They were enjoying one of their weekly tea parties, which they always have on Tuesdays. Ever since Discord insisted on having one at his place, they have been taking turns on hosting them. This week it was his turn and, as always, added his chaotic twist. The sandwiches were little birds that fly and chirped, the teapot behaved like a dog, and they enjoyed it all from the ceiling where they sat comfortably sipping tea. "Why, thank you Fluttershy."Discord answered gratefully before taking another sip of the green tea. His face scrunched up in disgust and he reached out for the sugar bowl, scooping several lumps. He put the lumps into his cup of tea and took another sip then sighed as it met his satisfaction. Fluttershy stared at him during this. It was the third time he put several lumps of sugar into the same cup of tea and it was not the only thing she noticed a bit strange. He was always full of energy that rivalled Pinkie's but now he seemed more tired. She also noticed that his lower abdomen was slightly bloated like he gained weight. He also had gone to the bathroom several times since they started. Fluttershy was a little worried because this has been happening for the past few weeks and the last time he acted strange he almost faded away from existence. "Um...Discord?"started Fluttershy nervously. "Yes Fluttershy?" "Are you feeling well?" Discord almost dropped his cup. "Wh...why do you say that?"he stumbled. He looked like he was caught with his claw in the cookie jar. "Well you have been acting at bit....strange lately." "I'm always strange, I'm the Spirit of Chaos itself!"He was trying to look casual during this but the nervous twitch in his eye showed he was hiding something. "I know that but you have been acting stranger than usual lately." "I d...don't know what you talking about."He gulped then smiled nervously. She looked at him sternly, clearly seeing through his attempts to act casual. "Discord,"she said more sternly that made him cringe, "You have been more tired than usual, going to the bathroom alot, eating weird combinations, and I also noticed your lower abdomen is bloated." Discord stood quite while avoiding eye contact. "Last time you acted this strange you almost faded away. If there something going on you need to tell me."She was worried for him. "I...I can't tell you."His voice strained as he gripped his tail tightly. "What do mean you can't tell me?" "I JUST CAN'T!!!!"He bursted out eruptly, causing Fluttershy to shrink back. He breathed heavily while trying to fight back tears that were already forming around his eyelids. "I think that's it for today."He said after a few minutes. Before Fluttershy could say anything, Discord snapped his fingers and sent her back to her cottage. He sat there quietly without moving an inch. His magic double appeared next to him, his faced plastered with worry. "You shouldn't have shutted her out like that, she is your best friend."Said his double a bit sternly. Discord just stood quiet, looking at the ground/ceiling. "You need to tell her already. How long do you really think you can hide this from her?" "I do want to tell her,"Discord's eyes started to water up,"b..but I don't know how."He struggled with his words as tears rolled down his cheeks. "It's simple, just tell the truth. Plus your not going to be alone during this." "But it's my responsibility,"Discord near tears right now, "I'm going have to do this by myself and I'm afraid I won't be able to handle it!"Tears came flowing out as he cover his face. His double just stared at him for a while then, without anything else to say, disappeared with a flash. Discord sat there alone, sobbing. "What am I going to do?"He whispered between sobbs. Fluttershy waited anxiously for her friends to arrive at her cottage. Discord was acting strange yesterday and she wanted her friends to help her find out why. She paced back and forth across her living room floor until she heard a knock at her door. She opened the door and found the six ponies and dragon she was waiting for. "Fluttershy, is everything alright? We got your message that Angle sent and came here as fast as we can."said Twilight Sparkle worriedly. "Yeah! It said something about Discord being himself."said Spike. "And after what you had told us what happened last time this happened we just had to come, darling."said Rarity. "Thank you for coming everypony, please come in."said Fluttershy. They all went in and sat on the seats she had prepared for them. "Discord has been acting a bit different lately and yesterday I asked if there is something wrong, but he blocked me out." "How actually is he behaving