The former Crystal Empire has lain dormant under a blanket of eternal snow and ice. The rebuilding of Equestria has been in full swing since the most famous stablepony of the Wastes actions. But to the North, progress has yet to begin. Taking place between the stories of Finding Rainbow Dash and Memories Best Left Buried join the crystal pony Fractured Heart as he journey's to the northernmost reaches of the Crystal Empire to find the wreck of the Fractus in hopes it might help revive the Crystal Empire from its icy slumber.
