HODRICK FOR THE WIN!!!
Prologue: is this dark magic?
Boring... boring is a word that can describe Twilight Sparkles life for the past month. There are many reasons for this, like most of her friends have a job and she had a library that almost has nopony visiting or even checking out a book! She always thought of visiting her parents or even the princess's but she didn't have the feeling to get up at that moment. She also thought of paying her friends a visit but didn't want to be a nuisance. So like the past month, she has been having a lazy day, but that is about to change.
-Ponyville Library-
"Spike!" Twilight yelled from the basement door.
"What is it Twilight!?" Was the reply from the other room.
"Hurry up and come down here to help out clean the basement with me!.... I'll need all the help I can get." That last part was whispered since she didn't want to discourage the little drake.
Since she didn't have anything to do she decided to renovate the library. Not a lot to do when there's nopony to talk to but your little brother and to yourself and don't look at me like that, we all talk to our shelves.... moving on. We are nearly finished and the basement is what we decided to do last because, how dirty and messy it is in there. With her magic and Spike, they will finish in no time. That's if he will hurry up and get his little butt over here to start!
She can hear the pitter patter of Spikes feet as he runs through the hallway towards her from the other room. She always wondered when he would start growing in size. Not many things are known about dragons so she almost has no clue on when dragons start growing. What she is truly confused about is if he will ever grow wings or is spike some kind of subspecies of Dragon or is that natural for there kind? She came to the conclusion that she will find out sooner or later when he starts growing up.
"Well, are you done daydreaming or are we going to finish cleaning out the basement?" Twilight was interrupted from her thoughts when Spike spoke.
"Sorry Spike what did you say?" was the reply he got from the question she didn't hear.
"We need to hurry and finish cleaning so I can go to sleep."
"Well, we still need to finish the library."
A grunt of displeasure was all she got from the little dragon. Spike thought Twilight would have forgotten or just felt too lazy to finish the library, but it seems as if his checklist loving sister was keeping track on what they have done and what they needed to do. When they started they began with the boxes filled with small trinkets, banners, streamers, and other miscellaneous items from pinkie's parties. Inside the basement were also broken furniture that was replaced or removed from different incidents and all of these things were either going to be thrown away or saved for a later date. Things were going well with the teamwork from both of them... But there was always something to distract them.
"Twilight what is that?" was the weary question from her brother across the room.
When she turned around to see what Spike was talking about, she looked at him and saw what he was pointing at and stared intently at a slight lavender glow from a couple of untouched boxes. She trots closer to the light, and she notices it is under the boxes near the back. She asks Spike to help her move the boxes to investigate. The glow got slightly brighter and by the time there were only four boxes in the way, she could see the edge of something written on the floor and it was glowing. By the time they got all the boxes moved aside, all they saw was what seemed to be a random scrawling of curved and straight lines that was glowing a light purple.
She trotted over mesmerized, She laid a hoof on it just for it to light up a bit and disappear. Remembering the color purple and how it was smoking a bit of purple smoke, she was reminded by an old mad king and his usage of dark magic. backing off out of instinct, she summoned a shield and told Spike to get a quill and parchment and to send a letter, there's something going to happen and she doesn't think it will be good at all...

