My House (Not Long After My Disappearance)
It was almost dark outside as my parents did their own thing. My mom was eating her plate as my dad was reading something on the phone. Not long, a knock was heard from the front door as my parents were curious and both got up to investigate. My dad opens the door as he saw Aaron who has a swollen nose, looking down at the ground and his parents who seemed angry.
"Oh my, what happened to Aaron?" My dad asked.
"Your son is what happened to Aaron," Aaron's mom replied.
My mother was shocked at what she heard while my father looked stoic the whole time. Aaron's father then spoke up and said, "We just came here for your son to apologize to my son."
"Well then... Augustine!" My dad calls out but got no response from me. My dad then leans over to my mom and asks, "Go grab him."
My mom obeyed as she went up the stairs and she called out my name for me to get out. But each call, there was no response, which concerned my mom. She knocks on the door but got nothing in return. She then turns the knob on the door as it was unlocked and opened it. When she looked into the room, she gasps as she saw nobody in there. She then frantically opened each and every door of the house as she searched her bedroom, the two bathrooms, and outside, but I was nowhere to be seen. My mother then ran downstairs crying as she told my father, "Augustine is not here!"
My father was confused as he responded, "What do you mean he's gone?"
"I checked everywhere, but he is nowhere in this house!"
My father couldn't believe this as he went upstairs to see if my mother was telling the truth. When he finally realizes that I was truly gone, he sat on the stairs as he only wondered where have I wandered off to. My mother began to have an anxiety attack as she couldn't believe what was happening. My father got up to comfort her and calm her down as she cried in his arms.
"Where. is. my. baby!" My mother cried out as she sobbed on my father's arms.
"Don't worry, we'll find him... wherever he has wandered to" my father replied as he tried to calm my mother down.
Aaron's parents were a bit shocked to hear that I have vanished. Meanwhile, Aaron didn't pay attention to a single thing he has heard as all he thought was, "Augustine... You are going to pay for humiliating me like that! I'll get my revenge on you, no matter the cost..."
Sugarcube Corner (Morning)
As I snored on the bed, Pinkie Pie was standing there for a while before she took a deep breath and screamed, "Good Morning!"
I jumped from this as I fell off the bed and onto the floor with a big thud. I got up slowly as I yawned and stretched my hoofs and legs. I then looked and Pinkie and said, "H-Hey Pinkie, what do you mean morning?"
"Its morning silly, you slept the entire day and night. You must have been really sleepy, I've called you a couple time before but you wouldn't budge," Pinkie explained.
"Sorry, I passed out the moment I laid down."
"Oh don't worry."
"Anyway, I'm going to just take a morning stroll around the town, okay?"
"Morning stroll?"
"Just to get myself familiar with my surroundings, considering I will be staying here."
"Oh okay."
"I'll be back if you want any help."
"No need, you go on and have fun."
With that, I packed my things and headed downstairs where I saw Mr. and Mrs. Cakes working in the kitchen as Pinkie bounced over me and headed into the kitchen to help. I then headed for the door as I opened it and saw a few ponies walking around. I sighed and started my walk around this town.
While I walked, I thought to myself, "Considering these ponies don't have any technology or any of that sort, I don't think I'm ever going to get home. However, magic exists here so there must be a teleportation spell or something like that where I can get back home.". But as I walked, I bumped into a building that looked similar to a dojo. I looked through a window and saw that there were a few ponies training and doing a few stances. I recognized this stance as it was karate. I thought about entering but also thought of what might happen if I do enter. But I needed a workout, so maybe I can learn a few tricks or something in here. So I can to the decision on entering the dojo.
As I entered, the group of ponies immediately stopped what they were doing as they turned to see me standing there. They then walked over as they began to question and intimidate me.
"Who are you?"
"What business do you have here?"
"I would think twice about coming in here."
The group said as I ignored them as I wasn't too intimidated by them. I then spoke up and asked, "I just came here to hit that punching bag. You won't mind if I..."
"What for?" Asked a stallion.
"To train for a bit," I replied.
"If you wanted to punch a bag you should have gone to a gym fella," another stallion stated.
"Well, I'm new here, so I'm not familiar with this town yet," I explained.
"Well... By all means, let see what you got," the third stallion said as the three then moved away from me.
I was then left alone with the punching bag as the three stallions took a seat to spectate my performance. A few other ponies stopped what they were doing to see who this new stallion is. I placed my satchel down as I then walked up to the punching bag and took a deep breath. I then stood upright on my hind legs and tried my best not to fall off due to this new body being different. Every pony was not sure what I was doing but waited and watched.
I then began to throw multiple secession of punches as I added a couple of kicks with them. I then began to show off and do some combos my father had taught me as most of the ponies were surprised and impressed by my style of fighting. I wasn't finished as I would move left and right or around the punching bag as I would send a flurry of punches and kicks towards the bag. I then ended it as I pulled my left leg back and sent a powerful kick to the center of the bag as it made a loud bang. I then stopped as I took a few steps back and landed on all fours. The bag had a little rip on the center as a few grains of sand were pouring out. The three stallions were shocked to see what I just did as the others were impressed by it.
"Oops, I didn't mean to hit it that hard," I said as that heated the room more.
"Impressive," someone said as every pony turned to see an old stallion standing there.