lately?"asked Starlight. "Yeah! Maybe we figure out why he shutted you out like!"shouted Pinkie. "Well, he's been very tired, eating weird combinations, going to the bathroom a lot, looking sad sometimes, and his lower abdomen is kind of bloated." "Ok, that does seem like somethn' to worry about."said Applejack. "You think he might be sick or something?"asked Rainbow Dash. Twilight pondered it for a few moments, "It could be but we can't know for sure unless he tells us what is going on." "But, how are we going to get Discord to tell us when he won't even tell Fluttershy?"asked Starlight. "Then we just need to make him talk....Fluttershy, it's your turn for the tea party next week right?" "Yes Twilight."answered Fluttershy. "Good here is what we're going to do." Next week on Tuesday.... Discord appeared several feet from Fluttershy's cottage. He sighed before knocking on the door and waited for his pegasus friend. The door opened, showing the pony he shouted at last week. "Hey Discord....why don't you come in."greeted Fluttershy. He nodded and came in but was surprised to see Twilight, Starlight, Spike, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbowdash, and Applejack. They were sitting on chairs with worried looks on their faces. "What are you all doing here?"asked Discord. "Fluttershy told us what happened last week and we want to what's going on."said Twilight, "I have put a spell around the cottage so you can't teleport or run away." Discord just stood there blankly. "I'm sorry Discord but this was the only way to find out what's wrong with you."said Fluttershy. He turned his head away while holding himself. "Please tell us what's wrong Discord."She near tears now. "I...I..."he stumbled, not able to get the words out through the lump forming in his throat. "Just tell me already! Are you sick? Are you...." "No!" "Then what is it!" He hung his head low, unable to stand lying to her anymore. "I'm...I'm pregnant." "What?" "I SAID I'M PREGNANT!!!" Chapter 3Three months later.... Fluttershy paced her cottage anxiously. It is her Tuesday Tea with Discord but he is an hour late and this made her worried. His pregnancy has been a little unpredictable for him lately ever since he started showing systems. There was a flash and Discord appeared looking exhausted. There were dark circles under his eyes and he seemed a bit shakey. "Discord!!" She flew to him before he collapsed. She helped him to the couch where he gingerly layed himself on the side allowing his belly to be exposed, which was about the size of a pony or two. "I-I'm ok, I just need to rest that's all."He lays his head down on a pillow she gave him. "What happened?" "I spent most of the night going to the bathroom and about two hours this morning puking my guts up. I'm sorry I'm late." "It's ok but you have been getting worse lately and using magic is probably going hurt you and the baby." "But it is the only way I can get here from my place." Fluttershy thought about it for a moment until her faced brightened up at an idea. "What about you move to Ponyville!?" "Move to Ponyville?" "Yeah! You will be much closer to me and the girls and your child will be able to interact with ponies their age." Discord pondered it for a minute then smiled. "That sounds like a good idea." "Are you sure about this?" Discord was with Twilight in her castle. He had some luggage with him and Starlight and Spike were carrying them for him as they were going to his room. "I have a lot of extra bedrooms that I hardly use." Twilight. "But are you sure your OK with me and my child living here?" "Of course I'm sure! You will be more comfortable here and if your child has any....magical bursts, it will be contained to here." "And you can study draconequus growth." mumbled Spike. They stopped at one of the doors and Twilight opened it to reveal a big bedroom that was perfect for Discord's size. "I took the liberty of resizing it for you." Twilight said while Starlight and Spike set his bags down by the bed. "It looks very nice, thank you Twilight." "There is something else I need to show you." She then led him to the door of the room next to his room. "Close your eyes." He was confused but obeyed. He heard the door open and was led inside. "Ok, open them." Twilight. He opened his eyes and found he was in a nursery. In the corner there was a crib made from apple wood with a lavender blanket inside and a cloudsdale mobile above it. Next to it was a dresser with a changing table and baby clothes on top. In the opposite corner there was a rocking chair big enough for Discord to sit in and next to it was a book shelf filled with