//-------------------------------------------------------// Olympians -by Chernavader- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Introductions //-------------------------------------------------------// Introductions The two princesses were enjoying the view of those marvelous architectures and paintings on the wall through the hallway, going on their way to the throne room known as the council room. One thing that pegged Luna to be curious about what race those gods are. It's just she never seen them before, they're like tall creatures bearing a tiny resemblance to apes. But they are nothing like them, for they are quite dazzling in her eyes. Looking to her sister, questioned our motives with a expression 'shall we?'. Earning an affirmative nod from the solar goddess, she pressed the door opened with grace. Entering the council room of the gods, looked shocked at their forms when she got close to them in the middle with Celestia. "By the stars..." Luna marvelled at such height, for she is 7 feet tall and her sister is 8.3 foot tall. The Olympians were 10 feet taller, But with a bit more mass dwarves them. "Greetings, Goddesses of your territory. Forgive this intrusion into your land, But we are ripped from our homes by the rift." Zeus greeted politely, sitting up with a sagely yet firm look adorning to his face with a smile. "I am Zeus, King of the gods. God of storms, justice, order." Celestia returned the gesture with a bright grin, stepping up: "I have come with a warm welcome, Zeus, for your family here. I am Celestia, princess of Equestria and goddess of the sun. This is my younger sister, Luna, second ruler and goddess of the moon." Apollo smirked with mutuality, having in common with celestial duties and wants to get to know her by any over-friendly means. However, Artemis shows respect within her gaze at the lunar princess, in hope to associate with her someday at night. "You two have shown similar titles with the twins, Apollo and Artemis. At that time, I'm sure you don't mind to mingle with each other in the future. Apart from that, I am Athena. Goddess of wisdom, battle strategy and crafts." The wise goddess introduced. "Perhaps you won't hold a thought about keeping me from learning about your place, this blockhead over there next to uncle Poseidon always charging head on against the army that don't quite know about us." Ares gives her a middle finger, growling in annoyance and scowl on his face. "Ha ha ha, I love you too brother." She remarked smugly. Rolling in her baby blue eyes, Hera stood and walks over to the princesses. "You two came all this way out of your concerns if our presence is the danger to your people." She said, smiling kindly to them. "Come, you must be hungry and your wings are sore." Celestia thought about this offer, then she nodded. "A meal sounds wonderful. That way, we'll talk about how you all do in your future actions in this land." "That seems agreeable, but that is up to the king. After all, Olympus is our territory. This negotiation will be at least be peaceful than our last encounters with the Asgardians." Athena said. The gods rises from their thrones and guides the Equestrian goddesses to the dining area. Ambrosia and wine served in front of the Olympians, except for water for the royalties. Celestia tried some of this substance squared into shape, known as Ambrosia, Food of the gods. The texture tasted like honey and chocolate, The consistency was so good this rivaled the element of laughter's bakery dishes. As for nectar, Luna greedily chugging down on that large mug while shocking Aphrodite and Athena. Even Artemis looked impressed. "Someone's enjoying that beverage for a change..." said the goddess of the hunt. Ares just laughed his ass off at this display, clapping his hands in joy for Luna. "This woman is crazy, I love her already!" The war god Quipped. The solar princess sighed and pinched the bridges of her nose. "I am sorry for her behaviour. She got out of therapy for her drinking problems when she was 16." She said apologetically. "It is fine, Celestia of the sun. Hermes was of no exception." Zeus replied, a knowing smirk directed at the god of speed and Dionysus. "Psh, he asked for a stress relief pops." Says the god of wine and madness. "Did you make this nectar.. Dionysus?" Celestia asked, making sure if her memory skill is worthy. "Aye, I can make just about anything that stirs the craziness within. In a good sense." He chuckled, sipping his wine. "But I'll have to try out this hard cider. That might be on my liquor list." "Son..." Zeus warned, his tone reminding him of an scandal. "At least I got better, Zeus!" Dionysus said, shooting him a snarky yet playful look. This family is intriguing, bantering and arguing in a consensus what family should show like making bittersweet memories. Too bad Celestia didn't have any relatives other than her parents, for they know no boundaries around being merry and actually express how far they're willing to make anything meaningful and joyous times. Those were really good, She felt like this mountain was her second home. Didn't have a clue what possessed her to think like that, these Olympians are fun to be around. Apollo might be my first godly friend, so he can show her how to move a sun. Flattered of his attempts to woo the princess, even though he made her feel like jelly at the beautiful voice of the musical god. Luna was having quite a time with this fire god Hephaestus next to her, crafting anything she could think off. Aphrodite giggled at him for having a redder blush after being suggested to make a large metal dildo, Even though the lunar princess was just joking due to her drunkenness influencing her mind. Earned a smacked upon her head by the older sister, out cold. "I think you've had enough beverages for one night, young lady." She said sternly. Looking at the gods with a friendly smiles, "So, why not tell your tales for us? I'm interested in how you gods originated from and rise to power, if not too much for other stories regarding all of you part of it." "Ooh, I love story time." Hermes said, smiling in excitement and followed his fellow Olympians at Zeus with their gaze. Smiled, as if he's honored. The god of thunder snaps his finger to refill his cup, Ganymede, bearer for Zeus, with wine. "For future caution of us?" Zeus asked. "No, to get to know about you all. I won't bring out the misery that long afflicted you and lay it on my lands." She said, her kindness showing for the gods out of respect for their past, but conviction burns within her. "Very well, I shall yet again tell my tale of how I founded Olympus after the long, harsh war...titanomatchy. Clash of the titans. Before that, let me convene the beginning from the start." He said, clapped his hand to kill the flames from the torch to induce the darkness in this room. Author's Note After the princesses disembarked in the council of the gods, they acknowledged names from their thrones and those who don't: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Hermes, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Leto, Pan, Dionysus, Hades, Persephone, Demeter, Hestia, Chiron (not included to Olympus), Heracles (Hercules), sisters of fate, Hekate, Eris, and Metis (former queen of Zeus and forever in his mind). All of these gods will take parts in their stories as well as others to join in order of how this plays out. I hope you enjoyed this. