Years after the initial closing of Pinkie Pie's Pizzeria, manager Pinkie Pie rebrands the restaurant, scraps the old robots, and makes way for the 'big guns'. The murders are seemingly forgotten... The star animatronic of Pinkie's New and Improved Pizzeria is a self aware robot crocodilian who has been designed to process emotion. His primary function is teaching foals respect through 'healthy fear'.

On her birthday, Sweetie Belle is asked where she would like to go for a party. Her response is Pinkie Pie's Pizzeria, as she has grown attached to the big green crocodile mascot, Mister Snappy. The pair are nearly inseparable when together. But when Snappy saves her from the evil entity known as NightMare, things go from good to bad in a matter of minutes... With NightMare having infused her spirit with an animatronic, Snappy mutates into a nightmarish parody of himself, seeking to slaughter any who cross his line of view.
