It was a beautiful new day in the Crystal Empire. The sun was shining brightly, turning the city of crystal-hewn buildings into a mesmerising sea of glittering crests and colourful dives, all centred around the shining spires of the extravagant Crystal Palace, which watched over the land with a stern yet elegant gaze, offering the citizens of the empire protection from the bitter elements without.
The sun had risen above the distant snow horizon barely an hour ago, and Princess Cadance and her devoted husband stood by the large throne room windows admiring their domain. To think, only a few years prior, the whole Empire had been a withered, joyless shell, barely cowering in the face of the arctic ravages, and yet now it had been restored, and had simply boomed! Hundreds of tourists arrived by train, adding to the dawning bustle in the streets, and making it feel ever more like a full city once more.
“Dear, when do you think the first ponies will arrive?” Shining asked, his nose twitching as he caught scent of the palace kitchens firing their ovens. Why his wife made him watch the sun rise over the Crystal Empire every morning, he had no idea. It was always the same, unless Sombra, or Tirek, or Chrysalis, or some other horrible entity had arisen from the depths and was laying waste to Equestria again, in which case she’d head out early to deal with it and he’d hide in the closet. The sun was, he had to admit, kinda boring, and a bit painful if he looked at it too long. It also seemed to make him sneeze.
“When they are ready, Shining.” She said, somewhat curtly. She shuddered and tossed her third can of Blue Pegasus to the floor with a clank, cracking open another before it had even stopped moving. “Oooh~,” She shuddered as she took a heart sip of the intensely caffeinated drink, “Why are these things soooo good?” As she chugged her fourth and reached for another, her shoulders visibly relaxed, and she blinked away the haze of grogginess. “Okay, let’s face the day!” She suddenly shouted and trotted off happily towards her courtroom. “Shiny, come find me once you’ve stopped drooling and whining over the smell of pancakes.” She called, before she whipped around the corner.
“Huh?” Shining Armour grunted, temporarily snapped out of his breakfast-related musings. “Ooh! Pancakes!” He had hardly managed to turn the corner before a titanic THUMP! Echoed through the room, making him squeal in surprise like a little filly.
He glanced to the window. A flattened blue Pegasus lay plastered to the thin sheet of sturdy transparent crystal, clearly quite injured, but also, thankfully, unconscious. That meant he had plenty of time to get breakfast before he had to deal with - he glanced at the flattened pony’s crotch - her. He was pretty sure, at least.
The dining hall was empty, save for a few staff finishing their breakfasts as Shining wandered in. A servant jumped up to his side in an instant, passing him a glass of juice and guiding him to a table- hidden in the corner by the kitchen doors and quite a long way away from the gold-trimmed banquet table that Cadance was always seated at. The chairs, he noticed, were small and plastic. Which was way better than those horrible crystal ones that made him sit funny and hurt his rump a bit.
The server pony set out a blunt knife and fork and placed a pair of menus on the table and sighed. “Would Sir like the full menu today, or-“
“Pancakes.” Came the reply instantly.
“Very good, Sir.” He disappeared into the kitchen and returned almost instantly, hefting a huge pile of fresh pancakes, thickly covered in a strange mixture of chocolate syrup, sugar, and a small rainbow of sweets. He pointed towards a small amount of fruit on top, “Princess Cadance has ordered us to add some nutrition to your daily diet, Sir. She said you weren’t to be trusted to do it yourself.”
“How thoughtful of her!” Shining smiled, pausing momentarily to remove the fruit, because fruit was icky, as were vegetables, fish, and those other so-called ‘healthy’ things dear Caddy made him eat. He was a big pony now, he didn’t need any such input. He got plenty of protein from the barracks initiations, and that was all he needed to be big and strong, like they all said. Even Cadance agreed with that, and frequently asked him to go get more.
The servant had barely had a chance to duck away before a spray of chocolatey mess exploded from the table as Shining smashed his face straight in, disregarding the cutlery.
“Shiiiiiiiii-“ A distant cry echoed briefly around the room, sending a few ears twitching. Shining did not notice, his ears, and most of his face, completely smothered in saucy pancake goop.
“-iiiiiiiiiiiiiii-“ The cry continued, getting slowly louder. Now the other ponies were looking around, a little perturbed by the sound.
“-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!” The cry ended abruptly, followed by a thundering SLAM! And the water-crashing sound of crystal glass shattering. A cascade of glittering, lethal shards fell from the high ceiling, pouring onto the floor in a strangely-beautiful deluge.