"Master," every pony said as they all bowed respectively to their master.
I did the same as the old master chuckled and said, "There is no need, young warrior."
"Well, my father always told me to always bow to any master I come across," I explained.
"Hm... tell me, who are you?"
"My name is Augustine Juarez, I'm new here in Ponyville."
"Strange, I have never heard a name like yours?"
"Well, my parents gave me that name."
"And what was that you displayed there, I am not familiar with that type of fighting stance?"
"That was Martial Arts."
"Martial Arts?"
"Yes, it is a bit similar to Karate, but focuses more on technique," I explained.
"Would you mind if you can demonstrate some more? I want to see these techniques in action," the old master asked.
"I'd be honored, who will I fight?" I asked.
"You may choose," he replied.
"Then I choose those three," I said pointing at the three stallions.
Ponies were shocked as they saw that this was going to be a 3 on 1 battle. Some think it was a bad choice while others only wanted to see more. Ponies cleared the center of the building for the three stallions and myself to fight. But what was strange is that I too felt a bit shocked at what I just said. I would never challenge 3 people, or ponies for that matter, let alone someone who knows how to fight.
I thought to myself, "Why the hell did I say that?"
"I think you are getting too confident of what you're doing," the first stallion said.
"Three on one, you are a show-off," the second one added.
"Let's just get this over with," the third said a bit angry.
As the three stood there preparing themselves, I stood up again and took a defensive stance and waited for them. The old master and the group of ponies were silent as they waited for the first one to make their move. The three didn't know what to do as they couldn't come up with a plan to take me down as two then rushed me from my sides. The two stallions jumped in the air as they extended their legs to kick me. I stood still as I then pulled my hooves to the side and blocked both of their kicks. The third stallion then rushed me as he jumped in the air and extended his leg to hit me on the chest. But what everybody saw was so quick as I looped my hooves around as it swept the two stallions legs and I slammed the two onto the ground as I punched them down. I was then able to dodge the third stallions kick as I did a limbo under him. All as I did a backflip in which I kicked the stallion in the head as he slammed on the ground hard.
Everybody was so stunned as I stocked the landing and smiled. Most were speechless as other complimented me on my performance.
But the three stallions weren't finished as they all got up and rushed me altogether. The three reeled their hooves and threw it forward to land a punch. But I quickly blocked each of their punches as they began to throw more and more by the second. I would either block or dodge each of their punches as the spectators were astounded.
"How come you want to take us on, and only dodge it all like a coward!" The Stallion said as he continued to send a barrage of punches.
"I wouldn't be so sure," I stated as I continued to dodge.
As they continued to throw punches, I waited for them to throw each punch at the same time. As I predicted, the three reeled their hooves back and threw it at the same time. I jumped in the air and did a front flip as the three punched each other. They groaned from the pain but only grew angry at each other.
"I don't get it! How is it that you are faster than us?!" The stallion asked.
"It's not that I'm faster, its because you three are fighting individually. I clearly saw this and took advantage of it," I explained.
I then heard someone clapping their hooves together as I turned around and saw that it was the master. He was smiling and was astounded by my performance.
"Excellent demonstration there Augustine," he complimented.
"Thank you," I said bowing to him.
"You were amazing."
"That was awesome what you did!"
"Teach me!"
"That was so fast!"
"You seem like the stallion I should be hanging out with," the group complimented as they respected me.
"Hehe... Well, I better be on my way," I said as I picked up my satchel and headed for the door.
"Leaving so soon?" The old master said.
"Sorry, but I wanted to get familiar around this town, I'll swing by tomorrow, but right now, I gotta go," I explained.
"One more question, how come you don't have your cutie mark?" The old master asked.
"I... I still haven't found my, special talent. It will come to me soon," I said as I made my way out of the dojo.
As I left, I sighed as they didn't ask any more questions about me. I then started to walk ahead and continue my sightseeing and trying to remember each place. But I then couldn't concentrate as many things clouded my mind. I found a bench that I would soon sit on and relax to clear my mind. There are many questions about this place that I want answers, but I can't just outright ask some pony.
Wait, why did I just say that? This place was no starting to creep me out as it felt weird and different from Earth. Other than the peaceful and colorful surroundings of this place, I can't help but feel something strange on my horn. I began to rub it as I then began to get a headache again and rubbed my head. I groaned from this pain as it doesn't seem to go away. I decided I needed to find a place where I can meditate and clear my mind. I got up as I made my way to god knows where since I'm still new to this world. I then stopped at a tree that had some shade for me to get cover. I placed my stuff on a branch and sat down as I crossed my legs. I then sat up straight and closed my eyes as I began to relax and clear my head.
As time passed by, a yellow pegasus with a pink mane decided to have a picnic with 4 sorts of small animals. She has a basket with countless foods for her animals as well as a white bunny and a ferret sitting inside. Two birds were nestled on her back as they chirped on and on. She was walking to a spot where they always settle down, but Fluttershy stopped as she saw a unicorn that appears to be sitting down and has his eyes closed. She began to feel nervous and wanted to ask politely if I could move but couldn't help herself to ask.
"Um, excuse me, sir?" The yellow pegasus asked but I couldn't hear her.
"Um, excuse me..." She asked again but met the same results.
