Adolf Hitler began his plan to invade the Soviet Union. Sending in 3.8 million of his soldiers, along side the three divisions of Equestria's Army, towards the Russian line. Before the battle begins, the German officer in charge of the ponies begins his speech. "Hello, my "friends". Welcome to your first experience at combat! You will charge ahead of our army and take out the defensive line before the Soviets retaliate." The German Officer said. "But, what about armored support? We've only got guns and swords, and the Soviets have tanks, airplanes, and a whole other stuff that require heavy artillery." A pony soldier said. "Don't worry, our troops will back you up," the Officer said. If the ponies could have heard him, they would have heard him say "after you're all dead.". The ponies were giving time to prepare their charge of the Russian defence. They mostly made small talk with any Germans willing to talk with them. One particular soldier, a 16 year-old named Klaus, seemed to be interested in a mare named Sally... Unbeknownst to either of them, this would be both their first and last conversation. The Battle. The ponies began their charge. The sounds of machine guns, explosions, and screams erupted. A large amount of the invasion force were killed in the first few minutes alone. One by one the ponies were brutally killed by the Soviets, all the while losing faith in both the promise of reinforcements and Princess Celestia. There were few survivors. Most, if not all, the mares were raped by the Soviets, some mares were killed afterwards. Some ponies were taken prisoner while others managed to hide, still in shock of what happened. One mare who was taken captive was gang-raped by the Soviets, one in her mouth, one in her butt, and one in her marehood. She was killed by them after their climax. Sally First-person POV. Why Celestia? Why? We were told joining the Axis was the smart thing to do... From what I've seen and what's happened so far show it to be the worst possible choice! We were told we'd have support, but instead we had no support.... We were massacred! I am inside a Soviet camp, more specifically the officers tent, and what I've seen happen to my friends makes me wish I were dead.... These.... Men.... Have tortured us in ways that are too horrible to believe... I have been.... Violated... In ways that I never knew possible... They've raped, stabbed, and beaten me... All that keeps me going is Klaus. A young German soldier I met before this battle began. He and I got along real well. I even gave him a apple from my rations. "Thank you, my friend! Here have a bite of this!" He said in a cheery tone as he handed me a chocolate bar. I took it in my mouth and thanked him. I don't know why, but he and I seemed to spark, that spark you get when you meet your special somepony, or in his case someone, for the first time and you know it to be true. "Klaus, I hope to see you again." I said to him, now I know those words to be empty. "Me too, my love." He said in response. I don't think he intended to call me his love, but he did. I wish I could see him one more time... Because I know what's going to happen to me. The man, if you can even call him that, that is in charge of this camp has plans... I can't even erase what he did to me and my friends out of my mind. "No! Please! Mercy!" One of the stallions shouted. "You want mercy, you filthy facist horse?! You shall have none!" The Russian said. Bang! With that, the stallion fell, dead. A mare attempted to plead for mercy but was forcibly bent over and... Oh Celestia... Was bucked, I'm not talking about kicking, in her marehood before having her throat slit. On occasion, they'd just let a few live... And that's how I ended up here. As I was hauled here, I noticed a few other survivors of my division taking shelter in some hedge grows. Once I was brought here, I was tortured for information... These madmen... They... Oh Celestia! Their here! No, please no! I'm sorry, Klaus, I'm sorr- Bang! Klaus First-Person POV, the next morning. We marched towards the front, and what I saw will haunt me for the rest of my life. Ponies of various types, genders, and colors... All dead in ways to horrible to imagine. I took pictures of the corpses to document the battles aftermath. We continued through the fields, killing any Soviets along the way.... Those Soviets, they deserve to burn in Hell for what they did. We found survivors, hiding in some bushes, they were shook up bad. The stallions glancing over their shoulders. But what really set me on edge were the mares. They were shaking, but their hindlegs seemed to be shaking worse of all, they held their tails between their legs and did various other actions of defence that told me just what had happened to them... These Soviet Monsters raped these innocent and pure creatures mercilessly. "Sir! There are survivors! They are in bad shape, we need to get them a medic!" I said to my commanding officer, he said nothing in reply. He examined the survivors before obe spoke up. "Please let use go home..." The mare begged. "I'm sorry, Ms. but I'm afraid you're going somewhere else." My CO said as he aimed his MP-40 submachine gun at the survivors and slaughtered them... "No!!!!" I shouted. Enraged by his actions. "Private Klaus! Need I remind you that as a officer of the Third German Reich, what I say and do is in the best interest of the Fürher! So keep your outbursts to yourself!" He shouted. I felt like yelling that he did not deserve his title but kelt my mouth shut for the rest of the day. During the evening, we found a Russian camp, we slaughtered them like the dogs they are. I was horrified by what I saw in the Officers Tent... There, on the ground, was the body of my beloved Sally. She had a bullet hole in her head. When I suggested burying her, my CO said something that pushed me too far. "She is not OUR kind, Klaus, she doesn't deserve to be buried." He said with a satanic grin. I lost it and that night, I and three of my friends plotted our defection from the Third Reich. Princess Celestia had to know how her ponies were treated. We waited until nightfall, than we snuck into our CO's tent, I pulled out my knife and jammed it into my former officers throat. He gagged on his own blood as he slowly died. My friends and I fled the camp and ran towards the nearest port, hopped on a boat, and headed for Equestria. Once we arrived we headed towards Canterlot. After reaching the castle, I ordered my friends to stay outside. I ran inside the castle, the guards tried to stop me but I barged into the throne room anyways. "Sister! How could you have been so foolish as to think that joining the Axis was the right thing to do? Reports are coming in that the entire three divisions sent to aid the Germans during Operation Barbarossa were all killed by the Soviets!" I heard Luna shout. I interrupted the conversation when I ran up to the table they and the element barers were sitting at. "I have urgent news Princesses!" I shouted. "I'm sorry, your highness, but he wouldn't listen to-" "I wish to hear what this boy has to say." Celestia interrupted. "Thank you, your majesty. What I have to say involves you, your sister, and Twilight Sparkle only. No one else is required." I explained. Celestia excused Twilight's friends from the throne room. Once they were gone, we went straight to