You groaned and rubbed your head while you fluttered your eyes open, but squinted them because the sunlight blinded you. The sight of nature surrounded you. Slowly, you got enough strength to get up of the grassy floor and what you saw made your heart skip a bit. You didn’t know where you where. It wasn’t the same forest you used to be around. When you looked down, the cut in your leg was gone, but there is a cut in your pants, in the same place where the cut was. (If you don’t like pants then forget it). Even if you were completely confused, you should not be standing still, so you walked around with caution but walked straight ahead.

“Good morning, my dear…” You turned around and saw a anthro zebra with some animal fur clothes with a cap, yellow earrings, necklace and bracelets. She was carrying a bag with some type ofbottles, each had liquids of different colors. You almost thought she looked like a witch.

“Um, good morning to you too, miss. Can you please tell me where I am?”

She responded with a smile.

“Of course, you are in Everfree forest my dear, far from Ponyville in Equestria” Your eyes widened at what he said, how could you be in a place named ‘Equestria’ when you lived (City name) ?! The zebra saw your confused face “I see, my dear. I think you’re lost”. You nodded your head shyly and told her where you lived. "Well considering that i've never heard of your residence and how you dress yourself, I think you’re not from this world."

Your heart sunk at what she said, not from this world!?

"You got to be kidding me..." You mumbled to yourself, but you were pretty sure you weren't dreaming. "Do you know then when I can get back to my world?" You asked and hoped that she knew.

"I'm really sorry, but I promise you that I will find a way to get you back home."

You feel sad, because you just had a feeling that you will be here for a long time.

"Now, there's no need to be sad. You know I came here to find someone who can use an adventure and maybe you can find some answers to your questions." She smiled warmly at you and you happily nodded in response, because it was a quite long time ago that you actually had an adventure and you sure needed some answers for why you where transported into another realm.

"What is your name my dear?" She said with a sparkle of curiosity in her eyes.

"(Name) (Last name)." You said with a friendly smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Miss (Name), my name is Zecora and before we find some proper clothes for you, I will tell you why I came here." You listened sharply to every word she said.

She told you some many stories about Discord, Breezies, Bugbear, Cerberus, Chimera, Cockatrice, Dragons, Griffons, Hydra, Parasprite, Timberwolf, Ursa and much more. Zecora found some proper clothes for you, so people wouldn’t recognize you were from another world, but you preferred to wear a cape, just in case. The only thing that you could do now is hoping if you will ever come back home, but what you heard from Zecora, this world doesn’t seem too bad. You were actually a bit excited, because on your journey you’re going meet ponies and other creatures.

You and Zecora were just talking and trying to get to know each other better while you two were searching for the place that she mentioned were you two could rest for the night, before you reach the creatures from Everfree.

"It's pretty strange actually, there must be a really good reason why I got transported to this Middle‐Earth. Even though I'm nothing special." You said with a frown. Zecora looked down at you with a very serious expression.

"You know dear, you must never talk yourself down like that. Everyone is special in their own way and you, well, you my child must be one of a kind. It doesn't happen often that a human boy/girl suddenly got transported to our world, so don't think you are nothing but ordinary."

You smiled brightly as the zebra managed to lift up your spirits a bit.

"Thank you, Zecora. I shall try." You said.

"Good. Ah! There it is." She said as you two came by a large tree. It looked a bit small and at the point of collapsing, but you didn't have a choice since there is nowhere else to sleep and you were not really in the mood to sleep outside in the cold.

Meanwhile you found some edible food like raspberries, apples and blackberries and collected twigs for the fireplace. You helped Zecora to dust off the furniture and found some blankets to cover yourself from the cold breeze outside. Soon you find yourself on a carpet in front of the warm fireplace, Zecora was lying under her blanket in a bed when you heard her mumbling about being too cold. You giggled a bit at how childish the zebra can sound, since you only saw her serious from the first time you met her, she reminded you a bit of your grandmother.

"Goodnight Zecora.” You said with a yawn.

"Goodnight dear." She said. 'Goodnight mom, dad.' you thought to yourself with a sad smile as you looked through the window at the bright full moon.

You woke up by the chirping of birds and boiling water. You saw that the zebra was already up and was boiling some green liquid in a cauldron above the fireplace. You yawned some and sat up.

Zecora turned around.

"Good morning (Name)."

"Morning Zecora." You said still a bit sleepy.

"Come, drink some tea." She said while filling the cups with hot water and some spice that smelled like mint and honey.

You smiled and sat down with Zecora to enjoy the amazing tea. You picked a cup and smelled the incredible aroma before you took a sip. Your thoughts wandered off at home, 'I wonder how mom and dad are doing... Are they searching for me? Did they already call the police? Are they even worried about me? What about my friends? (Best friend name) must be worried sick.'

Zecora looked at you and saw that you were deep in thought forgetting about the lukewarm becoming tea. "You seem to be deep in thought." You snapped out of your daze and looked at him.