The white bunny grew tired and hopped out of the basket and made his way towards me. The yellow pegasus wanted to stop the bunny but was too scared. The bunny then stopped right next to my leg as he then proceeds to repeatedly tap me with his leg. This caught my attention as I opened my eyes and turned to see the bunny pointing at something. I looked and saw a yellow pegasus standing there as she hid behind her mane in fear.
"H-Hello... Can I help you?" I asked.
"Um, I was just wondering um... if you can please move from that spot," she replied but I could barely hear her request.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you, can you say that again?" I asked as I walked closer to her but she stepped back in fear. I felt kind of bad for some reason as I walked up to her and said, "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you or anything. What's your name, mine is Augustine."
She then looked up from her mane as said softly, "M-My name is Fluttershy."
"Nice to meet you Fluttershy, would you mind telling me what you asked for?"
"Um... I was just wondering if you could um... move from that spot. My friends and I always have a picnic there," Fluttershy asked.
"Oh, say no more, I'm sorry for taking your spot. I'll just be over on that tree now," I said as I then walked over to pick up my satchel when I saw the bunny staring at me. I smiled as I reached over and wanted to pet it, but it backed away a bit. I then kneeled down as I assured it, "It's okay."
I reached over again as the bunny only stood still and waited. I then touched it as I began to smoothly pet the bunnies head. He seemed to like it as I could see him smile. Fluttershy saw this and was surprised to see that her pet bunny was opening up to me. I chuckled a bit as I stopped and turned to Fluttershy and said, "It was nice meeting you Fluttershy, enjoy your picnic."
As I was about to walk away, Fluttershy said, "Wait!"
I stopped and turned to see what she wanted. She then asked, "Augustine, you can stay here, if that is alright with you?"
"Um... sure, thanks," I said as I turned around and stood there.
Fluttershy smiled as she pulled out a picnic blanket and laid it on the ground. She then placed the basket on the center as her animals surrounded her. She giggles as she looks at me and motioned me to sit down. I did so and sat down as I watched her feed her 4 animals. Fluttershy then passed some food to me as I held out my hoof and was poured some seeds. I then held my hoof up as the two birds flew over and began to peck on the seeds. I chuckled at this as I could feel a bit of poke coming from their beaks.
"So, Augustine, if you um don't mind me asking ... what were you doing earlier?" Fluttershy asked.
"I was just meditating, a lot of things were in my mind I began to get a headache," I explained.
"What kind of things?"
"Just feeling..." I said thinking about my family as I added, "Homesick."
"Are you not from Ponyville?"
"No, I'm from..." I said not know what to say. I then thought I could give a little lie but the truth as well as I, added, "The United States of America."
Fluttershy was unsure of this place and asked, "The United States of America? I've never heard of that place before?"
"It's really far away from this place. That's why I feel a bit homesick."
"You miss your family?"
"So much... But I know that even when I'm far away from them, they still love me," I explained. That is when the birds landed on my mane as the bunny has jumped next to me and nuzzled on me. The ferret walked around before climbing on my back and laid down on my neck as it wrapped itself around me. I chuckled from this was a rare sight for me.
"Well, I'm glad you are starting to feel better," Fluttershy assured as she reached over to the basket.
"Thank you Fluttershy," I said which made her smile and blush a bit. "By the way, does this little guy have a name?"
"His name is Angel," Fluttershy replied.
"Angel, that's a nice name for you," I said to the bunny as he nodded in agreement. I chuckled at this as it fascinated me to see that a bunny can understand me. Fluttershy smiled at seeing her animals opening up to me.
Based on what I can guess, this place has regular ponies, unicorns, and pegasi. But I wasn't sure if I was sure, so I then asked Fluttershy a question.
"So Fluttershy can I ask you a question?"
"Um... sure?"
"You're a pegasus right?"
"Um... Yes?"
"Ok, I just wanted to make sure. Sorry, I'm um... not that good at socializing with peop-- I mean, ponies," I said rubbing my head nervously.
"Its ok, I get nervous too. But you seem like a nice pony to talk to," Fluttershy assured.
"Thanks, Fluttershy, you seem like a nice pony to talk to as well," I said as I could see her cheeks turn pink from blushing.
I smiled as her animals continued to snuggle against me. I chuckled as I petted each of them as they all loved it. Fluttershy giggled at seeing her animals being too kind and happy towards me.
A few hours later
As Fluttershy and I walked around Ponyville, we would exchange stories of our lives and talk about the things we like. That is when Fluttershy noticed that I have no cutie mark and questioned it.
"Augustine, if it's alright to ask you... why do you not have a cutie mark?" She asked.
"Well, I still haven't found my special talent yet," I simply explained.
"Do you ever wonder what you might get?"
"I do, but I don't want to put too much thought into trying to find it. It will come to me when the timing is right."
"WOAH WOAH WOAH!!" A Pegasus screamed out as I barely saw a glimpse of her. Before I could react, she crashed into me full force onto the ground. Fluttershy covered herself with her wings as she then gasped and rushed over to help me.
"Oh my, are you alright?" Fluttershy asked as she extended her hoof.
"Aye aye aye... Ow, I'm fine," I said as I grabbed onto Fluttershy's hoof and stood up. I then turned to the pegasus that crashed into me as she stood up and had a nervous smile. "Watch where you fly next time."