business. "I have news involving the massacre in Russia." I explained. "Go on." Celestia said. I continued. "Not all your ponies were killed. Some survived. Most were, unfortunately, captured and later murdered by the Soviets... While others hid in bushes to avoid capture." "The survivors were found by my unit, I witnessed their pain... They were beaten and broken, the mares were raped. My CO... Murdered the survivors in cold blood when they begged to return home." I finished. All three ponies gasped. They realized what I said to be true and excused me from the throne room... I can only hope Celestia joins the Allies and stops Hitler in his tracks. Luna's POV. "Celestia, surely you see by now that joining the Axis was a mistake!" I said, slamming a hoof on the table. "We must join the Allies and make the Nazis pay!" I finished. "We cannot simply change sides. We'd end up looking like lone wolves." My sister replied. I gritted my teeth and growled "fine" as I stormed out of the Throne room. Franklin Delano Roosevelt's POV. I sat in my office when a letter appeared in front of me. Dear Allied Powers. I, Princess Luna, hereby announce Equestria will now be joining you. The events surrounding this change are hard to explain but I promise we will be your new Allies. Sincerely, Princess Luna. "So it looks like they've come to their senses. I think I should inform Churchill to accept this offer." I said. Knowing that ol' Churchill got the same message. Author's Note Here is my theory on what would happen if the ponies somehow ended up in our world during WW2 and sided with the Axis. As you can tell, Luna is disobeying her sisters wishes and is siding with the Allies. Let me know in the comments, should Luna's forces be called "Luna's Brigade" or "Luna's Millitia.". The one with the most likes will be the official title. My votes on Luna's Brigade, but this is a user interaction so it's your choice. Prequel Chapter: War-Dawn Part 1.Author's Note This is part one of a prequel chapter that explains the events leading up to the main story to help you better understand what happened. Also the year at the beginning of the story is labeled 2011/2012 because I believe that the timeline for the first episode of the series was the year it aired, 2010. And since the first episode of season 4 took place one year afterwards, and I'm not quite sure if season 8 is currently still in the same timeframe or if it is another year, I labeled it as 2011/2012. Prequel Chapter: War-Dawn Part 1. Equestia, 2011/2012 It was a beautiful day in Ponyville. The Mane 6 were preparing a surprise party for Starlight Glimmer, everything was going according to plan. The only thing missing was, Discord. Discord was supposed to be at Twilight's castle but was absent. "Where could he be?" Asked Twilight. "It's not like Discord to be late for something Fluttershy invited him to." It was true. Anytime Fluttershy was involved, Discord was usually the first invited guest to show up. "Bah, knowin' him, sugarcube, he probably don got caught up in somethin' or other." Applejack responded. "Yes, darling, he has been very busy lately." Rarity added. As Rarity had said, Discord, for some reason, had been working on something special for all of Equestria. But mostly for Fluttershy. "Oh, I hope he's alright..." Fluttershy. "Don't worry Flutters, I'm sure he's just making Chocolate Rain from Cotton Candy Clouds." Rainbow Dash joked. "Alright girls, the party will start once Starlight and Tempest, I mean Sizzlepop, get back from their meeting in the Changeling Kingdom. So that gives us sometime to prepare. I will see what Discord is up to while you girls, and Spike, get the decorations." Twilight said as she trotted out of her castle. The others had been setting up the party decorations, waiting for Twilight to return. Finally, the castle door opened. And Twilight walked in with a strange look on her face. "I'm sorry girls, but I couldn't find Discord anywhere." Twilight said. Something seemed... Off about her, but the others brushed it off. They all went to work on the surprise party. Meanwhile. Discord's Dimension. "Done! Now I finally found this "Human World" Twilight Sparkle spoke of. Now, all I've got to do is..." Discord said as he fiddled with the dimensions. Unaware that he had both the wrong human world, and the wrong time period. Discord initiated his spell to transport all of Equestria, minus surrounding areas, to the human world. There was a bright flash and soon Discord looked in horror as he realized his mistake. "Oh poo. Wrong world and, apparently, wrong time.... Oh well, I'm sure they'll be fine. Back in Ponyville, Simultaneously. The mane 6 had just finished setting up the party when, out of nowhere, came a loud boom. "What in the hay was that?" Applejack asked. Before anypony could answer, a blinding flash fell all across Equestria... And soon Equestria vanished. Meanwhile, in The Changeling Kingdom. Starlight Glimmer and Tempest Shadow, or as some preferred Sizzlepop Berrytwist, were discussing the issues of Queen Chrysalis with Thorax. Normally, Starlight would have gone with Trixie but do to Trixie being sick, Tempest was used as a second option. "So you think Queen Chrysalis is planning another attempt to take over Equestria?" Thorax asked. "Well, sort of. All I know is that while on an outing with my friends the other day, some strange things happened. From what I gathered, clones of Twilight and her friends attempted to steal the elements from the tree of harmony but instead caused a minor disaster that nearly tore our friendship apart." Starlight explain. The conversation was interrupted by Tempest running in with a panicked look on her face. "Equestia just disappeared!" Tempest shouted. "WHAT?!" Starlight and Thorax yelled in response. Atlantic Ocean, March 1st, 1941, Kriegsmarine Office POV. We had been patrolling the Atlantic for a few days and had seen a lot of strange and unusual things, but what happened this morning was... Beyound explanation. While out on a routine U-Boat patrol, our U-Boat came upon an island. The island must have appeared over night, because we've been in this part of the Atlantic Ocean for a week now and this island was not there before. But that's not the strangest part. When I sent some men to do reconnaissance of the island, they said things that struck me as completely illogical. The island wasn't an island, it was an entire country! The country appeared to have a castle on the side of a mountain. The country was inhabited by pastel colored ponies of varying shapes, sizes, and colors. The ponies appeared to even have unicorns and pegasi. And all the ponies could talk, in English of all languages! I just had to see this for myself. True to the men's word, the country felt like a whole new world. Magical talking ponies, I was sure we had died and gone to some heavenly afterlife. Until I encountered a few inhabitants. They were a group of what I correctly guessed were pony children. One was a yellow pony with a red mane and was wearing a pink bow in her mane. The other was a white unicorn with milky white fur and a pink and purple curly mane. The last one was a orange pegasus with a purple mane. All three had what looked like pink/purple shields on their bums. Each shield had a different emblem and, at the time, I was confused as to what they represented. I