What's up, Diary?
Oh, wait. I'm the one who's meant to be telling you what's up. Anyway, I told Ditzy what "responsible" means, and she's trying to be more responsible, and at first she was quite good at it, but then she dropped again and started failing miserably. I didn't think it was possible, but she's even more annoying now. Constantly asking if what she's doing is responsible or not. Does she really want me to answer? Anyway, I'm about to go to Sweet Apple Acres with her. Wish me luck and I just might not die.
"What're you drawing in that book?" Ditzy asked
"I'm not drawing. This is my diary." I said
"Cool! What're you writing in your diary?"
"You think I'd tell you?"
"Yes..."
I let out a huge sigh. "Let's just go to Sweet Apple Acres."
At Sweet Apple Acres, Ditzy Doo got a huge crate of apple pies that she was meant to be shipping to Whinnyapolis, and I got to spend some time with Apple Bloom.
"So, why can't your brother just bring the pies to Whinnyapolis?" I asked her
"Well, Whinnyapolis is a long way to walk from Ponyville with a huge crate of pies" Apple Bloom told me
"Oh. Y'know, Ditzy's trying to be more responsible."
"And, how's that working out?"
"It started OK, but then she got terrible at it again."
"Don't you think you should stop being so mean to her? She just wants to give you a fun time!"
"I... I guess so... I have been writing some pretty mean stuff about her in my diary, lately."
"Like what?"
"You think I'd tell you?"
"Yes..."
Suddenly, Ditzy burst out of the barn with her huge crate of pies, and it looked as though she was sobbing deeply.
"Think she read my diary?" I asked Apple Bloom
"Oh, she must'a just read the news about the earthquake in Griffonstone or somethin'. No big deal." she said
"Your sarcasm isn't gonna help me resolve my problem with Ditzy."
"I wasn't being sarcastic" she called after me as I left "I'm really worried about Gabby!"

Just to move is difficult
Hey, Diary!
If you think I like being with Ditzy Doo for a four-day weekend, you're wrong. Sure, Ditzy's fun, and I love her, but I'd prefer being with her for four minutes than four days (I was gonna say hours, but four hours with Ditzy would still be a nightmare). You always think some time with Ditzy Doo will be fun at first, but when you get seen in the street with her, you'll have second thoughts. I'm just arriving at her house. Wish me luck! ~Dinky Doo
While I struggled to just get out of the car, I expected everything. At any moment, Ditzy could break a door or chase a muffin or even-
"HIIII!" shouted Ditzy, interrupting my thoughts.
"Oh, please, dear Celestia, save me!" I prayed, silently. I got out of the car, and my parents ran off. Obviously they wanted to be with Ditzy as much as I did.
"How's my favourite cousin?" asked Ditzy
"Oh, you couldn't mean me, could you?"
"Yes, actually. How did you guess?" Ditzy clearly missed all the sarcasm in my voice.
"I was being sarcastic."
"What are sarc-a-sticks?"
"Let's just go make some muffins" I sighed. Ditzy seemed excited to make muffins. This was gonna be a long day. I didn't like that one bit.

Diary, please help!
You know a couple of entries ago, when I told you that Ditzy tried to swallow her dishwasher and almost succeeded? Literally anything could happen in her household! In case you don't remember, I had to get the surgeon to operate at her house! Anyway, enough old news. Today, we were making muffins, and we had to transplant the kitchen. I don't even know what happened! One second, we were pouring the batter into the cups, the next second, no kitchen! Just a bombing site with a clumsy muffin lover and her responsible cousin. I hate this! ~Dinky Doo
My parents were pretty stupid to leave me at Ditzy's house. I would have loved to go to the crystal empire! Anyway, They could have left me in Maud Pie's cavern and I'd still have a more fun time than this. And, as everypony knows, Maud Pie is... Dull.
Asleep in Ditzy's house is no better than awake. Luckily, Ditzy agreed to give me her bed. She slept on the floor. I still wasn't too proud about that.
The next day was Friday, so at least I didn't have to spend all day with Ditzy.
"It's time to go to school, Dinky." she said.
"You're not taking me!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, I am."
"I can go by myself! You live literally thirty seconds away from the school."
"You could walk for thirty seconds, but anything could happen to you during that time!"
"What?" I chuckled "You think I'll get chased by a guitar when I pass the music shop?"
"That's exactly what I envisioned!"
"Listen, Ditzy, I can take care of myself! I don't need you to bring me to school, it's just across the street!"
Of course, Ditzy refused. I had to bring a really big hat to hide my face in the street and avoid the embarrassment.
"Uhh... Dinky Doo?" said Miss Cheerilee.
"What do you want?" I asked, annoyedly.
"What's with that rash on your face?"
"Ditzy Doo brought me to school."
The reaction of the class was not fun. It was like they went to a beach and saw a shark attack in action. It was like they were watching an operation at the operating theatre. It was like... Like... Like they found out that Ditzy took me to school.
Tomorrow's another day! I thought Another day that might be worse...

