Digimon Tamers Despairing Hope
The Frozen Warrior and The Start of a Digital Adventure
A thousand years ago two beings known as the Warrior of Equestria and the Demon of the Moon came to the world of Equestria, one warrior that was good who saved all of Equestria but there was another one, one who wished to conquer it to rule it with an iron fist. But thanks to the Warrior , he never had the chance and thanks to him, he prevent an event that would have changed Princess Luna for the worse. And after those events, Luna had her own celebration, in fact two celebrations, when the Sunrise Celebration starts then becomes the Moonrise Celebration but when young colts and young fillies to get treats and wanting to get scared is Luna Scare Night. But also a young warrior stallion known by the name of Gold Hoof was frozen in an area that is near the border of the Dragon Lands. And the legend of the Frozen Warrior was also known by the dragons of the Dragon Lands.He has been frozen for 1000 years since the Warrior of Equestria saved all of Equestria. But then an outcast of the dragons came near where the Frozen Warrior is located.
“Why is it always me they pick on! Why is it such a crime to want to have friends!?” This dragoness said as she sobs. She is a fairly tall dragon, at around 7 foot, with silver scales and wings already grown in. She had always run away to this spot, where she liked to be alone from the pain of other dragons teasing for her differences.
Then within the ice The Frozen Warrior started wake and he startled the dragoness that was near him.
“What!? Something is in the ice!” She started to freak a bit.
The ice started to shake and the dragoness started to be curious of what is inside the ice container.
When she takes a close look she gasps in shock. “A pony!?”
That is when he started to speak from inside the ice container, “H-help me… I- I need to get out of this… container…”
Not even thinking twice she breathes fire over the ice, melting it. “Will that do?”
The ice eventually melts completely revealing a horned stallion with gold colored fur and an armor that looks similar to the Royal Guard armor that seems to be under both Celestia and Luna and he starts to speak more clearly, “Thanks… for that.”
“Well I couldn’t just leave you there to die. It’s not my way, although you got lucky it was me.” she said slightly frowning.
“Still, thank you. What is your name?” He asked her.
“Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Gold Hoof or you might of heard of the name… The Frozen Warrior.” He introduced himself.
As soon as she heard his name, her eyes go wide. “As in THE GOLD HOOF!? YOU’RE MY IDOL!”
“Yep, don’t wear it out.” He chuckles a bit.
“It is the tales that have been told in the Dragon Lands for as long as I can remember, that have made me the dragon I am today!” She has a big smile on her face.
“So, what brings you out here Selve?” He asked her again smiling.
“This is the place I come to when the other dragons bullying me get to be to much, its nice and peaceful here.” she sighs in content.
“So nothing much has changed around here.” He stated.
“Sadly most dragon think things like friends, are a source of weakness.” She stated with a bit of sadness.
“Those dragons who think that friends are a source of weakness is absolutely wrong, they don’t know how powerful friendship can be, you know what I mean.” He said with a big smile.
“I would, if I ever had a friend of my own. Sadly I don’t.” She said with a frown.
“Well, you do now.” He said to her.
“Wait what!? We just met, and you want to be my friend already!?” She asked in disbelief.
“You told me everything I needed to know, so I’ll be your friend.” He smiled bigger.
She started to tear up a bit. “THANK YOU! You have answered my prayers for a friend today.” she smiled wide.
He walks up to her and hugs her tightly, “You’re welcome Selve.” He smiled.
“Wait, did you feel that? Something is watching us.” She started to tense up.
“I do feel that Selve. Keep close to me.” He said as he prepared a spell.
“I’m not weak you know, do you think this sword on my back is for show?” She pulls out an elegant katana off her back and assumes a stance.
“I never said you were weak, I’m just saying keep close to me so we can be prepared!” He stated truthfully.
She nodded and sets herself close by, “There is three of them, I smell them.”
“Okay, be ready!” He said being prepared.
As if in response to us being ready, the three the dragon smelled came into view, and they were like nothing either of us had ever seen, one looks like a dragon like creature with gold colored claws with a scar on the left eye and has a shorter stature than the other two, for the lupine like creature, it had yellow fur with a white fur underbelly and white fluff with some purple sleeves on her arms and taller than the dragon like creature but not taller than the goblin like creature, for the goblin like creature, larger than the two has a green coloration and a big underbite. “Alright then, that is weird.”
“What are those?!” He said being surprised.
“Those two, they seem to be fighting the bigger one. Lets even those odds.” The dragoness charges at the green one.
“Hm? Oh lookie here, a small… pipsqueak of a dragon.” The green one said showing off his immense size to her.
“That’s what you think!” she swings her sword with all her power at the green one. To her shock it doesn’t seem to do much.
“Hey you two! We coordinate an attack, so we can take down this guy’s ugly mug!” said the dragon like creature
“With a team attack, we can end him for good! You with us?” said the kitsune like creature
“Yeah, that is a good idea. ALTOGETHER!” Gold Hoof said charging an attack spell.
She engulfs her blade in flames and readies herself. “On their mark.”
Gold Hoof is shining with his attack, “I agree.”
“BLACK PEPPER STRIKE!” He said using his primary move.
“DIAMOND STORM!” the other one said as it launched its attack. As soon as it did that selve quickly ran up to the green one and cut it with her flaming blade.
“Ow! That stung!” The green one said.
“Crap that didn’t do the deed!” The dragon said worried.
“Hehe, that actually stung, looks like this place isn’t where I should be. Lucky for you guys that you are not my mission. So goodbye losers!” He said running at a fast pace.
“I said… GOODBYE!” He punched her so hard that she crashed into a rock.
“OW! Even if it kills me, you are not getting away! You will do to much harm!” as Selve says that kitsune like creature is in slight awe of her will. “Even though she has no idea why she is fighting, she keeps fighting but why?”
“It is her code, her honor demands that he must be stopped before he does more damage.”Gold Hoof said to the kitsune like creature with a stoic look.
“Perhaps we can get along.” she says before running over to Selve. “Are you ok?”
“I’ll live but he is tough, if only we could stop him.” Selve replied back.
All of a sudden, as if that was enough. A strange device appeared in Selves clawed hands. “Whats this thing?” She asked.
“That… is a digivice.” The dragon like creature stated.
“A digivice? What does that mean?” She looked over it in awe.
“It is what helps us, the Digimon to evolve into a more powerful form.” He said to Selve.
“Alright then we must do what we can to stop this thing from completing its mission.” she feels something attached to her waist as wel. “Huh? What are these?”
“Those are modify cards, a tamer can use those to give their partner an edge in battle. Since you have that, I think you are are my tamer.” The kitsune like creature said to Selve
Then another Digivice appeared in Gold Hoof’s hoof, “Looks like I got a digivice too.”
Then the green looked at Gold Hoof, “Don’t even think of using that thing, it will bring nothing but grief.”
“Well let’s see what this card does!” she swipes a card quickly without looking.
“Speed activate.” Her digivice said on its screen and the fox starts to move a lot faster.
“What’s your name?” Gold Hoof asked the dragon like creature.
“My name is BlackAgumon.” He said to Gold Hoof.
Gold Hoof simply nodded and used his Modify Card that said Power Armor. “Digi Modify” Gold Hoof’s Digivice said as it boosted BlackAgumon’s defense.
“Oh yeah! That does the spot.” BlackAgumon smirks a bit.
“Now get him, uh what’s your name?” The dragoness asked her new partner.
“It’s Renamon.” She replied as she charges in.
“Renamon!” BlackAgumon said to Renamon.
“Right!” she starts her attack with a bit more vigor this time. “DIAMOND STORM!”
“Fire Twister!” He coated himself with his flames as he spinned towards the green one.
“Oh shit… I’m dead.” He stands in defeat as he is obliterated by the two attacks.
“Alright we did it!” Selve said smiling.
“Yes we did and who was that?” Gold Hoof asked.
“That was Ogremon, a digimon we have been tracking for quite some time. Just glad we finally got him down.” Renamon said.
“Yeah and it has been a long time since I fought. Give or take a thousand years.” BlackAgumon stated.
“Wait one THOUSAND years!?” Selve asked shocked. “How long can a Digimon live?”
“Well… for starters, a Digimon cannot truly die. And if I may ask, have you heard of the Equestrian legend of the Warrior of Equestria and the Demon of the Moon?” He asked Selve.
“Yes I have, but what does that have to do with you?” She asks.
“Well… I’m the Warrior of Equestria from the legend. And about the Demon of the Moon, his name is Devimon” He answered her.
“That sounds like a bad guy, am I wrong?” She asks him again.
“He is bad guy.” He answered her again.
“Well then, we need to tell the leaders of the ponies then, they will know what to do I just know it.” she said with determination.
“I believe the place is called Canterlot.” She told him.
“That’s right, thanks Rena.” He thanks her.
“No problem Black.” she replied back.
“So, what would be the quickest way to get there? Any thoughts?” Black asked them.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been frozen, so I wouldn’t know. What about you Selve?” He asked her.
“Our best bet is to head to a small town called Ponyville, then get a train from there.” Selve smiled.
“Oh, is that a new town in Equestria? That’s good that things got better in Equestria since I last seen it.” He said to them.
“It’s been around for about 600 years but ya things have got better, the ponies are in a four race alliance with the griffons, yaks, and minotaurs.” She said with a big smile.
“Wow, things have definitely got better for Equestria, that’s good and how’s Celestia and Luna been doing?” He asked Selve.
“They have been leading Equestria into a golden age, and things are looking up for Luna since your time, if the rumours I have heard are to be believed.” she said.
“That’s great! I can’t wait to see them again, it’s been AGES since I’ve seen them!” He said to Selve happily.
“Well we better warn them, it’s likely they could be targeted by whoever order Ogremon.” Selve said.
“Yes indeed, we better go.” He said to Selve, “And would you like join us Selve?” Gold Hoof asked her.
“Yes we should stick together, to be safe.” She replied.
“Good, let’s go.” Gold Hoof said to Selve before heading out.
She nods and both her and Renamon follow him to where Ponyville is and meet up with some ponies that greet them with open arms.
“Hello. Can you point us to the train station?” Selve asked.
“Oh it’s over there.” Twilight pointed to the train station, “And why is a dragon like you doing here?” She asked.
“We have news of grave importance that your leaders must hear as soon as possible.” Selve said.
“Okay, I hope you can get to make them believe you…” She said
“Wait a second, your Twilight Sparkle! Maybe you can send word ahead for us perhaps?” Selve asked.
“I’ll try, SPIKE!” She calls for Spike.
“I’m coming Twilight!” he said running to us.
“I need you to send a letter to Princess Celestia and Prince Luna sending word for them.” She points to us.
“Alright then, not the usual but can do. Tell me what you want to say.” he asked pointing to the pony in our group.