It was dark in the room but it was fine like that because in the room was a man, a man that is playing Dark Souls Three. His name was Anthony and he was in the area after killing Pontiff but most call it "gank city" because this place is where all the action happened and where tears of denial are shed and where fingers are pointed down. Anthony was having a great time gank spanking people who thought the little group of three would stop him from getting another vertebra shackle for his collection but it seems his fun will come to an end in more ways than one
-An apartment in Las Vegas-
"Fuck!" was the yell from apartment 139 as Anthony was killed by a gank squad that he couldn't kill because the Aldrich Faithful didn't help at all. The yell was not One of anger but a mixture of happiness and excitement even though he died.
He was so close too! One swing away from killing the host but no, he got hit by a Lothric straight sword and died. Being sent back to the balcony outside the Pontiff door. He never used tears of denial in pvp because it is a cheap way to survive with almost no health, just to run away and heal up. As much as he loved the game, it sometimes frustrated him to no end.
"What time is it?" As he pressed the home button to look at the time his eyes widen to see he was late to a Dark Souls Three live stream. He rushed to his phone to get on the mixer app to see if the guy is still streaming, just for the stupid phone to turn off due to the fact it was at one percent. With no time to waste, the phone was put to charge near his bed. There were better things to do other than Dark Souls Three, like cleaning the house, go out to the gym, and eat but he was having a bit to much fun this day, so he decided to stay a bit longer. While he took a break laying down on the couch, I relaxed a bit. That's until my TV went dark.
"What the hell?" Was the words that came out of my mouth as I looked at the TV.
The first thing that came to my head was that my game crashed but the game would pop back on to just go black to a black screen again. Then I thought it was the TV but before I could do anything, the game popped back into place but it looked odd. My character was the same but the problem was the surroundings, It wasn't there. the only thing I could stand on was the small arena after defeating Pontiff, where people would duel and the balcony where people would stand at before jumping in after a contender would die, fight club was the name they called it. As I grabbed the controller to my Xbox one S, I walked to the balcony and looked around a bit just to find out there is nothing to look at other than what I mentioned. I don't know if I mentioned it but everything other than what I can see, which is the balcony and the arena was pitch black like the Untended graves area.
It was weird, to say the least, but I had an idea. I messaged a friend through Xbox, I told him to go to the area after Pontiff and wait for my white sign. he texted back an 'Alright bitch' so I sent one back and after that, I sat and wait. As I went to my phone to see if it had enough power to take a picture and saw it indeed have enough, so I powered it on and set it down and waited for it to start up. I got a message from my friend telling me that he couldn't see my sign, so went to my tv and noticed I did forget to place down my sign. With the controller in my hands, I looked to see if it was possible to place my sign down, just to see it was possible. It was purple but since I was using a White Soapstone it looked a tad pink or lavender.
I was walking to my phone for that picture I wanted to take just to feel my legs weren't responding. Feeling scared, I looked down to see a white ring of runes spinning around my feet or was that my head that was spinning because I felt light headed. Everything around me turned slightly dark just for it to go back to normal and back to slightly dark for some odd reason. I looked down again just to see that... I was falling? Or was it phasing because I was doing one the two. First, my ankle's went through, then my knees, then my hips, then my body, and as my head was about to go through the floor I shut my eyes and held my breath out of instinct, prepared for the worst but I felt as if it still wasn't enough.

Back, back again
Chapter 1: Running, Stumbling, What's the difference?
The light was the first thing I noticed in this dark place. The 'light' was a nice shade of purple and it was occurring relatively slow, so I wasn't very concerned. I don't know how long I've been in this fucking place but I think that I'm beneath my house but I was growing impatient and annoyed at my predicament. As I was moving up, my upper body started to contort, as were my hands. The position made me feel like I am trying to pick something up in an odd way and it looks like something was appearing in my hands out of thin air. It was difficult to see because it was blurry but still visible, I can also feel the things in my hands as I tried to get a grasp on it. My left-hand appeared to be holding a disc of some sort and to my right was a long pole with a handle that felt good in my hand.
I was contemplating calling for help, for the people that might be above me. I think I remember a couple living in the apartment above my own. Before I could open my mouth to call for help, my head was above the floor of what I believe was my house. It was extremely bright, so I shut my eyes from the light that felt like the morning sun that nobody liked at all. As my entire body finally finished its slow ascend from the ground, I felt one more thing besides the pole and the disc in my hand. I felt heavy as if I was in rather weighty clothing or I had some heavy objects on my body besides the ones that I felt in my hands.
Finally opening my eyes, I put my hands up prepared for the worst.

When I heard a chariot land, I presumed Princess Celestia finally came to help, and Then I heard five more landing after the first chariot. I backed up the stairs and to the door, cautious of the writing that use to be in the back corner of the basement. I closed the door and placed a spell on the handle to lock it. Hurrying to my front door to greet the princess, I expected to see Princess Celestia outside my door. When I opened my door, I saw Princess Luna with Princess Celestia in the back talking with her Guards.
"Greetings Ms. Sparkle, we have obtained a letter that thou art in great peril, is this accurate?" she said as she looked over me into my home.
Looking behind myself, she gave Spike a look that said 'we'll talk later.' she turned around to address the Princess
"There seems to be a misunderstanding with the letter," I said a bit apprehensive.
Withdrawing into your house, you give room for the Princess's to pass into your home. She gives you a perplexed look as she passes by you, to look around. Guards of all three types of ponies follow the Princess inside, to investigate. Looking outside, you see the princess you expected approaching to you, so you rush over for a hug. You felt her long neck belonging to your Princess nuzzle your head and drawback to look at you.
"Good morrow Twilight, I've received a letter from what I think is Spikes claw writing, is it true? is something endangering you," the Princess asked
"Not exactly...," was the short answer I gave to my mentor.
The awkward silence that came was one I didn't like. I wanted for the ground to devour me right then as Princess Celestia was giving me an odd look. The princess might banish me to the sun and just to get obliterated by the heat and power it holds. There were many scenarios that she can imagine, but the one that terrifies me the most is the prospect that my mentor might send me to magic kindergarten.
The princess noticing her students face contorting to one of nervousness and slight fear she gave a smile and with the most comforting voice, she spoke.
"Well my faithful student, what might be the reason young Spike send me a letter?" she asked.
Composing myself slightly, I was finally able to open my mouth without choking on my words. I closed the door for this was going to be long explanation.