had learned English during training, so if I ever ended up on a diplomatic mission involving boats I'd be able to communicate with British and other English-speaking people, so I put my skills to the test. "Hell-Helloo?" I said which gathered their attention. "Well howdy mister... Whatever-you-are, I'm Applebloom and these here are mah friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo." Applebloom said. She spoke in a Southern American accent. The other two seemed to have different approaches. "Sup! Wow you're tall. Also nice uniform!" The orange one, Scootaloo, said. "Um... Hi.... I don't like this girls, he looks kinda scary. He's tall, and he has a sword attached to his belt." Sweetie Belle added. I admit that the sword, and the fact that my men and I were probably the only humans in this country, more than likely made us look like monsters with evil intent. "Oh, this? Don't fear little one. It's just used for cutting trees while marching through forests." I said. It wasn't entirely a lie. I have, in fact, used my cutlass to remove foliage that blocked my path. But it is mostly used to slice open enemy soldiers... I left that last part out for a multitude of reasobs, mostly because they were just children. "See Sweetie? He's like a big ol' teddy ain't 'cha?" Applebloom said. Her improper English bugged me but I didn't let it get to me. "I suppose I should introduce myself, I am Johane Fritz of the German Kriegsmarine. I am here because this place appeared out of nowhere." I said. We talked on the subject, for what seemed like hours, as we walked through the place called "Ponyville" and boarded a train towards "Canterlot". To me, half these names seemed made up. But from what I discovered, this place is called "Equestria" and it is ruled by two princesses. Princess Celestia and her sister Princess Luna. I plan to introduce myself to these women -Er, mares, as soon as I get to their castle. I hope my men can keep this place a secret, last thing we need is this beautiful place getting involved in this war. Prequel Chapter: War-Dawn Part 2Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Prequel Chapter: War-dawn Part 3March 4th, 1941, Canterlot, Peace Conference. Celestia POV. Everything was ready for this moment. The conference room was made to accommodate the leaders of this new world we were brought to. The conference started off well but, as some would expect, ended horribly. "Welcome to Canterlot. I am Princess Celestia and I have gathered you all here for one purpose: To see if peace can be arranged. If not, than I will use today's meeting to decide with whom my country will fight alongside with." I said opening the conference. "Alright. Let's just get this out of the way, why are we here listening to this creature who obviously wants to interfere in our disputes?!" Angrily asked Joseph Stalin, leader of tge Soviet Union. "Because her country is currently stuck in the middle of the conflict." Correctly said Adolf Hitler. "As much as I, personally, hate to say it. Hitler is right, Equestria is right in the middle of this bloody war." Said Winston Churchill of England. "Agreed." Everyone, except Stalin, said. The conversation went on for a while, I actually began to wonder how their countries were doing without them, but every now and than I'd have to break up a fight. These humans are like little fillies and colts. Eventually, it became obvious that peace would definitely NOT be an option, mainly because the only thing they seemed to all agree on was that this war was necessary somehow... All except Franklin Delano Roosevelt, or F.D.R. for short. "I feel I must add that if this war continues, there might not be a world for anyone to inhabit." Roosevelt said. I, personally, couldn't agree more. "Bah!! This is a necessary war! Why did the... Princess.. Even invite you? Your country isn't even involved in this war!!!" Screamed Stalin. I nearly fell out of my chair. "Wait, the United States is not a part of the war?" I asked. "Of course not. Not yet at least. Why?" Asked Roosevelt. "Because you were a member of the Allies in the last war!" Hitler exclaimed. "I merely figured you'd still be a part of them in this war, as a silent partner, since you refused to aid my country when the Hindenburg exploded, Over your country I might add." "Wait, my country and Japan were both a part of the Allies in the last war, I am confused..." Benito Mussolini of Italy said. "Don't worry, My friends, I explained everything to her, including how your countries were both wronged by the Allies.. Despite being a part of them." Hitler explained. "Princess Celestia, we are honoured by your... Intervention as Stalin so rudefully stated, but the Japanese Empire needs me." Said Emperor Hirohito of Japan. "You're right. Now, since peace can not be made today I suppose now is the time to decide who my country will side with... Allies, or Axis?" I asked. "You mean which can give you the better protection? Bah!!! No one cares about your pathetic country!!! I am leaving this... "Peace Conference" now!" Screamed Stalin as he left the room. "What my uncouth friend meant is that with this war we simply don't have enough resources to lend to you, your highness, and it is highly unlikely you would be oc any help with your low military strength... So I guess the only real option is to remain neutral. Now if you excuse me, I've got to head home... The people of Great Britain need me." Winston said as he left the room. I was shocked... The Allies refused to offer support to protect my little ponies from harm! I don't know why but I felt so very angry at them. "I can't say much because, as we've discussed, my country is not yet a part of this war. All I can say is go with what YOU think is right." Roosevelt said as he, too, left. The only ones who remained were the Axis. They stayed even when their archrival's stated the facts. "Princess Celestia," Hitler spoke. "if you side with us we will give you everything you need to protect your people-err, Ponies, from harm. All you have to do is just join us without going through all the piles of research." Eventually, the other Axis leaders added what they would offer. They left for their own countries and I was left alone with Twilight Sparkle. "Princess Celestia, I think we should join the Axis. They seem like they actually want to help us." Twilight said. I listened to her, and decided to join the Axis Powers. Twilight's Castle, "Twilight Sparkle" POV. Once I returned to "my" home, I trotted around with glee. For once in my life, one of my plans was going to work! "Hehe... This is too perfect. Celestia thinks that the Axis will keep up their end of the bargain... But I know what will really happen... The Axis will use Equestria's soldiers as cannon fodder, than once Equestria has outlived it's usefulness... Celestia and the ponies will be vanquished forever! This is the ultimate revenge!! Once all the ponies are slaughtered, I will declare myself Queen of all the remains of Equestria! Muwhahaha!!!!" I yelled. This day would be... Hehehe... Perfect. March 5th, 1941. Third-Person POV. And so, the leaders of the Allies and the leaders of the Axis received a letter from Princess Celestia. Dear World Leaders, After yesterday's meeting, I consulted with Twilight Sparkle... And so I've decided that my country will fight alongside the Axis