A lavender unicorn with wings looks around her library, located in the small town of Ponyville,
“Oh Sweet Celestia, we have to get this done quickly or Equestria could be doomed for good”she says to herself as she paces back and forth to try and maintain composure and failing. “What’s so bad that it has you this worked up, Twilight?” a small purple, male dragon inquires of the unicorn. This purple dragon however has a green underbelly and walks on two legs it has fin-like ears and human-like hands and is not the stereotypical form you think when you hear someone say dragon. He has a book in his grasp which he’s holding to his right side.
“Good, Spike. Now let me see that book.” Twilight said relieved, “And to answer your question, I’m worried for the safety of our kingdom. I don’t exactly know what it is, but it’s got Celestia let me reword that Princess Celestia, spooked. So she wants me to predict the exact moment when this unknown danger will appear.” “Crystals and the Power of Color? Why do you have this book again?” Spike says with an odd ‘I do not remember this book’ look on his face, “and more importantly, what exactly do you need it for anyway?”. “I needed to remember what color pattern I need for this spell I’m about to do. I don’t want this to blow up in my face because of how powerful the spell is.” Twilight explained- avoiding his second to the last question.
As Spike gives the book to Twilight, she realizes once again how old the book really is. She then begins to flip through the book using magic to move the pages and keep the book steady in front of her. Once she found the page she was looking for, she began memorizing the words on the page.
(a) “That’s one old book Twilight, I hope you’re not missing any parts of the spell?” Spike says as dust fills the air. “I think I have it, but I need to work quickly,” Twilight replies as she starts preparing for the spell. “Oh, that reminds me: where is Rarity right now? She was supposed to be here about an hour ago. We were supposed to have lunch together.
Somewhere in Ponyville Time: 1:05 PM PDT
“So many dresses but the bits are going to be worth it” Rarity says as she finishes making like six thousand dresses and looks at the clock. “OH MY GOSH, I’m late! I need to get to Twilight’s library in her castle immediately!” She says as she hastily but safely puts down her needle and starts heading out the door and into a gallop down the main road to the castle.(b)
As she approached it, her pace slowed to a casual walking speed. When she got to the door of the castle, she kicked it three times with her front hoof. “It sounds like she just got here, I’ll go let her in” Spike could be heard saying as he started heading for the door. When he saw her, he proceeded to bring her to Twilight.
“My bad Twilight, darling. I got another order from Canterlot and you know how I get with an order sometimes. This one was from Princess Luna. Six thousand dresses... Looks like she is changing her selection again.” Rarity tells Twilight in apology. “Oh, my… I can understand what took you so long, now. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again, though. But your timing couldn’t have been better. I was about to perform a spell. You’re free to observe if you like.” Twilight says to Rarity. “Please, Come in!” She adds, seeing Rarity hasn’t moved since Spike brought her.
“This must be some spell if you have this seal ready as well, but I’ve not known you to use them. What changed?” Rarity inquired as she looked around the room. “Well, if you really want to know, I’ll tell you. *huff* I’m trying to predict the exact time that this… unknown evil... Appears -and it WILL no doubt appear.” Twilight informs her.
“And to add to it, word is that Princess Celestia has not been seen outside of her room in weeks” Spike added.
“Well, let’s get this show on the road, This unknown evil will not show itself to us until the attack.” Twilight says excitedly as she goes to stand in the middle of the spell circle with Rarity following close behind stopping directly on the edge of the circle.
From a bird’s eye view, it’s a circle about 10 feet from one side to the other with a star inside it. But this star had a pentagon in the center and five differently colored crystals on the points- thus forming the star. Twilight is in the center of the circle holding the same 5 crystals plus a green one for herself in her magic.
“Ready?” Twilight asks. A nod from Spike and Rarity was her reply.
“Oh magic of time, show me the prior. On that which may be our future, may it no longer trouble us. Let us see how it happened and stop it again. For now and forever, may this spell remain. Let the pure and myself be the only affected with the sight of the future and all be protected. As the incarnation comes to an end, I will need this to happen the instant it’s said.”
As Twilight casts the spell, the one of the crystals begins to glow with a bright light(Purple).

