As a lavender alicorn made her way down the dirt road, towards the carousel boutique to go and see Rarity about a trip to the Ponyville spa. “It sure is a nice day” she thought as she made her way to the building, but before she could get to the door she was knocked off balance by a rainbow blur, “Rainbow Dash!!” But the cyan Pegasus was already long gone, she sighed finally being able to reach the door. Before Twilight could knock it slammed into her muzzle as a little white filly rushed past not even noticing the lavender alicorn. She finally walked inside looking for her good friend. “Rarity!” Twilight called looking for her. “One moment darling i’m just finishing an ensemble,” she called from the other room. She made her way to the other room seeing her friend's ensemble. “Rarity it looks beautiful, how long did it take to make?” Twilight asked, looking from the dress to her friend. “Not all that long,I've just finished. Are you ready to go?” Rarity said. They were walking to the spa, it's not really a long walk. As they were nearly there they saw a chariot soared over their heads a compartment on the back rattling as it went. “What would a royal chariot be doing in ponyville?” she wondered as she watched it fly to the center of ponyville, they both galloped to the center of town to see what the commotion was about, when they arrived they saw Princess Luna standing next to two chariots one of them was empty while the other contained a statue. The statue had a lion’s paw and an eagles talon and it had a lizards leg and goats hoof it was not hard to tell who this creature was. “Sorry for the insult Luna but” she took in a lung full of air “WHY IN THE NAME OF CELESTIA WOULD YOU BRING DISCORD HERE!!!!?” “I do agree with Twilight, why would you bring that ruffian here?” Rarity asked worried. “We would like to speak to thou and thyne friends on a matter of utmost urgency” Luna stated. “Again, why did you bring Discord here after he tried turning Ponyville into the chaos capital of Equestria,” Twilight said looking at his encased form. “We cannot tell thou without thyne friends present” Luna said. “Then why didn’t you get us first silly!” Pinkie said popping out of nowhere. “Pinkie where you eavesdropping?” Twilight said, looking at Pinkie who wore a huge smile on her face. Just then a cyan pegasus flew down from a cloud which had a blanket on it. “Hey Twi, why's Princess Lu-?” Rainbow Dash sees the statue. “Why is he here!?” “Ah Rainbow Dash we see thou art as brash as ever” Luna said. “That doesn't answer my question why is Discord here!?” she asked half yelling not to be rude, but she wasn't happy to see the bringer of chaos. “As we said to Twilight we cannot tell thou without thyne friends” Luna replied calmly “we can see why thou would be agitated but thou must have patience” “Patience shmatience, I'm not that type of mare I'll be back in five seconds flat, then I can find out why you brought this-this thing!” She was in an irritated mood flying as fast as she could to get the others. 10 minutes later they had all made it back to the center of town, with another Pegasus flying close to Rainbow Dash “Rainbows I was just visiting my older sister, and here we are, you know what? We should do this more often,” the male Pegasus Said winking at Rainbow Dash, she groaned. “Zephyr we're on an important mission, not a casual flight got that!” “Rainbow why are you so cruel?” Zephyr said sarcastically dramatic, Rainbow just rolled her eyes the one day she needs Fluttershy for something important and her brothers there. “Flutters, I thought you were the element of kindness not annoying me,” Rainbow sighed, she was annoyed she had to bring him along “Well think of it has a bonding experience,” Fluttershy said, catching up to them. “Are we there yet my wings need some z's,” Zephyr said slowing down a tad. “Almost,” she saw Luna as they got closer, when they arrived Zephyr saw the statue of the chaotic being, he stared in horror, he then bolted flying almost faster than Rainbow Dash screaming like a foal. “Knew he’d wimp out” Rainbow Dash said. “Ha ah beat you take that Rainbow ah knew ah was faster than you” Applejack said. “No i totally beat you” Rainbow Dash said “No ah won” Applejack said “No i won!” Rainbow said “No a-” “ENOUGH” Luna yelled in her canterlot voice “this is no time for thyne petty quarrels” “Yeah you still haven’t told us why Discord's here” Rainbow said, getting a little annoyed. “We have brought them so thou and thyne friends may attempt to reform him,” said Luna looking at the six ponies. “What!!” said the six ponies in unison. “What’d I miss?” said a new voice. The ponies turned to face the purple drake with green spines. He looked at the statue and yawned, “I must be dreaming,” he started walking away back to the library. “We want thou to give them the same chance thou gave us” Luna stated. “So Luna if you want us to reform him how do we let him out? He’s solid as a rock,” Rainbow Dash said. “Thou and thyne friends will need the elements of harmony to release them,” Luna said, before the chariots took off into the air. “Spike can you get the elements!!!” She called. “Sure thing dream Twilight!!!” He called back before fading from view. They waited patiently for a small amount of time till they went back to the golden oak library, when they entered they saw Spike sleeping on the floor with a Rarity plushie in his claws. “Dawwww, where'd he get that?” Rarity asked, looking at Spike hugging it in his sleep. “I don't know, I didn't even know he had one,” Twilight said, looking at the sleeping drake, he started kissing the doll in his sleep not knowing anypony was there. The six ponies quietly trotted past the sleeping drake and walking towards a glass case that held a crown and five golden necklaces with a carved crystal embedded in each: a star, an apple, a butterfly, a balloon, a lightning bolt and a diamond. “Spike I'm sorry but I'm not letting this down,” Rainbow chuckled looking back to the sleeping drake still kissing the Rarity plushie. Twilight used her magic to lift the necklaces and place them around her five friend's necks, and levitated the crown on to her head. But just before Rainbows attached itself to her neck she took off. “Twilight I'll be back in a flash,” Rainbow Dash bolted through town with a smirk, “I'm so sorry Spike,” she thought to herself, as she started telling the whole town about Spike's secret. A few minutes later Rainbow returns with a smug smile. “What are you smiling about?” Twilight asked looking to the cyan Pegasus. “Nothing really just wanted to do a lap around Ponyville,” Rainbow Dash lied, but Applejack raised an eyebrow looking at her competitive friend. “Ahre ya sure?” Applejack questions eyebrow still raised. “It doesn't matter let's get this done, and hope he's not in the mood to spread chaos,” Rainbow said, she was sure this was a bad idea. They went back to the frozen draconequus, than the formed a circle around the statue. They started floating in midair, Twilight's eyes glowed white as a rainbow went around the circle towards the crown, than a rainbow cyclone flew around the statue. It started cracking as the draconequus emerged laughing as lightning struck behind him, then coughed…"MWAHAHAHAHA OWOWOWOWOW my back is killing me chaos’s despair“I mean did you really have to turn me to stone when i was in such an uncomfortable position?” Discord asked rhetorically. “You’re evil, we didn’t exactly have time to consider how comfortable you’d be,” Twilight said, looking to the draconequus with a look of annoyance. “Me evil? I've never done anything evil in all my existence,” Discord said dramatically. “Plus what did I do to be returned to my wretched prison, which I didn't deserve in the first place.” “You were destroying Ponyville,” Rainbow Dash retorted, glaring at the mismatched creature. “Destroying?” he said, looking