books. On the floor there was a soft-thick rug with a variety of baby toys on it. And in the the middle of the room were Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity. "SURPRISE!!!!" They all yelled in unison. "We just couldn't wait to make this for you!" Fluttershy. "I made the crib, dresser, and the rocking chair!" Applejack. "I made the blanket, rug, and baby clothes!" said Rarity as she held the baby clothes with her magic. "I got the mobile and changing table!" Rainbow. "I got the toys for you're cutesy-woosy baby to play with!" Pinkie. "I got the baby books and book shelf!" Twilight. "Fluttershy planned the whole thing." Starlight. Discord was speechless and he stood still for several minutes before moving to the the crib. He stroked the bedding as he gazed at it. "Do you like like it?" Fluttershy. "It's....it's...", his eyes watered up as he struggled with his words, "It's.... perfect." He smiled warmly as he embraced them in a hug. "Thank you everypony. Your the best friends I have ever had." They cuddled each other for a while until Discord's stomach growled. "Maybe we can celebrate with dinner?" said Discord sheepishly. Everyone erupted into laughter, including Discord. "It's going to be nice having you live here!" Twilight. The next few months were difficult for Discord. It turns out that the baby was growing right on top of his bladder, causing him to go to the bathroom constantly. This made it difficult for him to get some sleep during the night so he was always tired. He also suffered from extreme mood swings that happen out of no where, increased appetite that makes Twilight restock the kitchen almost everyday, and his feet are constantly sore. His friends try their best to make him feel comfortable but with him being so close to due date, are having a bit more difficult time doing so. By now his belly is a size of three ponies and you can see that the pregnancy has taken it's toll on him. He has dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep and his usually well-kept charcoal mane is a mess. When he walks he waddles a little due to his overgrown belly. By now he is emotionally spent and just wants the baby to come out already. There was a knock at the castle door and Twilight rushed to it. She opened it and was relieved to find Princess Cadence, Shining Armor and her niece. "We came as soon as we could." Cadence. "Thank you for coming." Twilight lets them inside and leads them as she talks. "I didn't know what else to do. Fluttershy couldn't help him and I'm hoping since you guys have delt with pregnancy before that you will have a better chance to help him." "Do you know what's wrong with him?" Shining Armor with Flurry Heart in on his back. "I'm not positively sure but I think it is partly due to his pregnancy symptoms." Twilight. "I still can't believe that he is pregnant." Shining Armor. They walked down the hall until they came in front of Discord's room. Behind the door they can hear sobbing coming from the draconequus. "How long has he been like this?" Shining Armor. "Three days." Twilight then turned to leave. "Good luck." Once she left, the trio opened the door and walked in. They found Discord in bed wearing a pink robe with crumbled tissues all around him and a tub of ice cream that he kept scooping into his mouth between sobs. "Discord..." Cadence. He was startled for he didn't hear them come in and didn't expect them to be there in the first place. "P-princess Cadence? Shining A-armor? What are y-you guys doing here?" His eyes were puffy and had tear stains around them as he stared at them. "Twilight asked us to come believing we could help you." Shining Armor. Discord stayed silent as he clutched his tub of ice cream. Cadence sat next to him and look down at his expanded belly. "I remember when I was pregnant it was hard for me as well and I understand that by now you are at your emotional breaking point." She puts a hoof on his shoulder. "From what I experienced, it helps to talk about what is bothering you." "I....I don't know if I can be a good p-parent." Discord teared up again. "I thought Twilight and the others already talked to you about this." Shining Armor. "I know but....", tears trickled down his cheeks, "I-I just don't feel confident of myself." "I understand. I felt exactly the same way during my pregnancy and I can't imagine how much so since you're a single parent." Cadence took Flurryheart from Shining Armor and cradled her in her arms while she giggled happily. "But what I do know is that you should just try your best to give them the life they deserve." She then placed a hoof on his paw. "I'm not