Powers. Signed: Princess Celestia. The Axis powers cheered at this. While tge Allies, except for Stalin, were shocked. This meant one thing for the Allies... Equestria was now an enemy and any and all peace talks with Equestria were off. Canterlot Royal Castle, Princess Luna POV. How could she have been so foolish?! While Stalin appeared to be King Sombra in Human form, the other Allies, namingly Roosevelt, were so friendly. And they did have a point. "Dearest sister, are you sure this is a wise course of action?" I asked. I wasn't just referring to her rash decision, but also her decree that all ponies, 18 years of age and older, were to report for military training in Canterlot. "Yes, Luna, I am sure." Celestia responded. I didn't say anything... All I knew was that if I couldn't find a way to convince her to leave the Axis and join the Allies, Equestria would be doomed. Third-person POV. And so began Equestria's involvement in the Second World War. Plans were laid out, and the Axis planned to invade the Soviet Union... The most ruthless country, even more so than the Third German Reich, that Hitler had a pact with. The ponies who joined the army were in for a horrific and bloody surprise. Author's Note And done! This is the 3rd and last part of War-Dawn! Now I can get to work on the second, or third if you count this three-parter, chapter. Also, this is your last chance to vote for the name of Luna's soldiers. Luna's Brigade or Luna's Militia? Operation:Torch/Charge of Luna's Brigade.December 8th, 1941. Third Person Pov. "Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 -- a date which will live in infamy -- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan." President Roosevelt said in response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The attack prompted the US to enter the war on the Allied side. Making them the third country this year to join the Allies. The first was the Soviet Union, and the second was Equestria. November 8th, 1942, Operation Torch. Private Allen POV. Today, my unit and I were deployed to North Africa. While we were fighting alongside the British, we were also joined by, and I'm not joking, a military unit from Equestria! This unit, calling themselves Luna's Brigade, were going to be helping us kick the Krauts out of North Africa. After a beach landing, my unit ended up sharing a Half-track with a few members of Luna's Brigade. They were very kind, I even shared some of my rations with one of them. They really made my day. From what I learned from them, Princess Luna had made a deal with our President that their involvement was to be a secret until we've won this campaign. From the way things are going so far, we'll liberate North Africa in no time! Private Lily Hoof POV. I was in this vehicle called a half-track with the rest of my unit. The driver was shot by enemy snipers causing everyone to get out and take positions in the open. I ended up fighting alongside Private Allen. A real sweetheart. I was nervous and couldn't seem to keep my magic steady. Allen grabbed my rifle with his hand and held the scope towards my eye so I could aim better. I shot several enemies. The battle was over and we had to set up camp. I shared a tent with Allen. "Thanks for the help back there." I said as I lyed down next to him. "Hey, no problem." He replied. We didn't talk much, mainly because he was tired and I wanted to let him sleep. Battle of Kasserine Pass. Charge of Luna's Brigade. Third Person POV. In February of 1943, the Allies attempted to take Kasserine Pass from the North Afrika Korps. The result was a bloodbath and a tactical Axis victory. The battle also saw what would become known as "The charge of Luna's Brigade." Where the remaining members of Luna's Brigade charged the the enemy lines. The charge, while not victorious, resulted in Equestria's involvement in the war alongside the Allies going public. While a large portion of the Brigade were killed in the charge, some managed to flee while others were captured, and later released back to the Allies, by the North Afrika Korps under orders from Fieldmarshal Erwin Rommel. This is what happened. Seeing that there was no way to achieve victory, Commander Hoofburg decided to lead a charge to buy the Americans time to escape. He gathered up all the remaining members of Luna's Brigade and began the charge. They were shot at with everything the Axis had. Blood, guts, body parts, and bodies piled up all around them as they charged. They managed to breach the first few lines of defense only to be driven back by a panzer division. While most of the survivors made it out, some were taken prisoners under the orders of Erwin Rommel. After the charge, the Allies used it as an example of Allied ingenuity. Letting the whole world know that Equestria was officially an Allied nation. Princess Celestia POV. "Equestria joins the Allied cause! During the battle of North Africa, soldiers of Equestria's military force fought alongside our boys against the Axis powers. Officially making them an Allied nation! As many of you already know, Equestria is a country that appeared two years ago. And up until now, no one knew who they'd join... Looks like Princess Celestia made the right decision." The radio said. I couldn't believe what I just heard... My ponies fighting for the Allies when I said we joined the Axis? And what did the Radio mean by "Up until now, no one knew who'd they join."? It didn't take me long to figure out who was responsible for this... My own sister. "Luna, care to explain why you disobeyed my decree and sent soldiers to fight alongside the Allies?" I asked her. "Because, dear sister, your choice was the wrong choice! The Axis were just using us! Remember what that German soldier told us? How his commanding officer promised OUR ponies reinforcements that never came, and EXECUTED the survivors just because they had been tortured!" Luna yelled. "Your decision coast the lives of three battalions! Whereas MY decision saw a larger amount of survivors!" Luna added. "Enough! You're right..." I said. "What?" Luna asked. "You're right. I don't know why I joined the Axis in the first place... Nor why Twilight agreed that it was the wisest choice..." I answered. "I guess- wait... Where is Twilight?" Luna asked. "Now that you mention it... I think I saw her leave the castle after the radio announcement ended." I explained. What could Twilight be up to? Canterlot, "Twilight Sparkle" POV. "I should have seen this coming..." I said in regards to the news of Equestria joining the Allies. "Oh well... Looks like I'll have to pay Heinrich Himmler a visit. But first, to get out of this disguise." I said as I changed into my true form. I, Queen Chrysalis, was not about to let my revenge plan be hindered by Celestia's soft heart... Hopefully, Himmler isn't as big of an idiot as Hitler is... Himmler's Office. Heinrich Himmler POV. I sat in my office going over the latest reports, when I heard a voice call out to me from the darkness. "Heinrich..." The voice said. "Who's there?!" I demanded. Out of the darkness came what looked like a unicorn crossed with a bug... I wasn't scared but I was curious. "I am Queen Chrysalis. I want to make a deal with you... One that only a fool would pass up on..." She said. "What deal?" I asked. "I know what you want... Power, unlimited power. What I want