confused. “I was merely altering it, did you really think I would destroy it?” He looked at the group with a smirk. “Plus Luna must be crazy if she thinks you can reform me? The Lord of chaos and disharmony,” he laughed. “How did you know that?” asked Twilight. “I used my ears honestly i thought you were the smart one” he said, mocking her, as she growled “Anyway thanks for releasing me, but I have chaos to spread and little time to do so,” Discord said, about to snap his eagle talon. “Also Rainbow Dash, I thought you were the element of loyalty, but you betrayed Spikes trust by telling everypony in Ponyville, but you did use one of my key elements betrayal,” he said. “What are you talking about I didn’t do that I just went for a fly round Ponyville” Rainbow lied. “Ooh using yet another of my elements you’re on a roll” Discord said while rolling on a pyramid. “What is he talking about Rainbow Dash?” Twilight said, looking to the cyan Pegasus hovering in the air. “Nothing he is a lier, and would you take his word over mine?” Rainbow asked, as she looked at Twilight with puppy dog eyes. “Rainbow what are you hiding?” Twilight asked looking at Rainbow sternly. “It's really nothing, Discord's just trying to put you under his spell, that's all,” she said. “Stop lying Rainbow ah can tell when you ahre” “Fine!! I did that, it was just too tempting to tell everypony, besides they might not believe me anyway,” she finally admitted. “Rainbow you should know better than to spread others secrets,” Twilight scolded. “Yes Rainbow it's not very nice to talk about things without others permission” Fluttershy said. “Maybe I should let your little drake friend know of what you did,” Discord said, before disappearing in a flash. “How mad will he be?” Rainbow asked, a bit worried. “He will Probably be quite angry and he has every right to be” said Twilight. Then he appeared. “Twilight I wouldn't go into the library right now if I were you, it's pretty messy plus fithteen books in total have been burnt”, he said, summoning the books out of nowhere. “Why!!!” Twilight screamed so loud that everypony in town covered their ears. “I know he's angry but this is uncalled for, wait are my other books safe?” She started running back to the golden oak library as fast as she could. “Twilight!!” her friends called, starting to run after her, leaving the draconequus alone. Discord's smile grew wider as the others went after their friend. “This is gonna be fun,” he thought, thinking of thousands of possibilities to change the town and all of Equestria. “Maybe I should pay that rude pony a little visit, the one that flew off,” he said to himself, as he disappeared. _____________________________________ Zephyr was hiding in his parents house as he heard a knock on the door, he didn't go down to answer fearing if it's that creature. “Zephyr some pony wants to see you!” Called a male's voice from down stairs. He slowly went down the stairs, seeing a grey Pegasus with a black tail and mane, a white goatee, mismatched eyes and a tornado for a cutie mark. “Who are you?” Zephyr asked usure of who this is. “Never mind that let's head to your room, I have something to talk about,” he said in a scary tone, causing Zephyr shiver in fear. They started walking up the stairs back to Zephyr's room. Once they've entered Discord transformed back into his original form scaring Zephyr. “Di-Dis,” Zephyr couldn't say his name, he started hyperventilating, passing out by the sight of the ceature. Discord snapped his fingers disappearing along with Zephyr to the library. They reappeared inside the library. “Ah Fluttershy your brother might need some taking care of,” he said, looking to Fluttershy and the passed out Pegasus. “Oh my goodness what did you do,” she said, looking at her brother. “I only paid a visit, to be honest I wasn't expecting him to pass out,”he said, sitting on a floating couch. Discord snapped his fingers, but nothing happened. “Hey Twilight you might want read Zephyr a book to ease him in this state,” Discord said looking back to the passed out Pegasus. When she opened a book the only thing on the page was a picture of Discord. “BOO!!” the picture yelled jumping off the page. “AAH!!” Twilight dropped the book, the cover slamming shut on Discord's face. “Get this book off me” he mumbled through the book. He reappeared out of the book laughing. “That was priceless wouldn't you agree?” She was getting more irritated then before, she huffed a sigh. “Why would it be priceless I could've had a heart attack, would that have been funny?” Twilight asked rhetorically before continuing. “Of course it would you know why? Because you only care about yourself!!!” Twilight yelled angerliy. “Well!! You know what!! I used to care but.. you know where that got me, encased in stone by the one I used to care about!!!” Discord yelled looking genuinely annoyed. “Oh…” Twilight said in shock before saying, “if you cared so much why did you ruin equestria?” she asked. “Because it got in the way i may have cared for her but all she cared about was equestria” he said with sadness in his voice “i need to be alone” he said, before disappearing in a flash. “No wonder he cares about nopony, it's like his heart is made out of stone,” she thought looking back to the book she dropped on the floor. It started getting late and she was laying in her bed, while Spike tossed and turned in his little basket. Twilight couldn't really sleep, she got out of bed and made it to her table, picking a book from the shelves and reading it. Hours passed before She went to sleep, laying her head on the table. Learning a truth and making a new friendThe sun was beginning to rise, as a levander alicorn was waking up at the table, she then let out a yawn. “What time did I even fall asleep?” she asked herself looking around. She got out of her chair walking towards the door, as she opened the door she got splashed by water. She groaned as the bucket fell covering her head her horn slotting into a hole in the bottom of the bucket. “Well good morning to you buckethead,” Discord snicked. “Good morning Discord” Twilight said sarcastically. “Well I only said good morning to not be rude, but anyway where are you going today?” Discord asked, looking at the levander alicorn. “I’m going to canterlot why do you want to know?” she said, looking back at him. “Let me guess you're going to see your precious princess,” he said coldly, a frown forming on his face. “Yes there are some things I would like to discuss with her,” Twilight said. “and turn those candy canes back into carrots!!”she said raising her voice, noticing the candy canes were in a carrot box in the market. “Fine!! But I do wonder what you're going to discuss I'm quite intrigued,” he said, turing the candy canes back into carrots. “I would like to ask her about-” “About what?” Discord interrupted. “I’m going to ask her about your past” Twilight said. Discord looked suprised but complied.