The home of my sister's student seems to be well as if there was no crisis. There was no broken glass nor a destroyed piece of furniture. I turned around to walk to our guards for it seems they have discovered something. I looked over our guards to look upon the door with a lock spell. Stomping my hoof for our guards to kindly move out of the way, I lit up my horn, and with little to no difficulty, I got rid of the spell and opened the door.
"What might thou be hiding Ms.Sparkle?" I said as I ordered our guards to follow.
We peered down the stairs as if there is a deadly monster lurking beneath the house of Ms.Sparkle. Trotting down the stairs with our horn still glowing, we kept our guard up for unexpecting attacks or traps. Reaching the bottom of the stairs with a sense of foreboding, we looked around for any sign of threats. We heard an 'all clear' from the Captain of the guard, so we lowered our defense and started to look around for something out of place in this basement. Looking around ourself, we looked for some kind of evidence to show the whole trip here was not a waste of time.
Ready to call off the search for something that might not be there, she was interrupted by an extraordinary sound and a light. Turning to the left to look at something in the rear corner, I saw what looked like purple runes that spun slightly around in a circle. I felt strange magic I've never sensed before in the long time I've lived. I prepared my horn to either summon a powerful shield or to send a stun spell for whatever might happen.
Then it happened... what seems like a tall purple body came out the ground in a way that seems impossible. I summoned the shield in front of myself and then expanded it more to engulf the guards as well. The details came to me as I observed it, noticing it was holding a disc on its left appendage and greatsword on its right. It raised its shield as well as its greatsword, looking for a fight with me. I smiled with excitement.

The stupidly bright light that blinded me finally started to fade away so I could see. Slowly lowering my arms, I opened my eyes and blinked a few times to get rid of the blurriness, so I could actually see things clearly. I took a few steps back and tried to rub my eyes to relieve an itch, just to hit myself with something rather hard. I was really going to lose my shit if I keep discovering shit I don't like. Like the fact that I felt I got punched in the gut by a bodybuilder on steroids.
I nearly tripped on some boxes? I don't fucking remember having boxes in my living room or invited some cunt in my house to punch me in the gut for some laughs. I stumbled away trying to look around but it was so damn hard to see due to the blurriness in my eyes. My eyes didn't seem to want to work... Lazy pricks. I turned around and saw some blobs, white, gold and a little red was what I saw but the thing that got all my attention was the wiggling purple and blue mass that was yelling shit at me. I was losing my shit so I looked to the left and saw my escape.
I already came to the conclusion that this was not my home when I saw stairs leading up somewhere. I tried to run to the stairs, but tripped on some boxes and stumbled like some idiot and ran into the purple abomination. we fell in a mangling of limbs until I righted myself on top And the thing on the bottom. I was on the floor and on top of the thing I was trying to run from. I was feeling stupid so I tried to get up but the beast under me started to wail on my face and chest with its limbs.
Out of instinct, I swung a left hook to what seemed to be its head and made contact with the ground. I looked at my first just to see and remember I had a disc attached to it. Before I could throw another swing, I was violently thrown off of the thing and landed in a way no one would have liked. I scrunched up my face with pain but got up to look for the stairs. The things friends seemed to finally shake them self's from shock to advance to me.
Luckily for me, I had some of my leg coordination back so I ran to the stairs. I made sure there were no boxes in the way so I didn't trip and break my neck on the stairs. The stairs were small and made it look like I was running 5 steps at a time but I ignored that for the moment. I reached the door to slam it open with my shoulder due to the fact I still had objects in my hands. I kept holding them for makeshift weapons if I needed them.
As I burst through the door I heard a yell from a kid but I kept running forward to escape. I didn't look around for a door because it seems the Gods have blessed me today. The door to the outside was just in front of me and I can see the suns rays shining through under the door. With freedom in sight, I went on a dead sprint towards the door. Still sprinting I jump and kicked the door open to keep my momentum and speed to keep running outside. The light blinded me but free from the inside of this fucking place. I was f-