"What's that suppose to mean?" The pegasus questioned as she gave me a serious look.
"Don't think of it as a threat or anything like that mam, I am only giving you a heads up," I assured.
"Hm... I got my eye on you," she stated as she then turned to Fluttershy and asked, "Fluttershy, you know this pony?"
"I do, and his name is Augustine Juarez," Fluttershy introduced.
"Wait wait wait... you're Augustine?"
"Yes, and you are?"
"The name's Rainbow Dash, fastest pegasus in all of Equestria!" She said as she pounded her chest.
"Nice to meet you, and how do you know my name?"
"I've been hearing around town about some pony who was able to go hoof to hoof against three stallions in the dojo. I asked who this pony was and told me your name, which is a pretty weird name for a pony. Anyway, I flew around for a while to look for you to ask you something but I couldn't find you, until now," Rainbow explained.
"Ok... and what is it you want to ask?" I questioned.
"Um... I was just wondering if you can... teach me?" She asked.
This caught me by surprise as I then asked, "Why do you want me to teach you?"
"Look, I'm pretty tough to handle any pony, but I want to get stronger and faster than ever before. And after hearing what you did, I knew I had to find you, so you can train me to become stronger and faster," Rainbow explained.
"I'm flattered," I said as I rubbed my chin and pondered off on this for a moment as Rainbow began to feel nervous and a bit impatient. I then sighed as I added, "Fine..."
"F-Fine what?" Rainbow questioned.
"I'll train you."
Rainbow Dash flew up as she cheered on and hoof pumped the air. She flew over towards me and said, "Meet me next to Sweet Apple Acres, thank you so much for this, bye!"
She then flew off leaving a Rainbow trail behind her. I sighed as I had to go through this, but I'm not really good at explaining things easily. Plus, teaching someone is something I'm not good at either, seeing I am still a student to my father.
As I thought about my situation, Fluttershy got my attention as I snapped back to reality, seeing Fluttershy waving her hoof in front of my face.
"Oh, sorry Fluttershy, I was thinking about something. What's up?" I questioned.
"I just wanted to tell you that I must head back to my home," She answered.
"It's alright, it was so nice meeting Fluttershy, we should hang out sometime later on,"I suggested.
"That would be lovely, it was nice meeting you too," Fluttershy agreed as she turned around and added, "Bye."
"Bye," I waved as I then turned and headed to Ponyville.
As I walked, ponies around me are somewhat changed as they use to look at me funny. But now they seemed surprised and looked like they recognize me. I, however, didn't care and just tried to ignore the eyes glued to my back. But that is when a white unicorn mare ran over and hid me in a cloak.
"What do you think you're doing out here?!" She asked as she took me to god knows where.
"Walking? Why else?" I replied.
"Come, you simply must hide from the photographers!" She demanded as I was being pulled into a building.
As we entered, she removed the cloak as she dragged me to what seemed to be a dressing room. She began to float a couple of clothing around the air as she would look at them to see what is best for me.
"I... I'm sorry mam, but who are you?" I questioned.
"Oh, where are my manners, my name is Rarity, it is a pleasure to meet you after hearing the rumors about you," she said as she extended her hoof.
"Augustine, it is nice to meet you, but what rumors are you hearing?" I asked.
"I don't know much, but I heard about a handsome stallion from an unknown place, who was able to go hoof to hoof against 3 other stallions. I know it sounds like nothing in the news but I've been hearing that reporters wanted to question you about it," Rarity explained.
"So why stop them from asking me questions?"
"Trust me, reporters in Ponyville are like leeches and will question you nonstop about the event."
"I guess I owe you one for saving me because the ponies around here were starting to get me creeped out when they continued to stare at me."
"Don't worry about it darling, now tell me, which outfit do you like?" Rarity asked as she pulled out a black suit and a simple black shirt and white tie with a wig.
"Eh... if I had to choose, I would go with a simple white shirt with a blue buttoned shirt on top," I explained as Rarity blinked twice at what I said.
"I... I'm sorry darling, but I'm not familiar with what you requested?"
"Don't get offended or anything, but suits and ties are not my things, I prefer casual clothes."
"Oh, I see... by the way, where are you from? Manehattan?"
"Uh... The United States of America?"
Rarity gave me a confused look as she said, "I've never heard of that place before?"
"It's really far away from Ponyville."
I was waiting for her to say something but she kept a confused face which made me think that she saw past my lie.
"A stallion from a faraway place?! You must be from a different kingdom than here in Equestria!"
"Uh... y-yeah," I agreed to relieve a bit of nervousness that swelled up.
"So the style of clothing you explained to me is what you wear back in your kingdom?"
"Exactly."
"Oh, then we must get to work on your clothes! Plus, I simply must learn more about your kingdom."
"I'm sorry, get to work on what?"
"Well, I need to measure your size and length of your body darling. But don't worry, it will only take a few minutes."
I groaned as I followed her inside a room where we got to work on my clothes. Meanwhile, as I walked, I thought to myself as I said, "Why the hell did I let myself get into this mess?"

In the wrong place... At the wrong time...