Just so you know my editor asks to not be named so I changed there name to what you see,
in case you didn’t know or your asking why magic is even questioned, in Equestria, and more to it, Ponyville, unicorns and pegasi -and air unicorns for that matter- can use magic. But only a unicorn and it’s air counterparts can use magic as we know it. the other races have some control of it, but it’s not as fine tuned.

Chapter 1 - Enter the Raiders? (Edit version 1)
Chapter 1: Enter the RaidersWorld of the Lego Rock Raiders Time: 3:08 PM PDT Cavern 10 Rock Raiders HQ
The room we next find is not that of the library but of a command center of some kind with some sort of monitor setup on one wall of the room and is about the size of the wall itself on the other side is what looks to be a human is walking around in the back of the room on a raised platform.
“Sir?” A digital female voice sounds. “What is it, computer?” the humanoid being asks, putting their hands on his desk in tension. “It seems a new power signal just landed back in cavern 1, sir. Second one today.” “RR-1 and RR-2, are you two listening?” he asks with a commanding voice.
“What’s going on Commander? We didn’t hear anything at all. We just got back from the mess hall.” say the two ‘mini-figures’. “Well then, RR-1 and RR-2, it seems the computer has another signature in cavern 1. You two are to go and check it out and report anything you find back to me” the commander orders. “Yes, sir!” was the automatic reply.
“I hope this is not a false alarm, again.” he thinks aloud to himself as the units follow his command. “You and me both Rob; you and me both. After that one power signature came down, I had a feeling another was not too far behind.” An odd looking scout says back. “I wasn’t talking to you Andrew, thanks for the vote of confidence and the reminder about Power Signal One” Rob snaps.
“Look, calm down, okay? I wanted to ask you if I can go on ahead to the location of the signal.” Andrew offered. “Calm down! We get two new signal after months of scanning and you’re asking me to cool it? ....You know what having a scout out there may be a good idea -seeing as both Raiders can’t see straight sometimes... Okey, Andrew, take the tube way. It’ll be faster.” Rob replies back as Andrew heads over to a chute in the side of a wall.
“Did you mean to be that hard on him?” The computer asks curiously. “How so?” “Well you did yell that first part.” “...You have a point there, Computer.” “It’s part of my mission, sir.” “That it is, Computer. I just wish you weren’t so good at it...” Rob says dismally.
Chapter 2: Into the CavernsCavern 1 Time: 3:11 PM PDT
“Seems to me that the Computer must be seeing things again. I’ve got nothing on the scans.” RR-1 says to RR-2 as both look around the Cavern. “Did the two of you not think to scan around the hole that’s about 6 miles north of here.” Andrew asks them as he comes into view. “What the!, How did you get here faster than us again? You HAVE to be a ninja or something! There’s no other explanation!” RR-2 says back as RR-1 starts heading north. “Don’t think about it too much, RR-2. Andrew is just being himself. And so far, the boys at R&D can’t make heads or tails of it.” RR-1 says casually. “So it’s just Andrew being Andrew?” RR-2 asks back. “Yep, that’s the idea.”
Cavern 1 Crater Time: 3:23 PM PDT
When Twilight opened her eyes some time later, it was very dark and damp. All she could see was a yellow flame glimmering in the distance and the vague shape of the dripping water. As she gets back up on her hooves, she gets startled as she feels something on her front left hoof slides into place on her ankle. Freaking out about the thing on her leg she did not see the fact that she was 3 feet deep in a crater or that she is the trimmer for it.
“Ahh, what’s that on my leg!?” Twilight yells out. “Well sorry for that miss, but it seems we will be with one another for some time, as I can’t seem to unlock at the moment” It replied with a beep as it turned on. “What… it can... Talk?” Twilight said, unsure.
“Yeah I can talk. I take it you’ve never seen a bracelet commander before? I’m called Brace! By the way” it sounded. It seemed to have the appearance of a rectangular plate with the letters R A I D E R printed vertically on along the top.And what does RAIDER stand for? ” she wondered.