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter one: Zeus //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter one: Zeus https://camo.derpicdn.net/e0301de0fa3dd0aa0d8e32a9f57814a82b040ef3?url=http%3A%2F%2F2.bp.blogspot.com%2F-zgpb2lTvbEY%2FVCxJCmx1mYI%2FAAAAAAAACd4%2FVjF_OybA-2k%2Fs1600%2Fzeuscovercolornewtype.jpg In the time before time, there was nothing, Chaos. A gloomy, misty primordial of creation with all the matter in the cosmos just drifting around. https://camo.derpicdn.net/7412d765deb5dda0a2f49c95ef31e88ab0286e9f?url=https%3A%2F%2Fvignette.wikia.nocookie.net%2Folympians%2Fimages%2F8%2F8f%2FChaos.png%2Frevision%2Flatest%3Fcb%3D20150309115332 From out of Chaos came Ge or Gaea, our Mother Earth. Alone in the cosmos, roaming across her body in the shape of a matronly woman with a flowing green dress, Curly black hair, and a serene smile on her face. After a long time Alone, Gaea looked up into the cosmic mist of nothing above the earth and desired companionship, and so she created the sky with with her will, Ouranos. Like Gaea, Ouranos could take human shape and visit the earth. Which was good, because the sky is way up there and long-distance relationships never work out. In physical form, He is tall, buff figure with long darkish hair. Mother Earth was pleased with the beauty of the sky and eager to end her loneliness, Gaea took him as her husband. Ouranos was dark and handsome, set with a thousand glittering jewels that sparkled and shone as he surrounded Young Gaea. Wife and husband, Gaea and Ouranos, Earth and Sky, together. Alone, in the nothing. Happily ever After? Not exactly. This was not to last. With the creation of Ouranos, there was change, and with the beginning of change, time. And in time, Gaea became pregnant. The first children of earth and sky were the gods of time. They were ageless and beautiful and so tall that their heads scraped the sky and mother earth made the mountains their thrones. They were the Titans. But they were not only the children of Gaea and Ouranos. There were the three Cyclops, enormous and powerful as storms, each possessed of one glowing eyes. And the three hekatonchieres, each of them with fifty heads and one hundred hands. Vain Ouranos looked down upon his monstrous children and was filled with disgust. He cast them into the deepest chasms, called Tartarus, whom is the primordial of the deep with his brother Erebus of the dark, and shut them away. Hidden from sight. But mother earth loved all of her children. She wanted all of them free. She fashioned a sickle of sharpest adamantine. She asked her eldest children, The titans, to us it against Ouranos, their father. "One of you needs to step up!" Gaea cried. "Your father isn't worthy to be the king of the cosmos. One of you will kill him and take his place." The titans looked unbearably uncomfortable. "She wants us to exterminate our dad." Themis said, answering unspoken questions for her siblings. "Is that even possible?" Asked her sister Rhea. "I thought we were all immortal." Gaea snarled in frustration. "Don't be cowards! It's very simple. You take this sharp pointy adamantine sickle and you cut your dad wide open so he can't bother us again. Whichever of you does this and will be the ruler of the universe!" The titans were uncertain, afraid of what the consequences might be if made a mistake trying to slice their father. Until a titan, youngest of the group, stepped up from the back. "I'll do it!" Kronos declared. Shares a plan with his brothers and sisters, much to Gaea's joy. She bestowed him an sickle to butcher the sky. Ouranos was held tight by Iapetus in the West. Polos in the North. Krios in the South. And by Hyperion in the East. Alone among the titan sons, Oceanus took no part in the plot, and retired to the waters that encircle the globe. The youngest of the titans, filled with ambition and courage to grasp the sickle in his hand his mother had made. And with it, He cut open the sky. Ouranos was wounded and rendered impotent. His powers seeped away into his sons. The blood of the sky spilled over the earth. Wherever drops touched Gaea, new life arose. From these drops were born the fearsome gigantes, https://camo.derpicdn.net/e8fab215f7f517893dc5eea77ea9177f16c633fe?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ancientgreecereloaded.com%2Ffiles%2Fancient_greece_reloaded_website%2Fimages%2Fpictures%2Fgiants%2Fgiants_main.jpg The lovely nymphs, spirits of the wild, https://camo.derpicdn.net/d09c78ab80dea35276fd66f50ce2591aaa8c6d1f?url=https%3A%2F%2Fimg00.deviantart.net%2F15d1%2Fi%2F2012%2F297%2F1%2F4%2F_more__greek_nymphs_by_arbetta-d5isw8l.jpg And the three strange ladies known sometimes as the Fates, other times as the Furies. https://camo.derpicdn.net/146db9392075d10db64a1b31e1b98d07abef284f?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpre13.deviantart.net%2Fabd0%2Fth%2Fpre%2Fi%2F2013%2F212%2Fb%2Fb%2Fmoirai__the_fates__by_freeda_meteora-d6g3gts.jpg https://camo.derpicdn.net/77b01e3ffba5f27d8f6d1c14ff3b3397350c2f8a?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.greek-mythology-pantheon.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2FMythical_Creatures%2FFuries_Erinyes%2FFuries_Erinyes_Mythical_Creature_Art_06_by_GenzoMan.jpg Some of the essence of Ouranos flowed to the sea, where it created a bright pink froth. What came from that is a tale for another day. Mother Earth teemed with new life, all manner of new creatures. The titans, as the gods of time, took a particular interest in some of the new creatures. The titans gave them the knowledge of seasons, of how to mark the movements of the heavens, of the reckoning of time. They also gave them knowledge of their own mortality. If it bothered the humans to know their finite lifespans, they gave little sign. For life was good and easy for them then, and Gaea gave them all that they could need. Deep in Tartarus, the titans kept their hideous brother's imprisoned in the dark. They were far too powerful, and the titans needed no rivals. And still mother earth was unhappy. Kronos was now the Lord of the universe. He took his sister, the titaness Rhea, as his queen and he ruled from on high. But there was too much of his father in him. When he failed to free his brothers, Gaea cursed him. "As You have overthrown your father, so shall your child overthrow you!" Mother Earth bellowed from the crack of her crust. Kronos had no desire to surrender his throne. In time, When Rhea gave birth to their daughter, Hestia, the Lord of the universe took his first born child in his arm... And devoured her whole. He did this with each of his five children. While she was heavy with her sixth child, Rhea lay down against her mother's breast. Gaea consoled her heartbroken daughter. "Can you hear me, my daughter?" She said in her motherly soft tone to the titaness. "I, too, know the pain you feel. I too have had my children locked away in the dark. Crafty Kronos may think he has won, but even he cannot escape his fate..." When Rhea Gave birth to her sixth child, a switch was made. A crude stone likeness was formed, and wrapped in swaddling clothes. If Lord Kronos noticed his newborn son had less warmth than the rest, he gave no sign. Secure in his rule, The all-devouring titan looked upon his kingdom and smiled. For he could not know that... Many miles away, on island of Crete, his cries drowned out by the wailing of nymphs and the clanging of shields, and nursed on sweet nectar and ambrosia from the horns of the goat Amalthea. Deep in the dark, Zeus, the youngest son of Kronos, Lord of the universe, was staring out of the mouth of his cave... At the bright day. Time passed, and in time came more changes. The children of the titans began to fill the world. Some took after their grandparents, Earth and Sky. Selene, the moon. Eos, the rosy-fingered dawn. And Helios, the sun, we're among them. Others matched their parents in height, strength, and form: Menoitios, Astraios, and mighty Atlas. Still others such as Prometheus and his brother, Epimetheus, lived among the humans, and attempted to enrich their brief lives. The oceanides, daughters of Oceanus and Tethys, were human in size, but far more beautiful and wise.https://camo.derpicdn.net/67ed4e20e3b1faa85aebeca4ae68ba25abb4136b?