Logan and Luna were outside of Celestia's bed chambers and Luna had the smile of a filly. "Luna, I don't think it's a good idea to prank the pony that hates me the most," Logan said in an attempt to stop Luna.

"No way it'll be funny as hell," Luna giggled, she decided to use an old prank. She put a bucket of water over Celestia's door so that when opened fully it would fall on Celestia.

"It'll be funny up until the point she lasers me," Logan sighed knowing it would happen. He was about to make another attempt to stop Luna but he heard Celestia moving in her bed chambers. Logan sighed and looked away from Celestia's room, once she opened the door Luna would laugh and give away their position. Celestia would either laser him into the ceiling or down the hall to the open archway and again down the mountain.

Logan heard the door open and the splash of water. Luna held her laugh in which surprised Logan, usually a victory against a sibling ended with laughing and chasing. Celestia's mane stayed wet for a few seconds before the heat of it made the water evaporate. She held her anger in and walked away to do royal court duties.

"C'mon," Luna said, "I wanna show you something." Luna walked into Celestia's room and Logan followed her in. Luna walked over to a painting of the night sky.

"Why does Celestia have a picture of the night sky?" Logan asked.

"I don't know," Luna said, "but I do know there is something behind it, and you can't take it off the wall," Logan looked at the painting for something out of place. Blue star, white star, yellow star... pink star? Logan put his finger on an orange star.

"Does this represent... Applejack?" Logan said aloud, as soon as he said the name the star began to shine brightly. Luna looked at a yellow star and put her hoof over it.

"Fluttershy," Luna said, the star began to shine.

Logan put his hand over a pink star, "Pinkie Pie," Logan said and it began to shine.

Luna put her hoof on a white star, "Rarity," the star began to shine.

Logan put his hand on a cyan star, "Rainbow dash," the star began to shine.

Luna put her hoof on the next lavender star, "Twilight Sparkle,"

There were now six stars shining and all but one other star was gone, but nothing happened. Logan put his hand on the star, 'What did Twilight say she was studying... the magic of-' "Friendship," Logan said, the star began to shine. There was a click then the painting swung open and what Logan saw made him know what was coming next.

"EEEEEEHEEHEE TIA'S DIARY!" Luna squealed in a hushed whisper. She grabbed the diary in her magic and opened it to the first page. Which told about the first time Celestia used it a little over two thousand years ago. Luna flipped through pages every day Celestia wrote in her diary and just when Logan thought the pages were about to end more appeared.

Logan took the diary and flipped to the last page, 'Strange, the entries stopped two days ago the same day I got here' Logan read the last entry aloud, "Dear diary, the human is arriving tonight I know he's going to lead to another war unless I kill him immediately," Then the entries stopped. He looked through other entries.

Celestia's mother is Faust, but she and Luna called her Lauren. Celestia... Attempted suicide after banishing Luna to the Moon?! First royal guard was named Summer Rain, who she mentioned even when he had passed away. Logan handed the diary to Luna who started mumbling something as she flipped through pages.

"I knew it!" Luna said, "She does have a crush on Anvil!"

"Something's not right, Luna," Logan said, "Celestia wrote in her diary every day and now she just stops. Something strange."

"And Tia would never walk away from being pranked with out tickling me." Luna added. They looked at each other and both knew they had to see Celestia. Luna led the way to the royal court, but Celestia wasn't there. They headed toward the library maybe she was reading.

Logan drew electricity to his hands experimentally. It was odd he could feel force when he brought enough electricity to the surface. Logan jumped and pointed his hands down, the electricity slowed his decent. 'Bring more to my hands and I might be able to fly,' he thought to himself. He tried but it didn't work, 'I need a force over a larger area,' he thought. Before he could try anything they arrived at the library, but didn't see Celestia. Logan was about to turn away when he heard the sound of books and papers hitting the ground and Celestia cursing.

Luna walked into a section that said private causing Logan to stop outside the section, but Luna waved a hoof for him to come with her. She stopped and looked around to make sure no pony was watching. "Things aren't right and I know I won't be able to get Tia to talk but she would always talk with our father," Luna said.

"Too bad he's not here," Logan replied.

"That's why I need you," Luna said and Logan raised an eyebrow, "I'm going to turn you into a pony temporarily," Luna's horn glowed and a second later Logan lost his balance. He got up and looked at himself in window, his entire body was like the galaxy stars everywhere even on his coat and wings.

"How do I look?" Logan asked his voice still the same.

"Make your voice calmer more father like," Luna said.

Logan spoke in his more less excited voice deeper and calmer just like when he did the hypnosis videos, "How does this sound my lovely daughter?"

Luna embraced him in a hug, "Ohhh, you sound just like him, now let's see if it fools Tia." Luna walk around the corner to Celestia, "Tia look who's here,"

Logan walked out into view but there was no reaction on her face. "Good morning my child," Logan said.