“Well there are parts that even she doesn't know about my past,” he sighed, taking a deep breath. “Do you wanna hear a tale?” “I suppose getting your side of the story would help” she said. “o’k i would like to hear it” “It's sort of a sad tale,” he sighed again. “Eons ago before there was even a Hearth's warming Eve, me and my kind lived in a snowy part of the land, and because of the three races fighting amongst each other the windigos gained enough power to create a strong eoungh blizzard wiped out my kind. I was about seven years old when it happened when I became the last of my kind. I've traveled to Equestria but when I got their I was greeted with cries of shocks and nasty names there was only two that accepted me, an eight year old Filly named Celestia and a four year old named Luna, but that was before they could lower or rise the sun and moon,” he finished his story. “That’s horrible” Twilight said as tears rolled down her cheeks. “Yes, I was the only one that lived the rest of the draconeqi lost their lives in the icy lands, even my parents and siblings perished, but hey I accepted the fact that I'll only be known as a monster in Equestria,” Discord said starting to tear up. He felt somepony hugging him “You’re not a monster you just made some wrong turns anypony could do that” Twilight said with a small smile, trying to comfort the draconequus. “Anyway you better get to Canterlot, I'll just get you there,” he snapped his fingers as he and Twilight disappeared. They reappeared at the doors of Canterlot castle. “Thank you Discord i’ll see you later,” Twilight said about to enter the castle. “Who said I'm going anywhere? I'm coming with if you don't mind?” Discord said. “Oh of course not, lets go then,” Twilight said as she opened the doors with her magic. “You think she'll be happy to see me?” Discord chuckled nervously. “I don't know but we’ll see in a moment” Twilight replied as they reached the doors to the throne room. “We'll let's get in, I feel like I'm getting goosebumps,” he said, slowly opening the doors. When the doors opened they were greeted with something very surprising “yes auntie i’ll get you that double chocolate fudge cake” cadence said, “I’ve been needing to stretch my legs for ages anyway” “Twilight who's this?” Discord asked pointing to the new occupant in the room. “That’s my old foal sitter cadence” Twilight replied. “i didn’t know she would be here” He disappeared from Twilight's side and appeared in front of Cadence. “Hello there I'm Discord the spirit of chaos and disharmony, how are you?” He introduced himself to Cadence. Twilight facehoofed “wait aren’t you that statue from the garden?” Cadence asked. “Former garden decoration, those two princess wanted to try to reform me,” he said, pointing to the two sisters. “Reform does that mean you’re evil?” she asked, looking at him. “Well I told Twilight I said I'll always be known as a monster in Equestria but she thinks I'm not, how strange am I right?” Discord said. “I never said you were a monster I simply asked if you are still evil” Cadence said. “Anyway look who I brought for a visit,” he snapped his fingers and Twilight appeared next to him. “Ta-da.” “Twilight it’s been to long since i’ve seen you” Cadence said before saying, “sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake clap your hooves and do a little shake” she sang as twilight joined in. “What was that?” Discord asked confused. “It’s how me and Cadence greet each other” Twilight said. “Remind me to disappear when that happens,” he said, gaging a little. “Hello Twilight what brings you here?” a voice from behind them asked. Discord cleared his throat, looking at Celestia with a cold glare. “I came here to talk to you” Twilight said. “I talked with Discord yesterday and I decided I needed to come here to ask you this” Twilight took a deep breath “were you and Discord friends?” “Yeah she was a real friend making me feel unwanted,” Discord huffed. “We were once before he let his chaotic nature take over he severed our bond as friends, when he took over equestria” Celestia said. “I only let Chaos into my life because one: I was born with it an two: all you did was study magic and let other ponies laugh at my appearance!” He said, temper boiling, anyone could see his face going fully red with anger. “Discord calm down” Celestia half demanded. “Calm!! Down!!” Discord yelled before disappearing. “Well that could have gone better” Cadence said. “No kidding” Twilight said sarcastically “i’m going to go find him” she said, before galloping off. Discord was sitting on his old pedestal in the Canterlot gardens the only place he felt safe when he was younger. “How I miss the old days,” he said to himself, still sitting. “Discord!!” he lifted his head up looking around he saw twilight galloping towards him. “What do you want?” Discord asked looking away from Twilight. “I was worried about you so i came to check on you” Twilight said. “You're the first that's actually cared, not faked it like some high class alicorn that's weaker than me,” he said in a gentle tone. “Well friends do care about each other” Twilight said. “Let's get one thing straight we aren't really friends, you're just watching over me waiting to use the elements, plus I don't believe in friendship anyways,” he said, tone getting highly raised. “Well i do believe in friendship and even if i’m not your friend, you’re definitely my friend” Twilight said. “Well I've always said every creature for themselves, because if you don't feel friendship, then you don't feel the pain of losing a friend,” he said, putting his head down. “But if you don’t have friends in the first place you’ll just have an equally bad feeling in its place” she said, looking at him concerned. “Like you only cared about books instead of friends at first,” he retorted. “The reason i became so devoted to books was to cover up that loneliness with a philosophy that i only needed books but when i realized what it was like to have friends all that loneliness came back but then i met my friends and that loneliness disappeared” she said. “you try to drown your loneliness with chaos it’s not all that different” “I'm going to show you something from five days after I met Celestia, when I was seven,” he snapped his fingers revealing a few scars. “Unicorn colts and fillies did that, while Celestia was studying. Because of what I looked like, a freak,” he said, tears coming to his eyes. “You are not a freak you are just different there is nothing wrong with that and if Celestia still ignored you then that's her fault not yours” Twilight said, hugging Discord. “she may not have been a good friend but there are lots of ponies who like to be friends with you, that would be good friends” “I guess, consider it considered, I've got to go back home anyway, goodbye and thank you,” he disappeared, leaving Twilight alone in the garden. CMC and riddles“Twilight!” Discord called, but she wasn't in view, he started looking for her. “Down here!” her voice called from within the basement. “You've got three little guests at the door who wants to see you,” he said, said looking at three little fillies. “Can you get them some apple juice, i’ll be up in a minute!” Twilight called up. “Tell Twilight this is apple juice,” he said as he snapped his fingers summoning three mugs of apple cider. “Don’t you need to be adults ta drink this?” Apple Bloom questioned, eyeing the the mug of cider in front of them. “So what you're saying is you don't want it?” Discord said, as he pretended to be hurt. “We do but won’t Twilight be mad?” Scootaloo asked. “She won't be if you don't tell her,” he said, a smug smile appearing on his face. “Ah’m not a big fan of lying” Apple Bloom mused. “C’mon it’ll be fine” Scootaloo said. “Well if you're not happy, I can always summon a glass of water,” he was about to snap his fingers. “No ah’ll stick with this thank you” Apple Bloom said quickly. “Good call,” he said, he looked behind him to see Twilight glaring at him as he chuckled nervously. “And just what are you giving them to drink Discord?” Twilight asked glaring at him. “Just some one of a kind apple juice right girls,” he looked at the three fillies. “It’s cider” they said at the same time. “What! Discord you should know better than to give fillies cider” Twilight scolded. “But I don't know better because I've been trapped in stone for long periods of time,” Discord said, smiling innocently. “Hmm…” Twilight said, glaring at him. “well fillies can't have cider or any other alcohol for that matter” she said. “Well in any case, what are their plans for the day if their staying here?” Discord asked. “I’ve agreed to host a sleepover for them” Twilight replied. “Remember the talk we had at the garden? Two days ago” Discord asked. “Yes I was thinking this would be a good