The blue Pegasus from earlier flopped down, landing face-first on a table with a nasty cracking sound. The servants merely tutted and began laboriously sweeping up the fallen glass. It wasn’t uncommon for a pony or two to come careening through the roof in the mornings, especially when Cadance was in a bit of a mood and a pony asked the wrong thing during her court session.
Just as the staff were sweeping the glass and pony away, she jumped up with a shout, “Shining Armour!” She leapt up into the air and began scanning the room as she hovered on crooked wings. “Yoo-hoo! Shining?”
Shining Armour finished his breakfast and stood up. “Yes?” The Pegasus seemed familiar. She looked almost like that Rainbow Dash, Twilight’s friend, but her mane was lacking the ‘rainbow’ part- It seemed redder and more covered in glass. Maybe she was a copycat?
“Cadance sent me to find you. She said you’d be more ‘on my mental level’, whatever that means, and that you’d help me!” The Pegasus shook, spraying a rainbow of dusted glass everywhere, and dropped from the air, landing heavily on the table before him. She gestured to the mess she’d made and the less-than-pleased staff standing around. “Ehh, I think we should go somewhere else though. Looks like they’re trying to clean up.” Shining nodded in agreement. His masterful grasp on social cues let him sense they had outstayed their welcome.
The Prince and the Pegasus promptly left the dining hall, leaving a trail of chocolate and splatters of blood behind them.
A few minutes later, the two ponies found themselves in Shining’s Study, and managed to wedge themselves in amongst all of the scattered paperwork he didn’t really understand- who really knew what any of those numbers meant? As long as he didn’t know, he was fine. Cadance frequently remarked how Ignorance was Bliss, so it was probably a good thing.
“…So, yeah, that’s about it.” Rainbow Dash finished. He realised it probably was her, given the fact she was the only Pegasus known to equinity who could survive almost any crash and carry on straight afterwards, and after a quick, discrete brush, she did indeed have her trademark rainbow mane. She kicked a pile of paper over and lay back on it like a document-sofa. “Think you can help?”
Shining pondered it for a moment. Her request was simple enough, but he felt there was probably something he had missed, as he had spent almost the entire time she had been talking zoned out with his gaze locked on her rump. It was blue, athletic, sexy, and considerably closer and less likely to result in him getting magically shocked than Cadance’s.
“I need to…” He mumbled, trying desperately to think of something that could sound vaguely help-like. “Ahem. I’ll need to see the problem.” He smiled dumbly, quite proud at that- it almost sounded like something Cadance would say in court.
He wasn’t, however, quite ready for her to hop up on her desk and shove her ass in his face though. And he was fairly sure ponies didn’t do that often to Cadance. “In there. It feels…Empty? And weird.”
Despite the intense arousal assaulting his crotch, forcing him to shuffle awkwardly and place a subtle hoof down to hold back the beast, he thought he had better check. “A-And what exactly do you want me to do?”
“I dunno. Pinkie said hugs make everything feel better, but it’s the inside of my cooch that feels odd, y’know? And Twilight just blushed a bit and said something about ‘seeing to’. I tried to ask her more, but she sent me to Cadance.” She waggled her tail about alluringly, brushing his snout. “Sorry, my butt itches. Think there’s some glass in my tail still.”
Shining was not a clever pony- a fact that his wife reminded him of frequently. But that didn’t bother him. After all, there was only so much smart to go around, and his sister more than took her fair share.
He nudged her waiting marehood with a curious hoof. She hummed happily. This was almost entirely out of his grasp. It sounded awfully like she needed some sort of…internal hug.
“This might hurt a bit.” He said, pushing gently against her lips and earning a pleasured gasp.
“Oh, don’t worry about that.” She snorted, “You don’t do as many emergency landings as I do and keep that thing intact- Lost my virginity to Celestia’s horn after a crash landing in Canterlot.” She wiggled her hips and giggled, “It’s like stretchy taffy back there.”
He took a moment to appreciate the view and the scent of her growing arousal, before taking a deep breath and leaning forward. “You smell good…” He sighed.
“Nnng!” She huffed, shuffling in place, “Just hurry up and hug me already!”
How could he say no to a needy mare?
Summoning up all his strength, he dove forth, his hooves parting her pussy like wet, warm, pliable paper, earning him a throaty moan of mixed pleasure and surprise from the pegasus. Within the minute, he had stretched her open wide, affording him a clear view of the problem.