“Tell them an old friend is coming with a group consisting of… two warriors and a dragon.” He said to Spike, “And that is it.”
“Oh and mention that we know the truth of the demon of the moon.” Selve added.
“There we go, it’s all down.” Spike said then burn it with his fire breathe.
“Good and thank you Spike.” Gold Hoof said to Spike.
“You’re welcome, say while you are here can you perhaps help me with something?” Spike asked.
“What is it?” Gold Hoof asked.
“For some reason I feel like you might know about something I found, can you come with me please?” Spike asked.
“Sure I can, I’ll follow you.” Gold Hoof answered.
“I’ll come as well.” BlackAgumon answered too.
He leads them back to the library. “Come on in, its inside.”
They both go inside finding a Digiegg and BlackAgumon said, “That’s a digiegg! What is a digiegg doing here?!”
“Well a while back when the girls found the Elements I found this egg- wait why is it glowing!?” Spike said freaking out.
“Kid, that egg is about to hatch!” BlackAgumon said to Spike.
“Really!?” The egg starts to crack open.
“Yes it is kid!” BlackAgumon said to Spike again.
The egg cracks fully open.
“Heh, a new Digimon has been born.” BlackAgumon said.
From the egg a red dinosaur looking thing with bits of black and a strange symbol on its chest stands.
“What’s your name kid?” BlackAgumon asked the red dinosaur.
“It’s Guilmon I think?” He replied back.
“Welcome to Equestria, Guilmon.” BlackAgumon said as he smile gently.
“Equestriamon?” he asked cutely.
“Kid, you crack me up!” BlackAgumon said as he laughed heartily.
“What’s so funny?” he asked back confused.
“Been a while since I’ve laughed, so what is a Digimon like you doing here?” He asked Guilmon.
“Well all he can remember is being sent to this world as a egg, so no idea to be honest?” Guilmon said
“Hmm, that is strange… so you have no memory of how you got here… that’s question that needs to be answered later.” BlackAgumon stated, “So, how long have you been standing there, Renamon?”
“Only for a short while, have to make sure to stay on guard.” Renamon replied.
“That’s good thinking, keep on guard for any enemy Digimon that may be nearby.” He stated to Renamon.
“That’s the plan we need to keep our tamers safe.” she answered back.
“Hmm, Spike, have you heard of the legend of the Demon of the Moon?” BlackAgumon asked.
“That old ponies tale? Yes but what does that have anything to do with what’s going on right now?” Spike said.
“Well that old ponies tale… is completely true.” He said to Spike, “After all, I was there to see it happen.”
“Say what!? But the only ones there where the demon, the sisters, and-” Spikes eyes go wide as he realizes who this strange thing in front of him was. “Your the warrior in the legend aren’t you?”
BlackAgumon just simply nodded in response to Spike’s question.
“So what are you? What is he? Why me?” Spike asked him.
“I, the Demon of the Moon and Guilmon are Digimon.” He answered Spike’s question.
“Digimon? What’s that? Why did I get this with the egg?” Spike show him a digivice.
“A Digimon is a creature that is from a place known as the Digital World and what you are holding is a Digivice, it helps us evolve into 5 levels. What you see for me level is called the Rookie level, the next one is called Champion level, then after that is called the Ultimate Level, then comes Mega Level but the one above Mega is called Super Ultimate or you could call it the Ultra level.” He explained in great detail.
“Alright, but why did I get one?” Spike asked.
“Why? You are a Tamer, Spike.” He replied answering.
“Wait what’s a Tamer!?” Spike asks. “Tamer of what?”
“A Tamer is someone who has a Digimon. You have been given a great opportunity, Spike.” He explained again.
“I am important? YES! For once I am the one to go off on an adventure!” He smiled.
“But know this Spike, this will not be an easy path, it WILL be dangerous, do you understand?” BlackAgumon said to Spike.
“For so long, I have been on the sidelines, unable to help my friends, for them I will risk any danger!” Spike said with a fire in his eyes.
“That is what I needed to hear.” Black smiled at Spike.
“So then does that mean I should go with you?” he asked.
“It is very wise to come with us. For if you stay here, you will put a lot of innocent ponies in danger.”
“Then you can count on me! Just give me some time to gather up some things.” Spike heads to his room and starts gathering a few things.
“Spike, where are you going?” Twilight asked worriedly.
“I have to go with them, to stay means I put you all in danger. As I am like them, a digimon tamer.” He explains.
“What?! Are you serious? That means I’ll have to keep you away from all this! You can’t go with them, you’ll be in danger too!” Twilight said scared for Spike’s safety.
“No matter if I stay or go, I will be in danger but this way no one else gets caught in the crossfire! You have to see that!” he replied.
“But… I want you safe! I can’t lose you!” She said truly worried.
“I don’t want to lose you either, and that could happen if I stay! So please, for both our sakes, let me go!” Spike said with a tear going down his face.
“I’m afraid that I agree Ms Sparkle, he cannot stay here, for if he does, Ponyville will be destroyed.” BlackAgumon stated with care.
She hesitantly says, “O-okay… and Spike, promise me that you will be safe, okay?”
“On my pride, I will do everything I can to stay safe. That’s the best I can promise.” Spike states.
“We all shall, that is a promise.” Renamon said with a smile as Spike clips his cards and digivice to a belt, and grabs some gems.
“Thank you all for doing this.” She smiles a tiny bit.
“We won’t be the only ones watching him, that Guilmon will be his partner more likely than not, and do everything he can to keep Spike safe.” Renamon says.
She sighs in defeat, “Spike, be careful, okay? I may not know them but I trust them well enough to get you to the Princess’ castle.”
“I pinkie promise that I won’t go out of my way to get in trouble.” He does the motions.
“Selve!” BlackAgumon called for Selve.
“Yes my friend?” Selve asked.
“Spike will be coming with us, do you have any objections?” He said to her
“No not really, but-wait he is one of us isn’t he?” she asked.
“Yes he is one of us, Selve.” He answered her.
“Alright, then yes he needs to come with us. Plus he needs to learn things about being a dragon as well.” Selve smiles.
“Don’t be too rough on him, he is still young.” Gold Hoof stated.
“I won’t but these ponies have not known how to feed him right, he should be twice as tall as he is right now.” Selve said.
“What do you mean that we haven’t fed him right?” Twilight asks.
“You have likely only feed him gems and plants right?” Selve asked.
“Yeah? Why?” She asked again.
“To grow right, dragons need protein, in other words, meat.” Selve stated.
“O-oh… that makes sense…” She said with a bit of a scared tone.
“Oh, that makes more sense.” She said more calmly.
“So for now, I will give him a small amount of fish, to help him get used to eating meat, and from there work with him as we travel.” Selve said.
“Good but like with Spike, all of you be careful…” She said to all of them.
“It won’t matter in my case, I have no one back home who would care if I died.” Selve starts to tear up.
“Don’t lie Selve, you do have someone does care about you, don’t they?” Gold Hoof asks.
“I am called the outcast for a reason, no one back in the Dragon Lands cares about friends, they think it’s a weakness to have one.” she sighed.
Gold Hoof sighed in defeat, “I’m sorry…”
“Its ok, it’s something I have learned to accept. There is not a lot one dragoness can do to change that.” Selve said sadly.
“Maybe you are not alone on this, there are may be others that feel the same way but we don’t know for certain.” Gold Hoof said trying to give her hope.
“Perhaps you are right, til I know for sure. I will stay safe.” she says with a small smile.
“But anyways, when is that letter coming?” Gold Hoof asked.
“If I know Celestia, about now.” Just as Spike said that, he burps up a letter.
“That’s good and what does it say?” Gold Hoof asked.
“She wants us to meet her and Luna in Canterlot.” Spike said.
“Good, let’s go.” Gold Hoof said as he and the others went to the train station and boarded the Canterlot Express Train.
As Selve boards the train, she gets a few odd looks from the ponies.
“Look elsewhere busybodies.” BlackAgumon said as other give him a blank stare.
“Yeah… but for me…” Gold Hoof said as a few mares give him some flirtatious looks, “It’s the opposite…”
“Relax, they just like your looks, it’s not the same as with me.”
“You may not know this but when I became a part of the Royal Guard of Equestria, there were a lot of mares that… well, had more than an infatuation with me…” He said worriedly.
“It’s been a long time, odds are they don’t even know your name.” Selve mentioned.
“Wait til you get to… Canterlot… it has a history of remembering my name…” He said more worriedly.
“How much of a history?” BlackAgumon asked feeling wary of his Tamer.
“Let’s just say… you’ll find out very soon.” He said feeling a bit scared.
“Relax, is not like they will attack you on site.” Selve said.
“I’m not worried that, I’m more worried about the mares… they would drink me dry…” He said grimly
“Ok that's just silly, drink you dry of what?” Renamon asked.
“You don’t want to know…” His expression darkened.
“What he is saying is…” BlackAgumon told her what Gold Hoof was saying in a quiet whisper.
“WHAT!? You may not be my Tamer but if they so much as move wrong, I WILL END THEM!” Renamon says with massive rage.
“YIKES!” Gold Hoof yelped hiding behind a train seat.
“HEY! STOP SCARING MY TAMER!” BlackAgumon yelled at Renamon.
“I’m sorry I just get angry when people take advantage of others.” she replied back.
“Oh, thanks Renamon.” He said more calmly.
“Of course, you’re a friend.” she smiled.
“We need to explain about the threat we face now.” Selve said.
“Yeah, we need to explain about the threat we now face, about Devimon.” He said with utter seriousness in his face.
“Yes we do, and fast, who is telling how long until they try to go after them.” Renamon added in.
“Agreed, though the demon lords are a big threat, none are bigger than Devimon…” He added more.
“For now, we need to relax.” Selve said.
“Yeah we all do need to relax for now.” Gold Hoof stated as he and the others sleep.

Digimon Tamers Despairing Hope
The returning Digimon warrior! BlackGreymon arrives again!
After the train ride from Ponyville to Canterlot, they were met by the royal guard to inspect BlackAgumon and Renamon to see if they have weapons on them. And then two ponies came up, one unicorn stallion and one unicorn mare. And both of them said, “Welcome to Canterlot, home of the Noble Elite. What can we do for you?”
“We have a very important message for the princesses, where is the castle?” Selve asked.
“I’ll show the way Ms…?” The unicorn mare asked Selve for her name
“Its Selve. Nice to meet you.” She said with a smile.
“Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Fleur Di Lis. And it good to meet you as well.” Fleur said with a warm smile.
“And my name is Fancy Pants, it is swell to meet you too Selve.” He said with a bow.
“Well thanks but we must get to the princesses as soon as possible, an old foe has made his move.” Selve said with worry.