A Mysterious Cyan Gem? What is this place? [Edited]
School has just ended as everybody is leaving to either go home or to the nearby fast food restaurants. But I on the other hand, like spend my time with my family and I have this passion to be a martial artist. My name is Augustine Juarez. I am 18 years old and almost out of High School. The days go by pretty fast if you ask me... I go to school for 6-7 hours, 5 days a week... I then walk home where I would spend my time with my family, practice martial arts with my father, do my homework, or just chill out in my backyard laying in my hammock, rinse and repeat. Life is great for me, but I got this feeling in my heart... Like it is telling me that I will become more than just another human on Earth. But I put those thoughts on hold when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I reached in to grab it and saw it was a friend of mine.
"Hello?" I said on the phone.
"Hey what's up Auggie!" My friend said on the other line.
"Oh hey Aaron, nothing much just walking home, what about you?"
"Oh well, I was hoping if you would like to join me. I got some ladies coming with us."
I sighed in annoyance before telling him, "Fine I'll go, but not to just talk with the ladies, just to hang out."
"Same old Auggie... When are you ever going to get a girl man?"
"I don't want just some girl, I want a girlfriend who we understand each other."
"Whatever man, meet us at the edge of the woods next to the abandoned house."
"Don't tell me we are going to the abandoned house."
"No, don't be silly... We will be hanging out inside the woods. Why? Are you chickening out?"
"I'm not scared, it's just a stupid idea."
"*buck buck bukock!*"
"Why am I still your friend by the way?"
"Alright alright... Well anyway, meet us there in a few minutes."
"Alright see you later."
"Bye Auggie."
"Bye."
With that, I sighed about my friend and his dumb idea. I then turned around to head towards the abandoned house. But I then got this feeling again, like my heart was telling me to go into the woods. Although, my mind was trying to conflict with my heart as I walked blindly past the abandoned house.
"Auggie!!" My friend yells out.
I snapped back to reality as I turned to see my friend and two girls with him. I sighed and made my way to the three that were sitting on a bench.
"Hey there Aaron," I said waving at my friend before turning to the two girls and nodded at them saying, "Ladies."
The two girls giggled at me in which I rolled my eyes in annoyance and turned back to Aaron.
"Mind introduce them to me?" I said.
"Oh right... Auggie, meet Anna and Beth," Aaron said motioning his hand to the two.
"Ladies this here is--"
"The names Augustine Juarez,"I said waving at them.
"Nice to meet you, Augustine," Anna said.
"You're cute," Beth said.
"Okay... So Aaron, what's this about going into the woods?" I asked.
"Well, you remember this old story that there is something inside the woods?" He questioned.
"Yeah... I heard that if you find this thing, there is no way for you come back," I said which made the two girls look at each other with a worried expression.
"Why don't you say we go and find the thing or whatever it is," Aaron said walking on the dirt road leading up to the inside of the woods.
"Are you crazy, no way!?" Anna yells out.
"Yeah, I don't want to get lost in there," Beth added.
But they were soon shocked when they saw me walking on the dirt path. I turned around with a confused look on my face.
"What's wrong? You scared?" I said giving them a smirk.
"Pff... Of course not Auggie," Aaron said.
"I was talking to the girls,"
"Oh..."
"Well, are you too scared?"
"This seems like a bad idea," Anna said walking up to us.
"If Augustine isn't scared, then I am not," Beth said as she walked up to me with a smile.
I sighed and continued walking down the dirt path. The three then soon followed behind me.
As we continued on our way, going deeper into the woods, the girls would cling on to me, while Aaron seemed a bit jealous of what he is seeing. The woods seemed different than usual, it felt ominous and... more creepy than the last time I walked in here. Birds would fly over our heads, and rustled can be heard from nearby bushes. The girls would freak out a bit from each and every noise, while Aaron and I kept a stoic expression and continued walking.
"Aren't you scared Aaron?" Anna asked.
"Maybe a little," Aaron replied looking around the woods.
I then motioned my arms like I'm flying as I bobbed my head back and forth like a chicken. The girls giggled at this while Aaron got angry and annoyed by it and said, "Thanks, Auggie."
While we slowly walked along the path, I turned around and asked the group, "Hey, do you guys know about this urban myth that abandoned house?"
"No," Beth replied.
"What urban myth?" Anna added.
"Well, it's about this lady who everybody thought she was crazy or something. She would take about spells and magic and that they are real. But nobody believed her... And one day, everybody didn't hear the lady saying about spells and magic as she was nowhere to be seen or heard. That house is the exact house of the lady I'm talking about," I explained.
"What happened to the lady?" Beth asked feeling a bit frightened.
"Nobody knows... Some say she died that day and that her ghost haunts the place... Others say she gave up and moved on to a different house and left town... I, however, think that she was on to something," I replied.
"Auggie, you can't honestly believe this myth?" Aaron questioned.
"You never know Aaron, I'm not saying I am a true believer, but I'm saying that every story can't just be made up on the spot. They all come from somewhere," I replied.
"Right... and are you going to telling me that bigfoot exists?" Aaron said which made me facepalm my forehead.
"You cannot be serious... I'm not even going to start with your dumbass, let's just see where we going," I said as the three followed me.
