On king Kai's planet, a saiyan warrior was training his heart out. He threw punches, kicks, and finally came down, smashing a huge hole into the ground. His name was Cyre. Pronounced as in the royal "sire". Cyre was created through various types of DNA, from piccolo's Regen cells to Frieza's ability to survive any injury. Cyre also wore a GI similar to Goku's.

Aside from the Gi, Cyre looked Similar to ,mystic Gohan from the buu saga, and had just as much potential as he did. Well, not exactly alike, as he still has a tail. Cyre had learned all the attacks the z fighters taught him, along with the techniques king Kai taught him. He was also the strongest, as he could fight super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta at the same time, without going super Saiyan himself. Cyre was taken out of the chamber and was born a few months after the tournament of power. He was still relatively young, he was eighteen years old. Cyre first achieved super Saiyan at age 2, when Vegeta forced him to hold back a final flash. Cyre had tamed the ozaro, and super Saiyan 2-4, over the next several years.the god forms took nine years, and he was still training his super Saiyan blue Power. He knew there was more potential, but how to unlock it was the issue. "Well, I suppose that's enough for now." Cyre said to no one. Cyre instant transmitted to king Kai. "Cyre I told you not to interrupt me while I'm working!"

"Sorry, but there's gotta be somewhere that's in trouble right now!" Cyre liked peace and all but he got bored pretty often, and training could only do so much. He wanted something to fight!

"Sorry Cyre, but there's nothi-" king Kai froze suddenly, excluding his antennae. He just received a message through telepathy. Once it was finished, king Kai smiled. "Uh, king Kai? You still with me?" Cyre rubbed the king's head to see. "Huh? Oh, Cyre. I have good news for you. someone on another world would like your assistance." Cyre gained a huge smile. "Great! When do I leave?"

"Right now!" King Kai shot a yellow ball of energy at Cyre and he was instantly transported. Cyre looked around until a voice caught his attention. "Hello, sir." It was a tall, white unicorn with wings.her light colored rainbow mane majestically flowed in the air. She wore a crown and had pale, light magenta eyes."You must be the one King Kai sent over. I am Princess Celestia." Cyre smiled. "Pleased to be here. So why did you need me?" Celestia's expression suddenly turned grim. "My sister, Princess Luna, was banished to the moon for a thousand years, and now she is going to return, tonight."

"So what's the problem?" Cyre asked confused. "For thousands of years, Luna and I have raised and lowered the Moon and Sun respectively.The ponies relished and played in the day I brought forth, but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. One fateful day, she refused to lower the moon. the bitterness in her heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon. She pledged to bring about eternal night. I was reluctant to banish her to the moon. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do." She shed a tear before continuing. "She will return tonight,but I do not have the means necessary to banish her once more, nor do I want to." Cyre than realized what she called him here for. He was in case something went wrong when Celestia confronted her. "You realize why I ask this of you. Am I correct?"Cyre nodded sharply in understanding.Celestia nodded once more. "For now, suggest you head down to Ponyville. Night shall be arriving soon and I believe you should be prepared for when Nightmare Moon comes." She then handed Cyre a map and wished him safe travels. Cyre had met some interesting folks once he arrived. one unicorn in particular convinced the others that he was friendly thanks to him having hands. Eventually, the residents of Ponyville finally warmed up to Cyre.

Not to long after that was when he found a note on his map that Celestia wrote, reading: "Go to the Library and find Twilight Sparkle."

When he arrived, there seemed to be a large party going on with what seemed like hundreds of ponies in the massive tree library. The most important thing he noticed was the large food table set up. Cyre immediately rushed over and sat himself down, only to come face to face with a pink earth pony with an even pinker and puffier mane.

"Hi there! I'm Pinkie Pie and I love making new friends! I don't think I've ever seen you around here! What's your name?"

"I'm Cyre! " He took a bite out of one of the cupcakes on the table.

"Wow! You seem hungry. Cupcake race! One, Two, Three, Go!" And just like that, Cyre and Pinkie started gouging themselves with food. Out of the corner of his eye, the Saiyan noticed a small purple dragon with green spikes walking up stairs.

"Aren't you gonna keep eating?" Pinkie asked, her mouth stuffed with cupcakes.

Cyre shook his head. "Uh- you go on ahead, there's something I gotta do." He navigated his way through ponies as they headed out the door. As he flew up the stairs, he made it just in time to see the dragon finish talking to a lavender unicorn.

"Sorry if I'm interrupting, but are you Twilight Sparkle?" the Saiyan earned a nod before Pinkie Pie burst through the door.

"C'mon, it's time to watch the sunrise!"

"Well you heard her, it's time to go!" Twilight grabbed the dragon and teleported out of the room.

At the town hall, everypony and Cyre were anxiously waiting for Celestia to raise the Sun for the start of the Sumer Sun Celebration.

Mayor Mare, the mayor of Ponyville stepped up and adressed the ponies. "Fillies and gentlecolts, as mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration!" Ponies cheered as Cyre looked over to Twilight to see her nervous expression.

"In just a few moments, our town will witness the magic of the sunrise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year! And now, it is my great honor to introduce to you the ruler of our land, the very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day, the good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria..."

A white unicorn readied herself to pull open the curtains as a light yellow pegasus directed a chorus of birds to start singing.

" ...Princess Celestia!" When the curtains opened, Celestia was nowhere to be seen.

"This can't be good." Twilight Sparkle whimpered.

