The Expert in Time manipulation
A unicorn stallion sauntered down the empty road that led to Old Appleloosa. He wore a white cloak that contrasted greatly with the dismal wasteland around him. His cloak covered every part of him except for his tail and his horn. The tail was a dusty gray that seemed to shine in the moonlight and the horn had spirals that glowed a bright blue.
He paused to look at the settlement that practiced slavery. "Of all of the solutions to execute... they had to pick the worst one..."
"I'm sure that you wouldn't stand for it. What do you think? Should I stop for a visit?" The pony looked up at the moon and nodded. "I was hoping you would say that." The stallion said. Under the cloak, he was smiling.
The unicorn walked up to the gate and knocked.
After a few minutes of waiting he started tapping his hoof impatiently. "How do the ponies run this place at all?"
There was brief shouting and a sentry on the wall addressed him. He had a pipe rifle aimed at the pony's head. "What are you doing here? Are you a buyer or a merchant?"
"I'm a pony. That's all you need to know."
The slaver smirked and put his tongue on the trigger. "If your not a buyer than I'll be taking that cloak of yours."
A shot rang out and the raider waited for the corpse to fall over. After a couple of seconds of silence the raider became confused. He looked at the pony but it was still standing. The bullet that he had shot was spinning in the air. Right in front of the pony's head.
The pony flipped back his hood and looked at the raider in the eye. "Release the slaves or I'll have to hand out bad times and that would be a crummy juncture indeed." The unicorn's face had a scar running down the side of his face and a grin that sent shivers down the slaver's spine.
The slaver galloped to the post and pressed the button on the console. The compound became loud with the warning of the oncoming storm. The mercenaries jumped from their poker game and nearly ran into each other. That siren meant that somepony was going to assault the compound.
The pony outside pulled out a pair of dice and rolled it after he heard the siren. He silently hoped for a seven but it landed on a 6. "The Time-Lock spell... I can have fun with that too I guess."
He picked up a large amount of rocks from the side of the road and threw them at the gate. Before the rocks hit the wall, he cast a Time-Lock spell on them that caused them to stop in mid air. "That will keep any from escaping."
The stallion removed his hoof from the cloak and looked at the Pip-Buck. It was white and decorated with smiley stickers.
He went to his inventory and equipped both of his .44 magnums. They materialized on the straps of his foe-hooves beneath his cloak. The ammo was strapped to his hind-legs.
Around 50 mercs appeared on the wall. Most of them had better gear than the slaver including one Fat-Mare and a couple of laser riffles. One of the mercs was bigger than the others and looked at the slaver angrily. "Why did you sound the alarm?! It's only one pony!"
The slaver shiver like he was in a snowstorm. "You don't understand! It's The White Death!"
"What are you talking about? That's just a myth."
The slaver shook his head. "Slaver settlements have been disappearing over night! The survivors warn others of The White Death. I didn't listen and now we're all going to die if I don't release the slaves!"
The leader of the mercenaries scoffed. "How are you going to pay all of us if you don't get paid? Your not gunna give away our payment!"
"His head is worth more bits than I can give you in five years!"
"Then we'll kill him. Easy."
Just then another merc entered the post. "Orders sir?"
"Kill him."
"Yes sir."
The mercs lined up on the wall and looked at the unicorn. He had set up a fire and was cooking rad-scorpion on a sheet of metal. He looked up at the wall. The sheet of metal and the food disappeared as he stood up. "Done talking?" The mercs all pointed their guns at the unicorn and aimed. "Guess so."
"Fire!"
The sound of gunshots and laser beams filled the empty space between them. As the bullets approached, the unicorn used his Time-Lock spell to freeze the bullets at different intervals. As the lasers approached he lifted his cloak. The cloak completely absorbed the laser shots and glowed red.
After the mercs stopped shooting they noticed a trail of bullets hanging in mid-air.
The unicorn smiled and took a step forward while the mercs reloaded. He took a look at the bullets in the air and hopped onto the nearest pair.
The mercs were surprised to see the unicorn using the bullets as steps to get closer. They fired desperately at the unicorn until there was a solid bridge of bullets for him to stand on. Some of the mercs jumped onto the bridge with swords and knives while others took flight.
The unicorn stood in the middle of the bullet bridge and looked at the sky with his eyes closed. The moon shone down on him and his eyes took on a white hue.
"Down, Left, Up, Right."
He ducked as a griffin merc slashed where his neck used to be and jumped to the left as a laser shot grazed across his cheek. An earth pony went to tackle him head on.
The unicorn crouched and jumped as high as he could. The earth pony fell and landed on the scattered rocks below, littering him with holes.
He turned to the right, lifted his hoof, and fired two rounds into the previous griffon's chest.
"Three down. About forty more to go."
There was a pause as all of the mercs looked at the unicorn on the bridge of bullets. The silence stretched until several mercs jumped off the wall and ran.
The leader of the mercs saw this and bellowed, "Kill the deserters! No one leaves alive til' that unicorn is dead!"
Most of the mercs aimed while others questioned their life choices. When mercs pulled the trigger, their guns exploded in their faces. The deserters hid behind a large boulder in the distance. Watching the fight play out before them.
"Fort-three down. One to go." He looked at the wall covered in dead mercs and then looked at the last merc.
He stepped out of the post with a spear in his clutches. The spear glowed purple with runes and enchantments.
The unicorn's horn glowed but it didn't effect the spear. He couldn't touch it with his magic at all.
The griffon leader laughed, "You like it? I've killed hundreds of unicorns with this weapon!"
The unicorn stopped in front of him and sat down.
"You don't have to do this. The only thing keeping you here is your pride! Stand down and I'll let live to see your trial."
"Your worth more to me dead than alive. Your head will make me set for life. I'm not giving up yet!"
The griffin charged forward with his spear and collapsed a few feet from the unicorn. His breathing was labored and he clutched at his chest before he passed out.
The unicorn got up and walked over to the griffin. He closed the griffin's eyes and said, "So be it."
The unicorn went further into the compound and broke the lock to every cage inside. He disarmed every mine in the area and gave all of the former slaves enough food for a feast. He solemly went up to the stronger ones and gave them the weapons of the dead mercs, making them promise to 'Shoot with their heart, not their eyes.' He picked up all of the bullets that hung in the air and stored them to be recycled at a later date. The mercs that deserted were sworn to do good and warn those that didn't. For if they continued their dark ways, they would be visited by The White Death.

Made this after a brief inspiration from a song. My first story to be posted. Point out my mistakes and give me feedback! I want to know what you think!