saying that you will make all the right choices because we are not perfect but all you can do is love your child with all of your heart." "But I have no idea how to take care children and the parenting books that Twilight got me are so confusing." Discord layed his head down. "I don't even know how to change diapers! I feel so unprepared and I am unprepared. As it comes closer to due date, I get more and more scared of failing because I don't even know how to take care of my own child!" "So, if I'm hearing you correctly, you have been worried because you don't know how to take care of a baby?" Cadence. "Yes." Discord. Cadence and Shining Armor looked at each other then both smiled as they shared an idea. "Discord, I think we can help you." Cadence. "Really?" Discord with his ears perked. "If its alright with you, we can teach you how to take care of babies." Shining Armor. "You really do that for me?" Discord was shocked by what he was hearing. "Of course! Even though we can't stay long, we can still help you get started and afterwards we can give you more guidance." Shining Armor. Discord felt overwhelmed by joy as he reached out and grabbed them into a hug. Tears filled his eyes as he thanked them repeatedly. He eventually let them go and the next few days were of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor teaching him how to take care of babies. Chapter 4Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 2"Your what?!?"said all of them in unison. They were shocked at what they just heard and had a lot of questions. Since we are so rare, we have developed a way to have children by ourselves without a mate. We usually just willed it to happen but...", he pauses, "There have been times where some have become pregnant without willing it." "Is that what happened to you?"Fluttershy. "Y-yes."His eyes watered, "But I...I don't think I could be a good p-parent." "Why you say that?"Starlight. "Because I'm afraid I will mess it up like I do with everything else." "I took over Equestria, changed you into your opposites, betrayed you after you befriended me, ruined the grand galloping gala, almost ruined guy's night, I was the reason that the changelings knew we were in the hive, and I almost ruined our tea party by almost dying!"He didn't even bother holding back his tears anymore as he started to break down. "You didn't ruin the gala because you made it more fun and even Princess Celestia enjoyed it!"Twilight. "You also made guys night even better!"Spike. "You also helped us free our friends and the changelings from Queen Chrystilis!"Starlight. "And you didn't ruin our tea party. He has dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep and his usually well-kept charcoal mane is a mess. When he walks he waddles a little due to his overgrown belly. By now he is emotionally spent and just wants the baby to come out already. There was a knock at the castle door and Twilight rushed to it. She opened it and was relieved to find Princess Cadence, Shining Armor and her niece. "We came as soon as we could." Cadence. "Thank you for coming." Twilight lets them inside and leads them as she talks. "I didn't know what else to do. Fluttershy couldn't help him and I'm hoping since you guys have delt with pregnancy before that you will have a better chance to help him." "Do you know what's wrong with him?" Shining Armor with Flurry Heart in on his back. "I'm not positively sure but I think it is partly due to his pregnancy symptoms." Twilight. "I still can't believe that he is pregnant." Shining Armor. They walked down the hall until they came in front of Discord's room. Behind the door they can hear sobbing coming from the draconequus. "How long has he been like this?" Shining Armor. "Three days." Twilight then turned to leave. "Good luck." Once she left, the trio opened the door and walked in. They found Discord in bed wearing a pink robe with crumbled tissues all around him and a tub of ice cream that he kept scooping into his mouth between sobs. "Discord..." Cadence. He was startled for he didn't hear them come in and didn't expect them to be there in the first place. "P-princess Cadence? Shining A-armor? What are y-you guys doing here?" His eyes were puffy and had tear stains around them as he stared at them. "Twilight asked us to come believing we could help you." Shining Armor. Discord stayed silent as he clutched his tub of ice cream. Cadence sat next to him and look down at his expanded belly. "I remember when I was pregnant it was hard for me as well and I understand that by now you are at your emotional breaking point." She puts a hoof on his shoulder. "From