place to start” Twilight replied. “With.. with little kids who don't know anything about anything,” Discord said, words as cold as ice. “Well..,” Twilight said nervously. “their great friends so iy was thinking you could learn from them” she said. “Twilight need I remind you that unicorn fillies and colts gave me this,” he pointed at the scarres. “Because they judged my appearance.” “Well as you may have noticed these three are 1: still here 2: are not judging you and 3: are currently acting as if you’re just another pony and finally 4: they are three different kinds of pony” Twilight said slightly irritated. Discord looked at the three fillies faces. “Okay… okay I'm sorry it's just ever since I was first turned to stone, I guess I have trust issues.” “Its okay I understand now we should probably stop talking about them as if their not here” Twilight said chuckling. “So what do you girls wanna do?” Discord asked, hoping to make it up to them. “We were hoping to do some crusading tonight,” they said. “Crusading for what exactly?” Discord asked. “You shouldn't have ask that” Twilight said covering her ears, as the fillies all took in a lungful of air. “WE ARE CRUSADING FOR OUR CUTIE MARKS” they yelled in unison loud enough that multiple books fell off of their shelves. “Who needs to crusade for a cutie mark when I can use my magic?” he said. “Wait Discord they should earn them on their own” Twilight said, before Discord could snap his claws. “Okay, but call me when you need me, I'll be in my dimension,” he disappeared. “So girls what are you going to try today?” Twilight asked. “CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS MARATHON RUNNERS YAY!!!” they yelled, as more books fell. “How are you going to run a marathon?” Twilight asked. “Me, Scootaloo and Apple Bloom are going to complete in the next running of the leaves,” Sweetie Belle cheered. “Well not on your own your not” Twilight said. “Well I compete every year anyway so that's fine but it’s not starting for a couple of hours, so what do you want to do until then?” “Well Twilight it’s hearth's warming Eve tomorrow, and we were thinking, who are you going to hangout with on that special day?” Sweetie asked. “I don’t know probably just hang out with my friends” Twilight replied. “Maybe we all can plan something special for Discord's first hearth's warming Eve in Ponyville,”Sweetie said. “Yeah it’s the first one he’s had since he’s been turned to stone” Apple Bloom added. “I suppose it would help him feel more welcomed in ponyville” Twilight mused “okay let’s do it” she said. “Hi Twilight,” she heard Discord's voice before he appeared. “I thought you were staying in your dimension today” Twilight said. “Yes but I heard something about something making me more welcomed here,” Discord said. “We were just saying hearth’s warming would be a good time to say hi to the residents of ponyville” Twilight said. “Thanks, but no thanks I'm not really a huge fan of hearth's warming Eve,” he said bitterly. “Why would yo-” she said, before realization hit her “oh i’m sorry” she said sadly. “Twilight why doesn't he like hearth's warming Eve?” Sweetie Belle asked. “It’s something personal i don't think he likes talking about it” she replied. “I won't talk, but I can show you,” Discord solemnly said, snapping his fingers. The group appeared in a snowy region. “Discord you shouldn’t show them this” Twilight said. They saw lots of mismatched creatures living in a peaceful town, and they noticed a miniature version of Discord running through the snow happily until a storm of snow started destroying their little town, an older draconequus used a catapult in the town to fling the seven year old draconequus out of the land, as there was an icy explosion. Discord snapped his fingers bringing them back to the present. “What was that?” the three fillies asked in unison. “Something from my past,” he told them, looking down. “Oh” they said, before smiling. “well if you don’t wanna celebrate hearth’s warming what else can we do for fun?” Scootaloo asked. “Well, here's the thing it wasn't just the windigos that destroyed my species,” he said. “What else was it then?” they asked in confusion. “There was a black unicorn stallion. Return of chaosIt was a sunny day In the small town of Ponyville. As a lavender alicorn made her way down the dirt road, towards the carousel boutique to go and see Rarity about a trip to the Ponyville spa. “It sure is a nice day” she thought as she made her way to the building, but before she could get to the door she was knocked off balance by a rainbow blur, “Rainbow Dash!!” But the cyan Pegasus was already long gone, she sighed finally being able to reach the door. Before Twilight could knock it slammed into her muzzle as a little white filly rushed past not even noticing the lavender alicorn. She finally walked inside looking for her good friend. “Rarity!” Twilight called looking for her. “One moment darling i’m just finishing an ensemble,” she called from the other room. She made her way to the other room seeing her friend's ensemble. “Rarity it looks beautiful, how long did it take to make?” Twilight asked, looking from the dress to her friend. “Not all that long,I've just finished. Are you ready to go?” Rarity said. They were walking to the spa, it's not really a long walk. As they were nearly there they saw a chariot soared over their heads a compartment on the back rattling as it went. “What would a royal chariot be doing in ponyville?” she wondered as she watched it fly to the center of ponyville, they both galloped to the center of town to see what the commotion was about, when they arrived they saw Princess Luna standing next to two chariots one of them was empty while the other contained a statue. The statue had a lion’s paw and an eagles talon and it had a lizards leg and goats hoof it was not hard to tell who this creature was. “Sorry for the insult Luna but” she took in a lung full of air “WHY IN THE NAME OF CELESTIA WOULD YOU BRING DISCORD HERE!!!!?” “I do agree with Twilight, why would you bring that ruffian here?” Rarity asked worried. “We would like to speak to thou and thyne friends on a matter of utmost urgency” Luna stated. “Again, why did you bring Discord here after he tried turning Ponyville into the chaos capital of Equestria,” Twilight said looking at his encased form. “We cannot tell thou without thyne friends present” Luna said. “Then why didn’t you get us first silly!” Pinkie said popping out of nowhere. “Pinkie where you eavesdropping?” Twilight said, looking at Pinkie who wore a huge smile on her face. The ponies turned to face the purple drake with green spines. He looked at the statue and yawned, “I must be dreaming,” he started walking away back to the library. “We want thou to give them the same chance thou gave us” Luna stated. “So Luna if you want us to reform him how do we let him out? He’s solid as a rock,” Rainbow Dash said. “Thou and thyne friends will need the elements of harmony to release them,” Luna said, before the chariots took off into the air. “Spike can you get the elements!!!” She called. “Sure thing dream Twilight!!!” He called back before fading from view. They waited patiently for a small amount of time till they went back to the golden oak library, when they entered they saw Spike sleeping on the floor with a Rarity plushie in his claws. “Dawwww, where'd he get that?” Rarity asked, looking at Spike hugging it in his sleep. “I don't know, I didn't even know he had one,” Twilight said, looking at the sleeping drake, he started kissing the doll in his sleep not knowing anypony was there. The six ponies quietly trotted past the sleeping drake and walking towards a glass case that held a crown and five golden necklaces with a carved crystal embedded in each: a star, an apple, a butterfly, a balloon, a lightning bolt and a diamond. “Spike I'm sorry but I'm not