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.pinimg.com%2Foriginals%2Fed%2Fc8%2Ffa%2Fedc8fafbdf8b76d908a8ccfe0e15d77b.jpg They spread out from their father's waters to rivers of the earth. And then there was Zeus. Full grown to adulthood, with much confidence to leave his cave for good. Stricken the fear in him with determination. He did not know it, but Zeus, and his sisters and brothers before him were the first new race of gods: Olympians. (That is after titanomatchy, Clash of the Titans) For the first time in his life, he felt the air. The crisp, warm air that soothes his senses. Levelling his hand above him where the sun shines, with a smile he knew it was good to be out and experience the elements that long surrounds the earth. These new gods would not age upon reaching their prime (and Zeus had not reached his prime, not yet). They were swift as the wind, strong, and would not easily tire. They could not be killed. The most that could be done was to somehow imprison them... or contain them (as Kronos had). Not fearing of his father, nor does he needed to be told to be concealed. He reeled back with his feet and sprinted, jumping off the cliffs of Island Crete. But the only thing that truly set gods apart... was their ability to transform. To be an Olympian was to be able to change shape as others change their mind. As Zeus formed into the hawk, flying through the sky over the waters of Oceanus. Into anything Olympians desired... as he swooped down and dived into the sea as an fast ocean fish from shapes flowing into shapes, and be fluid like water. "Come on, Metis, we want to visit Zeus!" "Hurry!" Sisters of Metis cried, ecstatic to visit Crafty Zeus. "Zeus's not going anywhere!" Metis said, bubbles trails behind her. "You know he can't leave his cave," she said with a smile and a wave. "Anyway, I still want to swim. You can go..." Gulp! "Metis!" The first sister cried in surprise, seeing her sister suddenly dragged down. "Metis?" "Metis, this isn't funny..." the second sister said, worry in her tone. Waves ushered Zeus and Metis to the surface, surprising them both. "Oh!" He stood up with his arms and gave Metis a flirty yet playful look, "Hey Metis. How about a kiss?" He teases. "Zeus!" Metis exclaimed, oblivious to his broad approach out of nowhere. Slapping him across the face, but could not wipe the grin off his face. "Zeus?! You're out of your cave?" The second sister asked, incredulous. "What are you thinking? What if Lord Kronos sees you?" The first added in, concerned a bit for him. "Kronos?" Zeus scoffed, raises his fist up. "I've spent my whole life, cowering in darkness, because of Kronos!" He said, sitting up. "I'm done hiding!" He declared bravely, transforming into a stag to play with the sisters of wise Metis. She gets off from her back on the surface, dusting the sand off her dress with her hands. "Oh, he's such an idiot..." she said, "but it's a good thing he's so cute...". She sigh with a knowing smirk. Watching her sisters giggling and playing with Zeus as an deer. Night time "I remember, when I was a baby, looking out into a night sky like this..." Zeus described, recalling his memory of the moon's luminance. "I used to think that I could just reach up...," he gestured a grasp with his idex finger and a thumb around the moon from the distance, "reach up and take hold of the moon..." Zeus said, bearing a bittersweet smile and a left eye closer while gazing at the lunar body. https://camo.derpicdn.net/9c6c3f7edf5274d0d7025a26c9a8b4991141cc43?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.flourishinggoddess.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2015%2F08%2FFull-moon-goddess.jpg "The moon would never fit in your hand, Zeus. I've met Selene... she's way bigger than you." She stated jokingly. "I don't know... I can grow pretty big." Zeus retorted, looking at her with a witty look. She chuckled at that, staring at the sky ahead. "Zeus...", looking at him with a pondering look, "Now that you've left your cave... what are you going to do?" She asked. Zeus went quiet at this question, he faced away and laid there sideway, thinking. "Zeus?" He then turns his head over his shoulder and say, "It was very lonely, growing in that cave... no one to talk to, but nymphs, and a goat. A special goat, yes, but not much for talking...", laying his head on the grass. "So, I've had a lot of time on my hands. I would lay my head on the cave floor, like this, and Grandmother Earth would talk to me. She would tell me things. I still hear her whispers, even now. She would tell me of her husband, the sky, and of how their child Kronos overthrew him." He said, referring to Gaea's story. "She told me of my brothers and sisters, and how they still lived in the belly of Kronos. And of how I must free them. Back deep, deep in my cave, Grandmother Earth has grown a plant. 'Feed this plant to Kronos', she tells me, and my brothers and sisters will be set free." He prophesied. Sighing at the thought of putting the Lord of time in his place, even when his chances could backfire strongly. Laying on his Back, "Of course, She hasn't told me exactly how I'm supposed to get this plant to Kronos. He's the Lord of the universe. Even with everything I can do, if I confront him, I'll join my siblings in his stomach." "I'll give it to him." Metis said, a clever smirk adorned to her face. "What?" He exclaimed questionably, expecting her to explain. "Kronos is my uncle. As far as he knows, He's got nothing to fear from me. I'll feed him the plant and he'll cough up your brothers and sisters. Then you all get together, overthrow the titans, and boom! You're the new Lord of the universe." She explained. "You make it sound so easy." He remarked. "Isn't it? You have me helping you, after all." "Ha!" "And then, when you're Lord of the universe, you'll make me your queen." Zeus raised his eyebrow in interest, "I will, huh? How come?" "Because I'm so much smarter than you, of course." She retorts. "Of course!" He said, chuckles at that statement. "Listen to me, Zeus: you'll go far. Here's the plan." Far from Crete, in the center of the world, Lord Kronos sat atop his mountain throne in the islands of the blessed. With his queen Rhea at his side, He held court over the inhabitants of the earth. Before him was the pile of precious resources from every type of food shown as an tribute for him from every beings on this land. "So much treasure... and Kronos will devour it all..." Metis said slowly, in the line with an very old woman in an cloak and the daughter of Oceanus held an pot contained secretly of an plant. "At least that's what we hope for, right?" The old woman asked. During the line, an earth nymph stepped up and held up an rare gem. "Please accept as a token of our gratitude this gem we found entangled in the roots of the oldest oak tree. My sisters and I ask you, in your benevolence, to look kindly upon us, or, uh, not at all." She offered nervously, overwhelmed by Kronos's cold look facing straight and not looking down. "I'll, uh, I'll just leave it here then. Thank you, Lord Kronos, Thank you." She praises as she set the gem down, rushes off with grave anxiety in her heart. A gigantes eyed her pitifully, could not blame her for her nervously. Stepping up with a couple dead elephants in tow as he looked up. "G-greetings and salutations, Lord Kronos. I am Polybotes, of the gigantes. We offer you these wonderful beasts we caught in the South. They are favorites of ours, and we hope that they satisfy your appetite. P-please don't eat us. Thank you." He said fearfully, setting the elephants down and walks off. Metis and the old woman stepped forward, "Lord and mighty uncle Kronos, I am Metis, a daughter of Oceanus, and..." "Old woman... it seems I should know of one such as you." Kronos said rumbly, not giving the Metis his attention than at the woman. "U-uncle Kronos, this is Kelmis, one of-" "It is not you whom I asked..." he interrupted coldly with narrowed eyes. "Lord Kronos, as she said, I am Kelmis, once a handmaiden to your queen, but now aged and long since retired. I -" "Do you take me for a fool?!" he cut the old woman off with a outraged booming voice, "Did you believe I would not recognize a child of my line, no matter how he was disguised?" "Child?" Rhea asked, confused and shocked. "We obviously underestimated you." 