“Audio mics are all over me, so I can hear and follow any command given to me. And due to the fact I can’t unlock right now you’re my Commander for the time being. A-” before Brace could finish, Twilight interrupted. “But what does that mean?” She asked. “Well, I was getting to that! A bracelet commander is exactly what it sounds like: it’s a piece of technology that a commander like yourself can call upon for guidance or utilities. A commander is someone who commands a group of individuals, like you would expect, to complete special tasks. Normally, a commander would require some skill in leadership, but seeing as you seem to have ‘royal’ attributes, you should fit the bill. Of course, I don’t really know you on a personal level, so I can’t be sure if we’ll be staying this way after I’m free to unlock.” as Brace is talking, there’s the faint sound of footsteps in the distance.
“Guess you’re not from around here, huh?” Brace asks. “Yes, I guess that’s one way to put it. I was working on a spell then woke up here with you on my leg.” Twilight replies. “It’s very interesting how I ended up here, though. Although you yourself aren’t exactly comprehensive.” “Maybe the spell you cast messed up somehow and sent you here in the process. But then again why cast a spell like that in the first place?” Brace said. “Well no one else’s going to hear this anyways, so... I was essentially trying to find the exact time this unknown power that had affected my teacher, would be at its beginning stages so that I could prevent it from affecting all my friends… and hopefully free my teacher from it as well. “I take it you have not seen or heard from from your teacher, since then?” Brace asked. “I saw. I didn’t hear however…” “Seeing but not hearing? That can only be one thing. The WRM has been activated for your world.” Brace darkly tells her. “WRM I have to ask about what or who that is at a later date?” Twilight thinks to herself
“So you’re some kind of Command system and the pony your locked with is your commander?” Twilight asks Brace after a long pause as she looks over his settings, oblivious to the footsteps from earlier, which had resumed once she started talking. “That’s the gist of it Twilight.” Brace replies.
“Seems you have some powerful Runes on you if some of your settings are right” Twilight says to him. “Wait, how’d you know my name? I never even told you it.” Twilight said, careful to let Brace finish talking. “I’m programmed to read your data, although only to an extent. You called yourself a pony earlier. That term sounds familiar somehow.” Brace says looking for more information on Twilight. “That’s correct.” Twilight says before a pain in her neck causes her to suddenly become sleepy. “Nighty night.” Twilight says before she hits the ground with her legs flopping out to her side. “This isn’t good. I should go to sleep mode to hide my activation.” Brace thought.

chapter 2 - The Awakening

I know I am a bit late in getting this out but I was trying to find another 250 words so I can make the 1K word limit set by the site, By the time you see this I will have found said words. there is something coming in the next chapter and I will hate to spoil it. Note: this is a starting draft, if anyone finds anything that needs clearing up or editing PM me the part in question and I will change it. Yes I know it's a wall of text like I said starting draft.
chapter 2 - The Awakening
Rock Raiders HQ cell block A Time: 4:13 PM PDT
The cell was a faint blue light in the shape of a cube and would likely be called a force-field. The pony in question was laying down, still asleep from the tranquilizer dart.
“RR-5 how's this power signature doing” Rob asks as he comes in. “RR-2 did a number on her nerve data with that tranquilizer dart. She’ll be out for quite some time” what can only be assumed by the number on its back RR-5 told Rob. "Can you get her up then?” he asked looking at the ‘pony’ in question.
“Not without risking major damage to her brain and memory centers, sir.” RR-5 answered.
“How bad will the damage be?” Rob asked her.
“I don’t know how bad at this time but I think at best a year of memory or more” RR-5 informs him.
“What time is it…? Sweet Celestia, My head... what hit me?” Twilight asksI don’t know what did it but I have a good idea where we are. ” Brace sounds, using Twilight's nerves as a link.
“What do you mean Brace? ” Twilight asks in a hushed tone over that same link.
“It’s a group called the Rock Raiders. I am one part of a two part technology powerhouse -not that I can remember what the other part is- that they had asked for so that any of the Commanders will have more room for tools and other parts you need to work on this planet. And no-one will hear us while we use this link. ” Brace explains.
"So, your telling me this link is like private" Twilight asks
"Yes, as my system is using your own nerves for the link" Brace says.