however... Is revenge! Together, we can accomplish our goals." Operation: BarbarossaSunday, June 22nd, 1941, 3rd Person POV. Adolf Hitler began his plan to invade the Soviet Union. Sending in 3.8 million of his soldiers, along side the three divisions of Equestria's Army, towards the Russian line. Before the battle begins, the German officer in charge of the ponies begins his speech. "Hello, my "friends". Welcome to your first experience at combat! You will charge ahead of our army and take out the defensive line before the Soviets retaliate." The German Officer said. "But, what about armored support? We've only got guns and swords, and the Soviets have tanks, airplanes, and a whole other stuff that require heavy artillery." A pony soldier said. "Don't worry, our troops will back you up," the Officer said. If the ponies could have heard him, they would have heard him say "after you're all dead.". The ponies were giving time to prepare their charge of the Russian defence. They mostly made small talk with any Germans willing to talk with them. One particular soldier, a 16 year-old named Klaus, seemed to be interested in a mare named Sally... Unbeknownst to either of them, this would be both their first and last conversation. The Battle. The ponies began their charge. The sounds of machine guns, explosions, and screams erupted. A large amount of the invasion force were killed in the first few minutes alone. One by one the ponies were brutally killed by the Soviets, all the while losing faith in both the promise of reinforcements and Princess Celestia. There were few survivors. Most, if not all, the mares were raped by the Soviets, some mares were killed afterwards. Some ponies were taken prisoner while others managed to hide, still in shock of what happened. One mare who was taken captive was gang-raped by the Soviets, one in her mouth, one in her butt, and one in her marehood. She was killed by them after their climax. Sally First-person POV. Why Celestia? Why? We were told joining the Axis was the smart thing to do... From what I've seen and what's happened so far show it to be the worst possible choice! We were told we'd have support, but instead we had no support.... We were massacred! I am inside a Soviet camp, more specifically the officers tent, and what I've seen happen to my friends makes me wish I were dead.... These.... Men.... Have tortured us in ways that are too horrible to believe... I have been.... Violated... In ways that I never knew possible... They've raped, stabbed, and beaten me... All that keeps me going is Klaus. A young German soldier I met before this battle began. He and I got along real well. I even gave him a apple from my rations. "Thank you, my friend! Here have a bite of this!" He said in a cheery tone as he handed me a chocolate bar. I took it in my mouth and thanked him. I don't know why, but he and I seemed to spark, that spark you get when you meet your special somepony, or in his case someone, for the first time and you know it to be true. "Klaus, I hope to see you again." I said to him, now I know those words to be empty. "Me too, my love." He said in response. I don't think he intended to call me his love, but he did. I wish I could see him one more time... Because I know what's going to happen to me. The man, if you can even call him that, that is in charge of this camp has plans... I can't even erase what he did to me and my friends out of my mind. "No! Please! Mercy!" One of the stallions shouted. "You want mercy, you filthy facist horse?! You shall have none!" The Russian said. Bang! With that, the stallion fell, dead. A mare attempted to plead for mercy but was forcibly bent over and... Oh Celestia... Was bucked, I'm not talking about kicking, in her marehood before having her throat slit. On occasion, they'd just let a few live... And that's how I ended up here. As I was hauled here, I noticed a few other survivors of my division taking shelter in some hedge grows. Once I was brought here, I was tortured for information... These madmen... They... Oh Celestia! Their here! No, please no! I'm sorry, Klaus, I'm sorr- Bang! Klaus First-Person POV, the next morning. We marched towards the front, and what I saw will haunt me for the rest of my life. Ponies of various types, genders, and colors... All dead in ways to horrible to imagine. I took pictures of the corpses to document the battles aftermath. We continued through the fields, killing any Soviets along the way.... Those Soviets, they deserve to burn in Hell for what they did. We found survivors, hiding in some bushes, they were shook up bad. The stallions glancing over their shoulders. But what really set me on edge were the mares. They were shaking, but their hindlegs seemed to be shaking worse of all, they held their tails between their legs and did various other actions of defence that told me just what had happened to them... These Soviet Monsters raped these innocent and pure creatures mercilessly. "Sir! There are survivors! They are in bad shape, we need to get them a medic!" I said to my commanding officer, he said nothing in reply. He examined the survivors before obe spoke up. "Please let use go home..." The mare begged. "I'm sorry, Ms. but I'm afraid you're going somewhere else." My CO said as he aimed his MP-40 submachine gun at the survivors and slaughtered them... "No!!!!" I shouted. Enraged by his actions. "Private Klaus! Need I remind you that as a officer of the Third German Reich, what I say and do is in the best interest of the Fürher! So keep your outbursts to yourself!" He shouted. I felt like yelling that he did not deserve his title but kelt my mouth shut for the rest of the day. During the evening, we found a Russian camp, we slaughtered them like the dogs they are. I was horrified by what I saw in the Officers Tent... There, on the ground, was the body of my beloved Sally. She had a bullet hole in her head. When I suggested burying her, my CO said something that pushed me too far. "She is not OUR kind, Klaus, she doesn't deserve to be buried." He said with a satanic grin. I lost it and that night, I and three of my friends plotted our defection from the Third Reich. Princess Celestia had to know how her ponies were treated. We waited until nightfall, than we snuck into our CO's tent, I pulled out my knife and jammed it into my former officers throat. He gagged on his own blood as he slowly died. My friends and I fled the camp and ran towards the nearest port, hopped on a boat, and headed for Equestria. Once we arrived we headed towards Canterlot. After reaching the castle, I ordered my friends to stay outside. I ran inside the castle, the guards tried to stop me but I barged into the throne room anyways. "Sister! How could you have been so foolish as to think that joining the Axis was the right thing to do? Reports are coming in that the entire three divisions sent to aid the Germans during Operation Barbarossa were all killed by the Soviets!" I heard Luna shout. I interrupted the conversation when I ran up to the table they and the element barers were sitting at. "I have urgent news Princesses!" I shouted. "I'm sorry, your highness, but he wouldn't listen to-" "I wish to hear what this boy has to say." Celestia interrupted. "Thank you, your majesty. What I have to say involves you, your sister, and Twilight Sparkle only. No one else