While walking through the woods, a growl could be heard from behind us. The girls looped around in a panic and hid behind me and Aaron. I looked around to see what made that noise, but couldn't find the source. Aaron was feeling a bit nervous and wanted to flee, but he wanted to show Anna that he wasn't scared. The growl was heard again and that is when I turned to the three and whispered to them.
"On my go, we book it that way!! No questions just go!!" I whispered as the three nodded their heads in fear.
The growls were then getting louder and louder until the bushes behind me were rustling violently. The three were panicking, while I stood still, waiting for the right moment.
"GO!!!" I yelled out as the four of us ran for our lives.
After a moment of us running away, out of the bushes came a fox. It looked at us as we were running but ignored that and ran off with its food.
As we ran, the three were sprinting for their lives while I jogged behind them, holding a snicker. I knew from the growl that it was something small, and pranking them was better than I expected. I was about to call them back, but I wasn't paying attention as I fell into a hole that made me scream as it echoed throughout the woods. The three turned around to see me disappear and were scared shitless.
"Oh my god!! Where is Augustine?!" Beth said in a worried but frightened tone.
"Auggie you better not be messing with us!! Come out now!!" Aaron yelled out.
"Guys, I think he's gone?" Anna said.
"No... He can't be. He is just messing with us!" Aaron said.
"Listen..." Anna said.
The three fell silent as they heard absolutely nothing. Not even a bird can be heard chirping in the woods. It was dead silent, which frightened the three even more.
"I-I think we should go looking for him?!" Beth suggested.
"No way, I've been hanging with Auggie for a long time since elementary school. He's pulled these kinds of pranks before," Aaron retorted.
"Then why didn't you call him out on that?!" Anna yelled out.
"This happens a lot and he always comes out laughing at everyone, but this time... I'm either sure he has something new planning, or... He really is in danger?" Aaron thought hard as he tried to figure it out.
"Well I'm going to go and find Augustine, are you two coming with me?" Beth asked as she was already walking away.
"Wait up!" Aaron yelled out as he almost tripped on a branch.
Anna followed soon and the three walked back where they ran and looked around to see if I either fell from a hole or in hiding around to scare them.
Meanwhile, after I fell down into a hole of some kind and slammed onto the ground. I got up in pain as I looked up at the hole which was roughly 10 feet high. I sighed as I looked around, but found that it was pitch black. I then saw a room that had something glowing inside. Bugs were walking everywhere which made me shiver in disgust, but I sucked it up and walked forward. I know yelling from the hole won't help because the three were either still running away or be terrified of something screaming in the woods.
As I continued the one path in the tunnel, this place has this creepy vibe that made me uncomfortable. But while I walked, deeper and deeper into this tunnel, Aaron, Anna, and Beth just walked past the hole as they called out for me. But while they called out for me, I was too far inside to hear anything from the hole.
As I continued down the path, I arrived at the spot that had something shining inside. That is when I saw a cyan gem sitting on a pillar as light from the torch that was still burning, hit it, creating the shine. I walked forward as I examined the gem and its shine.
"This place reminds me of Indiana Jones," I said to myself.
I was obligated to take it right off the bat, but this gem has something that is hard to resist. My heart was acting up again which made me frustrated until something shocked me. When I got closer, the cyan gem began to glow brighter. I made my decision and approached the gem as it glowed brighter with every step. I reached out to grab it, as the glow died down as soon as I touched it. It felt a bit heavy when I had it in my hand. But when I measured it, a doorway opened up on my right. It was pitch black as I couldn't see a thing. I then remembered I had my phone that has a flashlight, but when I pulled it out, I could see that the screen was crack. I groaned as it wouldn't turn on, not knowing what to do next. That is when the gem in my hand decided to glow brightly as it was bright enough to light the entire room I am in. I looked at it as I was skeptical of this object, but couldn't argue with the results as I then made my way to the doorway.
While I walked for a while, this place was covered in spider webs and moss as it felt a bit uncomfortable just looking at them. I then stopped at a spiral stairway as it showed that it was leading to what seemed like a way out. I don't know for sure, but I had to at least see where this leads me. Each step it would squeak and felt like it was going to break as I slowly continued on my way. I then reached to the top as a door with a knob was in front of me. I slowly reached over to open it as the door squeaked loudly when it opened. I looked around to see that it was a house that looked abandoned and old. The furniture was old and everything was covered in spider webs and dust. I wonder where I am as I had a look around this place. As the place looked like nobody has been here for year's, there was a picture of a woman that was smiling.
I was confused as I wondered, "Who is this lady?" I placed the picture back down and search upstairs. The entire house squeaked and felt like it could collapse on me any minute as I walked around. Not much was found as I looked inside the bathroom and closet. But then I entered the main bedroom which kind of made me scared a bit. This room had a lot more strange stuff than anywhere in this house. Lots of books were stacked across the shelf and some that were on the floor. I picked up one as I wiped the dust away to see the cover.
"Magic Spells."
I was skeptical about this as I cleaned the rest of the books and discovered the same subject, Magic. There were others that also has the subject, Ki. But these books looked like they were personal notes instead of a regular old book. I checked the front cover and saw a name that said, "Anzu Kaguya."