'Kelmis' said in a male voice, stripping the disguise to reveal himself as Zeus with a defiant look. "Zeus!" Metis cried. Seeing the hand of Kronos reaching out for the couple olympians, Zeus reacted swiftly: "Metis! Look out!" He yelled, pushing out of the way as he was grabbed by his father. "I do not know how..." lifting Zeus up to his father's face, "you escaped your fate of your brothers and sisters." He said, opening his mouth widely, inside was like a black hole with stars. "But you join them now... in the belly of Kronos!!" chucking his son inside his mouth and devoured. The son of Kronos falling in the halfway to his father's belly, he pulls out a plant grown by Grandmother Earth from his loins and throws, watching it fall. "Look upon me, Gaea! Look upon me, Denizens of the earth!" he called out, "Witness the fate of those who oppose me! I am Lord Kronos, and my reign shall be eternal! It is only at my whim thsr you st- hhhk! Kkkk!" he chokes, hurled a fiery object from his mouth and it landed on the ground with a crater, which it is stone decoy made by Rhea. "W-what is....Kkkk! H-happening....?" he coughed violently, hurling more of his children in the distances. Gaea's herb worked. The youngest son of Kronos rocketed across the sky. To his surprise, He held in his arms the limp form of the youngest daughter of Kronos. Zeus transform into the hawk and carried her to the ground with a deep red robe, shifting back and gently set her down. At the sight of the youngest daughter of Kronos, grown to adulthood in Kronos's belly, She was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. Her name was Hera. Enchanted by her looks, she first gain consciousness. Looking at him for the first time, "Mmm... oh. Hello." She greeted weakly. "H-hello. My name is Zeus." He stuttered, off guard by her beauty. "I've slept for so long..." Hera said, Looking at him with a grateful smile and touches his cheek. "Zeus... i had a dream about you..." One by one, reversing the order in which they had been swallowed, Kronos disgorged the rest of his children. Tempestuous Poseidon landed in the sea. Fair-haired Demeter, much given to mystery, awoke in the distant field of corn. Gloomy Hades, Eldest son of Kronos, crawled from the crater his landing had made. And poor Hestia, the firstborn Child, the last released, had so long lain in the stomach of Kronos, She was completely digested. With nearly no form of her own, She flickered like a flame, from the still mouth of her father. As the gathered around in front of their weakened father from the stomach ailment, they glared down at him with righteous anger.https://camo.derpicdn.net/a63ac17c2479e65a47933321c7d17795b8f89e61?url=https%3A%2F%2Fimages.macmillan.com%2Ffolio-assets%2Finteriors-images%2F9781596436251.IN03.jpg Regaining consciousness, the titan of time glared back at them. "Do not think what you have done... will go unpunished..." he said gravelly, the titans rushes over to his side. "Already My brothers come to my aid. Already my strength returns... prophecy be damned. We will... I will... not be beaten by brats like you.... in time, we will destroy you..." With Zeus's hand clenched, "You have had your time in the sun, father." He said. "Zeus?" His mother called, filled with joy and relief to see her son and including her children free from their father. "We will take what we deserve. What we have been denied for so long. Any who stand with Kronos stand against us. Goodbye." After he said that finally, the Olympians transformed into hawks and flew off. The titanesses and Oceanus did not join in the class. But the titans... In their rage, the titans transformed the face of the world. Continents were torn from the earth. New oceans were gouged. For eleven years, Zeus and his siblings battled against the titans across the face of the earth. They fought tooth and claw, hoof and fang. That which did not stop them yet exist in nature. While other ones such as Prometheus and his brother evacuated the humans and other beings to the cave where their siblings ignored or forgets to rip. Exhausted, Zeus turned to Gaea, as he had years before. Listen to me, My brave grandson. Know this: you must travel deep, deep within my crust. As deep below as the heavens are high. You must journey alone. It will not be without danger. To match the titan's fury, you must breach the gates of Tartarus. And there, claim your birthright. He ventured where he needed to go from his grandmother's telepathic instructions, climbing down from the walls of her crust almost to Tartarus, but blocked by the ferocious dragon in its slumber. Zeus quietly hopped down, stealthily walks across to avoid the scalie mass. "You won't get passed me like that, son of Kronos". the Dragon growls, rising from her slumber. "I know that you can grow very large,", surrounding his path with her tail, "But I have been in this cave since time before time, and have grown very large indeed. The gateway to Tartarus is very tight, and I fill it completely. Trust me o son of Kronos, In here, you cannot grow very large enough to contend with me." She said viciously, opening her jaws as the flames flows from them. "I know that you have travelled very far to reach me, and that you must be very tired. You cannot defeat me, o son of Kronos. Why not save yourself needless trouble... and walk into the mouth of Kampe?" "You speak wisely, Kampe, as befits your great age. But you forgot one thing," Zeus commented, looking around and contemplates his actions beforehand, "what if I do not need to get by you at all?" "Disappeared!" She shouts, "I know not what trick shields you from my sight, But now you will burn in the flames of Kampe!!" Bursts wave of flames at Zeus, only to be missing from her sight. "You cannot burn what you cannot touch, Kampe, and you can no longer touch me." He mocked, nowhere in sight. "What?!" She bellowed in confusion, smokes coming out of her nostrils. "I am invisible, immaterial!" "Trickery!" Sending more flames everywhere in frustration, " Or perhaps it is your age which betrays you, o great Kampe." Zeus jeers, sticking to a cave needle as an fly. "And you can see no longer see that which is before your very snout!" "Burn! Burn!!" Bellowing in rage and spitting more fire everywhere, Zeus shifted back to himself and expands the crack open through the gap. "Bur-what?" She said, noticing above her. Before the Dragon could have time to react, the big needle fell and shoved into her mouth. Zeus went for cover behind the short walls of cavern rock and shape shifted into a turtle, hiding in his shell. Kampe was struggling to breathe, gas that creates fire from within starts to inflate her. Then the bright, blinding light filled this cave. BOOM! After the flash of light dies down, remains of the Ancient Dragon Kampe are engulfed in flames. Kindly filling this cave with luminance. Zeus came out in his original form and whistles in brief victory, "That worked