"And your telling me this now, why" Twilight inquirers.
"What...It took me a bit to understand your nerves. Your cells started to block me and I had to do some chatting."
"Well when you put it that way...Brace it seems we are not alone."
"The Raiders?"
"Two of them one seems to be more...advance then the other"
"Why do you say that"
"Well for one he's 3D like I am"
"So"
"the other looks like a kind of living plastic."
"you got me there."
“Looks like she’s up and ready to chat Rob” One of them says as he spots Twilight.
“Thank you for the obvious there Andrew.” Rob adds sarcastically. As they both slowly approach her, Twilight starts to feel nervous.
“What do you want with me!” Twilight demands weakly.
“Keep your cool. You don’t want to upset them when you’re clearly in no position to cause trouble. ” Twilight could hear Brace saying through the neural link they now apparently shared.
“You’re right. You know better than I do what to do in this situation. ” Twilight said with a hint of surrender in her tone.
“Sadly I am just as new to this as you are. ” Brace says.
“Then how did you know- ” but Twilight was cut off mid-sentence when Brace says ”I found out upon creation, okay! I was pre-loaded with the Intel already .”
“Okay then, I’m on my own with this it would seem. ”
Twilight was taken back to reality when she heard one of them Rob was it? say something.
“Looks like the darts had a bigger impact than RR-2 first intended, because she’s not even saying anything.”
“Then we should leave her for the time being.” RR-5 said as she came into the room, having overheard Rob’s statement.
“This medical data from what I can tell is female but has something off about it. I can’t say for sure what- or how it’s even possible” RR-5 says.
“Is she talking about me? ” Twilight wondered as she realized she had been talking with Brace for longer than anticipated.
“She is, Twilight. ” Brace replied using the mental link.
”You’ve got mail.” sounds from Brace, “okay, that was new ” he says.
“That has never happened before, right? ” Twilight asks.
“No. Never. ” Brace replies.
“I see you’re more alert now. I am RR-5, or as most have on file, Rock Raider number 5. You should probably check that by the way. It might be important.” the female Rock Raider said.
“RR-5, you know not to look into other people’s business. But then again you have a point” Andrew adds.
“Um, okay.” Twilight says, realizing those were the first words she had said to them since she fully awoke and got her mind back to it (Seems her brain needed some time to ‘reboot’).
“Well at least you speak the same language as us.” Rob says.
“Seems me calling RR-99 was a bit presumptuous of me.” Andrew says scratching his head nervously and then sending a ‘false alarm’ notice to the raider in question.
“I’m trying to read this.” Twilight says impatiently.
“The boys are like this. Sometimes I have to remind them to check around them before chatting like this.” RR-5 says apologetically.
"how can you tell one another apart" Twilight asks as the message is loaded onto Brace's screen.
"I take it the message is not coming in" RR-5 says to her, thinking of a reply to her question.
"It is, just a large size" the pony replies.
"Back to your question it's mostly hair mine is long but Rob is short and how we act plus my main...part is a bit more refine then Rob over there but not as done as Andrew he's not that hard to spot."
"I see that he's 3D like I am."
"Ya, but we can't say he's not a raider he's got a letter from RR-Z"
"Who's that"
"He's the leader of the Raider program, they say he's the first of us to come to this planet and fight the big King in the center of the planet."
"So if he's so great why is he not here now"
"He and Rock-1 his Flagship base are...well missing"
"Did you send out a scout team to find him"
"well....here's the thing. We are the scout team. Our Mission here is to find RR-Z and see if there is anything that can show he's beat King Rock"
"Twilight, sorry to interrupt but the message is loaded."
"Thanks Brace, can you send it to my eyes"
"I can twilight.....give me a sec it's like your nerves."
"Oh, Let me"

Chapter 3 - the letter and a puzzle?
