Equestria's Historical Mythological: Myths & History

Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria there were two humble brothers, not in blood, but by bond, who brought order to all the land. In order to achieve this elder and the younger, used their powers to stop time for everything except life, but they could only achieve this when awake. So, they took turns: the elder friend slept at night and stopped time during the day and the younger friend slept during the day and stopped time at night. Thus the two maintained tranquility for all by forcing all ponies to depend on each other and of themselves. But as time went on the younger grew angry and corrupt after learning a monstrous secret. One ominous day the younger friend refused to stop time to end the tranquility. The elder friend did his best to reason with him, but the younger brother’s infinite patience and famous kindness has reached its limit and turned him into a cruel pony of evil. He promised to move time for everything and all living things to end peace. Fortunately, the older friend gathered the most poweful magic known to ponydom: the elements of disharmony. Using the elements of harmony the elder placed the young friend to an eternal sleep in a cave. The elder friend took charge in  day and night and tranquility has been maintained ever since.
