Regular Car Reviews goes to review Twilight's Saab 900 turbo
This was supposed to be a saab review
"when's this guy coming Twilight?" Rainbow dash huffed impatiently, They had been waiting for an hour outside the Canterlot high parking lot, waiting in an empty parking lot on a chilly Saturday morning was not her strong suit.
"Rainbow Dash, calm down will you please?" Fluttershy said to her with a small note of frustration in her voice,
"I'm sure Twilight knows what's going to happen and has planned for this" she said less than assuredly. She wanted to give this "car reviewer" the benefit of the doubt. He came from quite a long distance a ways, granted he had come to review several cars in the area, but he had still to be all the way here from Pennsylvania to review facility's Saab 900 "Sabby" Twilight called it or well, her as that was what Twilight called her.
"What the hell Pinkie Pie!" Twilight almost yelled after she dared to sit on the hood of the car, which then led to her promptly pushing her off which led to her landing quite painfully on her butt. If you so much as scratched the paint on her "Sabby" Twilight would practically turn into midnight sparkle; No one touched her black Saab without repercussions. Thankfully because it was Pinkie Pie who did so, Twilight let her off this once.
They had then taken so long to get there that they even sent Sunset Shimmer to escort them to the parking lot they were waiting in; after texting them about their location it had turned out that they had gone to twilight's old school instead.
“Okay, fine Twilight I’m very sorry for sitting on your Saaby but the guy is taking a really long time to get here; the sooner this is done with the earlier we can go to the party I planned for us to celebrate having your Saab for a 2 and a half years, since we forgot to celebrate it at 2 years” said pinkie apologetically, she may have been slightly upset at twilight pushing her away; but then again, what are friends for.
“Twilight hon, I think Pinkie sitting on the car shouldn’t mean you pushing Pinkie off the cars hood” Applejack huffed with a noticeable tinge of annoyance as she had just sat on the hood of her 1998 Isuzu Amigo which she had inherited from her father, she and her family hated American trucks because they thought that they were huge, gas guzzling, unreliable pieces of garbage, so beside a very old seventies Ford F-100: they all owned either a Toyota pickup truck (Hilux), original Toyota 4runner or some kind of Isuzu or Suzuki. The apple family had already taught Apple Bloom not just how to drive, but also how to go offroad and she’d even gone mudding in the Isuzu with Applejack. Her hatred of non-4wheel drive SUV's was such that as she waited, every time she saw a crossover SUV or even a modern Ford, GMC or Ram truck, she would give a look of contempt that was borderline hatred.
“Twilight darling, I think he’s coming now.” Rarity called to twiligh, they the saw a white Toyota Tercel in front of a gold Subaru Forester heading towards them; the Toyota Tercel was Sunset’s car, she’d gotten it right after she learned to drive after the Friendship games. She actually learned to drive stick (manual transmission) with twilight on her Saaby which Twilight was in fact very reluctant to do, but Sunset had reassured on her life to not do anything stupid to it since it was the only car she knew that had a Stick, she’d almost broken the car with a shift from 5th to 2nd which probably would have led to Midnight Sparkle being released and killing them all.
The Tercel and Forester rolled up to the parking lot and out came Sunset and two men. The humane 6 went down to the Forester and saw the two men get out, one was wearing glasses and a beige hat; his hat was like the kind of hat you’d wear if you went to the swamp or a bog. The second man also wore glasses; they both had A red and blue logo saying in large white lettering “Regular Car Reviews” and the man with the hat then asked to the group, “which one of you is Twilight Sparkle? ”.
“I am!” Twilight said giddily, she had held herself back from completely fangirling out but not by very much, she’d watched his videos for a long time since before even the friendship games, they were one of the only things that made her laugh at her old school. When Twi had first transferred to Canterlot high the mane 6 were slightly disgusted at first when Twilight was watching his video at a sleep over and overheard his dirty humour, except for Applejack who was casually into cars and Sunset who after learning to drive stick had also became somewhat interested in cars.
“Well then, nice to meet you,” said the man with the hat who was actually Mr. Regular the narrator and co-writer of the webseries. “and these are your friends I presume? We already met your friend Sunset Shimmer,” he said and then thought to himself “what's up with this town and weird names?”
Twilight replied “Yes, they are my friends, this is Applejack”.
“Howdy” she greeted.
“Fluttershy.”
“Hello there.”
“Rarity.”
“nice to meet you.”
“Pinkie Pie.”
“It’s great to meet you.”
“and finally Rainbow Dash.”
“It’s great that you finally got here.”
“It’s nice to meet you all and you must be one of the very few girls into cars we have worked with before.” said the other man who's name was Roman, he co-wrote the web series.
“So, it's a Saab 900 turbo 16 am I correct?” asked Mr. regular.
“You sure are!” Twilight answered back.
“and is that an old Isuzu Amigo? It’s been a while since I’ve seen one on the road.”
“It is, it’s a very reliable pile of Japanese metal” Applejack replied to him. “All of my family owns some kind of Japanese truck, my grandmother owns a first generation 4Runner.”
“oh really? We once reviewed one, it was heavily modified. But it was pretty good car still. Oh, anyway let’s get on to filming.”
“By the way, be careful with Twi’s Saab, she really loves it” said Rainbow dash.
“Don’t worry about it, I’ve driven one before, also your hair reminds me of something, oddly enough it’s a toy horse that was hanging from the mirror of a Dodge neon srt-4 that we reviewed. it was some kind of kids toy. Odd, right?”
“I guess it is” Rainbow dash said with a look of confusion.
Eventually Mr. Regular got into the car with Twilight and Sunset Shimmer. They drove the car around the lot and then drove next to the entrance, they had wanted to get a feel for the automobile before moving on to filming. Then Mr. regular noticed something strange “hey Twilight and Sunset is it me or is that mirror changing colour?” they then turned there heads and notice that the was turning into a rainbow of colours, it was rapidly switching between colours with a chaotic energy. All of a sudden then the car was then attracted to the mirror like a magnet they tried driving away from it but the car was already committed. They then all screamed “aaahhh!” as the car went through the portal.