"S‐Sorry?" You said a bit startled.

"You should really drink your tea dear, it will become cold." She explained with a small smile.

"Oh, right." You said while drinking the last bit of tea out of the porcelain cup. "When are we leaving?" You asked with curiosity.

“Actually, I need to do something, and I need your help”. She said, a serious expression on her face.

“Oh, okay then”.

“I am making a cure for poison joke, is a simple all-natural remedy. The little Apple Bloom is also helping me, so I need your help with it”. Poison joke? Is that some kind of spell?

“Okay, I think I can help”. I smiled.

“Perfect. Little AppleBuck is coming here soon, so you both will find the ingredients for the cure”. You was about to answer when a light knock was heard from the door. You and Zecora were looking extremely confused at each other. Both of you stood up and were slowly walking to the door.

“Hello? Zecora? It’s me, AppleBuck” The unknown person said. Zecora opened the door to reveal a anthro yellow little pony, he have a pink mane and orange eyes that looked at you with curiosity.

“Little AppleBuck, you’re here very soon” Zecora said, catching the attention of the little male.

“Oh, yeah. I wanted to make it soon for help my big bro and his friends” The male named AppleBuck answer as he smiled.

“Well, come in. I will show you the ingredients” You and Zecora let Apple Bloom enter the hut and closed the door “Little AppleBuck, this is (Name) (Last Name), she will help you with the cure for poison joke. That is, if it is not a nuisance to you”.

“Of course not! You’re welcome!” He said with a warmly smile. You smiled back.

“Perfect. Here is the ingredients” Zecora hand over a small paper with some drawings on it as you both went to the door “Have fun you two”.

“Bye bye Zecora!” You both said at the same time. AppleBuck guide you on the forest while trying to find the ingredients. “So, sorry for asking, but what are you? I mean, you look a little like the ponies from Ponyville, but a bit different. It’s not like I’m complaining. Just curious” He smiled.

"Well, you see… I am not from here…” You tried to find the right word, keeping caution for not to be discovered.

“Hm. That’s why you’re different. Many creatures appear very often in Equestria. So I was a bit curious of what creature was you”. He explained. “There’s many others like you from where you came from?”.

“It was supposed to be” You gave her a small smile.

“So that means you’re the last one?!” He gave you a excited and curious look, his eyes sparkling.

“I guess you can say that” You make a nervous smile.

“Wow! Some day I can show you to my friends! They will be so curious about you! Wait, from where you are from, you have a cutie mark?”

Cutie mark?

“Cutie mark? What’s this?” You ask, a little felling of curiosity surrounding you.

“Cutie marks are often related to the personality, proclivity, or talent of ponies” He explained with a big smile.

“Oh, so I guess I don’t have one” You sincerely answer. You don’t think humans are capable for such a thing.

“Oh my Gosh! You can be part of ‘The cutie mark crusaders’!”

“And what you do?”

“Me, Skaterloo and Squeaky Bell don’t have cutie mark, so we make a club for the three of us to find our cutie marks together!” He smiled widely, but soon faded. “But we don’t find it yet. So, we keep trying to find one”.

“Well, everyone is special in their own way. And you, well, have the determination to find what you want to. So, I wish you a good luck to find what you and your friends wants, even if you are special without the cutie mark”. AppleBuck was almost shocked with the sudden words. Suddenly, you were engulfed into a hug from AppleBuck.

“Thank you so much, (Name). This means a lot for me!” He squealed while you returned the hug. Soon, both of you broke the hug and smiled “Now, let’s find the ingredients before it gets too late!” You nodded and follow him through the woods.

Time skip.

Once you found the ingredients described in the list, you hear some noises coming from Zecora’s hut, and the door was wide open, you could see some shadows coming from inside the hut. Maybe Zecora is talking with someone? You and AppleBuck approached the hut as AppleBuck started saying:

“Zecora! I think we found all the things you asked for.” Both stared at the sight in front of you. Five anthro ponies guys and Zecora looked at you two. One have purple fur, its horn was a little down and with blue polka dots while he was in front of Zecora. The other has blue fur and rainbow mane with a rope around his mouth and he have wings. The other have a strange white fur and strange purple mane, also have a horn. The other with pink fur was with his tongue out of his mouth with blue polka dots. The last have yellow fur and also have wings. You also see a small one, about the size of a little mouse, gripping the ear of Zecora.

“What in Ponyville is going on here?” AppleBuck broke the awkward silence in the room.

“AppleBuck! You’re okay!” The small one gasps.

“Why wouldn’t I be?” He smiled.

“Because Zecora is an evil enchantress, who cursed us and was gonna cook you and the “(Name)”, that I suppose is this girl by your side, in a soup!” The male with purple fur quickly came in front of you two in a protective manner. You, Zecora and AppleBuck looked at him in shock, then you three burst in laugh, making the five males look a little confused.