is required." I explained. Celestia excused Twilight's friends from the throne room. Once they were gone, we went straight to business. "I have news involving the massacre in Russia." I explained. "Go on." Celestia said. I continued. "Not all your ponies were killed. Some survived. Most were, unfortunately, captured and later murdered by the Soviets... While others hid in bushes to avoid capture." "The survivors were found by my unit, I witnessed their pain... They were beaten and broken, the mares were raped. My CO... Murdered the survivors in cold blood when they begged to return home." I finished. All three ponies gasped. They realized what I said to be true and excused me from the throne room... I can only hope Celestia joins the Allies and stops Hitler in his tracks. Luna's POV. "Celestia, surely you see by now that joining the Axis was a mistake!" I said, slamming a hoof on the table. "We must join the Allies and make the Nazis pay!" I finished. "We cannot simply change sides. We'd end up looking like lone wolves." My sister replied. I gritted my teeth and growled "fine" as I stormed out of the Throne room. Franklin Delano Roosevelt's POV. I sat in my office when a letter appeared in front of me. Dear Allied Powers. I, Princess Luna, hereby announce Equestria will now be joining you. The events surrounding this change are hard to explain but I promise we will be your new Allies. Sincerely, Princess Luna. "So it looks like they've come to their senses. I think I should inform Churchill to accept this offer." I said. Knowing that ol' Churchill got the same message. Author's Note Here is my theory on what would happen if the ponies somehow ended up in our world during WW2 and sided with the Axis. As you can tell, Luna is disobeying her sisters wishes and is siding with the Allies. Let me know in the comments, should Luna's forces be called "Luna's Brigade" or "Luna's Millitia.". The one with the most likes will be the official title. My votes on Luna's Brigade, but this is a user interaction so it's your choice.
Prequel Chapter: War-Dawn Part 1.Author's Note This is part one of a prequel chapter that explains the events leading up to the main story to help you better understand what happened. Also the year at the beginning of the story is labeled 2011/2012 because I believe that the timeline for the first episode of the series was the year it aired, 2010. And since the first episode of season 4 took place one year afterwards, and I'm not quite sure if season 8 is currently still in the same timeframe or if it is another year, I labeled it as 2011/2012. Prequel Chapter: War-Dawn Part 1. Equestia, 2011/2012 It was a beautiful day in Ponyville. The Mane 6 were preparing a surprise party for Starlight Glimmer, everything was going according to plan. The only thing missing was, Discord. Discord was supposed to be at Twilight's castle but was absent. "Where could he be?" Asked Twilight. "It's not like Discord to be late for something Fluttershy invited him to." It was true. Anytime Fluttershy was involved, Discord was usually the first invited guest to show up. "Bah, knowin' him, sugarcube, he probably don got caught up in somethin' or other." Applejack responded. "Yes, darling, he has been very busy lately." Rarity added. As Rarity had said, Discord, for some reason, had been working on something special for all of Equestria. But mostly for Fluttershy. "Oh, I hope he's alright..." Fluttershy. "Don't worry Flutters, I'm sure he's just making Chocolate Rain from Cotton Candy Clouds." Rainbow Dash joked. "Alright girls, the party will start once Starlight and Tempest, I mean Sizzlepop, get back from their meeting in the Changeling Kingdom. So that gives us sometime to prepare. I will see what Discord is up to while you girls, and Spike, get the decorations." Twilight said as she trotted out of her castle. The others had been setting up the party decorations, waiting for Twilight to return. Finally, the castle door opened. And Twilight walked in with a strange look on her face. "I'm sorry girls, but I couldn't find Discord anywhere." Twilight said. Something seemed... Off about her, but the others brushed it off. They all went to work on the surprise party. Meanwhile. Discord's Dimension. "Done! Now I finally found this "Human World" Twilight Sparkle spoke of. Now, all I've got to do is..." Discord said as he fiddled with the dimensions. Unaware that he had both the wrong human world, and the wrong time period. Discord initiated his spell to transport all of Equestria, minus surrounding areas, to the human world. There was a bright flash and soon Discord looked in horror as he realized his mistake. "Oh poo. Wrong world and, apparently, wrong time.... Oh well, I'm sure they'll be fine. Back in Ponyville, Simultaneously. The mane 6 had just finished setting up the party when, out of nowhere, came a loud boom. "What in the hay was that?" Applejack asked. Before anypony could answer, a blinding flash fell all across Equestria... And soon Equestria vanished. Meanwhile, in The Changeling Kingdom. Starlight Glimmer and Tempest Shadow, or as some preferred Sizzlepop Berrytwist, were discussing the issues of Queen Chrysalis with Thorax. Normally, Starlight would have gone with Trixie but do to Trixie being sick, Tempest was used as a second option. "So you think Queen Chrysalis is planning another attempt to take over Equestria?" Thorax asked. "Well, sort of. All I know is that while on an outing with my friends the other day, some strange things happened. From what I gathered, clones of Twilight and her friends attempted to steal the elements from the tree of harmony but instead caused a minor disaster that nearly tore our friendship apart." Starlight explain. The conversation was interrupted by Tempest running in with a panicked look on her face. "Equestia just disappeared!" Tempest shouted. "WHAT?!" Starlight and Thorax yelled in response. Atlantic Ocean, March 1st, 1941, Kriegsmarine Office POV. We had been patrolling the Atlantic for a few days and had seen a lot of strange and unusual things, but what happened this morning was... Beyound explanation. While out on a routine U-Boat patrol, our U-Boat came upon an island. The island must have appeared over night, because we've been in this part of the Atlantic Ocean for a week now and this island was not there before. But that's not the strangest part. When I sent some men to do reconnaissance of the island, they said things that struck me as completely illogical. The island wasn't an island, it was an entire country! The country appeared to have a castle on the side of a mountain. The country was inhabited by pastel colored ponies of varying shapes, sizes, and colors. The ponies appeared to even have unicorns and pegasi. And all the ponies could talk, in English of all languages! I just had to see this for myself. True to the men's word, the country felt like a whole new world. Magical talking ponies, I was sure we had died and gone to some heavenly afterlife. Until I encountered a few inhabitants. They were a group of what I correctly guessed were pony children. One was a yellow pony with a red mane and was wearing a pink bow in her mane. The other was a white unicorn with milky white fur and a pink and purple curly mane. The last one was a orange pegasus with a purple mane. All three had what looked like