The IMC Remnant Fleet is on the defensive. The Frontier Militia, emboldened by their victory on Planet Typhon, have launched a new offensive against the remaning IMC forces in the Frontier. Reinforcements from the Core have yet to arrive, and every day brings more casualties for both sides.

The IMC ARES Division, headed by General Marder, initiates Operation Homefront. A strategic move to lure the Militia into the Core Systems, and trap them between hammer and anvil.

However, word of the Operation reaches the Militia, who plans a trap of their own, to break the Remnant Fleet and the IMC once and for all.

In the ensuing battle, the Remnant Fleet flees to an unknown destination. The Militia follows, and discover the IMC fortress world of Equestria, secretly conquered and subjugated before the Battle of Typhon.

However, the Equestrians are eager to be free. The arrival of the Frontier Militia could be the catalyst they have hoped for, the one that would free their world.