Mayor Mare tried to calm everypony down while Pinkie Pie brushed it off as a game of hide and seek. Ponies continued to panic before a dark glowing blue fog covered the balcony where Celestia was supposed to be. A dark blue alicorn the size of Celestia emerged from the fog.
Twilight Sparkle gasped. "Oh no... Nightmare Moon!" Spike immediately fainted.

"Oh, my beloved subjects. It's been so long since I've seen your precious, little sun-loving faces." Nightmare Moon laughed.

"What did you do with our Princess?!" A cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane raced towards Nightmare Moon before an orange earth pony grabbed her tail.

"Whoa there, Nelly..." she said in a muffled voice.

Nightmare Moon chuckled. "Why, am I not royal enough for you? Don't you know who I am?"

Ooh, ooh, more guessing games! Um, Hokey Smokes! How about... Queen Meanie! No! Black Snooty, Black Snooty-" Before Pinkie Pie could continue, the orange earth mare put an apple in Pinkie's mouth.

Nightmare Moon continued with Pinkie now silenced. "Does my crown no longer count now that I have been imprisoned for a thousand years? Did you not recall the legend? Did you not see the signs?"

"I did." Twilight called out, drawling everyone's attention to her." And I know who you are. You're the Mare in the Moon – Nightmare Moon!" The crowd gasped at this realization.

Nightmare Moon chuckled. "Well well well, somepony who remembers me. Then you also know why I'm here."
Twilight Sparkle gulped, knowing what was coming next. "You're here to... to..."

"Remember this day, little ponies, for it was your last. From this moment forth, the night will last forever!" Nightmare Moon laughed. Ponies were now frantic, screaming as loud as they could, knowing that they were now doomed to eternal night. That was before she saw an incoming blast of ki headed for the balcony, which she narrowly dodged, which caused a huge explosion.

"Sorry, but I got tired of your boring talk. Can you just get down here and try to beat my ass?" Everypony looked towards Cyre, who had a hard extended to the balcony nightmare moon was just standing on. "Ah... And who and what might you be?" Nightmare Moon asked. "My name is Cyre, and I'm a saiyan from planet Earth!"

None of that really mattered though, as he had just made a grave mistake. "Impudent foal, how dare you challenge me! Do you even know what you're getting yourself into?"

"That's funny, I was going to ask you something similar."

Everypony looked on in horror as Cyre squared off with the evil Alicorn.

Nightmare Moon stood there in shock; was this creature seriously challenging her? She shook off her confusion and fired a beam at the stranger.... Only for it to phase around him , like a brick wall was blocking it. he was still floating there unharmed. "My attack had no effect at all?!" The evil Alicorn asked in anger.

'Her power level is much lower than I would have liked. Hm, I guess I'll just have to lower my power level so I don't kill her right away. I wouldn't want the fun to end too early.' Cyre began lowering his power level, as he prepared to attack Nightmare Moon. A grin then came onto his face. "Here why don't you let me fire a beam at you, and if you're so tough just stand there and take it." He extended his index finger and fired a very small energy beam at one of her legs. The beam hit her like a bee sting and he could hear her cries of pain. He smirked as everypony looked on shocked. "Oh come on, I was barely trying."

Nightmare Moon struggled to stand up but as soon as she did her foe was right in front of her, and the next thing she knew she was punched in the gut, and then kicked off the balcony. The seemingly invincible Nightmare Moon was now lying vulnerable on the ground, and she was once again having trouble standing up. "H-how can this be?! I am Nightmare Moon, the most powerful being in all of Equestria!"
Cyre reappeared in front of her. "Ready to give up?" He mocked. "Enough!" Nightmare Moon stood to her hooves. "Your demise shall be swift! Kaioken Times 5!" Cyre was slightly surprised she knew Kaio Ken, but Celestia Said during the talk that they go way back, so the surprise didn't last long. Nightmare moon than shot forward and repeatedly punched Cyre in the face, who didn't even flinch. Soon enough he grew bored of it and caught her hoof. He pulled her into a Savage headbutt that broke her helmet in two. He then grabbed her mane with his right hand and punched her in the stomach again with his left hand, making nightmare moon cough up blood. He then formed a ball of ki and shot it through her chest. He dropped her on to the ground and gave nightmare moon two options: leave ponyville, or die. Fearing the worst Nightmare Moon teleported herself away from Cyre, someplace very far away. the cyan pegasus tried to chase after her.

"Come back here!" she panted. "Nighttime? Forever?" She turned her head to see Twilight carry an unconscious Spike out of the town hall as she frantically darted for the library.

Meanwhile, inside the town hall, Cyre was getting much praise for his actions.
"What are you all staring at?"

"You just beat Nightmare Moon!" One Unicorn exclaimed.

"Without even trying!" A Pegasus added.

"It wasn't exactly hard, I just wish I had put in some effort." Cyre stated as some Ponies started to cheer, most likely because they figured he was their new protector... or will at least help get Princess Celestia back. Soon enough he was surrounded by everypony, and they were all cheering. "See!? I told you this guy was amazing! Did you see that thing he did with his hands!?" Cyre wished he could stay, but he had a mission to complete. With that in mind, Cyre searched for Twilight's energy and teleported away. "Hands are... So awesome!!!" Lyra exclaimed.

I just wanted to say thank you to some of the people on fim fiction for giving me new ideas and inspiration for this story. I'm getting out of school for the summer next week so expect me to update every once in a while. This is my very first fan fiction, so feedback would be appreciated.otherwise, Keep calm and brony on.