These books were so confusing but really tempting to read it as I picked up a couple books and stacked them inside my backpack. I then had enough of seeing this place as I made my way out of this house. As I exited the building, the surroundings looked familiar as I saw the entrance to the woods me and my friends entered. As I stepped to the sidewalk, I turned around and immediately knew this was the abandoned house. I couldn't wrap my head around this as I looked at the gem in my hand as it slowly died down. I put it in my pocket for safekeeping so I examine it later on.
Coincidentally, Aaron, Beth, and Anna walked out from the entrance looking tired and sad. I yelled out for them as their faces immediately changed and rushed over towards me. Beth was the first to get to me as she hugged me.
"Augustine!" She cries out.
"You're ok!" Anna added.
"Were you waiting here the entire fucking time?!" Aaron yells out, looking angry.
"No, I wasn't... I was behind you all when I fell in this hole," I explained.
"Why didn't you call for us?!" Aaron asked.
"Because your dumbass would still probably be running before stopping to see if I was behind you," I replied.
Aaron grew tired of this and gripped his hand as he threw a punch towards me. But I dodged it as I moved to the side and grabbed a hold of his arm and swung him forward to the ground. He groaned a bit from the hard landing as I pulled his whole arm back and kneeled on his back.
"Aaron, why do you even try?" I said sarcastically.
"Shut up! So what if you know that shit!" Aaron said as he breathed heavily on the floor.
"Enough boys!" Anna yells out pulling me back. I let go of Aaron as he slowly got up and rubbed the dirt off his clothes and cheek.
"Look were all glad you are fine Augustine... Lets just all go home for the day, ok?" Beth suggested.
"Fine by me, so long as I don't have to see this dumbass right now," I said as I turned around. Aaron then spat on my back leg as I stopped in place. Aaron was prepared for what was going to come as he tensed up for a fight. The girls felt scared and worried as they both knew they wouldn't be able to stop this. But the 3 didn't expect this as I crouched down quickly and grabbed the dirt on the floor and threw it into Aaron's eyes. He was blinded for a while, but when his vision re-focused again, all he saw was a fist in front of his face as he was then punched in the face and fell down on the floor. The girls rushed over to see him as he was knocked out cold and wasn't moving. They turned to see me as they only saw me from a far distance as I walked away from the scene. But while I walked away, I had the face of confusion as I stared at my hands and said to myself, "How the hell did I do that? It felt like a rush of energy overflowed me?"
Home
As I arrived home, I opened the door as I was greeted by my father who walked by. I smiled and made my way to my room, but I was stopped by my mother who was in the kitchen.
"How was your day Augustine?" She asked, not looking at me.
"Fine, just like every other normal day," I replied.
"Good, good, aren't you going to stay for dinner?"
"Actually I feel, really really tired right now. I was hoping I could get a quick rest," I explained.
"Oh, ok..." my mom said as I then made my way up the stairs and entered my room. My parents were then skeptical of my sudden need to rest, but put that thought on hold as they resumed doing what they were doing.
As I closed my door, I placed my backpack on the floor as I laid on the bed and sighed. I turned as I opened my backpack and pulled out the gem that was glowing slightly. I would inspect it for a while as I never saw this kind of gem before. I placed it down and took out some books about this Magic and Ki. I began read them all as it was about spells and Ki type training about focusing your mind and learning to use your energy for useful things. I had no idea what these books were talking about as half the pages were also written in a language that looked like Chinese or Japanese handwriting. But as I continued to read the books, a wave of tiredness overwhelmed me as I suddenly felt like I was about to sleep. I passed out on the bed right then and there as the gem fell on my head and landed next to my face. The gem then began to glow brighter and brighter as it began to shake violently every second. It then emitted a glow that engulfed me and the surrounding objects next to me. It then all of sudden went, Poof, as it disappeared along with me and my backpack.
Unknown Forest
As I woke up slowly, I sat up and rubbed the pain I had in my head. But when I realized something different, I had something protruding out of my head. I checked and felt it was a horn, but I then had no hands or feet but... Hooves? My body was like a horse or a pony... and my coat was a dark grey. I felt this bag behind me as I checked to see a satchel. There was a pond next to me as I got up slowly and made my way... but I couldn't balance myself as I fell into the pond. I got up from the water and saw the reflection of myself and began to panic. My hair was different too as it was messy and a bit spiky on the ends. I didn't know what was going on but I had to get out of this forest. Not long after trying to balance myself from walking, I see a way out. But as I tried getting used to walking, I heard a growling noise from behind me. I turned around to see 3 pairs of glowing yellow eyes staring into my soul. I gulp as I then booked it towards the light. I looked back to see if whatever that was, was chasing me, but as I looked back, a rock on the floor made my trip as I came tumbling down on the hill outside of the woods.
As I got up slowly, I could have sworn I heard an "Eep" noise as I looked around, but saw no one around. I got up slowly as I began to walk slowly as I was still not used to this body and looked around at my surroundings. This place was not familiar with my town as I began to panic a bit. I then saw a village or town over in the distance as I could see... Ponies?! I rubbed my eyes as I looked again to actually see ponies walking around. My brain exploded as I couldn't comprehend this.
"What the hell is this place?! Where is my house and why are there ponies?!" I thought to myself as I didn't know what to do.
I paced around for a bit before coming to a conclusion that I will have to see what this village has. I then walked slowly towards this new place and hope I could find a way to get back home.