far better than I expected." He said, started to walk to the gateway. "It was considerate of Kampe to light the way to Tartarus... I'd grown weary of walking in darkness.", stood before the massive golden door and laid hands on his hips. "Of course! Why should it be easy?" He said sarcastically, opening the gate with a loud grunt. Now walking in the pitch black realm. "Hello?" Zeus hollered, roaming through the darkness, "Is anyone here?" He asked aloud. The eyes of the Hekatonchieres opened and glows in the dark, causing him to be aware what's behind him and turns slowly. "Uh...", He didn't have time to say anything as the hundred hands loomed at him with much ferocity. "Ahh!" He yelled, transforming into a lightning bug evading the hands. Avoiding every arms of the hundred handed creature trying to capture him. It smacked him, this seems to satisfy it or so it thought... "Ruh?" The Hekatonchieres shouts, dumbfounded. Zeus flies as an bat, squeaking slyly and glided through the dark until he was caught off guard by a big eye flashing bright light at him. Fallen to the ground in his normal form, the light directed at him and shielded his face from the brightness. "Behold, my brothers. It seems we have a visitor. It's been a very long time we've had visitors in Tartarus." said the first Cyclops, filled with mirth. Two of the other Cyclops joined him with bright eyes as well. "Announce yourself." he demanded. The crafty Olympian stood, speaks with respect: "Oh mighty Cyclops, my name is Zeus -" "Zeus? We know of you." the first said, cutting him off. His 4 claws sparked and zapped him with streaming lightning, "Our jailer." "AAH!" Zeus yells in pain, powerful electricity surging through him. "H-honored uncle, I have journeyed far to see you.... slain the Dragon Kampe-" he was interrupted by another stream of lightning by the second Cyclops. "Gaah!" He grunted, "T-to free you and your brothers..." on his knees, "the heka- Hekatonchieres, at the request of grandmother Gaea herself!" Zeus strained, strength in his conviction. The third Cyclops comes as last with his brethren, all electrifying the son of Kronos at once. "Let me guess, then, son of Kronos." The first Cyclops replied, "You wish to claim your birthright, guarded safe by us Cyclops all these years?" "Y-yess!" "Claim It, then." Far,Far Above Metis struggled against the chains bounded to a very sturdy rock. "Come on... come on... Zeus always made it look so easy..." she muttered, trying to concentrate into becoming anything to escape until a shadow loomed over her, "oh!" "Look at you. Atlas mocked coldly, "Trying to change shape. Like Kronos's spawn. They left you behind, didn't They? Transformed themselves to birds and just flew away..." "At least they never kept me chain, Atlas!" She shouted in a snarky tone. "You are a traitor. Count yourself lucky that Kronos didn't swallow you. He's challenged us, You know. Your boyfriend, Zeus." he said, glaring down on her. "We go now to destroy him. I thought you would want to know." He finished, walking off back to his uncles. She sigh morosely, a hand rubbing on the left side of her head. Suddenly, an invisible phenomenon unchained her. "What? How?" She exclaimed. "Follow me." Ordered the deep male voice. "Who?!" Metis said with a bewildered look, "Hades, Zeus' brother." He replied and took off the helm as he revealed himself to visibility. "The Cyclopes gave me this helmet of invisibility." Hades said, putting it back on and guided her through the paths. "Cyclopes?" She asked. "Zeus wanted you far away from what was about to happen." He explained. Metis stopped and sees someone far away from the few meters of the titans. "Standing there. Who is that?" "That's Zeus." "Zeus? What does he think he's doing?" She asked, surprised to see him with a different appearance such as white hair and beard. He just stand there, as if waiting for something. Destroy him. Kronos ordered the might titan, nodded in return and walks over to Zeus, whom stood there and looked up at him fearlessly. "Anything to say for yourself?" Atlas asked, earned him a silent response from him, "No? Very well then." he raised his intense muscular arm, ready to pummel the existence out of Zeus. Streams of lightning zips through the clouds above the mighty titan and came crashing down upon him hard with 8 massive bolts, knocking Atlas down. The titans were shocked at the thunderous display from the leader of the Olympians, Kronos just shrugged it off otherwise. "You've learned some new tricks. More help from your treacherous grandmother, no doubt." Kronos commented. Zeus walked on Atlas' chest, flowing with lightning while his eyes glows with power, "Hello, father." He greeted, summoning a big thunder bolt in his grasp. "I do indeed have gifts from grandmother earth, as does my brother Poseidon." Poseidon walked up from behind and stood beside him with a trident in his hands. "We hope to share them with you. But first, there's someone else for you to meet..." The earth cracks and bashes through from the hands of Cyclops and Hekatonchieres, surprising the titans. "I brought my uncles." After that being said, He hurled himself in the sky, riding the lightning. The titans and their monstrous brethren clashed mightily, but the Cyclops and the hundred handed ones were far too powerful and made the battle so easy, They dragged the titans to the chasm of Tartarus. "Hideous beasts..." The Lord of time snarled with distaste, swinging his scythe around to ward off his monstrous brethren trying to take him down, "OUT OF MY WAY!" he roared, glaring at them dangerously enough to make the Cyclops and the Hekatonchieres to retreat to the chasm, "Get back to Tartarus, you abominations!" They hissed with hate at their brother, yet victory was already sweet after capturing his titan brothers. They descended to Tartarus, leaving the battle to the hands of the Olympians they now support. As Zeus landed on the hills of the mountains, including Poseidon to walk up on the other side. Father and sons faced each other beneath the blackened sky. It was the first time in each of their lives they had stood face to face for so long. How much time passed as they took the measure of each other one cannot say. What thoughts raced through their heads, one cannot know. It was Poseidon who struck first. "Hah!" The Earth Shaker shouts, crashing his triple pronged weapon into the earth and created a powerful quake. Kronos stood there with a huff and stomped it with enough force, causing to counter at him and recoiled him to lose his footing as he fell into the quake drop, swiftly grabbed onto the ledge. "Huh!" Zeus yells, hurling his lightning at his father, only to be deflected by Kronos's parry block with his scythe.https://camo.derpicdn.net/7c9c11bcdfc871f39a6d89ef18b6fbf866607ec3?url=https%3A%2F%2F78.media.tumblr.com%2Fa61c5cd3586a59178af0e2455085581a%2Ftumblr_p0hk40gVtP1rq9ihbo2_r1_540.gif Hurling more thunder bolts at him while they were deflected as they continually battled. "Poseidon! Hades you have to help him!" Metis cried, After watching the battle of the titans and the monsters. She looked around, "Hades?" "So that is Gaea's gift to you..." Kronos reeled his sickle, "now have a taste of mine." Each blow of Kronos's sickle that Zeus parried split the crust of the earth. Every swung that missed cleaved the mantle of the sky. Until... Boom! Zeus rocketed to the mountain from the strike of his sickle and crashed into it, coats of electricity cushioned the obliterating damage. Poseidon struggled to reach up from the ledge, it crumbled and broke his chance of getting to the surface until he was caught by an invisible force. "I have you brother." Hades said, pulling him back up to his feet on the ground. "And