“The old foe’s name is Devimon, we need to get to Celestia and Luna.” BlackAgumon said to them.
“Did you say Devimon? I’ll come as well.” Fancy Pants said.
“How do you know that name?” Selve asked.
“Let’s just say, I’m from a long line of royals, I’m said to be the direct descendant of Princess Platinum. But right now, we all got to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to deliver the message, so stick close to me so you all won’t get lost.” He said as he was leading them to the Main Castle of Canterlot. And the rest followed him to where Princess Celestia and where Princess Luna is.
“I’m so nervous, this is my first time with royals.” Selve looks very tense.
“Don’t worry, you’ll like them Selve, so relax.” Fancy said to Selve.
She tries to as they approach the princesses.
“Fancy Pants, what is going on?” Luna asked him, “Why are these strangers… doing… here?” Looks at Gold Hoof, “S-sister… look who is here…”
“Is that? GOLD HOOF! You have returned!” Celestia practically sprints over and hugs him.
And Luna does the same.
“Sorry to break this up, but we have grave news, an ally of Devimon has come.” Selve said.
“More of a former ally of Devimon, that was one of the underlings of the Demon Lords.” BlackAgumon stated to them.
“He is likely planning his next move. We came to warn you that you are in danger.” Renamon added.
“What is your name Digimon?” Luna asked Renamon.
“I am Renamon, and this dragoness here is my partner.” she replied to Luna.
“Welcome to Equestria Renamon.” Luna said with a smile.
“Do you two remember me?” BlackAgumon asked the two princesses.
“Sister? Do we remember this Digimon?” Luna asked Celestia.
“Not as he is, but I think he might be the warrior we fought with so long ago, does the name BlackGreymon mean anything to you?” she asked BlackAgumon.
“So you do remember me, yes, I was the BlackGreymon that fought with you all those years ago.” BlackAgumon said to the two princesses.
“It has been a long time princesses.” BlackAgumon stated to them.
“But anyways, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, from what I’ve heard from BlackAgumon, I’m beginning to agree with him, I think we also need to prepare for these… Demon Lords.” Gold Hoof stated to them.
“Have you heard anything from the Digital World?” Selve asked.
“All we know is that the Demon Lords are planning to invade Equestria, that is all we know. But they are not the true threat to this world, the one we sealed long ago is the true threat. He is no longer an underling, he is the main threat now, I sensed his power… he stronger than from before… it’s very concerning…” He said to them.
“Luna, there is something we should speak of, a prophecy we were told.” Celestia reminded her sister.
“Yes we should, how about you explain it sister.” Luna said to them.
BlackAgumon gasps at the prophecy in awe, “The legend of the ten Legendary Warriors… I thought it was just myth… a superstition to instill fear in evil Digimon, but… this could change everything…”
“Exactly, this is the kind of break we need.” Renamon said with a smile.
“I cannot believe that the legendary warriors actually exist, do you Renamon?” He asked her.
“It’s hard to believe, but again this it the kind of edge that could end this fight.” she replied.
“Indeed, this could be the break we need!” He smiles.
“For now, if ANYONE shows up with a Digimon let us know alright?” Selve said.
“Indeed, we need to watchout for anyone who…” Gold Hoof said as a strange clownlike Digimon appears in front of everyone.
“Hello there.” The strange clownlike Digimon with a strange red, black and white tux and a red and black mask like face said to everyone.
“No…” BlackAgumon said with a little fear.
“NOT HIM! Anyone but him!” Renamon started to shiver in terror.
“W-who is that?!” Gold Hoof said with some fear.
“It’s power, I can barely breathe it’s so much!” Sevle said.
“Allow me to introduce myself… I am Piedmon.” Piedmon said with a wicked smile.
“Why are you here, Piedmon?!” Selve asked trying to put on a brave face.
“Simple, I have but one goal, to destroy both the Digital World and this world.” Piedmon said to simply for them to understand his main goal
“We are going to stop you!” Renamon said with resolve.
“Do you not remember the last time we fought?” Piedmon said to Renamon very coldy.
“We can’t just stand back and do nothing, we must fight!” she replies back readying herself.
“W-where is he?!” Gold Hoof asked. “Wait what is he up to!?” Selve asked as they all tensed up.
“Keep your guard up, everyone, he’s at an extremely fast speed.” BlackAgumon said to everyone. And after he said that a virus clone Gaogamon appeared in front of them.
“WHAT IS THAT!?” Selve starts to panic.
“Oh no… that is a Shadow Gaogamon…” BlackAgumon answered, “RENAMON! WILL YOU HELP ME?!”
“Well duh, of course friend!” She nods back and charges it.
Then the Shadow Gaogamon dodges Renamon’s charge and does a counterattack. And it knocks her down.
“Agh it’s so fast, i could use a boost!” Renamon moaned.
“ON it.” Selve slashes a card through her digivice and Renamon speeds up.
Shadow Gaogamon charges head on and it jumps over Renamon and kicks her down.
“Lets try this card!” with a slash, Renamon’s left arm gets a cannon. “SUPREME CANNON!”
Shadow Gaogamon runs at a fast speed that not even Renamon can make a hit.
“Can’t get a lock, we need more power- OW!” she ends up on her butt after a powerful hit from the Shadow Gaogamon.
“Hey Gold Hoof!” He to his Tamer.
“I know what to do.” He takes out a Power Attack Modify Card and swipes it.
“GRAHHHHHHHHHHH!” He tries to grab the Shadow Gaogamon but he fails.
“Damn it!” Gold Hoof cursed.
“We need both speed and power.” Selve realized it.
“Yes! That’s it! Thanks Selve!” He thanks her.
“Rena?” He asks Renamon.
“Do you have a plan?” Renamon asked.
“They do and I heard using power and speed on that Shadow Gaogamon.” He answered.
“We tried a speed card, he is too fast for us.” She said back.
“As in using both power and speed together.” He replied.
“If we are to slow with a speed card alone, adding power to it won’t change that fact.” Rena reminded him.
“What if I throw you, I’m not using Power Defense, I’m using Power Attack.” He said to her.
“Thats worth a shot, but the odds we hit are low.” she replied.
“I know but we do have one shot.” He replied again.
“Well we have to try.” She moves to where he can grab her.
BlackAgumon grabs her by her feet and he throws her and she is able to get a critical hit on the Shadow Gaogamon. And it falls to the ground with its data dispersing.
“That… was hard…” BlackAgumon said to her.
“Yes very, he was almost an ultimate level in power. This is bad.” Renamon said.
“Yeah… but Piedmon… he’s far worse.” He replied grimly.
“Huf huf huf, we need to get stronger to stand a chance at keeping our Tamers safe.” Renamon gasped out, utterly spent.
“Yeah, I know.” He grabs her hand picking her up.
“Thank you Black. We must find a way to get stronger.” she said.
“Yes I know, they may not know this but… Piedmon is a mega level, they should not be letting their guard down, we both know that he is still here.” He says still keeping his guard up.
“Hey you two, good job!” He smiles.
“Now is not the time to let our guards down.” BlackAgumon said to his Tamer and Renamon’s Tamer.
“Why is that?” Selve asked puzzled.
“Indeed, why is that?” Piedmon said as he reappears smiling wickedly.
“YOU!” Selve could not stop shaking, her body screaming that this thing was stronger than them all like a alarm bell.
“If you want to know… that Shadow Gaogamon I sent was just a champion level… I on the other hand, I am a Mega level Digimon.” His smile grew more wickedly.
“So you plan to kill us?” Selve asked.
“No, just toy with you a bit. You’ll wish that you are dead once I get through with you.” He smiled evilly.
“Then if you will not kill us, leave!” Selve roared, getting a bit of her guts back.
“I’m sorry but… I can’t.” He coldly replied
“At the very least, let us take this somewhere else, you are only after us right?” Selve asked trying to get a feel for something.
“Like I said… I… CAN’T!” He quickly goes after Selve.
“SHIT!” she does her best to dodge.
Piedmon hits Selve extremely hard into a pillar.
“OW that smarts!” she tries to flee too scared to fight.
He still goes after Selve not letting up on her, “You think you can escape from me?”
“No matter who you are, or your power. You don’t have wings.” she said back.
“I don’t need wings. All I have to do is cut them off.” Piedmon replied
“How can you do that when im already in the air to far for you to jump?” She mocks him.
Piedmon jumps extremely high, “Does this answer your question?”
“Like I said… I’m going to toy with you.” He just simply smiled cruelly.
That simply breaks her will. “There is no point, nothing we can do to stop this, might as well just kill myself, not like anyone would care.”
BlackAgumon roars in fury, “PIEDMON! I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!”
“Wow… Renamon… do you feel Black’s power?!” He asked her.
“Somehow it has surpassed Piedmon’s?!” Renamon exclaimed in shock as Gold’s digivice starts to shine.
“What?! What’s happening with my… digivice?!” Gold Hoof said with amazement.
It simply reads “digivolution.” BlackAgumon’s body starts to shine.
“RAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLACKAGUMON DIGIVOLVE TO…” He Digivolves into the form he took 1000 years ago to battle Devimon, his helmet like head looks like a skull like helmet with grey coloring and his entire body looks slim, “BLACKGREYMON!”
“What?! What’s happening?!” Piedmon said as he felt a feeling he thought he would never feel again… fear.
Selve looks to her friend and gasps. “This is the warrior’s true form!”
“Piedmon I can never forgive you, you broke my friend’s spirit and I can NEVER FORGIVE YOU!” BlackGreymon said with a lot of rage and power.
“This energy, it’s so much!” Renamon finds it hard to breathe a little even.
Piedmon shudders at the power that BlackGreymon is exerting and BlackGreymon goes at an extremely fast pace that not even Piedmon could dodge it and gets hit into a pillar.
“Selve? Are you feeling Black’s power?” Gold Hoof says to her in awe.
“Yes it’s so much, its like its taking away all the air around him.” she replied.
Piedmon coughs up a lot of blood, “Gah! That actually hurts… oh no… this… actually… hurts… YOU WIN THIS TIME! BUT I’LL BE BACK THE NEXT TIME! I PROMISE YOU!” He said making his escape.
“That was AMAZING!” Selve smiled and flew back to Gold Hoof.
“Yeah I know Selve.” He said hugging her and smiling.
“Is Black Agumon ok?” She asked
BlackGreymon turns back to normal and reverts back into Black Agumon and breathes heavily.
“You might want to go to your partner Gold.” Renamon stated.
“Give me a minute to breathe, okay Rena?” He replied.
“You somehow where stronger than Piedmon, but how!?” She was in shock.
“I-I don’t know… but I felt power… like it was beyond mega level… how in the world did that happen?! I just felt… anger towards him, like it was… just pure raw rage... “ He replied in shock as well.