letting this down,” Rainbow chuckled looking back to the sleeping drake still kissing the Rarity plushie. Twilight used her magic to lift the necklaces and place them around her five friend's necks, and levitated the crown on to her head. But just before Rainbows attached itself to her neck she took off. “Twilight I'll be back in a flash,” Rainbow Dash bolted through town with a smirk, “I'm so sorry Spike,” she thought to herself, as she started telling the whole town about Spike's secret. A few minutes later Rainbow returns with a smug smile. “What are you smiling about?” Twilight asked looking to the cyan Pegasus. “Nothing really just wanted to do a lap around Ponyville,” Rainbow Dash lied, but Applejack raised an eyebrow looking at her competitive friend. “Ahre ya sure?” Applejack questions eyebrow still raised. “It doesn't matter let's get this done, and hope he's not in the mood to spread chaos,” Rainbow said, she was sure this was a bad idea. They went back to the frozen draconequus, than the formed a circle around the statue. They started floating in midair, Twilight's eyes glowed white as a rainbow went around the circle towards the crown, than a rainbow cyclone flew around the statue. I've never done anything evil in all my existence,” Discord said dramatically. “Plus what did I do to be returned to my wretched prison, which I didn't deserve in the first place.” “You were destroying Ponyville,” Rainbow Dash retorted, glaring at the mismatched creature. “Destroying?” he said, looking confused. “I was merely altering it, did you really think I would destroy it?” He looked at the group with a smirk. “Plus Luna must be crazy if she thinks you can reform me? The Lord of chaos and disharmony,” he laughed. “How did you know that?” asked Twilight. “I used my ears honestly i thought you were the smart one” he said, mocking her, as she growled “Anyway thanks for releasing me, but I have chaos to spread and little time to do so,” Discord said, about to snap his eagle talon. “Also Rainbow Dash, I thought you were the element of loyalty, but you betrayed Spikes trust by telling everypony in Ponyville, but you did use one of my key elements betrayal,” he said. “What are you talking about I didn’t do that I just went for a fly round Ponyville” Rainbow lied. “Ooh using yet another of my elements you’re on a roll” Discord said while rolling on a pyramid. “What is he talking about Rainbow Dash?” Twilight said, looking to the cyan Pegasus hovering in the air. “Nothing he is a lier, and would you take his word over mine?” Rainbow asked, as she looked at Twilight with puppy dog eyes. “Rainbow what are you hiding?” Twilight asked looking at Rainbow sternly. “It's really nothing, Discord's just trying to put you under his spell, that's all,” she said. “Stop lying Rainbow ah can tell when you ahre” “Fine!! Then he appeared. “Twilight I wouldn't go into the library right now if I were you, it's pretty messy plus fithteen books in total have been burnt”, he said, summoning the books out of nowhere. “Why!!!” Twilight screamed so loud that everypony in town covered their ears. “I know he's angry but this is uncalled for, wait are my other books safe?” She started running back to the golden oak library as fast as she could. “Twilight!!” her friends called, starting to run after her, leaving the draconequus alone. He slowly went down the stairs, seeing a grey Pegasus with a black tail and mane, a white goatee, mismatched eyes and a tornado for a cutie mark. “Who are you?” Zephyr asked usure of who this is. “Never mind that let's head to your room, I have something to talk about,” he said in a scary tone, causing Zephyr shiver in fear. They started walking up the stairs back to Zephyr's room. Once they've entered Discord transformed back into his original form scaring Zephyr. “Di-Dis,” Zephyr couldn't say his name, he started hyperventilating, passing out by the sight of the ceature. Discord snapped his fingers disappearing along with Zephyr to the library. They reappeared inside the library. “Ah Fluttershy your brother might need some taking care of,” he said, looking to Fluttershy and the passed out Pegasus. “Oh my goodness what did you do,” she said, looking at her brother. “I only paid a visit, to be honest I wasn't expecting him to pass out,”he said, sitting on a floating couch. Discord snapped his fingers, but nothing happened. “Hey Twilight you might want read Zephyr a book to ease him in this state,” Discord said looking back to the passed out Pegasus. When she opened a book the only thing on the page was a picture of Discord. “BOO!!” the picture yelled jumping off the page. “AAH!!” Twilight dropped the book, the cover slamming shut on Discord's face. “Get this book off me” he mumbled through the book. He reappeared out of the book laughing. “That was priceless wouldn't you agree?” She was getting more irritated then before, she huffed a sigh. “Why would it be priceless I could've had a heart attack, would that have been funny?” Twilight asked rhetorically before continuing. “Of course it would you know why? Because you only care about yourself!!!” Twilight yelled angerliy. “Well!! You know what!! I used to care but.. you know where that got me, encased in stone by the one I used to care about!!!” Discord yelled looking genuinely annoyed. “Oh…” Twilight said in shock before saying, “if you cared so much why did you ruin equestria?” she asked. “Because it got in the way i may have cared for her but all she cared about was equestria” he said with sadness in his voice “i need to be alone” he said, before disappearing in a flash. “No wonder he cares about nopony, it's like his heart is made out of stone,” she thought looking back to the book she dropped on the floor. It started getting late and she was laying in her bed, while Spike tossed and turned in his little basket. Twilight couldn't really sleep, she got out of bed and made it to her table, picking a book from the shelves and reading it. Hours passed before She went to sleep, laying her head on the table.
Learning a truth and making a new friendThe sun was beginning to rise, as a levander alicorn was waking up at the table, she then let out a yawn. “What time did I even fall asleep?” she asked herself looking around. She got out of her chair walking towards the door, as she opened the door she got splashed by water. She groaned as the bucket fell covering her head her horn slotting into a hole in the bottom of the bucket. “Well good morning to you buckethead,” Discord snicked. “Good morning Discord” Twilight said sarcastically. “Well I only said good morning to not be rude, but anyway where are you going today?” Discord asked, looking at the levander alicorn. “I’m going to canterlot why do you want to know?” she said, looking back at him. “Let me guess you're going to see your precious princess,” he said coldly, a frown forming on his face. “Yes there are some things I would like to discuss with her,” Twilight said. “and turn those candy canes back into carrots!!”she said raising her voice, noticing the candy canes were in a carrot box in the market. “Fine!! But I do wonder what you're going to discuss I'm quite intrigued,” he said, turing the candy canes back into carrots. “I would like to ask her about-” “About what?” Discord interrupted. “I’m going to ask her about your past” Twilight said. Discord looked suprised but complied.