now..." The titan pulls his weapon over his head, ready to end his son. That cuts his judgement off by Poseidon's earthquake, cornering his father in the center. "Rrggh!" The thunderer rises from the rumbles of the mountain, pointing his palm. "My turn..." He grunted, shooting waves at lightning at his father's face. "GRAAARRR!" the titan screamed in pain, stumbling back carefully over the ledge. Zeus jumped high and held a massive bolt in his hand, Kronos readied his weapon once more with a glare of contempt for his son. Their prowess clashed with almighty force, the son of Kronos landed on his scythe and emanates even more powerful streams of lightning into it. BOOM! https://camo.derpicdn.net/39e57dc854d9a8495b1eacea1081c6c7dfc02930?url=http%3A%2F%2F78.media.tumblr.com%2F4ba8b3652fcffeb29385872efabadf56%2Ftumblr_nuxa34fHcd1qmvxavo1_540.gif "Hunh!" Kronos recoiled, stumbled back with smokes evident from his hands. "My...my sickle...where?..." he questioned weakly, flabbergasted that his weapon is lost. He then look at his son and fear was striked into himself at the sight of his Starry eyes. But Zeus had too much of his father in him... so he struck the Lord of time down with a finishing blow. "NO!!!" he screamed in pain, falling to Tartarus. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....." The screams of that villainous titan were silenced as the deepness consumed him. His brothers and Metis joined by his side, satisfied by the downfall of Kronos. She looked at Zeus's new look, smiled and rubs his hair. "Your hair... it looks nice." She complimented. Zeus smiled back and replied "...Thanks." A new light poured in from the tattered sky. The light of New Age. Humanity barely survived this Clash of Titans. Things could not be as they were. Scorched and bare, grandmother earth could no longer provide for all of mankind's nerds. Fair-haired Demeter taught humans the art of agriculture. Innocent no longer, mankind now had to work and toil in order to survive. Peace was made between Zeus's forces and the titanesses, who took no part in the conflict, and were accorded a place of honor in the new world order. Others were punished. Zeus sentenced the titan Atlas to shoulder the burden of the sky, now too damaged to support its own weight. The rest of the titans were imprisoned in Tartarus. For they were mighty, and Zeus needed no rivals. For their part, the Hekatonchieres found they missed the endless dark of Tartarus, and remained there as the titans' jailers. And far, far above, atop the tallest mountain left standing, called Olympus, Zeus made his home. And there they ruled. Zeus and his queen, his brothers and sisters, his children. Ageless and immortal, a new race of gods. And Zeus was their king. From far atop Mount Olympus, Zeus, Lord of the universe, looked out over the bright day sky... And smiled. But Mother Earth was still unhappy, for she loved all of her children. And that is a tale for another day... Author's Note Whoo!, by the stars... This has been a while to get this over these finger-twisting obstacles, BUT I MADE IT! HA! In your face, Time! I really worked vigorously and considered amount of details and subjects into this story, I felt accomplished on writing the story of Zeus, whom is my favorite Olympian. Anyway, i have this idea I like to showcase: Questionnaires! Here goes... Zeus's dad tries to eat him. Has your dad ever tried to eat you? A lot of names in this story will sound familiar; for example, Zeus' grandfather, Ouranos, Has a name similar to Uranus, the planet. What other things can you think of that similar names to characters in Greek mythology? A lot of things that happened yo Zeus may seem similar to other stories that you have heard -- for instance, Zeus fighting against his evil father is like Luke Skywalker fighting against Darth Vader. What other stories do you know that are similar to what Zeus have went through? In many ways, Zeus and the other characters are like superheroes (obviously they might not be, but at least they're trying to overcome their ancient complex against all social norms and confrontations). What superheroes can you think it that are similar to characters in Greek mythology? Kronos is a God of Time, and he is described as devouring everything. Why do you think that is? There were originally twelve Titans, and later would be twelve Olympians. Why do you think that number twelve was so important? What other numbers seem to be important in the Greek myth? Where else in the world do you see these numbers? Very few people believe in the Greek gods today. Why do you think it is so important that we will learn about them? (You honestly don't have to answer one of them, but if you want... shoot your best theory or answers or guesses.) Anyway.... I hope you enjoy this story. (Ironically, There might be quite a missing piece or errors in this. But, what the hell.) //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1.2 Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1.2 Epilogue Flames reappears in their torches, filling this dining room with their luminance. The Olympians were once glorified from the tale told from the King of the gods, smiles of pride adorns to their faces. The princesses', however, says otherwise: "This is enthralling. I felt as if your origin took us to the past, we saw everything." Celestia spoke up, awe in her voice. "That is how we represent. What is the point of written evidences of our existence were read?" Hera said cryptically, petting her peacock on her lap. "Mortals would exaggerate, no matter how we came to be accurate for their relentless questions" Hermes added. "Ugh...." Luna groaned, lifted her head up from an obsidian table. "What'd I miss?" The solar princess snickers, preventing outbursts of guffawing. "You had an hangover, dear sister." She said playfully with a nudge to her stomach, causing her to retch. "Oh..." "I got this," Dionysus offered his help, walking over to the lunar princess and wrapped her arm around him. "Come on, moonie, I got something to get rid of that incessant headaches." Walking to his room. Athena reassured his sister with a smile, "Don't worry, he's very excellent in liquor problem therapy." Celestia smiled back in relief. "Thank you." Looking at Zeus, "I may have one question." "Very well." He allowed. "Why did Kronos think his Children would be capable of conquering him over divine birthrights?" The white-haired Olympian sat there, thinking. It's been eons ever since he asked this question when he became the Lord of the universe. But to remind him this particular treachery his father have ran him through the trouble to free his sibling. "Because he has too much of his father in him." "Huh?" Celestia blinked, didn't expect that question one bit. "How could that influence him, to make him close-minded of the chances what's going to happen?" "Because he has too much of his father in him," Hestia repeated for him,"it's not fear, no..." "It's ambition." Zeus finished for his sister. "Ambition begets fear and fear begets cruelty. Absorb too much power, and both of those two traits would be extremely unstable. Tyranny." He said with experience. Ever since he became Lord of the universe, he's afraid of his own children overthrowing him and unreasonably sabotaged their would-be mothers of creating an union of blood stronger than him as much he didn't need no rivals. Over the past 300 years and in the following events, he's at the point of where this turmoil was coming from between his affairs and his loved ones, besides Hera's wrath of him cheating, strikes an relevation about his way of preventing any more of his children: the universal rule. For the entire time, it was always twisting his choices and his responsibility as well