pink/purple shields on their bums. Each shield had a different emblem and, at the time, I was confused as to what they represented. I had learned English during training, so if I ever ended up on a diplomatic mission involving boats I'd be able to communicate with British and other English-speaking people, so I put my skills to the test. "Hell-Helloo?" I said which gathered their attention. "Well howdy mister... Whatever-you-are, I'm Applebloom and these here are mah friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo." Applebloom said. She spoke in a Southern American accent. The other two seemed to have different approaches. "Sup! Wow you're tall. Also nice uniform!" The orange one, Scootaloo, said. "Um... Hi.... I don't like this girls, he looks kinda scary. He's tall, and he has a sword attached to his belt." Sweetie Belle added. I admit that the sword, and the fact that my men and I were probably the only humans in this country, more than likely made us look like monsters with evil intent. "Oh, this? Don't fear little one. It's just used for cutting trees while marching through forests." I said. It wasn't entirely a lie. I have, in fact, used my cutlass to remove foliage that blocked my path. But it is mostly used to slice open enemy soldiers... I left that last part out for a multitude of reasobs, mostly because they were just children. "See Sweetie? He's like a big ol' teddy ain't 'cha?" Applebloom said. Her improper English bugged me but I didn't let it get to me. "I suppose I should introduce myself, I am Johane Fritz of the German Kriegsmarine. I am here because this place appeared out of nowhere." I said. We talked on the subject, for what seemed like hours, as we walked through the place called "Ponyville" and boarded a train towards "Canterlot". To me, half these names seemed made up. But from what I discovered, this place is called "Equestria" and it is ruled by two princesses. Princess Celestia and her sister Princess Luna. I plan to introduce myself to these women -Er, mares, as soon as I get to their castle. I hope my men can keep this place a secret, last thing we need is this beautiful place getting involved in this war.

Prequel Chapter: War-dawn Part 3March 4th, 1941, Canterlot, Peace Conference. Celestia POV. Everything was ready for this moment. The conference room was made to accommodate the leaders of this new world we were brought to. The conference started off well but, as some would expect, ended horribly. "Welcome to Canterlot. I am Princess Celestia and I have gathered you all here for one purpose: To see if peace can be arranged. If not, than I will use today's meeting to decide with whom my country will fight alongside with." I said opening the conference. "Alright. Let's just get this out of the way, why are we here listening to this creature who obviously wants to interfere in our disputes?!" Angrily asked Joseph Stalin, leader of tge Soviet Union. "Because her country is currently stuck in the middle of the conflict." Correctly said Adolf Hitler. "As much as I, personally, hate to say it. Hitler is right, Equestria is right in the middle of this bloody war." Said Winston Churchill of England. "Agreed." Everyone, except Stalin, said. The conversation went on for a while, I actually began to wonder how their countries were doing without them, but every now and than I'd have to break up a fight. These humans are like little fillies and colts. Eventually, it became obvious that peace would definitely NOT be an option, mainly because the only thing they seemed to all agree on was that this war was necessary somehow... All except Franklin Delano Roosevelt, or F.D.R. for short. "I feel I must add that if this war continues, there might not be a world for anyone to inhabit." Roosevelt said. I, personally, couldn't agree more. "Bah!! This is a necessary war! Why did the... Princess.. Even invite you? Your country isn't even involved in this war!!!" Screamed Stalin. I nearly fell out of my chair. "Wait, the United States is not a part of the war?" I asked. "Of course not. Not yet at least. Why?" Asked Roosevelt. "Because you were a member of the Allies in the last war!" Hitler exclaimed. "I merely figured you'd still be a part of them in this war, as a silent partner, since you refused to aid my country when the Hindenburg exploded, Over your country I might add." "Wait, my country and Japan were both a part of the Allies in the last war, I am confused..." Benito Mussolini of Italy said. "Don't worry, My friends, I explained everything to her, including how your countries were both wronged by the Allies.. Despite being a part of them." Hitler explained. "Princess Celestia, we are honoured by your... Intervention as Stalin so rudefully stated, but the Japanese Empire needs me." Said Emperor Hirohito of Japan. "You're right. Now, since peace can not be made today I suppose now is the time to decide who my country will side with... Allies, or Axis?" I asked. "You mean which can give you the better protection? Bah!!! No one cares about your pathetic country!!! I am leaving this... "Peace Conference" now!" Screamed Stalin as he left the room. "What my uncouth friend meant is that with this war we simply don't have enough resources to lend to you, your highness, and it is highly unlikely you would be oc any help with your low military strength... So I guess the only real option is to remain neutral. Now if you excuse me, I've got to head home... The people of Great Britain need me." Winston said as he left the room. I was shocked... The Allies refused to offer support to protect my little ponies from harm! I don't know why but I felt so very angry at them. "I can't say much because, as we've discussed, my country is not yet a part of this war. All I can say is go with what YOU think is right." Roosevelt said as he, too, left. The only ones who remained were the Axis. They stayed even when their archrival's stated the facts. "Princess Celestia," Hitler spoke. "if you side with us we will give you everything you need to protect your people-err, Ponies, from harm. All you have to do is just join us without going through all the piles of research." Eventually, the other Axis leaders added what they would offer. They left for their own countries and I was left alone with Twilight Sparkle. "Princess Celestia, I think we should join the Axis. They seem like they actually want to help us." Twilight said. I listened to her, and decided to join the Axis Powers. Twilight's Castle, "Twilight Sparkle" POV. Once I returned to "my" home, I trotted around with glee. For once in my life, one of my plans was going to work! "Hehe... This is too perfect. Celestia thinks that the Axis will keep up their end of the bargain... But I know what will really happen... The Axis will use Equestria's soldiers as cannon fodder, than once Equestria has outlived it's usefulness... Celestia and the ponies will be vanquished forever! This is the ultimate revenge!! Once all the ponies are slaughtered, I will declare myself Queen of all the remains of Equestria! Muwhahaha!!!!" I yelled. This day would be... Hehehe... Perfect. March 5th, 1941. Third-Person POV. And so, the leaders of the Allies and the leaders of the Axis received a letter from Princess Celestia. Dear World Leaders, After yesterday's meeting, I consulted with Twilight Sparkle... And so I've decided