Author's Note
If you have a better title name please tell me in the comments. This was meant to be rushed, it was just a quick idea and I wanted to write it down and post it before I forgot it.

I love you
Twilight walked the halls of Canterlot castle, getting closer and closer to her former mentors chambers. She needed to talk to Celestia about a crush she has because she doesn't know what to do.
Arriving at her former mentors chambers she took a deep breath and let it out before knocking on the door. It only took a couple of seconds before she heard a response from the other side.
"You may enter." The voice said calm and serene like always.
Twilight used her magic to open the doors enough for her walk into then shut them behind her. Looking around the room she spotted Celestia at her tea table.
"Hello princess, I needed to talk to you." Twilight started to get nervous.
Celestia beckoned Twilight over to sit down and have some tea. Twilight walked over to the tea table and sat down looking at the cup of tea in front of her.
Celestia took a sip of her tea before asking. "What is it that you needed to talk about Twilight?"
Twilight looked away blushing. "I needed to talk to you about somepony I like. I need your advice."
Celestia raised an eyebrow at Twilight. "Oh, what are they like."
"Well she is-"
"She?" Celestia interrupted Twilight.
"Yeah it's a she and I really like her too." Twilight blushed furiously.
Celestia finished her tea got up and walked to the balcony. Celestia turned to Twilight and beckoned her to join her. "Join me Twilight."
Twilight quickly finished her tea and walked to the balcony to join Celestia.
"Now Twilight, please tell me what she is like."
"Well she is strong, and powerful. Her mane glistens in the sun. She knows what to do under stressful situations. And just completely beautiful and-"
Celestia placed her hoof on Twilight's mouth silencing her. Using her wings she picked up Twilight and kissed her. While she was kissing Twilight she noticed that Twilight wasn't kissing back. Releasing the kiss she looked at Twilight.
Twilight's eyes were wide with embarrassment. "It wasn't you Celestia." She said quietly looking away.
Celestia's eyes widened as tears were threatening to be realesed. "W-who is it then that you love?"
"Applejack."
When Celestia heared the name of the pony that stole Twilight away from her she felt a new emotion. Hatred. Hatred for stealing Twilight away. Hatred for that farm pony.
"Celestia, I hope this doesn't change our relationship."
Celestia brought out of her thoughts responded with her kind and calm voice. "Of course it doesn't my faithful Twilight." But on the inside Celestia felt hatred and sadness.
Twilight smiled and hugged her former mentor. "Thank you, Princess."
It was the hottest summer yet on Sweet Apple Acres. The sun was blazing and nothing the Apples did nothing would grow. Over time the plants and apple trees started to die until there was nothing left.
They couldn't make any money so the Apple family filed for bankruptcy and closed the farm down for good. They had to move into a shack. Where over time each Apple withered away and died. First it was Granny Smith, then AppleBloom, then Big Mac, and finally Applejack.
Devastated when she found out, Twilight locked herself in her room and cried over Applejack's death the pony she loved. Twilight didn't even know this happened to Applejack nor did anypony else. "If I had just *sniff* known about what was happening to you Applejack, if you just would have told me, I would have done everything I could to help you." Twilight continued to cry into her pillow.
Nothing could cheer Twilight up, not even one of Pinkie's parties could help Twilight. Sure everypony was devastated when they found out the Apple family died but noone was more devastated then Twilight was.
Fearing for Twilight, Spike sent a letter to Princess Celestia, hoping she might be able to help Twilight. But what nopony knew was that it was Celestia who caused the tragedy.
A few minutes later Celestia arrived. Walking into Twilight's castle she made her way to Twilight's room. Knocking on the door she waited for a response. But none came.
"Twilight, it's me, are you alright?" Celestia knocked on the door again.
Lifting her head off her pillow Twilight looked at the door and used her magic to unlock it before letting her head drop back on her pillow.
Hearing the click of the door unlocking Celestia walked inside. She saw Twilight on her bed crying into her pillow. Walking up to the bed she layed down next to Twilight and drapped a wing over her back pulling her into a comforting embrace.
Twilight couldn't take it anymore, she threw herself at her former mentors neck crying into her fur. "Gone, shes gone Celestia. Applejack is gone." Twilight bawled her eyes out into Celestia's fur.
Celestia raised her hoof and placed it on Twilight's head trying to comfort her.
"Shhh, there there Twilight, it will be alright." Celestia cooed in Twilight's ear. Her only response was Twilight crying into her neck.
A few minutes went by before Twilight spoke up. "Don't leave me Celestia."
Celestia was a little surprised to hear that but smiled. "Never."
2 years later
It took Twilight two years to get over Applejack's death and move on. After she got over the death of Applejack she started to have feelings for Celestia. When she realised she fell in love with Celestia she acted upon it and told her. Once Twilight told Celestia she loved her Celestia dove in for a kiss which was given back this time.
The kiss broke and they looked into each others eyes before Celestia spoke up. "Twilight, will you go out with me."
"Of course."
8 years later
Celestia and Twilight were sitting right next to each with their wings draped over each other looking at the sunset. They dated for five years before Celestia asked Twilight to marry her which Twilight gladly accepted.
Celestia and Twilight looked at each other lovingly and kissed.
"I love you, Celly."
That nickname was something only Twilight was able to call her and she loved it every time Twilight called her that.
"I love you too, Twi."
They both leaned in again and kissed each other lovingly before they broke the kiss and turned back to the sunset enjoying each others warmth.
Celestia smiled to herself enjoying the time shes been spending with her wife Twilight.
"I love you so much Twilight, I won't ever leave you." Celestia said quietly to herself.