“It’s a sign, we need to train.” Renamon said.
“Yeah… we were extremely luck that I got that boost and that power… felt like it was the power of a… Super Ultimate…” He said in shock again.
“That just means great power sleeps in your data. The good news is your tamer now has a digivolve card. Let’s just pray to all legends, we are ready next time a mega shows its face.” She replies to him
“That’s good but that power, when will I use it again? When will it happen again? As far as I know that power will not come back until I and my Tamer has mastered it.” He replies to her.
“That is why we must train, and hard. It could mean the difference between life and death.” she said.
“I agree and I am thankful that I was able to protect your Tamer.” He smiled a bit that he did that.
“While I am grateful, it makes me feel so weak! That I could not even protect my own tamer!” Renamon starts to cry a bit.
He goes over to help comfort her, “I know you wish you could but one day, you will be able to protect her. I know it.” He smiles at her holding her hand to comfort her.
“ONE DAY! If that day is not soon, all will be lost!” She cries even harder.
He simply hugs her and says, “Let it all out.”
“For so long, I have been training for this, yet when the time came, I CHOKED!” She cried even more.
“We were dealing with Piedmon of all Digimon, if I didn’t have that boost, we would have all been scrapped!” He said to her
“AT LEAST YOU FOUGHT! All I did was be scared!” She looks ashamed.
“You want to know what I was thinking of during that fight? I was thinking that, ‘What am I doing?! This is Piedmon! How in the world am I facing him with no trouble at all!’ that is how I felt, I felt terrified but I had to overcome to to protect us all!” He said telling the truth.
The look of shock on her face told everyone all they needed to know.
“RENA!” He yelled at her.
“It’s ok, I’m just shocked at your resolve.”
“Now you understand? I wanted to protect you all in that… fight and I hope I will be able to do that again.” He said as he looks into her eyes.
Out of nowhere, she feels a spark as if a fire has been lit into her heart. “Thank you. And you’re right, I shouldn’t be so down.”
“Good, now we better get some rest… we need it…” He said to her.
“Ya.” is all Renamon can say as if in a sort of half trance.
“Um… Selve?” Gold Hoof asked Selve.
“Ya? Whats up?” Selve asked.
“Look at your Digimon.” Gold Hoof answers.
She takes a look and giggles.
“Looks like Renamon has a crush on my Digimon.” He said to Selve.
“From the looks of it ya.” Renamon was in the trance enough she didn’t catch that, so she shook her head. “What are you talking about?”
“Nothing Renamon.” Gold Hoof said to Renamon.
“Well for now, we need to rest up.” Renamon said.
“Yes, we need to.” BlackAgumon said to them.
“Celestia, luna, can we rest here for now?” Selve asked.
“Yes you can rest in the guest palace.” She said to them trying to remain calm, “But let me warn you, there is only 2 beds. One for Digimon and One for the many diverse species in and beyond Equestria, okay?”
“That’s good, it’s been a long time since I slept in a good bed.” He said before Celestia said something.
“I can share a bed with black.” Renamon said.
“That’s good Rena. This is the first time I’ve ever slept on a bed.” He replied.
“I can sleep on the floor, im used to it.” Selve said.
“Nonsense! Selve! You’ll get to have a bed to sleep in tonight and for you Mr Hoof, you will be sleeping in our bed tonight.” Luna replied to both Selve and Gold Hoof.
Selve eyes went wide.
“WHAT?!” Gold Hoof said not expecting that.
“Kid, good luck, you’re going to need it.” Black said to his Tamer, “Do you agree Rena?”
“Yes, isn’t it heat week for alicorns?” Renamon snickered.
Both Luna and Celestia blushed red.
“I… am… going… to… die…” Gold Hoof accepts his fate.
“I hate to say it but… you are going to die.” Black said while he snickered a bit.
“Thanks for the vote of confidence…” Gold Hoof deadpanned.
“So Rena, we’ll be sleeping together.” Black said to Rena.
“Ya, is that a problem Black?” she replied.
“No, I have no problem with that.” He replied.
“Good, as it would have been bad otherwise.” Renamon said.
“Yeah and I’m glad I’m sleeping with you.” Black said smiling.
“Really?” She starts to blush.
“Yeah, after all you’re my friend.” He smiles brighter.
“Oh ok. Ya it’s nice.” She smiles.
“Princess Celestia, do you have anything to eat around here? I’m starving for some digifood…” He said as his stomach is growling.
“I have no idea what digifood is, but I can have the royal chef whip something up.” Celestia sent for him.
“Thank you Princess.” Black bows in respect.
“There is no need for you to bow.” She replied.
“You are a princess, deserving of respect and I done so out of respect.” He replied.
“Well thank you, but rise now.” Celestia said.
“Very well.” Black said as he rose up.
“There you are, we have guests in need of your talent.” The royal chef went off to cook a massive feast.
“Thank Yggdrasil…” He said.
“Well you need your energy after all.” she said with a giggle.
“Yeah… I feel like I could eat several Mammothmons in ONE feast.” He replied, “And if you want to know… Yggdrasil is the equivalent of you two princesses.”
“Whoa, what do you make of this sister?” Luna asks Celestia.
“Well it makes sense, that they would have someone or something like us.” Celestia replied.
“Yggdrasil has the power to create and destroy the Digital World. It is not a king but a god.” He replied as well.
“Ok then. Thanks for the lesson. But now I think its food time!” Selve said seeing the chef return.
“YES! I am going to CHOW THIS DOWN!” He says as he starts to gorge himself.
Selve also digs in, looking starving.
“Wow, they are hungry…” Gold Hoof stated, “Don’t you agree Renamon?”
“For Black he used a huge amount of energy, as for my tamer, I fear she needs to eat that much.” Renamon stated.
“I agree and I seen the way you looked at Black.” Gold Hoof states with a smirk.
“What!? We are just friends nothing more!” she blushed.
“Be quiet Renamon, do you want him to hear us?” He states quietly.
“Then why bring it up!” He can tell Renamon is getting angry.
“I’m just saying don’t do it too soon. He may not feel the same way as you yet. I just want you to be careful.” He states with a concerned look while still being quiet.
“Alright I will.” she said back.
“And plus… I don’t want your heart broken, okay?” He said with a solemn look.
“Thank you.” She smiles.
“You’re welcome and… wait, where’s Spike and Guilmon?” He asked looking around.
“They said they went ahead to a Doughnut Joes? I think Spike said.” Selve answered.
“The hell is a doughnut? Who the hell is Doughnut Joe?” Gold Hoof said.
“Friend we will have a lot to teach you about what has changed in the last 1000 years.” Selve giggled.
“Okay?” Gold Hoof said confused.
Meanwhile with Spike and Guilmon…
A cloaked figure walks near where Spike and Guilmon is and say, “Hey, what brings you two here in Canterlot?”
“Well we came to Canterlot with two others, to warn the princesses of a terrible danger, or that is what our friends came to do, we just came to keep my family and friends safe.” Spike said.
“That’s a coincidence, there are others that are doing the same thing.” The shadowy figure said to Spike.
“How can there be others doing the same thing, if only me and my two new friends even know what the threat is in the first place?!” Spike said.
“Kid, let me tell you something I know, things are going to get dangerous in the next few days, so be prepared for what is coming.” The Shadowy Figure said to Spike.
“How do you know of this!? Who the heck are you?!” Spike answered back.
“Doesn’t matter who I am, all you need to know is that you need to be prepared for the following days.” The Cloaked Figure says as he goes past Spike.
“That was some strange words.” Guilmon said.
“I… agree… that was strange…” Pony Joe added.

Digimon Tamers Despairing Hope
Knowledge is power! Kyubimon appears in battle!
On the next day after the battle between Piedmon and BlackGreymon, BlackAgumon and Renamon were sound asleep but one of them was cuddling with the other. And the one who was cuddling was Renamon. And she starts to wake up slowly and she blushes up a storm.
*Did I just cuddle him!?* Renamon thought in slight fear.
“Hey Renamon… time for you to wake up.” Gold Hoof said quietly.
“Uh I’m already up.” she quietly gets up and sneaks over to Gold Hoof.
“Good, it’s time for your morning training” Gold Hoof replied.
“Before even breakfast?” Renamon asked.
“Breakfast was made over an hour ago!” Gold Hoof answered.
She heads to the dining hall. And Gold Hoof follows her as well.
“So, how was your rest Renamon?” Gold Hoof asked.
“Really good, haven’t such good sleep in a long time.” Renamon replied.
“That’s good, we all needed to rest and should we get Spike and Guilmon up? And please don’t ask how my rest was...” He asks with shudder.
“Yes let’s find them.” she smiled.
He and Renamon goes to where Spike and Guilmon is sleeping and Gold Hoof says, “HEY YOU TWO, WAKE UP!”
“What? What time is it?” Spike mutters.
“Why are we getting up so early?” Guilmon said.
“It is past breakfast and it is training time…” Gold Hoof deadpans.
“Training? For what?” Spike seems to not be fully there from the look on his face.
“To be prepared for any digital threat that comes to Equestria.” Gold Hoof glares a bit.
“Sorry sorry, just a bit groggy is all.” Spike replied.
“I know, it’s okay. We were all a bit tired from yesterday…” Gold Hoof replied as well feeling a bit tired.
“What happened? Me and Guilmon went to Pony Joe’s, so why does it look like you are shaken to the core?” Spike asked.
“Well, let me give you the short version, there was a battle yesterday and… BlackAgumon digivolved…” He said to Spike.
“Really!? Must have been one big battle.” Spike said.
“You had to be there to see it.” Gold Hoof replied.
“Ya, I’m sorry I wasn’t there to help.” Spike frowned.
“Spike, let me tell you something… you and Guilmon would have been too terrified to do anything and it is coming from me and the Digimon we faced was... POWERFUL. And not only that, he was smart and would have eliminated you. But… we got lucky that… Black hurt him very bad and he retreated.” He replied.
“That tough? Well then, we need to get stronger!” Spike exclaimed.
“Exactly! We need to get stronger and train.” Gold Hoof replied.
“For now though, time to eat!” Spike heads to the dining hall.
“Indeed and for Black, he can rest, he needs it.” He replied.
Both Selve and Renamon where already eating. “So good!” Renamon smiled.
BlackAgumon yawns, “Morning… ugh… I feel groggy. And hi everyone…”
“You should rest, you almost egged yourself Black.” Renamon said.
“Just because I fought doesn’t mean I should slack.” He replied, “And hi Guilmon.”
“Hello BlackAgumon, and perhaps you should listen, it’s not slacking if you need to take it easy.” Guilmon said with a surprising amount of wisdom.
