Chapter 1.5: Interrogation #1

Previous Chapter

Somewhere in New York…

“Wait just a minute, so you claim that you met six talking horses?” The interrogator asked, showing irritation and anger in his voice.

“Ponies.” Blackburn corrected him.

“Go make yourself a fuckin waffle,” He responded. “I’m telling you, this guy’s a lunatic.”

“We’re not here to test his sanity; we’re here for intel on a terrorist threat.” Another interrogator said, with a calm voice.

Good Cop, Bad Cop. Can never have two of the former. Blackburn thought.

“Sergeant, do you remember anything at all about these ponies? Anything unique?”

“Not much, sir. The cyan one had a rainbow mane and tail, pink one seemed to defy the laws of physics, white one seemed to hate dirt, yellow was scared all the time,  orange had a country accent and wore a Stetson, and purple was too curious. The cyan and yellow ones had wings, and the white and purple ones had horns on their heads.”

“So you claim you met not only six talking ponies, but they had wings and horns?” The “bad cop” asked.

“Yes sir.”

“I think we are diverting away from the subject, Sergeant. Now, after you met the ponies, what happened? I need to know everything you remember.” The second interrogator asked. Blackburn couldn’t help but feel like they were hiding something, but just shook it off. The CIA were always hiding something…

Yes, it is short, but cutscenes are never really long are they? Plus, you can’t exactly drag this on until 1,000 words. It would end up having poor quality, and disrupt the flow of the story with the good ol’ “Dafuq?” moment. Honestly, i'm not very proud of this myself, I feel as if this low of a word count lets you guys down. You expect a chapter that takes more than 2 minutes to read, and I give you this. Well, tell me if you like the "custom" cutscenes. Trust me, the later ones will be longer.