"Father?" Celestia asked, Logan nodded, "How have you been, why did you come without telling me?" Luna's expression showed that this was not what Celestia usually did.

"Never mind that," Logan said, "I just wanted to check up on you, and remember old times. Do you remember the name of the first guard that served you?"

"That was way too long ago to remember," Celestia said.

"You still have that crush?" Logan said laughing.

"Oh um... no... well... his name," Celestia was stuttering.

"Anvil?" Logan asked trying to move her along.

"Yes the royal captain," Celestia said yet another question incorrect.

"Do you remember you're mother?" Logan asked.

"Faust? Yeah I-" Celestia was cut off by Luna.

"WE ALWAYS CALLED HER LAUREN! YOU'RE NOT CELESTIA!" Luna screamed.

Celestia let out a laugh that didn't sound like her and a ring of green fire enveloped her. Out of the flames came a black pony with green hair, insect like wings, and what disgusted Logan the most were the holes in her, "No point to stay under cover, guards," she said this and two ponies that were similar to her rushed in.

"I'm guessing she's not on our side," Logan said.

"No," Luna confirmed, "She's Chrysalis, Queen of the changelings,"

"Should I take care of her?" Logan asked.

"No, I'll deal with her," Luna reassured.

"Great, more for me," Logan said.

"Ha! A human like you could never-" Chrysalis was cut of by the sound of splintering wood.

Logan had picked up a small stool and hit a changeling in the side of the head knocking it out. Logan looked at the other changeling who was just about to run but Logan delivered a series of punches to the changelings head, eventually knocking it out as well. His knuckles hurt from this a bit but he didn't complain. "What else you got?" Logan asked.

"How about an army?" Chrysalis replied. Logan new he wouldn't be able to defeat all of them but he could make a dent in the numbers.

"You going to deal with her?" Logan asked Luna who in response shot Chrysalis out the window with a beam of magic starting the fight. Logan ran out the library and through the castle until he got to the gates to see just what Chrysalis told him an army. Most of them were running around the city, a couple of them were keeping watch outside the city and last few were right in front of Logan with their horns glowing. Before Logan put up his electric shield he estimated how many changelings he would have to deal with. There were about fifty, but remembering how easy it was to take down the other two he face these shouldn't be a problem.

Logan put up a light electric shield and the fifty changelings fired, some beams missed, most hit. The beam was only a short shot but it was too much for his light electric shield and it broke sending Logan flying back into the castle. He hit the weak brick walls and made an indent. Logan didn't break any bones but he was sore. "Note to self," Logan grunted, "Just like the Government, never underestimate the power of stupid individuals in large groups,"

Logan made his way out of the indent and began charging electricity as he caught his breath. Royal guards rushed past him and began to fight the changelings. Each guard seemed to have either a sword or spear, and were very skilled with it. Logan joined the fight and shot the charge he had been holding that jumped between many changelings who all fell to the ground dead.

From the fifty changelings only twenty three remained; most had been killed by the guards but Logan counted at least seventeen of them he killed. "Take a break," Logan said to the guards, "I need to absorb some electricity." He ran at one of the changelings and used his momentum to deliver a kick to its leg. The changeling fell over with its leg bent at an odd angle and looked up at Logan.

Logan knew that a persons body could hold electricity so he grabbed the changeling's face and dug his fingers in accidentally crushing one of its eyes with his thumb. It screamed in pain for a few seconds before Logan decided to end the Changelings misery. He found all the electricity he could and drew it out of the changeling's body and was enough to fill him back up. The changeling's body when limp and the life faded from its lone eye, he let go of the changeling and blood started gushing from its eye that he had crushed.

There were six changelings left and most the guards, after defeating a few more, left to clear out the city. Logan didn't want to have to make a decision when a changeling was coming at him so he attacked first. He shot a bolt of electricity at one changeling making it flinch, he finished the job with an electrified kick to its jaw. Logan heard one coming at him from behind, he spun around only to take a head to the stomach. The changeling charged into Logan and kept going, Logan brought some electricity to his hand and slapped the changeling on the back.

The slap made the changeling stop and Logan kept going for another ten feet before landing, the fall had knocked the wind out of him so he tried to crawl away to no avail *Beewooom* the electric charge on the changeling exploded send chunks of the it everywhere. Logan was blew even further back by the close range explosion, he slowly got to his feet as three guards killed the last four changelings. A unicorn guard walked up to him to see if Logan was okay.

"What was that?" the guard asked.

"A electric explosion that can be placed," Logan said, "I think I'll call it E4,"

"You need a weapon," the guard said, "fists and feet are not going to work as well as a spear." Logan knew he was right up against a changeling with a sword he would be toast.

"There's a problem," Logan said, "do you see any spare weapons that you guards aren't using,"

"I've got something for you," the guard said and his horn began to glow.