“Look, I know when to rest and now is not the time. We have to be prepared to face not only Devimon but also the Demon Lords.” He responds to Guilmon with a little more wisdom.
“Fine, but at least build up to the hard stuff, no one wants you to push yourself to egg.” Renamon said in worry.
“I done that before, remember?” He replied to Renamon, “And I don’t want to push myself too hard nor do I want to lay back too easily.”
“Alright, just again, pace yourself.” she replied, worried badly about Blackagumon.
“I will, don’t worry.” He said truthfully.
“Good, and you better eat up. You will need your energy.” Said Selve.
“That’s what I need right now.” He said as he eats.
“Excuse me, but I have something to say. I have managed to get word, you should head to the Dragonlands, as Shining Armor has agreed to help you train.” Celestia said.
“That’s good, I’d like to see my successor.” Gold Hoof stated.
“You may go whenever you are ready.” Celestia said.
“Okay and… I’m actually going to miss you and Luna.” He said.
“Well you will be missed dearly, it’s for the best.” Celestia said.
“I know and… here is for last night.” He said as he kisses both Celestia and Luna on the cheek.
Celestia gives a rare blush. Luna does as well.
“I know you two missed me and I did the same.” He said as he blushes a bit.
“Say hi to Candace for us.” Celestia said.
“Is she your… niece?” He asked.
“Yes and the alicorn of love.” Celestia replied.
“Well looks like… Princess Amore was busy while I was gone.” He said.
“Amore is no longer with us sadly.” Celestia said.
“Sombra?” He asked sadly.
“Yes, Sombra lost control and is in the grip of darkness.” Celestia said with a tinge of sadness.
“I had a bad feeling… I wish I could have helped.” Gold Hoof said and started to cry.
“Someday you might be able to, for now head to the Dragonlands.” Celestia said.
“You’re right, I got to go to the Dragonlands. And at least, her legacy lives on through your niece.” Gold Hoof replied smiling a bit
“Celestia, I’d like to say something. And yes it deals with Sombra.” BlackAgumon said to her.
“What is that?” Celestia asked.
“I believe that Sombra was… infected with something that is known as a Dark Gear.” He answered.
“What is a… Dark Gear?” Luna asks.
“A Dark Gear is a viral control mechanism that controls Digimon. But I have reasons to believe that Devimon used the energy/magic of Equus to control Sombra to start his conquest of Equestria but I think it failed.” He answers Luna.
“So these… Dark Gears might be responsible for the Crystal Empire’s fall?” She asks again.
“Yes, I believe so.” He answers what Celestia and Luna has been fearing.
“So then, Sombra can likely be saved, that is good news, but for at least 3 more years, it’s out of reach. It’s better than nothing.” Celestia gave a weak smile.
“Indeed and do you want to know the reason why I came into this world?” He asks her.
“Yes please tell us.” Celestia said.
“I was sent by the Royal Knights of the Digital World.” He replied.
“The Royal… Knights of the World? Who are they?” Luna asked.
“It is better if Renamon explains.” He answers her.
“The Royal Knights are 13 Digimon that guard over the Digital World, and are some of the most powerful Digimon known. Noted members include Examon the king of all dragon digimon, Gallantmon, and Omnimon. If you are sent by them, it is normally a great deal of honour.” Renamon explained.
“You were sent by Gallantmon? If he is of such renown as you claim it’s a great honor to met you.” Celestia smiled.
*He was sent by dad?* thought Guilmon.
“Indeed and you seen what happened.” He replied
“Well for now, you must go. Your training starts as soon as you arrive.” Celestia said. “For the journey, you shall get some of the royal founds.”
“Indeed.” He replies
As everyone heads out Selve starts to get worried. “Something feels, off.”
“What is it Selve?” Gold Hoof asks.
“It feels like something is going to happen. Something bad.” She said.
“How bad are we talking?” Gold Hoof asked again.
“That’s the worrying part, I have no idea.” she replied.
“That’s… not good. We’ll need to be on guard along the way.” He replied.
“Indeed we all need to be careful. And Spike, Guilmon, you better come with us too, okay?” BlackAgumon said to Spike and Guilmon.
“Well of course, we won’t leave your side this time.” Spike said, Guilmon nodding.
“Good and I have a bad feeling that… we are about to meet an old foe from the past…” He said with worry.
“Oh no, well, we will be ready!” Renamon said with confidence as they board the train.
“Yes this time, I think we will be ready.” He replied
“Indeed, Renamon.” Gold Hoof agreed.
“Good luck friends, may my moon keep you safe” Luna replied
“My sun as well, keep you safe.” Celestia added.
“Y-you’re welcome.” Luna blushed.
“Well I and the others got to go. Bye.” Gold Hoof said as he and the others boarded on the train.
“Celly?” Luna asks.
“What is it Lulu?” Celestia asked.
“We sure missed Goldy, didn’t we?” She smiles a bit.
“Yes we did sister.” Celestia replied.
“It was good seeing him, wasn’t it?” She asks.
“Yes very.” Celestia said.
Luna simply just smiles as they waved goodbye to the group that was heading to the Dragonlands. And on said train, the group talks about how to take on Devimon.
“So… how do we face Devimon?” Gold Hoof asks.
“Well first we need to get stronger, Devimon is champion level right BlackAgumon?” Selve asked.
“He seems that way… but I feel his power all the way from the moon, can a champion level Digimon be that strong?” BlackAgumon asks being confused, What do you think Rena?”
“Well for now, to try and hit champion level is a good goal, but we will likely have to get past that by the end of this.” Rena stated.
“Indeed if we want to even stand a chance to beat Devimon but what about the Demon Lords? What them? Devimon is not the only threat, yes he is the main one but, they are big threats as well.” He asks them.
“Then we rise to met them!” Spike exclaims.
“I agree with Spike, he’s right, we need to rise to face them head on.” Gold Hoof replies.
“You’re right and Renamon?” Black asks Rena.
“What is it BlackAgumon?” She asks.
“Everything has a weakness, we just have to find it.” She said with a smirk.
“I agree and don’t get cocky, we still need to get stronger.” He stated.
“I know that Black, but it is a valid point. Not all battles can be fought with just brawn.” She reminded him.
“Yes I know, it is a valid point Rena, I thank you for it.” He smiles a bit.
“You’re welcome.” she smiles back, and blushes a bit as well.
“But still, does a Mega have a weakness as well?” He asks her again, “You know like… Piedmon.”
“Everything means EVERYTHING, even mega levels have some kind of weakness.” She replied.
“You’re absolutely right, all we need is to find weaknesses in their evolutions.” He replies to her, “I thank you again.”
“Of course, anything for you.” She smiles.
“So we all need to learn from Rena’s approach on this, all evolutions including megas have weaknesses.” He said to the rest.
“Right.” Selve said, the others agreeing.
“Indeed, all evolutions even the elusive Super Ultimate has a weakness.” He added.
“I agree with him and Renamon.” Gold Hoof said.
“So do I.” Said Spike.
“Yeah.” BlackAgumon said and felt unsure.
“Don’t worry BlackAgumon, we’ll be ready.” Gold Hoof tries to reassure his Digimon.
“Okay.” He says feeling more sure.
“So everyone, when we arrive at the Dragonlands, we will be trained by my successor.” Gold Hoof stated.
“You mean the Captain of the Royal Guard?” Selve asked.
“Indeed, I was once Captain of the Royal Guard.” He answered truthfully to her, “Or should I say… the Elite Guard?”
“Wait there was guard HIGHER than the royal guard!?” Selve exclaimed in shock.
“Indeed, the Elite Guard had one duty, protect all of Equestria from threats that could spell its end, but the difference between the Elite Guard and the Royal Guard is that it consisted of all the species of Equus, including dragons.” He stated to her.
“WHAT!? Why is such a thing not still around!” Selve asked.
“It still is.” He answered truthfully again.
“Why have I never heard of this?” Selve wondered out loud.
“It is a secret organization dedicated to protecting all of not just Equestria but also all of Equus.” He answered her question.
“Alright then, kind wish to join to be honest.” She says.
“Well… have you heard of a… dragon by the name of… Dragonius?” He asks Selve.
“Only in myth, never seen him with my own eyes.” she answered back.
“Well… he was a good friend of mine and he was a part of the Elite Guard.” He added.
“Wow, that is cool. I wonder if I will ever see him.” Selve muttered.
“Well I have a picture of him.” He stated.
“Oh really?” Selve asked.
“Here is a picture of him.” He said as he gave her the picture of Dragonius. The picture showed that Dragonius has a gold coloration with a red armored underbelly with three red horns and red toenails and red armored scales on his feet.
“What a nice looking dragon.” Selve smiled.
“Yes I agree but now… I don’t know where he is… or where he has gone.” He was uncertain about where Dragonius is.
“I’m positive you will meet him again.” She replied.
“You’re right, one of these days I’ll be able to meet him again.” He replies back.
“Now we are getting closer.” Selve said.
“Good and I hope that Shining Armor will not take it easy on me.” Gold Hoof said as well.
“I’m just afraid what the dragons will do to me. They might even finally get the guts to kill me.” She feels a bit scared.
“We’ll see to it that it won’t happen, right Rena?” BlackAgumon said to Renamon.
“We will try.” Renamon said. “But even we have limits.”
“Yes, at least we will try and Rena, we’ll need to keep an eye out, just in case that the Demon Lords or worse… Devimon comes after us.” He replied.
“Yes we do, but for now, we make our way to where Shining Armor is.” Renamon said.
“Indeed but we do need to keep an eye out.” He insists.
“Did I ever say not to? I’m going to keep an eye out.”She fires back.
“I don’t just mean you and I, I mean all of us… THAT INCLUDES YOU TWO!” Black refers to Spike and Guilmon.
“Of course!” Spike says.
“Good, now all we need to do is wait and go to Shining Armor.” He says.
“You all agree?” Gold Hoof says.
“Yes we do.” Everyone else replies.
After everyone spoke, they arrive at the Dragonlands and see Shining Armor and the rest of the Royal Guard including a familiar unicorn mare.
“Hey… is that… FLEUR?!” Gold Hoof exclaims being extremely surprised.
“Is… Fleur a part of the Royal Guard?!” BlackAgumon just as surprised.
“That’s news to me even!” Selve exclaimed.
Fleur is a white unicorn mare with a pinkish mane and at the current moment she is wearing guard armor.
“Glad to be here.” Selve smiled.
“I wish I could say the same.” Gold Hoof says feeling unsure.
“Why? What’s wrong Gold?” Renamon asked.
“Dragons, excluding Selve, wants to kill me.” Gold Hoof answered
“Oh, that is something to be worried about.” Renamon said.
“Yeah… so we don’t just got to watch out for enemy Digimon but we also got to watch out for dragons that might want to kill us.” Gold Hoof stated.