what I experienced, it helps to talk about what is bothering you." "I....I don't know if I can be a good p-parent." Discord teared up again. "I thought Twilight and the others already talked to you about this." Shining Armor. "I know but....", tears trickled down his cheeks, "I-I just don't feel confident of myself." "I understand. I felt exactly the same way during my pregnancy and I can't imagine how much so since you're a single parent." Cadence took Flurryheart from Shining Armor and cradled her in her arms while she giggled happily. "But what I do know is that you should just try your best to give them the life they deserve." She then placed a hoof on his paw. "I'm not saying that you will make all the right choices because we are not perfect but all you can do is love your child with all of your heart." "But I have no idea how to take care children and the parenting books that Twilight got me are so confusing." Discord layed his head down. "I don't even know how to change diapers! I feel so unprepared and I am unprepared. As it comes closer to due date, I get more and more scared of failing because I don't even know how to take care of my own child!" "So, if I'm hearing you correctly, you have been worried because you don't know how to take care of a baby?" Cadence. "Yes." Discord. Cadence and Shining Armor looked at each other then both smiled as they shared an idea. "Discord, I think we can help you." Cadence. "Really?" Discord with his ears perked. "If its alright with you, we can teach you how to take care of babies." Shining Armor. "You really do that for me?" Discord was shocked by what he was hearing. "Of course! Even though we can't stay long, we can still help you get started and afterwards we can give you more guidance." Shining Armor. Discord felt overwhelmed by joy as he reached out and grabbed them into a hug. Tears filled his eyes as he thanked them repeatedly. He eventually let them go and the next few days were of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor teaching him how to take care of babies.
Chapter 2"Your what?!?"said all of them in unison. They were shocked at what they just heard and had a lot of questions. "This is a joke, right?!"exclaimed Fluttershy. The others were thinking the same thing. Discord lowered his head and answered, "I wish it was." "Then....how are you pregnant?"Fluttershy and the others were curious. He sighed and went over to the couch to sit. "Its kind of hard to explain but I will try my best.", he sighed again before continuing, "I know usually you need a mate to have a child but for draconequu that isn't the case. Since we are so rare, we have developed a way to have children by ourselves without a mate. We usually just willed it to happen but...", he pauses, "There have been times where some have become pregnant without willing it." "Is that what happened to you?"Fluttershy. "Y-yes."His eyes watered, "But I...I don't think I could be a good p-parent." "Why you say that?"Starlight. "Because I'm afraid I will mess it up like I do with everything else." "What are you talking about?"Rainbow. "I took over Equestria, changed you into your opposites, betrayed you after you befriended me, ruined the grand galloping gala, almost ruined guy's night, I was the reason that the changelings knew we were in the hive, and I almost ruined our tea party by almost dying!"He didn't even bother holding back his tears anymore as he started to break down. "H-how can I-I raise a-a child if I-I can't e-even trust m-myself!" "Discord..."Fluttershy flue to him and held him as he sobbed. The others followed her and surrounded him with comforting hugs. "I-I don't know i-if I can d-do this by m-myself."he stampered after a few minutes. "Discord listen to me,"Fluttershy lifted his head to face her, "I know you had made mistakes in the past but they do not define who you are today because you have changed for the better." "But what if I don't do it right like how I do with everything else?" "You don't mess everything up."Fluttershy. "Yeah! If it wasn't for you we wouldn't have found our rainbow power to defeat Tirek and Twilight would not have her castle!"Pinkie. "You didn't ruin the gala because you made it more fun and even Princess Celestia enjoyed it!"Twilight. "You also made guys night even better!"Spike. "You also helped us free our friends and the changelings from Queen Chrystilis!"Starlight. "And you didn't ruin our tea party. Instead we got an better understanding of each other and I wouldn't change that day for the world."Fluttershy. "Really?"asked Discord between sniffles. She smiled and hugged him tightly, "Really."