Upon arriving at this place, it was a bit difficult trying to balance myself while I walked down the road. I was still shocked seeing a little girls fantasy world right in front of me. But I sucked it up and had a look around this place. Many ponies were having a conversation while others shopped at the markets. Fillies and colts would run around as they were having fun and the adults would laugh at some things they were being told. I couldn't believe this place as it seemed a bit similar to Earth, but a few centuries back. While I walked, some ponies would look at me and give me a weird look as they seemed to stare at my rear end. I would get uncomfortable as I noticed that every pony here has some sort of tattoo on their butt. I found a bench to sit down on as I did and sighed from this strange place. I looked up as I thought to myself, "How will I ever get home?"
But as I tried to clear my head, a happy feminine voice called out as she said, "Hi!"
This spooked me as I jumped a bit from this pony, she was a pink mare with a fluffy pink mane. She seemed to have three balloons on her butt which was weird.
"Um... Hello...?" I responded, trying to make my first impression.
"I've never seen you here in Ponyville? Are you new here?" Asked the pink mare.
"Y-Yeah... I'm new here..." I replied.
She gasps in shock as she then grabbed my hoof and shook it repeatedly and said, "Welcome to Ponyville my name is Pinkamena Diane Pie what about you mister?" in one breath.
"M-My name is Augustine... Augustine Juarez..." I replied.
"Augustine? I've never heard a be like that before?"
"W-Well, my parents gave me that name..."
"Its ok, you seemed like you're lost? Would you like a tour around Ponyville?"
"Um... S-Sure..."
"Sweet, come," Pinkie said as she grabbed my hoof and pulled me to follow her.
While we walked around this town called Ponyville, Pinkie would show me many different buildings ranging from a giant tower to a small school at the edge of Ponyville. But what still affects me strongly is that she seems so happy and joyful all the time. I've never seen somebody so happy like her. She would always jump around and hop each step she takes while she explains each building thoroughly as she seems to knows everything. We then reached to this building that looked like a giant gingerbread house.
"And this here is Sugarcube Corner, I work here," Pinkie explained.
"You work in a giant gingerbread house?" I asked, surprised.
Pinkie giggled as she said, "Uh-huh, here I work with Mr. And Mrs. Cakes." before asking me, "Say, are you hungry?"
"Um, yeah... I guess I could go for something to eat?" I replied.
"Sweet, come, follow me," she said as she grabbed my hoof and pulled me with her to enter inside this gingerbread house.
As we entered, I could smell something cooking as I then saw many cakes, cupcakes, and cookies on the counter and on tables. I was a bit shocked seeing so many sweets in one place. Pinkie giggled at my reaction and hopped over the counter and reached over to grab something.
"You just wait right there, I'll be right back," Pinkie said as she walked into the kitchen.
I obeyed as I sat at the table and waited for Pinkie. I then looked down as I didn't know if I should tell her that I am from another world or from another dimension or whatever I came from. But before I could come to a conclusion, Pinkie suddenly came back in a flash and laid out a variety of sweets for me on a plate. I didn't know what to eat as I only grabbed the cookie and took a bite out of it. I was surprised by two things... One, I was able to grab a cookie when I have no fingers to hold on to... And two, this cookie tasted so good.
Pinkie smiled as she sat down across from me and asked, "So Auggie, how come you don't have your cutie mark?"
"Cutie what?"
"Your cutie mark, you know, something that everypony here has when they find their special talent."
"Special talent?" I thought to myself as I then replied, "W-Well, I haven't found my, Cutie mark yet, you see?"
"That explains it, do you ever wonder what you could get?"
"N-No, not really. It will come to me when the time is perfect, right?"
"Uh-huh... say Auggie, you seem kinda down since I first met you? What's wrong?"
"W-Well... I just miss my parents, my family..."
"I see, feeling homesick?"
"So much, right now..."
"Don't worry Auggie, I know how you feel. I wasn't born here, but I was on a rock farm with my parents, and my two sisters. But I knew that I could be more and threw a big party for my family one day. And after seeing their excitement, I saw that I got my cutie mark from what I did. And that made me see that I must spread joy and happiness to all who is sad."
"Wow, that's a great story," I complimented.
"I know... Auggie, do you have a place to stay?"
"No, not really, I barely arrived here, so I got nowhere to sleep."
"You could sleep with me? Ooo! We could have a slumber party!"
"T-Thanks Pinkie...," I said as I then felt a bit sleepy and asked, "Pinkie you don't mind if I have a quick nap?"
"Oh not at all, come, I'll show you my room," Pinkie said as she went up the stairs. I followed behind her as I stumbled a bit from getting tired. As we made it down a hallway, Pinkie opened a door in which she entered as I followed behind her.
"Here, you can sleep on my bed, for now, I gotta do a few things downstairs with Mr. And Mrs. Cakes."
"That's alright Pinkie, thank you for this... all of this," I thanked.
"Awe it was nothing, have a good rest," Pinkie said as she left and closed the door behind her.
I was all alone as I took off my satchel and placed it on the floor as I laid down on the bed. I didn't know what was going on if I was dreaming or something, or this is all real. I rubbed my head as a headache hit me like a truck. I then felt so tired as I couldn't keep myself for being awake as I passed out on the bed.
