow. Then the exotic mistress put them in their cart. Their wagon has garnets, rubies, opals, and other kinds of gemstones in it. Unfortunately, she turned her head toward Spike and saw him bend over in his power chair to reach a single diamond in the snow, which made the majority unicorn sad because she was afraid of him getting frostbite or sick. Her boyfriend didn’t understand his hoof-sntched gloves were temporary protection against the cold. The handicapped drake got the diamond and put on his lap.

“I appreciate you're trying to help me. However, I dislike when you're hurting yourself,” he came toward her and dropped it into her pouch.

“Sorry Rares,” I was lucky to spot that diamond in the snow. It reminded me of you, I wouldn’t miss it up,” Spike stated honestly with a growing grin as he stared into her sapphire eyes. Her heart skipped a beat because his kindness and his love of her knew no bounds.

“Thanks, sweetie, I got best coltfriend ever. You take a break and a nap in your custom-made carrier. I’ll find the rest of gemstones for filling out wagon up. Then we can go home for the night,” Rarity said with a sweet tone before she went to kiss him on his lips. The purple Drake gently to caress her cheeks with both of his claws. Then he returned her kiss and started a long intimately making out session. She was slow to unbuckle his powerchair’s seatbelt and levitated him with her magic. In a split second, she embraced his body with both of her forelegs. After a few moments of kissing each, Rarity was reluctant to break their precious moment. “We’ll do that, also cuddle each other in our bed, daring,”

Rarity put Spike into his holster and moved its hood over his head. Twilight specially ordered his holder so that he won’t be hurt by accidentally falling from her back. Also, she was over-protective over him.

“Thanks, sweetie, I'm going to hibernate like a bear cub. You’re too good for me,” he joked with a smile as he fell to sleep. His joke and endearment made her grin a little bit.

“I hope my Spikey-wikey have a good rest. Tomorrow is Hearth's Warming Eve; I have a diabolic plan for me. The sun is setting in the sky; I pray this enormous boulder has lots of jewels in it because it is probably to be the last one I check. Before, we go home,” the white unicorn hopefully thought to herself as she walked to the nearest rock to her. First, she pushed his chair's easy to carry transformation button with her magic. After a few seconds, it changed into a tiny box and fell to the ground. Next, she magically picked it up and put into her saddlebag. Lastly, she scanned the big rock with her spell to reveal a motherload of jewels inside it.

“THANKS, CELESTIA, I HIT A JACKPOT IN THIS BOULDER. This rock look familiar to same one, when my first gem tracking spell forcefully dragged me to it. This day is turning out a nostalgic memory.” Rarity exclaimed with an excited tone before giggling into his left foreleg’s hoof. After a few moments of admiring the stone, she aimed and cast a spell at it. The rock began to shake and cracked under an unknown force. Its cracks grew big enough to shatter it into lots of pieces like shattered glass. Its inner riches spilled into the snow. She was quick to engulf precious stone in her blazing green magic aura. Then she arranged them by their gem type. Finally, she put them in her wagon.

“I think we got enough of gems to complete my clients' orders. I’m going to going to make hot chocolate for us,” Rarity exclaimed with a graceful expression before hooking her up to the wagon. Then she went to her home in Ponyville for the night.

She finally made it to her house. The white unicorn stopped near her home's front entrance. Then she unhooked herself from her cart. Next, she went to her front door to unlock it. Her porch light sensed her and turned on.

“A beautiful night is it, Rarity?” the familiar female voice asked with a nervous tone that coming behind her.

“Blood Dawn, yes it is, why are you here?” Rarity questioned bitterly after she turned her head behind her to see a pair of heterochromia slitted eyes in the darkness.

“I have one question for you. Do you know where is Rainbow Dash’s house, because I want to apologize to Waylon and his marefriend for mistreating him? Also, I want to share him with her. Be honest with you, I love him and quit my job because my manager was forcing me to maltreat Way,” Blood Dawn exclaimed with an honest tone in her voice as she about to cry.

“I’ll tell you where her home is. I’ll pray for they’ll forgive and create a herd with you. You just need to say to them the same thing that you just told me now,” the white mistress stated truly with a single small tear ran down her face. After Rarity wiped it off her face, she told Dawn the directions to Rainbow's cloud mansion. Then they changed their farewells each other. She went inside of her store/house. Next, she turned on her ceiling lights to see, so not slipped on anything. She went back outside to chain up her cart to one of the building's support beam. Also, the beautiful unicorn grabbed her and Spike’s hard earning gems with her magic. Lastly, she returned to the inside of her home. She shut and locked her front entrance for the night.

She moved her jewels’ storeroom’s door and unbolted it with her magic. She paid extra bits to get this enchanted entry that only unlocked with her magic. Because of some kinds of precious stones worthed lots of money. Rarity came the inside of her gem storage and put the jewels into their appropriate storage chests. She went out the room and locked its door behind her.

“Unfortunately, it’s too late for hot chocolate, tonight. I’ll make it in the morning with Spike’s Hearth Warming Eve gift,” Rarity thought with a growing mischievous smirk on her face while moving to the wooden staircase. Before she turned off her shop’s lights, she luminesced her horn to see in the dark. Then she climbed the stairs and went to their bedroom’s entrance. Then she opened it and came the inside of the bedroom. After she was quiet to close the door, the white mistress moved toward their bed. Next, she removed its covers to place her sweetie in it. Unfortunately, this act accidentally woke up Spike.

“Rares, where are we at?” Spike asked tiredly with a huge yawn as the young dragon rubbed his eyes with his right arm.

“We’re at our home. You napped the whole trip back our house,” Rarity exclaimed sweety with a lovely smile while removing his winter clothing from his body. She wiped off her blue eyeliner with her makeup removal rag. She undressed and magically hung their winter clothing in their closet.

“It is too cold for me, and my hibernation instinct is acting up. Please, can you cuddle me tightly? He begged softly with a pleading expression while reaching one of his arms toward her.

“Oh, Spikey-wikey, I will and embrace you super tight, because I love you so much!” she stated passionately with a big smile on her face, before getting in their bed with him. Then she curled her body around his body and embraced him with both of her forelegs tightly. He cuddled more into her warm silky chest fluff.

“Thank honey,” he thanked with a soft tone before falling into a deep somber. After a few seconds of smiling, Rarity went to sleep beside her sleeping sweetheart.