“Well there are parts that even she doesn't know about my past,” he sighed, taking a deep breath. “Do you wanna hear a tale?” “I suppose getting your side of the story would help” she said. “o’k i would like to hear it” “It's sort of a sad tale,” he sighed again. “Eons ago before there was even a Hearth's warming Eve, me and my kind lived in a snowy part of the land, and because of the three races fighting amongst each other the windigos gained enough power to create a strong eoungh blizzard wiped out my kind. I was about seven years old when it happened when I became the last of my kind. I've traveled to Equestria but when I got their I was greeted with cries of shocks and nasty names there was only two that accepted me, an eight year old Filly named Celestia and a four year old named Luna, but that was before they could lower or rise the sun and moon,” he finished his story. “That’s horrible” Twilight said as tears rolled down her cheeks. “Yes, I was the only one that lived the rest of the draconeqi lost their lives in the icy lands, even my parents and siblings perished, but hey I accepted the fact that I'll only be known as a monster in Equestria,” Discord said starting to tear up. He felt somepony hugging him “You’re not a monster you just made some wrong turns anypony could do that” Twilight said with a small smile, trying to comfort the draconequus. “Anyway you better get to Canterlot, I'll just get you there,” he snapped his fingers as he and Twilight disappeared. They reappeared at the doors of Canterlot castle. “Thank you Discord i’ll see you later,” Twilight said about to enter the castle. “Who said I'm going anywhere? I'm coming with if you don't mind?” Discord said. “Oh of course not, lets go then,” Twilight said as she opened the doors with her magic. “You think she'll be happy to see me?” Discord chuckled nervously. “I don't know but we’ll see in a moment” Twilight replied as they reached the doors to the throne room. “We'll let's get in, I feel like I'm getting goosebumps,” he said, slowly opening the doors. When the doors opened they were greeted with something very surprising “yes auntie i’ll get you that double chocolate fudge cake” cadence said, “I’ve been needing to stretch my legs for ages anyway” “Twilight who's this?” Discord asked pointing to the new occupant in the room. “That’s my old foal sitter cadence” Twilight replied. “i didn’t know she would be here” He disappeared from Twilight's side and appeared in front of Cadence. “Hello there I'm Discord the spirit of chaos and disharmony, how are you?” He introduced himself to Cadence. Twilight facehoofed “wait aren’t you that statue from the garden?” Cadence asked. “Former garden decoration, those two princess wanted to try to reform me,” he said, pointing to the two sisters. “Reform does that mean you’re evil?” she asked, looking at him. “Well I told Twilight I said I'll always be known as a monster in Equestria but she thinks I'm not, how strange am I right?” Discord said. “I never said you were a monster I simply asked if you are still evil” Cadence said. “Anyway look who I brought for a visit,” he snapped his fingers and Twilight appeared next to him. “Ta-da.” “Twilight it’s been to long since i’ve seen you” Cadence said before saying, “sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake clap your hooves and do a little shake” she sang as twilight joined in. “What was that?” Discord asked confused. “It’s how me and Cadence greet each other” Twilight said. “Remind me to disappear when that happens,” he said, gaging a little. “Hello Twilight what brings you here?” a voice from behind them asked. Discord cleared his throat, looking at Celestia with a cold glare. “I came here to talk to you” Twilight said. “I talked with Discord yesterday and I decided I needed to come here to ask you this” Twilight took a deep breath “were you and Discord friends?” “Yeah she was a real friend making me feel unwanted,” Discord huffed. “We were once before he let his chaotic nature take over he severed our bond as friends, when he took over equestria” Celestia said. “I only let Chaos into my life because one: I was born with it an two: all you did was study magic and let other ponies laugh at my appearance!” He said, temper boiling, anyone could see his face going fully red with anger. “Discord calm down” Celestia half demanded. “Calm!! Down!!” Discord yelled before disappearing. “Well that could have gone better” Cadence said. “No kidding” Twilight said sarcastically “i’m going to go find him” she said, before galloping off. Discord was sitting on his old pedestal in the Canterlot gardens the only place he felt safe when he was younger. “How I miss the old days,” he said to himself, still sitting. “Discord!!” he lifted his head up looking around he saw twilight galloping towards him. “What do you want?” Discord asked looking away from Twilight. “I was worried about you so i came to check on you” Twilight said. “You're the first that's actually cared, not faked it like some high class alicorn that's weaker than me,” he said in a gentle tone. “Well friends do care about each other” Twilight said. “Let's get one thing straight we aren't really friends, you're just watching over me waiting to use the elements, plus I don't believe in friendship anyways,” he said, tone getting highly raised. “Well i do believe in friendship and even if i’m not your friend, you’re definitely my friend” Twilight said. “Well I've always said every creature for themselves, because if you don't feel friendship, then you don't feel the pain of losing a friend,” he said, putting his head down. “But if you don’t have friends in the first place you’ll just have an equally bad feeling in its place” she said, looking at him concerned. “Like you only cared about books instead of friends at first,” he retorted. “The reason i became so devoted to books was to cover up that loneliness with a philosophy that i only needed books but when i realized what it was like to have friends all that loneliness came back but then i met my friends and that loneliness disappeared” she said. “you try to drown your loneliness with chaos it’s not all that different” “I'm going to show you something from five days after I met Celestia, when I was seven,” he snapped his fingers revealing a few scars. “Unicorn colts and fillies did that, while Celestia was studying. Because of what I looked like, a freak,” he said, tears coming to his eyes. “You are not a freak you are just different there is nothing wrong with that and if Celestia still ignored you then that's her fault not yours” Twilight said, hugging Discord. “she may not have been a good friend but there are lots of ponies who like to be friends with you, that would be good friends” “I guess, consider it considered, I've got to go back home anyway, goodbye and thank you,” he disappeared, leaving Twilight alone in the garden.
CMC and riddles“Twilight!” Discord called, but she wasn't in view, he started looking for her. “Down here!” her voice called from within the basement. “You've got three little guests at the door who wants to see you,” he said, said looking at three little fillies. “Can you get them some apple juice, i’ll be up in a minute!” Twilight called up. “Tell Twilight this is apple juice,” he said as he snapped his fingers summoning three mugs of apple cider. “Don’t you need to be adults ta drink this?” Apple Bloom questioned, eyeing the the mug of cider in front of them. “So what you're saying is you don't want it?” Discord said, as he pretended to be hurt. “We do but won’t Twilight be mad?” Scootaloo asked. “She won't be if you don't tell her,” he said, a smug smile appearing on his face. “Ah’m not a big fan of lying” Apple Bloom mused. “C’mon it’ll be fine” Scootaloo said. “Well if you're not happy, I can always summon a glass of water,” he was about to snap his fingers. “No ah’ll stick with this thank you” Apple Bloom said quickly. “Good call,” he said, he looked behind him to see Twilight glaring at him as he chuckled nervously. “And just what are you giving them to drink Discord?” Twilight asked glaring at him. “Just some one of a kind apple juice right girls,” he looked at the three fillies. “It’s cider” they said at the same time. “What! Discord you should know better than to give fillies cider” Twilight scolded. “But I don't know better because I've been trapped in stone for long periods