Can't Fly Away Forever

Rainbow Dash flew faster and faster. She crossed the finish line just before him. "You beat me once again!" Soarin exclaimed taking in several deep breaths. "Yeah but you know I think you're the best in the Wonderbolts."

"Rainbow!"

"What!?"

"You look down on yourself!"

"What!? No way! I'm just the best in Ponyville."

"Well I think you are way more than that."

"Aw! Stop it! You're making me blush!"

"I think it's cute when you blush!"

"Come on, let's go to SugerCube Corner."

"I am good with that!"

The two headed to SugerCube Corner and talked all the way. "Hey Pinkie!" Rainbow said once she and Soarin got iniside. "Hey guys!" Said several voices. Then she saw in a booth, all her friends. "So what can I do for you two?" Pinkie said exitedly. "I think two sodas and a pie to go." Rainbow said. "Come sit over here!" Twilight said. The two agreed and sat down in the booth. "Come on how long have you two been dating?" Rarity said almost jumping out of her seat. "Rarity! Keep it down we don't want paparazzi swarming us!" Rainbow said covering her mouth. "1 year." Soarin said answering her question.

"I think y'all are adorable!" AppleJack said drinking her soda. Rainbow and Soarin both blushed. They got their soda's and started to drink. "Okay guys so I think you guys are the only one who doesn't know this." Twilight started. "Huh?" They both said. Fluttershy raised her head. "I'm due with a foal." She said shyly. "AWW! Good for you Flutter." "Yeah congrats!"

Pinkie set their pie down on the table. Soarin reached for it and Rainbow pulled it away.

"NO not til we get home! Spitfire and Rapidfire will want some too!"

Rainbow paid Pinkie and then they had to leave.

Once they got home Soarin was pretty much on his knees begging for some pie. "Okay okay! SPITFIRE RAPIDFIRE WE ARE HOME WITH PIE!!!" And so they came down and they all had pie. "I am certain it was a great idea to put Rainbow Dash in." Spitfire said. "Yeah! Earlier she beat me at a race!" "Wow that's hard to beat!"

"Thanks guys. I really feel welcomed."

"No problem Dashie!"

"Soarin!"

"What?"

"Look down."

He looked down to see pie almost all down his Wonderbolt uniform. "I'll go wash it." Spitfire said. Soarin took off his uniform and tossed it to Spitfire. Spitfire finally left the room and that's when Rapidfire got another crazy idea. "You guys want to prank Spitfire?" They both nod. "Okay we all pretend to fall. Then lose our memory of her! Isn't it great?" Rainbow and Soarin walk upstairs trying to forget what he just said.

"Guys?"

"Nope lamest trick ever." Rainbow said.

"What?"

"Yep she said it."

"AWW Dangit!"

And the pair went into their room and went to bed.

The next morning Rainbow woke up to Soarin's soft coat. She cuddled closer to him. He wasn't awake but she decided not to wake him up. Then he yawned and decided to get up. She got changed into a short dress. Today was the day she and Soarin announced they were dating. She woke him up and he got dressed into what he wore for the royal wedding. Thay hurried off into Ponyville and people noticed they were walking together. They soon after that were asked questions and announced they were dating. Fans were shocked and didn't like the sound of them dating. So depressed Rainbow went to Rarity's. Even though sometimes she was a pain, she could listen well.

"And it was just horrible! People hate me!" She cried.

"Aw there there Rainbow Dash things will get better!"

"What if he ditches me and kicks me out because of them!?"

"That won't happen dear. He loves you too much."

Rainbow continued to cry in her hooves. "I'm gonna go to AJ's I need to talk to her." She told Rarity.

"Good luck with Soarin!" She cried as Rainbow galloped towards AJ's. She knocked on the front door. "I GOT IT!" She heard AppleBloom shout. She opened the door where the 3 CMC's were standing. "Rainbow what's wrong?" Scootaloo asked noticing her red, puffy eyes. "Look is AppleJack here?"

"Yeah she is. APPLEJACK RAINBOW DASH IS HERE!! Now tell us what's wrong."

"Hey there Rainbow how y'all- Oh sweet pie come here." AppleJack sai as it looked like Rainbow was about to burst.

"What's a matter with her AppleJack?"

"Nothing y'all will learn 'bout it when  y'all are older." And she took her into her room upstairs.

"What happened?"

"Everyone hates me because we annouced we have been dating!" She said bursting. "Aw! They don't hate you! They're jealous! You love him and that's all."

"APPLEJACK SOARIN'S HERE!!"

The two went downstairs and Rainbow hugged Soarin. "I have been looking for you everwhere!"

"Sorry I made you worried. Bye AppleJack!"

"Okay bye!"

Soarin and her walked out the door. "Why did you run off?"

"Because all our fans hate me now."

"No they don't!"

"Yeah they do. Just because I'm dating you."

"Are you saying we should-?"

"No no! I love you so much and I'm serious about it. I just wish our fans would understand."

"Well all that matters is us okay?"

"Okay." She smiled and they walked home.