“Alright. We will keep an eye out.” Selve said as Shining walks up to the group.
Shining Armor is a unicorn stallion that has a white coat of fur with two shades of blue, one being regular blue and the other being aqua blue with a Guard Captain outfit.
“Good.” Gold Hoof replies.
“So, you’re the Tamers that I’ve been hearing so much about, right?” Shining Armor said to them.
“Yes we are.” Selve replied.
“Good, you remember what we are supposed to do once you all get here?” Shining asked.
They all simply nodded knowing what they need to do.
“Good, starting in 1 hour, we are going to train and I mean all of us. That includes me.” He said to all of them.
“Even you? Alright then, care to show us what you got first?” Renamon asked.
“First we need to warm our limbs up to be prepared for the training ahead.” Shining Armor said.
“Yep.” Gold Hoof said doing advanced stretching.
“Oh, you don’t need to do that, do you?” Shining asked.
“I’m a veteran, I know what I’m doing.” Gold Hoof answered.
“Um… who are you?” Shining Armor asked, “I feel like I’ve seen you before.”
“To be frank, I’m Gold Hoof, if you want to know.” Gold Hoof answered again to a now surprised Shining Armor.
“W-wait… YOU’RE THE GOLD HOOF?! OF THE ELITE GUARD?! Celestia… you’re my idol! Can I ask you for your autograph?” He asked excitedly.
“Maybe, once AFTER the training, got it?” Gold Hoof answered.
“Oh, oh okay, sorry.” He replied smiling sheepishly.
“Don’t worry, I had a very similar reaction to him as well.” Selve mentions.
“I’m used to it.” Gold Hoof stated.
“Now then, let’s get started.” Renamon said quite eagerly.
“Yes indeed.” Black added.
Then out of nowhere a strange little devilish creature comes near the group, “Well… this is a pleasant surprise.”
“A enemy!? Here?!” Selve exclaimed in shock.
“Oh you all must be the new chosen, huh?” Said the small devilish creature.
“Who are you and what are you here for?” Gold Hoof asked the small creature.
“Allow me to introduce myself, I… am the Devil of the Moon as your legend states.” He answered.
“What… Devimon! What are you doing here?!” BlackAgumon exclaimed in anger
“It is DemiDevimon to you all now.” DemiDevimon said to them calmly.
“The time on the moon must have forced him to de digivolve. We can do this!” Renamon said with fire in her eyes.
“Do you not feel my power right now?” He said as he released a little of his power.
“Do you not feel his powers right now… he’s more powerful than he was before!” Black said to Rena.
“We still have to try, remember what I said, every form has a weakness!” Renamon remind him as she charged, trying to get him to attack.
DemiDevimon simply dodges her attack, “And do not forget either… an enemy might always have a strategy to cover for their weakness.”
*He is right, but I need to get him to show his hand* Renamon thought as she kept attacking.
*She thinks I’m just a simple opponent, I’m not just some… simple opponent so I will leave them a gift.* He said as he thought, “Well then… I’m going to leave you all a gift… I will see you all… soon.” He said as he disappeared.
After he said that he sent a SkullGreymon after all the Tamers and the Digimon.
“Wow… it’s a… SkullGreymon… he sent a SkullGreymon! To battle in his place! Gold Hoof! Digivolve me!” He said to Gold Hoof.
“Got it!” He said, “Digimodify! Digivolution activate!”
“BlackAgumon digivolve to…” He digivolves into BlackGreymon, “BlackGreymon!”
SkullGreymon roared frighteningly at the group.
“W-what is that?!” Gold Hoof asks Renamon.
“What is what Gold?” she asked.
“What is that terrifying Digimon?!” He asked Renamon again.
“Skullgreymon, the dark ultimate level of a normal Agumon. To think this thing is so strong, we need a plan, for now, you and black need to fight it, so I get a read on its power and weaknesses.” Renamon said.
“I got it!” BlackGreymon said as he starts to battle with SkullGreymon.
As they did battle renamon was looking all over the skullgreymon trying to find a weakness. That’s when she saw it. A crack in one of it ribs. “I need the best attack card we got Selve! On my mark!”
Selve pull out a card and as soon as Renamon gives the word, she swipes it. “Omnimon’s supreme cannon” her digivice said as it fired, missing the shot sadly. “Crap, not fast enough!”
The SkullGreymon notices Selve and goes after her.
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!” BlackGreymon could do nothing to deter it to go after Selve.
*Is it to late?* Selve thought as renamon and her Digivice started to glow.
“RENAMON DIGIVOLVE TO!” as the light faded a quadrupedal fox, sporting nine tails, a rope around its neck, and look to be one fire, showed on her place. “KYUBIMON!”
BlackGreymon looks at the now Digivolved Renamon and feels a spark for her determination, “Good job Rena. And Rena! Look for a weak spot!”
“Already found one! Around his middle rib! There is a crack!” Kyubimon was quick to fire a new attack. “FOX TAIL INFERNO!” at the spot, and this time, got a hit.
SkullGreymon roars in pain as it turns into data and is absorbed by Kyubimon.
“Good job… uh… Kyubi?” He stated confusedly.
“That shall work, as for now why have I not reverted yet?” she said confused.
“Is this the first time you have digivolved?” BlackGreymon asked.
“Yes why does that matter?” She asked still confused.
“Well for Digimon digivolving for the first time, it might take you a pretty long time, don’t know how long but there it is.” He answered, “And since you can’t de-digivolve for now so, I’ll stay like this until you do.”
“Oh that does make some sense, likely the rush of energy need to wear down.” She replied.
“Good and like I said, I’ll stay like this until you revert.” He replied back.
“I wholeheartedly agree.” BlackGreymon agreeing with her.
“So, you all c-can go back to training.” Shining Armor trying contain his excitement.
“Yes we will, right Kyubi?” He asks Kyubimon.
“Of course Black!” Kyubimon was practically jumping for joy.
*She is happy that she got her digivolution, that makes me happy.* He happily thought.
“This form, feel so good, like a warm fire in my heart.” She mutters.
“That’s good. You need to feel the power of your new form.” He replies.
“Then what though?” She asked.
“Once you get the hang of your new form, you’ll be able to go back to your previous form.” He answered her question.
“Alright makes sense.” Kyubimon starts to test her limits.
“And maybe we’ll spar.” He said to her, “And don’t worry, I won’t go easy on you.”
“Sure that is such a good idea? I have the speed advantage and you know I can take a hit.” She said.
“Only when you’ve mastered it, okay?” He stated
“How will I know when I have?” She asked.
“When you feel sure about yourself.” He answered.
“Ok that doesn’t help in the slightest.” She started to get angry.
“Look, I can’t give you all the answers but all you can do is train to master your new form, that is all I can tell you.” He replied.
“Ok fair enough.” she relaxes and starts training.
He does the same.
With some time, Kyubimons movements become very fluid, and graceful. “I feel, at ease with this form like it’s the one I was born in.” She stated.
“Good job Kyubi. And be one with your form. To feel the energy within.” He stated like he was in meditation.
She nods and tries to feel her energy out.
“That’s good Kyubi get a feel of your energy.” He stated.
“Is it this huge flame?” She asked.
“Looks like it.” He answered.
“Now what?” She looked confused.
“Use it on that boulder.” He said as he pointed to a boulder.
“What do you mean use it? Like draw it out?” She asked.
“Draw out your power and use it to destroy that boulder.” He answers again.
She forces, and a massive flame starts to build in her mouth. “INFERNO BREATHE!” she lets it out and destroys the boulder
“Good job Kyubi. And that attack felt… familiar…” He stated with him sensing a deep power within Kyubimon.
“How so Black?” She asked.
“It… felt like the power of… Examon.” He said.
“Wait you mean the royal knight, THAT EXAMON!?” She exclaimed in shock.
“Yes, the same one.” He stated.
“How can that be? We are not even related!” She exclaimed again
“Yes I know but I think you might have… the royal dragon digimon blood inside of you.” He states again
“What do you mean?” She asked.
“I think that you might be the descendant of Examon.” He answered her
“Wait what!? ME a descendant of the king of all dragon digimon!?” She said.
“Yes, you might be the descendant of the King of all Dragon Digimon.” He stated to her.
She started to go pale. “That is not possible. Both my parents were not even dragon digimon!” She said in denial.
“I think one of them… might have had… an affair, I’m sorry.” He answers sadly.
She starts to cry loudly. “WHAT THAT CAN’T BE TRUE!”
“I’m sorry Kyubi.” He said hugging her and trying to comfort her.
“Kyubimon. Please come here.” Selve asked.
She does so and gets a big hug. “It’s ok, let it all out.”
“And Kyubimon, let me offer you some comfort, I think your mother before she met your father, I think you might have been the result of a one night stand.” He said to try to comfort her.
“Well that is a small amount of relief. At least my mom was faithful.” She was still crying a lot and even reverted while still crying.
BlackGreymon reverted back into his BlackAgumon form, “Welcome back Rena.”
“That burst of emotion must have drained the last of the energy. Huf huf huf. I feel very tired. Is that normal?” Renamon asked.
“Yes it is normal to feel tired after what happened and if you want me to stay by your side, I will.” He said promising her to stay by her side.
“Please, my body feels so weak, like it wants to revert even lower.” She said scared.
He picks her up gently, “Shining, I’m going to take Rena to a tent to rest, I’m going to stay by her side, okay?”
“Take all the time you need, the rest of you, that includes you Spike and… who are you again?” He asked for Guilmon’s name.
“It’s Guilmon. Nice to meet you!” He smiled.
“It’s nice to meet you too.” He smiles back.
Black takes Renamon to a tent and lays her down, “I’m going to stay with you, okay?”
“Alright.” She blushes a bit. “I feel so weak right now. Need to rest.”
“Okay, I’ll lay next to you.” He said.
As he does so, she starts to blush even more. “Why are you laying next to me?”
“I don’t know but I know for one thing, you need someone beside you.” He answered the best he could.
“Why do you think that?” She asked.
“N-no reason.” He said fighting the urge to blush.
She smiles and falls asleep for a bit.
He sleeps next to her.
Then a cloaked figure shows near the camp saying to the group who is training, “Hello there.”
“Who the heck are you!?” Selve exclaimed.
“Just a friend who is traveling by, so, what are you all doing here?” The cloaked figure asks.
“We are in the middle of training, why?” Shining Armor asks the cloaked figure.
“Just asking and hello you two, it’s been a while since I saw you at that donut shop.” The cloaked figure said to Spike and Guilmon.
“YOU! Why did you stop to see us out of everypony in Equestria?” Spike asked.
“Just happened to be on the way to the Dragonlands right now.” The cloaked figure answered Spike.