of time,” Discord said, smiling innocently. “Hmm…” Twilight said, glaring at him. “well fillies can't have cider or any other alcohol for that matter” she said. “Well in any case, what are their plans for the day if their staying here?” Discord asked. “I’ve agreed to host a sleepover for them” Twilight replied. “Remember the talk we had at the garden? Two days ago” Discord asked. “Yes I was thinking this would be a good place to start” Twilight replied. “With.. with little kids who don't know anything about anything,” Discord said, words as cold as ice. “Well..,” Twilight said nervously. “their great friends so iy was thinking you could learn from them” she said. “Twilight need I remind you that unicorn fillies and colts gave me this,” he pointed at the scarres. “Because they judged my appearance.” “Well as you may have noticed these three are 1: still here 2: are not judging you and 3: are currently acting as if you’re just another pony and finally 4: they are three different kinds of pony” Twilight said slightly irritated. Discord looked at the three fillies faces. “Okay… okay I'm sorry it's just ever since I was first turned to stone, I guess I have trust issues.” “Its okay I understand now we should probably stop talking about them as if their not here” Twilight said chuckling. “So what do you girls wanna do?” Discord asked, hoping to make it up to them. “We were hoping to do some crusading tonight,” they said. “Crusading for what exactly?” Discord asked. “You shouldn't have ask that” Twilight said covering her ears, as the fillies all took in a lungful of air. “WE ARE CRUSADING FOR OUR CUTIE MARKS” they yelled in unison loud enough that multiple books fell off of their shelves. “Who needs to crusade for a cutie mark when I can use my magic?” he said. “Wait Discord they should earn them on their own” Twilight said, before Discord could snap his claws. “Okay, but call me when you need me, I'll be in my dimension,” he disappeared. “So girls what are you going to try today?” Twilight asked. “CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS MARATHON RUNNERS YAY!!!” they yelled, as more books fell. “How are you going to run a marathon?” Twilight asked. “Me, Scootaloo and Apple Bloom are going to complete in the next running of the leaves,” Sweetie Belle cheered. “Well not on your own your not” Twilight said. “Well I compete every year anyway so that's fine but it’s not starting for a couple of hours, so what do you want to do until then?” “Well Twilight it’s hearth's warming Eve tomorrow, and we were thinking, who are you going to hangout with on that special day?” Sweetie asked. “I don’t know probably just hang out with my friends” Twilight replied. “Maybe we all can plan something special for Discord's first hearth's warming Eve in Ponyville,”Sweetie said. “Yeah it’s the first one he’s had since he’s been turned to stone” Apple Bloom added. “I suppose it would help him feel more welcomed in ponyville” Twilight mused “okay let’s do it” she said. “Hi Twilight,” she heard Discord's voice before he appeared. “I thought you were staying in your dimension today” Twilight said. “Yes but I heard something about something making me more welcomed here,” Discord said. “We were just saying hearth’s warming would be a good time to say hi to the residents of ponyville” Twilight said. “Thanks, but no thanks I'm not really a huge fan of hearth's warming Eve,” he said bitterly. “Why would yo-” she said, before realization hit her “oh i’m sorry” she said sadly. “Twilight why doesn't he like hearth's warming Eve?” Sweetie Belle asked. “It’s something personal i don't think he likes talking about it” she replied. “I won't talk, but I can show you,” Discord solemnly said, snapping his fingers. The group appeared in a snowy region. “Discord you shouldn’t show them this” Twilight said. They saw lots of mismatched creatures living in a peaceful town, and they noticed a miniature version of Discord running through the snow happily until a storm of snow started destroying their little town, an older draconequus used a catapult in the town to fling the seven year old draconequus out of the land, as there was an icy explosion. Discord snapped his fingers bringing them back to the present. “What was that?” the three fillies asked in unison. “Something from my past,” he told them, looking down. “Oh” they said, before smiling. “well if you don’t wanna celebrate hearth’s warming what else can we do for fun?” Scootaloo asked. “Well, here's the thing it wasn't just the windigos that destroyed my species,” he said. “What else was it then?” they asked in confusion. “There was a black unicorn stallion. He wore armour with a red cap and had a crooked horn.” “Who was he?” Twilight asked. “I wish I could remember, all I know is it started with an s,” he said. “Should we move on to a happier note?” Twilight asked. “Might as well, but remember I won't be attending tomorrow evening though,” he said. “It’s okay i understand” Twilight said. “So Discord would you like to join us on our crusade?” Scootaloo asked. “I guess, there's really nothing else to do,” he said. “But I will be the first out of everypony to cross the line, he giggled. “Okay but there's one rule, no teleporting” they said. “I don't always need teleportation, I have other ways,” he said. “No floating either it’s called the running of the leaves for a reason” Scootaloo said. “I was thinking of transforming into the fastest ground running creature in or byond Equestria,” Discord said, with a smug smirk. “And what would that be?” Apple Bloom asked. “Haven't you heard of an alpha Timberwolf,” he said. “That isn’t the fastest animal in or beyond Equestria” Twilight said. “But it is,” he lied, hoping to fool the smartest pony. “No the fastest animal in and beyond Equestria is a Pinkius Piakus” Twilight said, matter of factly. “Thank you for playing into my hands,” he transformed into Pinkius Piakus. He stood there for a second before a tear rolled down his cheek “um are you okay?” Twilight asked concerned. “Have you seen inside her head, it's utter chaos and makes no sense whatsoever, he said, looking at Twilight. “Is that a good thing?” she asked unsure of what to say. She disappeared from where she was and reappeared inside Pinkius Piakus’s head. She looked around for a second at the blackness around her before everything lit up in colours shapes and every other thing imaginable idea’s flitting about appearing one second disappearing the next as two things entered her mind confusion and terror. Pinkie Pie was working at sugarcube corner when she heard what sounded like a scream from within her head. She stopped what she was doing before saying “I sure have been hearing those voices a lot more often recently” she shrugged and continued her day. “So Twi how's this,” Discord asked dancing on Pinkie’s brain. “It’s terrifying how does she put up with all that in her head at once?” she asked to nobody in particular. Discord snapped his fingers Twilight disappeared from Pinkie’s head, she then reappeared going down a big slide. “Welcome to my head,” he said, as she was sliding down looking at all the chaotic thoughts sorted into organised chaos. “Why is your head so much easier to understand then Pinkie Pie’s?” she asked surprised. “I may be the opposite of order, but I order my thoughts so I'm one step further ahead then anypony else,” he said. Just as he continued his bragging a pink pony with poofy hair appeared out of nowhere. “How did I get here?” Pinkie asked confused, looking around. “I..” Twilight stopped and thought before saying, “i have absolutely no idea.” “Because I summoned you to teach you how to organise your thoughts,” Discord replied. “But I like having messy thoughts,” Pinkie said before she found herself back at Sugarcube corner. __________________________________ “Twilight you see how far ahead of you I was when we first