“I’ve always been told a nightclub is just like one of my parties, but I’ve never actually been to one before!”
“Well I can imagine it can’t even compare” you say to your best friend in all of Equestria. You consider Pinkie Pie to be more of a sister, really. But hang on, you find yourself thinking, If Pinkie is like my sister, taking her to a night club is-
Your thoughts are interrupted as Pinkie runs high-energy circles around, well, everything. “OHMIGOSHTHISISGONNABESOFUNICAN’TWAIT!” ...Pinkie is super hypo in this story…wow…
“Calm down!” you tell her “I’m sure it’s not all it’s cracked up to be!”
*Gasp!* “Are you saying it won’t be super-amazing-awesome-ultra fun!?” Pinkie Exclaims,
“Well, I…no?” Great, you think, She got me again
~Later that night~
You spin around again, letting yourself do whatever the buck you want, and turn to see Pinkie, performing her usual, hyperactive dance moves. You smile to yourself as you let yourself be carried away by the music, and then, you see ‘Her’.
The beauty, the style, and the music she makes. You feel as if it’s love at first sight, and you just stop dead. For a brief moment your eyes meet, well, you guess they do, you can’t see through her opaque, violet sunglasses.
“What’s up?” says Pinkie, who is somehow right next to you, while still over on the dance floor. Yes, she is that badass.
“Hm? Oh, nothing much. I guess I just fell in love…………with the music! I mean…”
“Uuuuuhhhh, okaaaaay then…” Pinkie returns to her normal (if it can be called that), hyper self.
After the music dies down, and everybody’s either passed out from all the alcohol or tired out from all the dancing, you go up to the DJ. You aren’t quite sure what it is about her, but you feel as though you have a special connection. Unfortunately for you, the DJ happens to be asleep on her turntables. Disappointed, but not defeated, you find a relatively nice, relatively clean spot to lay down your sleepy head, and let the sweet fingers of rest caress you (you go to sleep, jackass).
You awaken to see the same petite pink haired party princess you see every time you have any potentially problematic party issues (gotcha!).
“Well hey there sleepy head!” says the energetic young lady “Nice to see you somewhat conscious again!”
“goormf munr e nu ngee” you somehow manage to mumble to Pinkie, in your almost half awake state “nigh to see you uuhh”
You manage to pull your tired, lazy ass off the floor and give Pinkie a big good morning hug.
Once again, you try your hand at this amazing thing called talking;
“Where are we?” you ask dimwittedly, looking around the once raving club, now a deserted warehouse.
You look around, not seeing any signs of the once energetic night club.
"Wow, they sure do clear out fast" you say, as you fumble around looking for your wallet. "Apparently they also clear out with your wallet..."
"Oh right!" Pinkie exclaims "I hid your wallet when I woke up because I thought to myself that it'd be very irresponsible and totally dumb of me if I just let them take your wallet so I hid your wallet when I woke up becau-"
You clasp your hand over Pinkie's mouth in an attempt to prevent her from melting your brain with circular logic. Very carefully, you take your hand away from her mouth, making sure she had calmed down.
"Oh! and there was a not in it too! I think you have a secret admireeeer~" She said teasingly.
"You went through my wallet? ...wait, a note? secret admirer?"
"Well duh! that is what I just said!"
All of a sudden you find yourself even more desperate to find your wallet. A secret admirer? Who could it be? Better yet, how could that be!? How!?
Eventually you find your wallet (damn that Pinkie and her spontaneous treasure hunts) and read the note to yourself.
"Hey, I saw you looking at me last night, and I couldn't help but look at you. If only you had stayed awake a while longer...

[Yes, I know it's an abominable piece of crap! give me a break! I have a monolithic mountain of crap to do!]
Ever since you read her note, you've been looking everywhere for Vinyl. Unfortunately for you, every place in Ponyville seems not to know her or where you might find her. You've tried pubs, cafes, bars, clubs, restaurants, eateries, steak houses (you're human, deal with it bro) and even the odd fashion show. But to no avail. She seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet.
That is, until you happen across a poster for a live concert in Canterlot, featuring none other than...
Octavia. Oh, and Vinyl too. The next week you find yourself in a mile long line, waiting for a ticket to the concert. After about 6 hours (yeah, it was a damn long line) you finally get a ticket, in fact, you get the last ticket.

After the concert, you wait outside the back stage entrance in deep thought (don't ask me, you're the one thinking!).
So deep, that you don't notice when Vinyl notices you, and walks up to say hi. So, so incredibly deep in thought that you don't even notice when Vinyl pokes you in the forehead quizzically. But no so deep that you aren't snapped out of it with a firm slap. Gentle, yet firm.
"ohmigosh! are you alright?"

"I hope I didn't slap you too hard..."
dat amazing voice
"Uh...hello?"
"Oh! um, sorry, I was thinki-"
You lose all sense of intelligible speech when you realise who you're talking to.
"Thinking of what, hmmmm?"
"Uh..." You start blushing. alot. "I...Uh...Nothing!"
Your face has a striking resemblance to a tomato.
"It doesn't seem like nothing"
"Well..I..Uh..."
Well done, you're now being encroached upon by Vinyl, conveniently for her there's a corner behind you.
"No really! It was nothing at all!"
A sweat bead starts to form upon thy brow, not going unnoticed by Vinyl.
She giggles (yeah, her giggle is adorable) and says "Were you thinking about me?"
Your face is now redder than ever, and being backed up into a corner by the girl of your dreams? Not helping. All of a sudden you feel something wrap around your body. Vinyl is hugging you. You were unprepared for this. You look down and see that Vinyl is blushing lightly.
"Were you really thinking about me?"
"Well...yeah, but it's only beca-"
Well this was unexpected, even moreso than the hug. Vinyl had just kissed you. not a super deep and passionate kiss, more of a shy peck on the lips. Either way it's still enough to nearly make you faint. In fact, for comedic purposes, you do faint. Ha. Take that.
~Dream Sequence (woo!)~
You blink awake, lying in bed next to Vinyl (fully clothed, this aint no clopfic...yet ;) ). She's still asleep, so you decide to get up and make breakfast in bed. You walk down into the kitchen and look over at the calendar, Mother's Day. Shit. You forgot to get Vinyl a present, so you hope she'll take the breakfast in bed and be happy with it.