that my country will fight alongside the Axis Powers. Signed: Princess Celestia. The Axis powers cheered at this. While tge Allies, except for Stalin, were shocked. This meant one thing for the Allies... Equestria was now an enemy and any and all peace talks with Equestria were off. Canterlot Royal Castle, Princess Luna POV. How could she have been so foolish?! While Stalin appeared to be King Sombra in Human form, the other Allies, namingly Roosevelt, were so friendly. And they did have a point. "Dearest sister, are you sure this is a wise course of action?" I asked. I wasn't just referring to her rash decision, but also her decree that all ponies, 18 years of age and older, were to report for military training in Canterlot. "Yes, Luna, I am sure." Celestia responded. I didn't say anything... All I knew was that if I couldn't find a way to convince her to leave the Axis and join the Allies, Equestria would be doomed. Third-person POV. And so began Equestria's involvement in the Second World War. Plans were laid out, and the Axis planned to invade the Soviet Union... The most ruthless country, even more so than the Third German Reich, that Hitler had a pact with. The ponies who joined the army were in for a horrific and bloody surprise. Author's Note And done! This is the 3rd and last part of War-Dawn! Now I can get to work on the second, or third if you count this three-parter, chapter. Operation:Torch/Charge of Luna's Brigade.December 8th, 1941. Third Person Pov. "Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 -- a date which will live in infamy -- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan." President Roosevelt said in response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The attack prompted the US to enter the war on the Allied side. Making them the third country this year to join the Allies. The first was the Soviet Union, and the second was Equestria. November 8th, 1942, Operation Torch. Private Allen POV. Today, my unit and I were deployed to North Africa. While we were fighting alongside the British, we were also joined by, and I'm not joking, a military unit from Equestria! This unit, calling themselves Luna's Brigade, were going to be helping us kick the Krauts out of North Africa. After a beach landing, my unit ended up sharing a Half-track with a few members of Luna's Brigade. They were very kind, I even shared some of my rations with one of them. They really made my day. From what I learned from them, Princess Luna had made a deal with our President that their involvement was to be a secret until we've won this campaign. From the way things are going so far, we'll liberate North Africa in no time! Private Lily Hoof POV. I was in this vehicle called a half-track with the rest of my unit. The driver was shot by enemy snipers causing everyone to get out and take positions in the open. I ended up fighting alongside Private Allen. A real sweetheart. I was nervous and couldn't seem to keep my magic steady. Allen grabbed my rifle with his hand and held the scope towards my eye so I could aim better. I shot several enemies. The battle was over and we had to set up camp. I shared a tent with Allen. "Thanks for the help back there." I said as I lyed down next to him. "Hey, no problem." He replied. We didn't talk much, mainly because he was tired and I wanted to let him sleep. Battle of Kasserine Pass. Charge of Luna's Brigade. Third Person POV. In February of 1943, the Allies attempted to take Kasserine Pass from the North Afrika Korps. The result was a bloodbath and a tactical Axis victory. The battle also saw what would become known as "The charge of Luna's Brigade." Where the remaining members of Luna's Brigade charged the the enemy lines. The charge, while not victorious, resulted in Equestria's involvement in the war alongside the Allies going public. While a large portion of the Brigade were killed in the charge, some managed to flee while others were captured, and later released back to the Allies, by the North Afrika Korps under orders from Fieldmarshal Erwin Rommel. This is what happened. Seeing that there was no way to achieve victory, Commander Hoofburg decided to lead a charge to buy the Americans time to escape. He gathered up all the remaining members of Luna's Brigade and began the charge. They were shot at with everything the Axis had. Blood, guts, body parts, and bodies piled up all around them as they charged. They managed to breach the first few lines of defense only to be driven back by a panzer division. While most of the survivors made it out, some were taken prisoners under the orders of Erwin Rommel. After the charge, the Allies used it as an example of Allied ingenuity. Letting the whole world know that Equestria was officially an Allied nation. Princess Celestia POV. "Equestria joins the Allied cause! During the battle of North Africa, soldiers of Equestria's military force fought alongside our boys against the Axis powers. Officially making them an Allied nation! As many of you already know, Equestria is a country that appeared two years ago. And up until now, no one knew who they'd join... Looks like Princess Celestia made the right decision." The radio said. I couldn't believe what I just heard... My ponies fighting for the Allies when I said we joined the Axis? And what did the Radio mean by "Up until now, no one knew who'd they join."? It didn't take me long to figure out who was responsible for this... My own sister. "Luna, care to explain why you disobeyed my decree and sent soldiers to fight alongside the Allies?" I asked her. "Because, dear sister, your choice was the wrong choice! The Axis were just using us! Remember what that German soldier told us? How his commanding officer promised OUR ponies reinforcements that never came, and EXECUTED the survivors just because they had been tortured!" Luna yelled. "Your decision coast the lives of three battalions! Whereas MY decision saw a larger amount of survivors!" Luna added. "Enough! You're right..." I said. "What?" Luna asked. "You're right. I don't know why I joined the Axis in the first place... Nor why Twilight agreed that it was the wisest choice..." I answered. "I guess- wait... Where is Twilight?" Luna asked. "Now that you mention it... I think I saw her leave the castle after the radio announcement ended." I explained. What could Twilight be up to? Canterlot, "Twilight Sparkle" POV. "I should have seen this coming..." I said in regards to the news of Equestria joining the Allies. "Oh well... Looks like I'll have to pay Heinrich Himmler a visit. But first, to get out of this disguise." I said as I changed into my true form. I, Queen Chrysalis, was not about to let my revenge plan be hindered by Celestia's soft heart... Hopefully, Himmler isn't as big of an idiot as Hitler is... Himmler's Office. Heinrich Himmler POV. I sat in my office going over the latest reports, when I heard a voice call out to me from the darkness. "Heinrich..." The voice said. "Who's there?!" I demanded. Out of the darkness came what looked like a unicorn crossed with a bug... I wasn't scared but I was curious. "I am Queen Chrysalis. I want to make a deal with you... One that only a fool would pass up on..." She said. "What deal?" I asked. "I know what you want... Power, unlimited power. What I want however... Is revenge! Together, we can accomplish our goals."