Amongst the rubble and wreckage of failed landings wedged deep within her vaginal cavern- and it was definitely a cavern, not a cavity- there lay an even stranger thing- a piece of paper taped to...what appeared to be a small plush of the hosting mare. How that had gotten lodged in the snatchy-expanse he had no idea, but then, he was fairly sure having a significant amount of detritus was hardly the standard either.
He pushed further in, until he was up to the shoulders in the warmth of her inner sanctums. Then he saw it- or rather, saw her. Rainbow Dash herself was standing there. This was no plush, but a living and breathing clone of the pony he was in, deep inside her cooch.
He had many questions, but, as he had learned quickly since having a scholarly mage for a sister and a love-obsessed princess for a wife, asking questions usually only netted him a even more confusing answer, so he simply turned off that bit of his brain. It helped that he didn’t know what he would be questioning. It was too confusing.
Stunned and painfully bewildered, he did the only thing he could think of; the last echoing thought he could actually remember- ‘Hugs.’
And so he reached forth, with one final, slightly squelchy push, and grabbed the somewhat-smaller Rainbow Dash and wrapped it in a tight hug. He nestled it tightly to his muscled, guardly bossom.
He had completed a job. Cadance would be proud, probably. He had done something she asked him to; handled one of her requests. If he was lucky, she might even reward him for it. Though that depending on how annoyed her court session had made her, of course.
And then a quake shook the cavern, throwing them apart and interrupting his victorious thoughts. The fleshy walls began to shudder and heave, making strange, vaguely sexy noises, and the floor rocked and juddered, becoming hot and moist.
“Oooooooh! Fuck, Shiny! Yes!” Came the distant muffled cry from without, and he began to quickly retreat, leaving the Rainbow Dash clone to fall into the darkness within the disturbed flight debris.
But he was stuck. Stuck fast. He tried to wriggle his head free, but her lips were grasping tight and immobilising him. It was then he noticed that the cavern appeared to be collapsing- pieces of masonry and strange fleshy things fell from the roof, landing painfully and grossly on his face. As his host’s whines got louder and the shaking grew worse, the slick floor began to give away, spiderweb cracks racing across the surface and up the walls. Chips and fragments began to sink away, revealing inky blackness.
He tried to call out to her, but she could not hear him.
He thrashed and struggled, but to little avail. And the darkness was quickly consuming more and more of the area. The weird collection of junk was beginning to fall into the increasingly-dominant void.
And then a bright light began to shine in the very centre of the cavern. Little more than a caffeinated firefly at first, but rapidly rising to a blinding glare that forced him to clench his eyes shut and cover them with a foreleg.
And then it all went white.
Shining Armour opened his eyes. All he could see was a sterile white plane, stretching as far as he could see- he tried to turn his head, but for some reason, his body felt incredibly heavy and stiff, and he relented, settling for his view of nothingness. At least the air was pleasantly cool and fresh around him.
His ears slowly tuned into a quiet hissing and rhythmic beeping. He recognised the sounds, but his mind was a little hazy and he failed to place them. It felt almost as if he was slightly drunk.
And then a familiar voice reached him.
“Oh, Shiny, dear! You’re awake at last.” There was no mistaking it. The irritable lilt, laced with thinly-veiled annoyance, tinged with heartfelt love, belonged to one pony only.
“Cadance…” He mumbled, his mouth feeling painfully dry and tasting strange. “What happened?”
And then another voice perked up, and a certain cyan pegasus’ face popped into view. “I can explain! I think.” She stood back a little and took a breath, before launching into her explanation. “Basically, I was in heat, and when that happens my special spot turns into an identical clone of me. Oh, and and hugging it caused my puss to turn into a blackhole and implode...Which you were trapped inside.”
Cadance slapped her and pushed her aside. “She came so hard that her vag disintegrated time and space and obliterated you and most of the Crystal Palace.” She sent a withering stare towards the cowering pegasus. “But luckily, as we’re technically outside of Equestria, Discord was allowed to delve into the void and retrieve your scattered essence. So you’re alive.”
“Oopsie.” Rainbow tittered, blushing lightly.
“Huh.” Shining Armour closed his eyes and stopped thinking, shutting out the growing sounds of the two mares’ bickering and drifted off to sleep. He’d done quite enough for today. And he could still vaguely taste a certain sexy pegasus on his lips.