as tolerance downgraded from the work of the cosmos. Not the fates themselves. After that, other than getting his ass chewed out by his wife, He has finally learned how to plan properly. There was no more of his haunting nature that forces him to do the unspeakable to his lovers. Instead, new nature borns, He consults and arranges living in different realms consisted of wise deities that has vast knowledge of greater power in the universe, just like himself. Where his children learnt how to be accountable and vigilant, they became better fighters and better vigilantes than the ones that are trigger-happy and wants all life end. That was the best changes Zeus could ever ask for in order to cast aside his old nature and start with the new. But... He still combats with powers of the cosmos every time in the longest to keep them at bay from consuming him. "Is there anything else, Celestia?" She stood and asked an question that made him frown sadly: "Where is Metis, your first queen?" This made the Olympians looked uncomfortable, wary for their king's emotions about the sore subject. Instead, he looked sad. Not angry because it was an touchy memory from his past, it was because he failed as her lover to keep his fear of powerful offsprings and his selfishness of loving Hera over her. Ever since Athena bursts out of his head, She was always asking him where she is. Not after she lived with her mother in his head, He just couldn't bring it up. It brought angst to his immortal heart. His selfishness was his eternal torment. Remorse. "She passed away, killed by an shooting star from the veil of the outer space." His daughter lied nonchalantly, obviously knew what happened to her. "Oh... I'm sorry. I couldn't imagine what weight it could to induce sorrow..." Celestia offered her condolences. "It is fine, do you need a lift?" She blinked at his transportation offer. "Really?" "Yes," He said, sees Luna comes out in her good condition from liquor issue. "I will escort you two to your homes. We shall visit to learn much more about your culture." "Why..." She smiles brightly at this suggestion, "that would be terrific! You can come anytime you like." "Huh? They're coming over the next day?" Luna asked, thrilled that she wanted to get to know Ares. "Yes, lunar one, we shall depart to your kingdom. Come." He stood and escorted them to their balconies with a flash of lightning. The princesses were gobsmacked how fast his way of transporting from there and then than their flying. Teleporting would wear those two down. "Thank you, Your majesty. This was quite quick." He laugh, "That's one wisecrack comment my son Hermes made after our race he dared challenge me. Both of us were equally fast, lightning vs. Speed force." He said, reminding himself as an young god with countless ways to be entertained just like his son. "You two ladies have a good night, till tomorrow then." He flashes back to his home. Luna nudges her sister's rib with a tease, "Who's cute, Zeus or that golden boy?" She asked slyly, causing Celestia to be blushing pink. "Lulu!" Celestia chastised, swatting her arm as the moon goddess laughs and walked inside. "I'm just saying, He might have a particular and mutual interest in you. I don't want that golden boy to be shagging you to make shiny babies." Celestia grown at that blunt comment and rubbed her face, yet a dreamy smile forms on her features. mmm... Maybe getting the doozy with the King of Olympus sounds like a very scandalous, steamy session. All I need is an entertainment session. She giggled at that thought, a bit sardonic with it. Going straight to her chamber, and rests for the next day. Zeus roams across the halls to his throne, glances around to make sure no one is present and tapped an button under the armrest. After a passage is opened, walks down towards an room with an mirror. He scrys to other dimensions and checks on his children, smiling with relief that they are fine. "One of these days... I'll bring all of you here, so you can start your journey with one of your other siblings, whom are the patrons of Olympus." Rubbing the frame with somber pressure, walking out of there and set the throne in place. Heading to his chambers where his wife sleeps in her bare form. Blissful by this gesture, He gets under the sheets and cuddles with his queen. Slumber washes over him, for the tomorrow awaits him. //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: Conflict //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: Conflict Beautiful, radiant day in Greece. The crops are growing, dogs yipping and running wildly through the field. Mortals going on with their daily lives, filled with serenity in cities and villages as Apollo's solar rays shining his smiles upon them. That is until... https://img.youtube.com/vi/QZpgHrKXooc/mqdefault.jpg The raging, powerful element in the universe rumbled through the sky. Vibrations were emitted through Greece. Mortals and all beings alike directed their gaze at Mt. Olympus, home of the gods. Yet, they tried to get a move on with their productivities. "Papa, what was that?" Asked an curious little Theban girl, being ushered by her father onto the carriage driven by horses. "Do not worry, my daughter. It's of no concern to you..." he said, looking at the thunderous weather around the mountain with wary eyes. Getting away from godlike dispute that could effect the land and his family's health. The battle had just begun, columns and pillars were left with burn marks from Zeus's thunderbolts and Hekate's magical attacks. Very capable to punish her, charging the lightning in his palm to maximize its mass. "This is the last time I've tolerated your interference with the witches of Britannia! You violated the rules of Olympus!" Zeus thundered, whom is the king of the gods, now being furious. The goddess of magic and witchcraft scoffed at his outburst, "They requested my presence, your majesty. I did no trifling with the cycle of the living and dying." "Your claim might be plausible for this conflict as it expected to be resolved, but..." added wise Pallas Athena. "You did associated with the new form of sorcery with these witches to almost had an power rivaled like us. This is an serious ordeal, Hekate. They could try to challenge us! What if they were agents of Kronos?" Poseidon exclaimed, held an trident by his side. "I've watched them summon Chrybdis from the depths of Bermuda Triangle!" Zeus looked to his brother with a nod of an agreement, leering back at her with narrowed sky blue eyes. "Now do you see how this relates to this disaster? This cannot continue, sorceress." "You are all being paranoid!" Shouted Hekate, outraged by these accusations. "I specifically told these witches to control their prowess, and yet it made them drunk. You all should know my lectures wouldn't eager them to try anything, like inducing catastrophic dissonance for example. I've given them guidance to life without being enslaved to such ridiculous human laws." "She speaks the truth, I've seen no deceit from her in the future." Apollo said. "Bah! You are senile, sunny jim!" The god of war jeered, "She didn't even bothered to help us in the wars against gigantes! Why should we spare her?" Demeter, goddess of agriculture, glared at Ares with an annoyed look. "Do be silent, You bloodthirsty dog. She helped me trying to find Persephone, and now married to gloomy Hades," says with a venomous bite, "but aside from that, She has helped us with a lot of ways we can't even solve beyond of our problems. I say spare her, she's been our great ally if it weren't for her!" She said with conviction in Hekate's defense. Zeus, thunderer and rival to Kronos and Typhon, observed the argument. He felt the air surges through the Olympians