met?” Discord asked. “I never really thought about it that much but yes, you always seemed to be one step ahead” Twilight said. “Well if I wanted to corrupt you I knew I had to do that to your friends first to ensure victory,” he said, trying to teach her a lesson. “But then you got arrogant and that was your downfall” Twilight said. “Exactly what I'm teaching you, is if you let an enemy ahead, they'll start to cause their own downfall,” Discord said. “Remember make sure they let their guard down.” “That makes a lot of sense coming from the lord of chaos” Twilight said. “I'm not meant to make sense,” he said. “Well what you said did” she said. “I feel like we're forgetting something,” he said, looking around the room. “Well it could be you’re forgetting the running of the leaves or the cmc” Spike said coming downstairs “they asked me to tell you they went ahead without you.” “How long ago?” Discord asked. “About 20 minutes ago” Spike said. “What!, Why didn’t you tell me sooner!” Twilight exclaimed. “Hey, calm down Twilight, if Rainbow Dash, Applejack or Rarity asks, I'll blame it on Spike,” Discord said. “For not telling us sooner,” he said. “It’s not my fault you were jumping around in Pinkie’s head” Spike said in his defence. “But you still should have told us sooner” Twilight said. “I can't if you’re not here” Spike said. They looked over to see Discord was nowhere in sight. “Where’d he go?” Spike asked. “I don’t know” Twilight replied. They found a sheet of paper on the ground. Dear Twilight and Spike Hello it’s me Discord i’ve decided to go find the three fillies since you two are far to busy arguing if by chance you see this we’ll be at the running of the leaves. Good day Discord lord of chaos and disharmony They thought he went home before reading the sheet. “Well should we go find him?” Spike asked. “I suppose we should” Twilight replied. And with that they set off to find Discord. As they approached they saw a white filly running with a piece of paper in her mouth. “Twilight, Spike Discord wanted me to give this to you. They took the sheet. To find your next clue, it's somewhere out of town but sells delicious apples. “Well that’s easy” Spike said. “sweet apple acres.” “Almost to easy,” Twilight said. They made their way to sweet apple acres but what they saw there surprised them. It was a giant apple with a message The next clue is in a place of safest shelter but lurks next to where the wolves of timber howl. “Well there’s only one place i know where timber wolves lurk and that's the everfree” Twilight said “And the only shelter next to the everfree is fluttershy’s cottage” Spike said. They made their way to fluttershy’s cottage only to see it was there was writing in the sky Your next clue, is where two sisters use to live with their parents and I. “Two sisters do you think he means the old castle?” Spike asked Twilight. “I don’t see where else he could mean” replied Twilight. They set off along zecora’s path into the everfree as they made their way to the castle. The castle had pink polka dots with a message. Your next clue is, I am a place that holds things as old as you or I, But if we go there we will only see ourselves at our youngest. “What could he mean Twilight?” Spike wondered. She read over the message again “I think I know” she said. “Well where then?” Spike asked. “I think he's talking about town hall or more specifically the birth records” Twilight replied. They made their way to the birth records which had turned into actual babies sleeping spelling out. Your next clue, you've sent lots of us back into a small space of water, that has a legend named after it. “I think i know where he's talking about” Spike said. “Well where then?” Twilight asked. “The Mirror pool” Spike replied “Oh” Twilight said, feeling silly, after all it was actually quite easy. They made their way back into the everfree to find the Mirror pool. When they were nearly there, they saw a rock covering the entrance. Twilight blasted the rock and entered, she found the water had a message. I am a place that floats on air but when clumped together well we would not fare, I soar on high in the sky so if you fell you’d surely- Twilight rippled the water to stop Spike reading the last word. “What did it say?” Spike asked. “Nothing much but i think i know where to go” Twilight replied. “Where?” Spike asked “Cloudsdale” Twilight replied. Spike hopped on Twilight’s back and she took off to cloudsdale. When they arrived they saw a rainbow with writing Your next clue is where Spike protected an egg from a gang of gem eating- “The only time I protected an egg was when Gar-” he stopped. “Twilight we’re going to Whitetails woods” Twilight took off once more as she flew to whitetail woods. They landed looking around they saw a phoenix flying through spelling out. The place i think of is a lot like clue the 1st yet if you look at a compass you’ll see it’s in the opposite direction through their land they have a path that was made to not anger their neighbors. “Angry neighbours, path and like Sweet apple acres, I know where we're going,” before Spike could ask, Twilight already started flying to Appleoosa. When they arrived they saw the path had a message. The next clue you'll find but first you'll have to navigate a big city. “Do you think it could be Trottingham?” Spike asked. “No to small what about Canterlot” Twilight said. “No that's more of a capital than a city” Spike said. “Then it must be Manehattan it’s the only other place it could be” Twilight said, without another word she took off for the other side of Equestria. When they arrived they saw the tallest building with a message. The next clue is, i am a place which shines with blinding light and around me is snow of terrifying might so if you go here be on your guard for enemies lurk with in the shadows and let love shine through you and be your guide. “Hmm.” Twilight thought long and hard until, “The crystal empire,” she then started to fly to the crystal empire. Spike hadn't spoken a word yet. When they arrived there was a message on the castle. Only one moreclue after you'reto closethe end,time fortheclueit'swhereone ofDash'soldfriendfromflightcamp lives. “Well we’ve already been to Fluttershy’s so he can’t be there” Spike said. “Well what other friends did she have at flight camp?” Twilight asked. “What about Gilda wasn’t she a friend of Rainbows?” Spike asked. “Yes but doesn’t she live in griffonstone?” Twilight asked. “Yes she does so i guess it’s off to griffonstone then” Spike said. Twilight nodded and took off for griffonstone when they arrived they took a look around, then they found the last clue on the statue of the griffon king We'll done, now for your last clue, I'm back at where you begun before you played see you soon. Twilight's roar of anger was heard all the way in canterlot. __________________________________ “Sister did thou hear that to us it sounded like thunder” Luna said as a thunderous noise echoed over head. “My dear sister that is not thunder it seems as if Discord’s little plan worked” Celestia said. “We are curious about this plan please enlighten us sister,” Luna said. “Well basically Discord decided to play a prank on Twilight he made sure to ask me first though” Celestia said. “And what was this prank may we ask?” Luna asked. “He sent Twilight on a wild goose chase across Equestria that noise you heard was Twilight finding out it was a wild goose chase” Celestia said. “Ah tis a fine prank to play” Luna laughed “remember when we made thou think thou had been expelled from school” “Yes those were fun times but i feel bad for Discord” Celestia said. “And why is that?” Luna asked. “Because he just angered the princess of magic” Celestia replied. __________________________________ In Twilight's bed, in the golden oak library Discord was asleep with a little enchantment so he wouldn’t be able to hear a sound.