“Oh, Dusk.” AppleBuck started, “Did those silly fillies finally get in your head? You know there’s no such thing as a curse”.

“AppleBuck, dear. You can’t just stand there and tell me this isn’t a curse” He pointed to his friends.

“This isn’t a curse” AppleBuck said as you and him walked past them.

“If you will remember back, the words I spoke were quite exact” Zecora explained.

Flashback.

“Beware. Beware, you ponyfolk. Those leaves of blue are not a joke”.

“It was a warnin’. About that blue plant” AppleBuck said.

“It’s called poison joke” You finished.

“That plant is much like poison oak. But its results are like a joke” Zecora explained.

“What in the hay does that mean?” The small male asked.

“It means this plant does not breed wrath. Instead this plant just wants a laugh” Zecora answer him. However, he doesn’t seem pleased.

“Will somepony please talk normal?”

“I think what she’s saying is that when we ran in to save AppleBuck… We ran into the poison joke” Dusk explained, trying to process what just happened, “All our problems are just little jokes it played on us!” He smiled once he found out what really happened.

“LITTLE JOKES?!” The small male exclaimed, “Very funny”.

“Okay, fine” The rainbow male started, “But… What about the cauldron?”

“And the chanting” The male with yellow fur said with a rough voice.

“And a creepy decor” The male with white fur said.

“Treasures of the native land where I am from” Zecora pointed to two masks, “This one speaks “Hello” and this “Welcome””.

“Not welcoming at all, if you ask me” The male with white fur said pointing out to a mask.

“The words I chanted were from olden times. Something you call a nursery rhyme” Zecora said.

“But… The cauldron… The AppleBuck and (Name) soup…” Dusk started trying to understand this part.

“Lookie here, Dusk. That pot o’ water wasn’t for us. It was for all these herbal ingredients” AppleBuck points out to a book.

“The cure of poison joke is a simple all-nature remedy. You just gotta take a bubble bath” You finished as AppleBuck takes the small male in her hands.

“But I tried to find a cure in all my books and couldn’t find anything. What book has this “Natural remedy” ?” Dusk asks while looking the page on the book. But Zecora come in and close the book.

“Here is the book, you see?” Dusk sees the book cover, looking surprised, “Sad that you lack it in your library”.

“Actually, I do have this book. But I didn’t look inside, because the title was so… Weird.” Dusk explained. Zecora opened the book again in some page, “Supernaturals: natural remedies and cure-alls that are simply… super” He seems a little guilty, “I… I’m sorry, Zecora. I had the answer the whole time if only I bothered to look inside”. Zecora laugh.

“Maybe next time you will take a second look. And not judge the cover of the book” Zecora pointed out. You and Apple Bloom laugh.

“Zecora, would you be kind enough to mix up another batch of the herbal bath?” Dusk asks a little shyly.

“Mix it up I certainly will” Dusk smiled, “Yet I am missing an herb from Ponyville”.

“But whenever Zecora comes to town, all the shops are mysteriously closed” AppleBuck pointed out as you two approach them.

“Oh, well… I think we can help you with that” Dusk smiled at you three.

Time skip to Ponyville.

(You are wearing the cap for don’t show you up).

“Look Rose! How awful!” A female pony exclaimed.

“The wicked enchantress has cursed them all!” Another one exclaimed too.

“The horror! The horror!” Another yelled then they all run away to their houses screaming. Dusk went to one of the house and knock the door, revealing the one that yelled.

“Daisy, we need to talk” He said.

Time skip again.

“Dear Prince Solaris, my friends and I all learned an important lesson this week. Never judge a book by its cover. Some may look unusual or funny or scary… But you have to look past that and learn who they are inside. Real friends don’t care what your cover is. It’s the contents of the pony that count. And a good friend, like a good book, is something that will last forever. Your faithful student, Dusk Shine.”

“Miss Zecora, I would love to get the recipe for this bath. It’s simply luxurious” A female pony with blur fur and pink mane approach Zecora, AppleBuck and (Name). Before Zecore could answer, AppleBuck exclaimed:

“Applejack! Hey, where is Applejack?!” The males on the bath started to panic and tried to find Applejack.

“I’m right here, lil’ bro” He said while sitting in the bucket, “I ain’t tiny no more”.

“Oh, I have never felt so lovely in all of my life!” Elusive said, looking relaxed. Suddenly, Bubble Berry.

“Oh my gosh! I never realized how horrible is not to be able to talk! I mean I love to talk so much and I couldn’t talk at all when my tongue was all EEEH! It was the worst! Don’t you agree, Butterscotch?” Butterscotch remained silent for a second before saying “Yes” with his normal voice. The whole group laughed.

So, this is the biggest one that I could do. I'm sorry if there's some misspellings. I already review the chapter, and I don't find one, but if you see, i'm really sorry.