“You seem off, why should we believe that?” Spike asked.
“Something special is going to be there, don’t know what it is but I have the strangest feeling.” The cloaked figure answered Spike.
“Fine, just don’t try to fight us.” Guilmon said.
“Don’t worry, I won’t.” The cloaked figure said as they gone towards the Dragonlands.
“Who was that?” Shining asked.
“We have no idea.” Spike and Guilmon say at the same time.
“Whoever it was… I think we can trust them.” Gold Hoof said to them.
Digimon Tamers Despairing Hope
Courage Ignites! The roar of Growlmon!
After the fight of SkullGreymon, the group rested on some rocks while BlackAgumon and Renamon sleeps soundly and cuddles with each other as well. Both of them start to wake up and and Renamon says blushing heavily, “Th-that was nice.”
“Y-yeah.” He said doing the same, “Um… should we… um... t-t-train?”
“Yes we should.” Renamon smiled.
“Yeah, we should.” BlackAgumon smiled back.
The both of them gets out of the tent smiling and they go to training.
“Hey Selve? Look at BlackAgumon and Renamon, do you think they seem different now?” Gold Hoof asks Selve.
“Ya, both Black and Rena seem at peace.” Selve replied.
“And look closely on how they smile.” He replied.
“Ya, it’s like they are starting to look like a couple.” She replied
“I’m beginning to think that… they might become more than just friends.” He smiles at the thought of his partner and her partner being a couple.
Selve smiles as well, as she watches all the digimon train.
*Wow, I never thought that Rena would look this beautiful while training…* Black thought.
*I never thought Black could move like that* Rena thought.
BlackAgumon starts to move more gracefully like a Chineighese Dragon.
While Renamon starts to get even more fluid in her motions as if in a trance.
*Am I this lucky to see a Digimon like her?* He thought with a small blush.
*Is he the one? The one to be mine?* She thought as she trained.
*Is she the one I’ve been looking for all of my digital life?* He thought as he trained more fluidly.
“Wow… Selve?” Gold Hoof asks Selve.
“It is as if they are in a dance.” Selve noted.
“I agree, I think… they are falling in love with each other.” He smiles warmly.
“That they likely are.” She said back.
“I wish you luck in finding the love of your life.” He wishes Selve luck.
“You too Gold.” She says back.
“I already have.” He said, “And no, it is not you.”
“Well I could guess that, after the princesses looked so well before we left.” She winked at him.
“Yep, that’s right, I love them.” He smiled happily.
“If only I could find a mate.” She sighed.
“One day, you will.” He said hugging her in comfort.
“Only if the dragons change, tell then I will only be the outcast!” She cries into his shoulder.
“Let it all out.” He lets her cry on his shoulder.
“There is no hope, of me ever finding love!” She wails.
“There is Spike.” He replied to her.
“Maybe someday but right now, he is way to young.” Selve said.
“I asked how old Spike is and… I was… surprised to know that he’s… 17!” He replied.
“Sadly to a dragon that is still a child, I am 45 yet still only a teenager.” Selve replied.
“In pony culture, that’s different.” Gold Hoof replied, “He is considered a teen.”
“Fair enough, but while he might be in pony culture, I am not.” Selve replied.
“Who cares what your culture thinks?” He replied again.
“If I choose to court him, I lose any chance of dragons ever believing in my message.” Selve replied.
“I’m not saying to court him now, I’m saying to think about it.” He replied.
“But anyways, I think our partners will find out soon that their crushes is not one sided. Am I right?” He asks her.
“Maybe not soon, but before this is all said and done, likely.” Selve replied.
“I agree.” He replied. *I wonder what Spike and Guilmon are doing?* Gold Hoof thought.
Meanwhile with Spike and Guilmon...
“Hey Spike, got a sec?” Shining Armor asks.
“Sure what is it?” Spike replied.
“Well, what do you think of the Digimon?” Shining asks again.
“Well the ones with us, are pretty friendly. Why?” Spike replied.
“I just have the feeling that… one of these days that one of them might go berserk.” He said worriedly.
“So far only time that has happened, had been due to one of us in serious danger, even then from what I heard, he focused on the enemy.” Spike repiled.
“What I mean is that, what if they focused on an innocent… pony?” He said more worriedly.
“They would never! They are not like that!” Spike exclaimed. “You need to have more faith in them Shining.”
“I know… I’m sorry. I just want to keep an eye out for you, okay?” He said.
“I know, but relax. All that stress is bad for you.” Spike replied.
“You have my word, I won’t attack an INNOCENT pony.” Guilmon added.
“Yeah, you’re right.” He agrees.
“So just trust the Digimon. It will be our only chance to survive against the foes we face.” Spike said.
“Yes… against the other Digimon that truly threatens Equestria.” He replied.
“Just like ponies, dragons, griffons, and others, they have both good guys and bad.” Spike said. “Don’t paint them all for the sins of a few.”
“Yes.” He agrees again, “I’m surprised of how mature you’ve been getting.”
“Well when you find out your life might be on the line, it tends to change you.” Spike replied.
“I absolutely agree.” He agreed again
“Doesn’t mean I won’t act like a kid at times, but that is for the best.” Spike said.
“Good, you’re still a kid to me Spike.” He said giving him a bit of a noogie.
“CUT IT OUT!” Spike said.
“Alright, alright.” He said chuckling a bit.
“This feel nice though.” Spike smiled.
“Yeah, it’s nice, just relaxing a bit, huh?” He said smiling a bit.
“It feels though, like the calm before the storm.” Spike says.
“So you feel it too, huh? Something big is coming.” He said sensing great danger.
“Ya, like danger is coming.” Spike said.
“I don’t what danger lurks… but I know for sure, it’s something bigger.” He stated.
“This is bad, even I can feel its waiting for the right moment.” Spike replied.
“And I have a bad feeling it is NOT these… Demon Lords nor Devimon.” He replied back.
A dark digimon comes out of nowhere and it is the digimon known Devidramon.
“Crap what is that!?” Spike exclaimed.
The scanner on the Digivice scans the dark dragon digimon and reveals the name of the creature.
“Devidramon? Champion level, special attacks are crimson claws,and demonic gale.” Spike reads off his digivice.
“Ah… Devidramon, thought that thing bit the dust…” BlackAgumon said tiredly.
“We have to try and huf, fight him.” Renamon said, getting ready to attack.
“Not right now Rena… we’re too tired to digivolve right now…” He said more tiredly.
“Black is right Rena, you two need to rest. Spike, Guilmon it’s up to you two.” Selve said, as Guilmon charges in. “PYROSPHERE!” He cries as he launches an attack at the devidramon.
Devidramon avoids the attack and does a counterattack on Guilmon.
“OW!” Guilmon gets thrown back. “Why can’t we go a day without a digimon trying to KILL US!” seeing his struggle Spike swipes a few cards at random. “Hyper wings, speed, stamina active.” his digivice said as Guilmon keeps firing off pyro spheres.
Devidramon smirked evilly as it uses Dark Gale on everyone and throws Spike into a rock.
“Spike! No!!!!!!” Guilmon roared as he tries to defeat the Devidramon. “You hurt my tamer! You will pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Spike’s digivice begins to glow and Guilmon begins to glow too.
“GUILMON DIGIVOLVE TO!!!!!” as the glow fades, he looks a lot taller and bulkier, with wing like blades on his arms. “GROWLMON!!”
“Look at… Guilmon!” Black said to everyone.
“He digivolved.” Renamon said.
“Go Growlmon!” Spike shouted.
“Go Growlmon fight for all of us.” Gold Hoof said.
Devidramon roars in fury as Growlmon stood his ground against him.“PYRO BLASTER!” Growlmon roars, as he attacks something strange starts going on, the arm blades retract, and he gets even more bulky yet seems to be incredibly fast as well. Two wing like appendages form on its head, and some of the markings on its body vanish.
“Guys, this might be jumping the gun, but he might be a Growlmon X.” Renamon stated.
“No, you’re not jumping the gun, that IS Growlmon X.” BlackAgumon added
“X? What does the X mean?” Spike asked.
“Rena, can you explain?” He asks.
“Spike your partner is one of the rare few with the powerful x antibody in their code. It is a very good thing as a digimon with it will be much more powerful than the normal digimon, and in a lot of cases, in more control of themself.” Renamon said as Growlmon x was not even breaking a sweat as the Devidramon didn’t see having to fight a holder of the x-antibody coming.
“Why is this one DIFFERENT?!” Devidramon said with great anger.
“Wh-what?! He can talk?!” BlackAgumon said with great surprise.
“Doesn’t matter, you have hurt my tamer, and tried to kill him, for that, face deletion!” with one cry of “DRAGON SLASH!” Growlmon X stabs devidramon with his claws.
Devidramon coughs up blood, “Looks like I’ll retreat for now… I’ll be back. I promise.” He said as he vanished
“We will be waiting, and ready.” Selve said.
“That… was too close…” Black replied.
“You said it.” Growlmon said before he starts to revert back to Guilmon. “Now I need some bread.”
Black starts to laugh hard, “Guilmon! You crack me up.”
“What’s so funny? I really like bread, especially cheese bread.” He said back to Black.
“You remind me of an old friend.” He replied.
“That’s good right?” Guilmon asked.
“Yes that is good.” He answered Guilmon.
“Yes, I am good!” Guilmon said.
“Yes you are and I wish you the best of luck mastering your new forms.” He said.
“Ya it feel so weird, it’s like my energy was once just a small flame, but now a huge inferno.” Guilmon said.
“The X forms are a bit more powerful and if you master the X antibodies, you can switch forms from your standard to your X forms.” BlackAgumon stated.
“Why would anyone switch out of such a form?” Guilmon is almost giddy with power.
“It drains your energy quicker for one” BlackAgumon states.
“Weird, It feels like I’m not using more energy.” Guilmon said.
“It may feel that way but take a look at your energy right now.” He replies back.
He take a close look at his energy.
“What do you see?” BlackAgumon asks.
“It’s not going down very fast, if anything, i’m using less energy than before.” Guilmon said.
“Hmm, that’s good. But you need to use it as a last resort, okay?” He states.
“Why? It feels normal, the form I was once in feels weird.” Guilmon said.
“You mean it feels natural?” BlackAgumon asks again.
“It almost feels like a part of my soul, is back.” Guilmon said. “So yes it feel natural.”
“Hmm, that’s interesting.” He said with curiosity.
“If anything there is no turning back, now that my power is awake.” Guilmon said. “I can never be normal.”
“That’s true and the power of the X antibody could have an opposite too, like maybe a Y antibody.” He states, “Who knows.”
“Perhaps Black, but for now I need rest.” Guilmon said.
“Go rest Guilmon, you need it.” He replied, “Rena?”