Twilight, My most faithful Student if you have found this letter then you have opened or soon will open a box- one that I promised to never have open again-. Still, however you have come to find it, is not important, I guess I have to start at the beginning. You and everypony in Equestria had been part of a project that was closed due to a ‘bug’ in the program. The Bracelet Commander program as it was called is part of the Defense Initiative Project or D.I.P. I know funny, I did not think of it like that at the time and it just stuck. It’s mission was to give a pony called a ‘Commander’ the power to connect and control the ponies that are under his or her command. This letter was part of a set to be sent when a Commander has found a Bracelet Commander and has an interface in range. If that is your case, then you must act fast. For if anyone connects to the interface will gain everything the interface unit owns, And I mean everything. That was not the idea at first, mind you. My magic users that I put in the program made that clear to me and to others when I got word of a bug in the ‘magic’ that runs the Bracelet Commanders. This letter was made to be the start of a set of them that will find you when you have unlocked a new power and help you understand/use the Bracelet Commander. I had hoped you never find this letter or the interfaces, It’s a mistake I hold to this day. The first ability of the Bracelet Commander is being able to scan for and connect to the Interfaces that have been ‘installed’ inside every pony, most will stay in hiding unless you know the pony it’s ‘installed’ in and i mean well, like say a friend or family member not your Brother or his wife both of them are the same rank as you so don’t even try it. Both of them did not live back when the program was started but he was the one that helped send it all to space. By now you may have found the scan rune. Use it to activate the first ability of the Commander. I myself had a Commander as well but I had to send it and all the other units to outer space with the help from your Brother after a Commander tried and was able to use it to further Command his wife and daughter with another daughter on the way. I hope you never find out about this, Princess Celestia. “What in pony?” Twilight says.
“what’s in the letter” Andrew asks concerned.
“I just found out my teacher had some idea what this thing is despite the fact my world is not as advanced as this one.” said Twilight.
“Well we need to know your name for one thing.” Andrew said with a laugh.
“Not. Helping.” Rob said through clenched teeth.
“Oh! That’s easy, my name’s Twilight Sparkle.” She said, face brightening- that is, until she remembered she was trapped in a force-field.
Rob could only laugh at how fast she replied to the question and that sickened Twilight to no end.
“Wings and a horn and named Twilight Sparkle, hm... Oh Snap! Rob, you may want to stop doing that considering she’s apparently pretty important.” Andrew adds as the info clicks.
“HOO BOY, that was… sorry. Sorry about that. You say she’s important? How so?” Rob says, already considering ways to use her to his advantage.
“She’s Twilight Sparkle, The Princess of Friendship. She’s big news back over in the Poni sector.” Andrew informs him.
“So what does this mean she’s capable of? Any special powers that we might be able to extract and eventually use on our troops?”
“Her species has some sort of magic, but without a field of some kind to pull from, she’s got nothing of use to us. Plus I think it’s something about her data and the world that will allow her to be of use I am sensing the area around her is being energized but I can’t tell how.” comes a voice from Andrew’s sleeve.
“Brace, not helping!” Andrew says in hushed tones to a bracelet similar to the one on Twilight’s hoof- with a few extra details, “I don’t want him to kill her out of power hunger. Even if she can’t do anything right now, he’ll try to get what he wants one way or another.”
“I’ve got to get out of this… ” thought Twilight.
“HEY! I may be able to help you in some way, that is, if you help me as well.” Twilight says, not aiming it at anyone in particular.
“How so?” Rob asks intrigued.
“I... may be able to help organize your team and help with... whatever you need help with, I guess.” Twilight offers.
“You were saying, sir?” Andrew’s Brace says to his user.This is getting bad fast. I have got to find some way to turn this around.” Andrew told himself.
Somewhere in the HQ
“Looks like Power Signature One is still asleep and Power Signature Two is currently chatting with Rob and that scout from before. Why is the scout with Rob most of the time. He’s just a scout!” RR-1 says. “Yeah, and why did Rob have to know the time that the signal wakes up? I mean Power Signature 1 had like only one dart as well, but it's still asleep” RR-2 adds.
“Still, the idea that she can use ‘magic’ or some form of it’s something I for one would like to look into.” RR-2 says thoughtfully.
“Good luck getting anything out of Power Signature 1 and I don’t think Rob will let us interact with Power Signature 2 any time soon. Like I said before, whatever interface is with it will not allow us to connect to it.” RR-1 says, vaguely challenging RR-2 to work on it.