and him, though the gale force wasn't his doing. Confused by this sign, Boreas the north wind could be doing this, but this time it was stranger from this phenomenon. "Uhh... guys?" Dionysus spoke up, pointing at the darker thunderclouds. The gods stopped their quarrels as they looked up, shocked at the sight of the weather swirling and splits, creating a rift that starts to rip the mountain in with strong vacuum suction. "I am not doing this!" Zeus shouted. "It's our powers, we have stirred the cosmos to upset this score of reality with our argument!" Hekate mentioned, now sucked into the portal. "Woah...oh oh..." Hephaestus wobbles with a nervous shudder, comes in second to the rift. "Wait, that means we're going to a different dimension?!" Athena yelled, yelped being sucked in thirdly. "Oh, great..." Hera Muttered, getting sucked in next with her husband and the other rest of the Olympians. Including Olympus. The rift closes, clearing the clouds to their normal weather look. While that happened, the mortals was dumbfounded by this strange event. They all have that question in their head: Where on Earth did they go?!! Canterlot Here stands on the balcony of the Royal castle, Celestia. Princess of the sun, diarchy ruler of Equestria. Sister to Luna, whom is the second princess and have dominion over the moon. She gazed upon her citizens and the small town far away known as Ponyville with motherly indigo eyes, smiling at the liveliness they seem to express. But frowns at the stages of political aspects affecting on Ponyville other than here, for they shown no concern to what happens to that town. Twilight is the new ruler there to make the difference, but the stress on her shoulders could drive her to madness if too much pressure. Perhaps one day Celestia should come and boost confidence and assertiveness, in hope to strengthen her will. The solar princess in her outfit resembled what a college kid would look like, looked at Luna with a knowing smile to her side that she appeared from the entrance. https://camo.derpicdn.net/9562b6fd32487f3dbab6dee9259102e664d12c49?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.chzbgr.com%2Ffull%2F8332173056%2Fh9A4467E2%2F "Why, hello Luna." She greeted warmly, then noticed the outfit her sister is wearing and bears a 'really' look. "Seriously? That's what you wore to the night court?" Luna raises her eyebrow and looked at herself. https://derpicdn.net/img/2014/3/23/582569/full.jpeg Rolling her eyes, "Please, you'd know the aftermath of mixing dresses and laundry machines to get those done. If that were to your satisfaction, then I hate to disappoint you sister." She deadpanned, flippant look directed at Celestia's tattoo. "That's like an cosplay custome for that League of Legends, Luna. You had stallions breaking their own hearts every time they asked you for a date." Celestia remarked, sighing in slight exasperation, "and do not get me started on 'whoever fucked an princess gets to be king and blah blah blah', we both know the future outcome of that catastrophe." Luna sighed in understanding. "I understand, Tia. Although, I understand the dress code for royalty to abide by. But honestly, it's an pain in the ass." "I know." Celestia said with a smile, patting her shoulder. "To be honest, I missed the days of dressing like this." Luna looked at her, surprised from that statement. "Really?" "Oh yes, makes me rebellious to be quite unrestricted to this lifestyle. Sadly, our parents expected highly of us." She said, forlorn look adorned in her eyes. The lunar princess frowned sadly and hugged her, "We know they are proud of our accomplishments from the cosmos." Celestia smiled at the sincerity shown from her Sister, She was about to say something until a unsettling disturbances occurred in their senses. "Do you feel that?" Celestia asked seriously. "I can feel it, that means an dimensional rift have been inserting unexpected visitors!" Luna said, on edge. "Come, we must investigate this oddity." Spreading her wings as she took off to the sky, having Luna coming along. Nowhere in the middle of mountains, Equestria The portal hurled Olympus towards the jagged fields of higher rocks, putting Olympians on alert. "Heracles, try flying down and stop this place from crashing down!" Hermes yelled, holding onto the pillar for his dear life. Mighty Heracles nodded and jumps off from the edge of the godly home, gliding underneath it and slammed his palm against the below of the mountain. Rigorously stopping the velocity from plummeting this palace to the ground, landed with his feet on the Earth and skidded a good 60 yard across the terrain adding strain and causes the ascended hero to violently bulges his veins all over his body. Using all of his Herculean strength to conquer the weight. Looking around and found himself at an cliff, sighing in relief and flew up with the help of Ares and Hephaestus. "There." Zeus ordered, pointed at a perfect spot for Olympus. Heracles gently set the mountain down on an flat surface of an higher rock and held it real good for the god of fire and smithery to reinforce the attachments to keep the mountain from tilting over. "Thank you, brother." Hephaestus praises, patting his back hard. "Not a problem." Heracles smiled, flying back to the palace with him. Meeting the Olympians again, they began to spout curiosity and concern for their surroundings and their duties from their realm. Hekate yelled a loud voice with sound magic: "Quiet!" They silenced their clamoring and this earn her their utmost attention. "I understand this confusion shocked all of us, but this is no time to be concerned over our domains! There are others that will take care of our duties." "Yes, this is hardly an time to be fussing over them. We are now in an unknown territory." Zeus said. "And there is magic all around us. It's really alive!" Artemis said, looking around with her absolute sight. Athena then spoke up, "I sense 2 goddesses that rules over this land. And there are quite a lot of deities through different countries and territories." "So what, should we be on guard?" Ares asked. "I hope not, because I've just about had enough of battles." Said Aphrodite fixing her pedicure, smiling at the perfection. "Perhaps, but it is our best to have come with a peaceful compromise towards our would-be guests." Athena added. "Agreed." Said a deep, gloomy voice. Hades, Lord of the underworld, emerges from the dark portal. "My world was taken to this as well, it is our questions that should be filled with valiant answers." He suggested, his wife coming out after him. Poseidon looked to his younger brother for confirmation, earns a nod from Zeus. The Olympians sat in their thrones and waited patiently for deities of Equestria to arrive in this room, In order to end their questions with a constructive explanations. The princesses flew through the field, avoiding jagged rocks that might injure them. Then they came to a halt at the glowing domain sitting on the top of the mountain, in awe at the majesty of an palace. https://camo.derpicdn.net/5f4d31006f67798c2fdae3808f5d1871a0d645c6?url=https%3A%2F%2Fh1.hobystatic.com%2Farticles%2Fimage%2F6d5c447b-7dbb-424b-a0ee-e3d1bf6b5594 "Wow... that's what arrived here?" Celestia wondered aloud. Luna looked around, this familiarity of this territory fills her with dread. "This is like, 40 miles away from the Dragon kingdom! They will take this as an trespassers on their personal property." She said. "That may be, but that's 20 miles if they're that daring. This mountain is 40 miles away from that, so it is alright. I can feel godly presences from a mile away, let us introduce ourselves." Celestia declared. They glided down to the entrance of Olympus and headed their way to the gods.