Guilmon heads to bed. “He has so much power, yet is still so carefree. How?” Renamon asked.
“The kid is still a kid and he needs to stay that way.” He smiles a bit, “He reminds me of an old friend.”
“Yes he needs to stay a kid as long as he can.” Renamon agreed.
“Yeah, I agree.” He said as he smiled at her.
“I have always wondered, can a digimon bare a child?” Renamon asked
“Why are you asking?” He asked back.
“Just curious is all. You have to wonder, why is the number of digimon increasing.” She replied.
“I agree with you, one day I’d like to have kids.” He smiles at the thought.
“Well I think we have gotten much stronger.” Selve said.
“Yeah.” Gold Hoof replies.
“Now what though?” She asked back.
“We train more to get much stronger than this.” He answers.
“If only it were that easy.” Sevle fired back.
“I’m not saying it’s going to be easy.” He adds.
“The Digimon can get stronger, but for me and Spike, dragons have built in maxes, it’s never been found to find a way while still so young, to break past them.” Selve said.
“You remember my friend Dragonius?” He asks.
“I remember about him why? Are you saying he might have found a way?” Selve asked.
“Yes he did at the age of 50.” He answered.
“WHAT!? You are telling me he did all he did in the legend, at that young a age!? He is just a teen!?” She exclaimed.
“Yes he did, if he could do it, then you could too.” He said.
“But with no clues, what are the odds I will just stumble upon it?” Sevle said.
“Like I said before, train and you might get it early.” He said trying to cheer her up.
She simply nods and goes back to training by herself a good ways away from the others .
Then the Cloaked Figure approaches Selve while she is training by herself and says, “Hello there.”
“Stand back! Don’t hurt me!” Selve exclaims.
“Calm down, I’m not here to hurt you, okay?” The Cloaked Figure said to her.
“Why should I trust you? You smell of dragon, and dragons hate me!” She fired back.
“I don’t hate you, okay? I’m here to talk to you, okay?” The Cloaked Figure said to her.
“Then prove it, take off the cloak.” She replied, not yet convinced.
“Okay then, I’ll show you who I am and promise me you won’t tell a soul of what I’m going to show you, promise me.” The Cloaked Figure said to her.
“So long as you tell me why, deal.” Selve said, a lot more relaxed.
Then the Cloaked Figure took his cloak off and he revealing himself to be Dragonius, the dragon of legend, “Now do you believe me?”
“NO WAY! First i met Gold hoof, then the dragon I grew up hearing stories of! Pinch me I must be dreaming!” She says loudly somehow the others don’t hear it.
“You’re not dreaming but keep it down!” He exclaimed quietly.
“Sorry sorry, I grew up on stories of your legend. Now why have you come to me?” She asks regaining composure.
“I’m here to warn you of the threat that is coming to threaten all of Equus.” He said.
“We know of Devimon and Piedmon.” Selve said.
“I know of those two Digimon, they are big threats in of themselves, there is another coming to threatening all of Equus.” He tries to warn her.
“Really? Then if their such a threat, we will have to rise to met them. If only I could figure out how to break my limits.” She said.
“Like my friend Gold Hoof said, it takes training to get stronger and break past your limits.” He states truthfully.
“That can’t be all there is, many dragons our age have tried that, and have always hit a wall, a limit that can’t be broken no matter how hard they train.” She fires back.
“That is all there is, all I’ve done was training and when I hit 50, I broke through the limit. You could be able to breakthrough your limits earlier than me.” He replies back.
“I feel stuck, I have trained since I was old enough to hold a weapon, yet since 25 i have hit the wall.” Selve said.
“It takes time and training, do you know why dragons seem to hit this wall? It’s because they don’t believe in themselves, they believe they can’t break through the limits.” He replied.
“So belief, that’s what we have missed?” She asked. “How could so many miss something so easy!?”
“It’s hard for them to believe that they can, it also takes perseverance and patience as well, not many have that.” He added.
“Well unlike most, I have people to fight for.” Selve smiled. “For my new friends, I will break past the wall.”
“Good and I’d better go right now, I need to get to the Dragon Lands.” He said to her.
“Good luck.” She smiled at him.
He puts his cloak around him to conceal his identity, “Thank you and good luck with your training.” He said as he went on his way to the Dragon Lands.
She smiles and goes to train with the group.

Digimon Tamers Despairing Hope
It was a bright night, as Luna’s moon shone down. If anypony looked very closely they could see two ponies longing to reunite together. One of which, whose heart burns like the brightest sun, the other, cool as the moon itself. And the pony that is cool as the moon itself grows bitter and jealous of the pony whose heart burns like the brightest sun. And they grew more distant as the years go by. And one day, the younger pony whose heart that is cool as moon got so bitter and jealous, she turned on her sister in blind jealousy and rage. But two creatures of unknown origin appeared in front of them.
“Devimon! Please stop this! You are disrupting the balance of this world and our world!” Said the dragon like creature.
“Ha! This is just another world to conquer! To do with as I please!” Devimon said as he smiled wickedly.
“Sister?! What is happening?!” Said the blue colored pony.
“I… don’t know Luna… I.. don’t know…” She said to Luna with great fear and amazement.
“Can we do anything to stop them?! The creature that looks like a dragon is trying to stop the one that looks… like a demon…” Luna said to her brightly colored sister.
“I don’t… know…” She said again
“You two there! I need you to help me fight Devimon!” He said to Luna and the brightly colored pony.
“What? Why should we? We don’t know who or what are!” Said the brightly colored pony
“I’ll tell after you help me. I need you to use those power stones in combination with my powers!” He said to the two frightened ponies.
“Are you sure you can be trusted?” Luna said to the strange dragon like creature.
“Do you have any choice?” He stated to the two of them.
“He is right sister, this other one, is so dark, and evil.” the brighter one said.
“Now use those power stones and I will combine my powers with the stone’s powers.” He said to them
“Alright together sister!” She starts to let the Elements float around them.
“Let’s do this!” He said as he prepared his Blackfire Nova Blast.
“BLACKFIRE NOVA BLAST!” He used his attack to combine with the Elements of Harmony’s attack.
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Devimon said as he is sent to the moon by the dragon like creature and he said, “CURSE YOU BLACKGREYMON! I WILL RETURN ONE DAY AND I WILL MAKE YOU PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He said before being sent to the moon.
“That… was a close one…” He said out-loud.
“Yes it was. So now, who are you?” Said Luna and the brightly colored pony.
“My name is… BlackGreymon, I come from a place known as the Digital World. And to answer your other question, I am a Digimon, which is short for Digital Monster.” He said to them, “What’s your names?” He asked them.
“My name is Princess Luna.” Luna said to BlackGreymon.
“And my name is princess Celestia.”Celestia said.
“Pleased to meet you… too… I got to rest for quite a while now to recharge my energy…” He said to them
“W-why?” Luna said to BlackGreymon.
“I used too much power to defeat Devimon… and so I will have to go back as an egg… I’m sorry…” He said to both of them.
“As a egg? What do you even mean?” Celestia asked him.
“You see whenever a Digimon uses too much energy, we return as an egg to conserve our energy.” He said to them.
“So in other words… you all never really die.” Luna said to him.
“Exactly.” He said to her.
“Well then, we shall meet again.” Celestia smiled at the thought.
“Yes we shall…” He said as his digital energy transforms him into an egg.
“There he goes… sister? Why did he help us?” Luna asked Celestia.
“I doubt they have this kind of tech… he was way too intelligent…” She stated to Celestia.
“You are most likely right. Sister, I’m sorry I have been such to put it bluntly, a jerk to you. Can we try to work this out?” She asked starting to tear up to Luna’s shock.
“Yes we can try to work this out sister.” She said as she smiled.
“I’m so happy, I have some ideas to get someponies to like the night as much as the day.” She hugs Luna.
“Thank you so much Celestia.” She hugs Celestia.
“Of course sister, we have a lot of things we need to plan.” Celestia heads to the castle to start her plans.
“What can we do to celebrate my night?” She asked her older sister.
“Well for starters, we can have a night, for you, where people come to get scared for candy. How does that sound?” Celestia asked her
“That sounds really good!” Luna said as she smiled brightly.
“Plus why not a lunar rising celebration? How does that sound?” Celestia asked Luna again.
“Hmm? That sounds lovely.” She smiled even brighter.
“Glad you like the idea.” Celestia said.
“But what about… BlackGreymon? What about him? He saved our lives… and quite possibly Equestria, shouldn’t there be a celebration for him?” She asked Celestia.
“Who would believe us, about such a thing. We can have a day for heroes, but we can’t name him, as those greedy nobles would use any chance to get us off our throne.” Celestia said to her sister.
“We could tell Princess Platinum, she can be trusted, right?” She asked her sister.
“Well yes, we can tell the trusted of the nobles, but as a whole, they must not catch wind of it.” Celestia mentioned. “So yes we can tell Princess Platinum.”
“Indeed, not all of the nobles can be trusted like… Sombra from the Crystal Empire, we both know he still does have connections here…” She said to Celestia.
“Well Sombra has not been as bad as you thought he was going to be, so we should give him a chance.” Celestia replied.
“But still, there is something or someone that is trying to get hold of him. And I don’t know what or who…” She said to her older sister.
“It’s likely dark magic, sister. If anything we need him close to keep him from getting corrupted.” She said to Luna.
“We will see.” She said worriedly.
“Trust me sister, its for the best.” Celestia smiled.
“Okay but that… Devimon, what can we tell about him? What should we call him to warn about generations of ponies from now?” She said to her older sister.
“Unfortunately, I have no ideas. I hope you do, or we will have to leave him out.” She said to her younger sister.
“How about calling him the Demon of the Moon?” She asked Celestia.
“Wow, thats a good idea sister. I will leave you in charge of that.” Celestia repiled.
“That way, we can warn a generation of ponies… he’s a big threat, that Devimon might pose the greatest threat to Equestria…” She said to Celestia.
“Yes very, I could feel his power, it was huge!” She said to Luna.
“Meaning… he was holding back a lot of power, if he wished to destroy it, he would have not hesitate to destroy our… world.” She said in a terrified manner.
“More like we were lucky, as it seemed about 50% of that power, he could not touch, but still he is very strong.” Celestia replied.
“I agree… whomever he is he’s gone for now…” Luna stated, “How long until he… returns?”
“No idea sister, but we must be ready.” Celestia said.
“Yes we must be ready for him and whoever is his allies are.” Luna said.
“If only we can get to this “Digital World” BlackGreymon spoke of, we could get help.” Celestia stated.
“Indeed, wherever it is, it is safe from… Devimon.” She said.
“For now let’s see what the griffons have been up to, call it a gut feeling, but I feel we should.” Celestia said being concerned.
