Spike has lately been... upset, to say the least. His 18th birthday was a little under a month away and he had done almost nothing in his life. While all those around him had already started their lives as adults, in one way or another, while he was stagnating. He had tried several jobs in the past but they each failed spectacularly.

Soon a school had sent him a job offer, quite the prestigious university: Equestria United. He had no Idea why a school like that would even hire him, as he hadn't had his teaching certificate for long. Heck he wouldn't even have the certificate period if his mother didn't force him into it.

What he didn't know was that the school had been waiting to hire him for some time.