The way to and back from school was a disaster yesterday, Diary!
Ditzy treats me like I'm four! She wouldn't let me go to school alone because "anything could happen in those thirty seconds to school." Today's a Saturday, so imagine what could happen! Spending the whole day with Ditzy Doo? Kill me! Enough from the "Dinky Doo's School News" column, let me tell you about my sleep last night. Ditzy's snoring is almost as bad as her embarrassing-ness. It kept me awake for half the night! I'm not happy about being left with Ditzy. Not happy at all. ~Dinky Doo
"Dinky! I lost my toothpaste!" said Ditzy
"Well, you've been losing a lot of things lately, haven't you?" I murmured
"Sorry, what did you say?"
"I said 'You've been losing a lot of things lately, haven't you?'" I said, louder
"I'm not sure what you mean..."
"It's like yesterday when you lost your pillow. Or Wednesday when you lost your kitchen. Or last month when you lost your pet goldfish!"
"I really miss him..."
"I promised to help you find him and I'm gonna keep my word, but the point is that you have to be more responsible."
"What does that mean?"
"It means you have to be careful not to lose things, break things, or blow things up. You have to be able to clean a mess when you make one, or when someone else does. Look at me, for example: I was the one who called for and payed for the new kitchen. I was the one who woke you up in time for work yesterday. I was the one who got the surgeon when you tried to eat your dishwasher. All those things I did was being responsible. And you are responsible for me being responsible. You blew up the kitchen. You overslept. You tried to eat your dishwasher! None of that is responsible!"
"But if that isn't responsible, how come I'm responsible for you being responsible?"
"Being responsible also means that something is your fault."
"Oh "
"You owe me four hundred and thirty bits for the kitchen"
"I'll take a nightshift"
"Now that is a responsible thing to do."

I fudged up, Diary!
You probably already know that Ditzy read what I wrote in you. Prepare to feel more pain than you do when I scratch my pencil in you, Diary! I'm about to rip out every page that there was something mean about Ditzy written on. ~Dinky Doo
I finished writing in my diary and ripped out some of the pages by the time Ditzy Doo got out to the street while pushing her huge crate of apple pies.
I walked up to her and started helping her push.
"Why are you here?" Ditzy said "I thought you didn't want to be with me."
"I'm here to apologize." I said "I wrote in my diary about you as what I saw of you."
"Woah, thanks."
I sighed. "I'm sorry. I should have appreciated you for what you are"
"An embarrassment?"
"The best embarrassment I could ever ask for"
Ditzy smiled "I guess we both did something wrong back there."
"Like what?"
"Well, you shouldn't have written those mean things about me, and I shouldn't have read your diary."
"I guess so. I'm surprised"
"About what?"
"I never thought I'd be able to have a civilized conversation with you."
"Me neither."
We finally got to the post office and Ditzy labelled the crate to go to a pie shop in Whinnyapolis.
"Hey, Ditzy." I said
"Yeah?" she said
"We didn't really get to spend a lot of fun time together over this four-day weekend. I was thinking that tomorrow we make the most of our time, since I'm leaving tomorrow"
"Alright."
Ditzy got her mail at the post office. Part of the mail was a letter from my mother. Ditzy read it, and then she rushed to the bathroom. I saw the letter that she left on the floor. It read:
Dear, Ditzy Doo.
It turns out we're going to have to stay in the Crystal Empire for as long as Amethyst Star stays in the hospital. You see, she fell off of the hotel room's balcony. Luckily it isn't too high up, but she fell into a coma. Please don't worry too much about her. I'm sorry if Dinky is any trouble while we're staying in the Crystal Empire. The doctors say she'll wake up in one to four months. Feel free to come visit any time you like. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Ditzy came out of the bathroom.
"Uhh... Dinky-" she began
"I know." I cut her off.
"It's no big deal. It's a minor coma. Usually they last a year or so."
"I'm really worried about my sister!" I sobbed.
