The Map's Sending Us Where?

After a moment of sitting at the map staring at their cutie marks circling Twilight's bedroom, the two finally decided to head up there. Both mares thought that this made no sense but Twilight, despite thinking her bedroom may not be the best place to do so, thought maybe this was the map's way of telling her the time had come to reveal her crush to Fluttershy.

Once they arrived in the bedroom, Twilight plopped down on her bed while Fluttershy sat in a chair at her desk. For several minutes the two sat there in an uncomfortable silence until Twilight broke the silence, "So Fluttershy, how are your animals doing?"

This was a somewhat awkward question for Fluttershy given it was just so random. She replied, "Well they're doing ok although Angel was a bit grumpy this morning since I didn't have anything fancy for him."

Twilight knew how he could be. She commented, "I'm guessing that he won't be happy when you get home."

Fluttershy gave a nervous laugh, "Probably not."

The situation felt so awkward for the two, so awkward that they both felt like just leaving despite the map calling them up there. Finally though, Fluttershy eyeballed Twilight's bed and asked, "Uhm Twilight, do you think I could sit with you."

This made Twilight feel a bit less stressed and awkward. "Of course you can." replied Twilight with a nervous smile.

Fluttershy sat down next to her and could tell that her friend was nervous but a bit happy that she was there. She asked, "I take it this situation doesn't feel so awkward now?"

The situation for Twilight, despite her being happy Fluttershy was sitting by her, became even more awkward. She sat there in a nervous silence but would be surprised when Fluttershy put her wing around her and continued, "It's ok if you feel awkward Twilight."

When Fluttershy put her wing around her, Twilight's heart skipped a beat and she felt a tingle go up her spine. She replied, "I'll admit, I do feel a bit awkward." She turned towards Fluttershy and continued, "But it has nothing to do with you, it is just the whole map thing. I still don't get why it would call us up here."

When she turned towards her, Fluttershy couldn't help but gaze down at Twilight's chest and imagine what those big, beautiful boobs looked like. She placed her hand on Twilight's knee and replied, "I still wonder why it did too but who knows, it may have just called us up here to make our friendship closer." She began to move her hand up her leg to the edge of the bottom of her skirt and continued, "Maybe it thinks we aren't close enough of friends."

Twilight blushed and looked down at Fluttershy's chest and couldn't help but be drawn to a couple of beauties that she imagined rivaled her own. She placed her hand on Fluttershy's knee and gave a nervous laugh, "You never know, it might have."

The two sat there, hands on the other's leg and gazed deeply into one another's eyes. This was something that neither mare expected to happen that day but neither really knew what to do at that point. Through both their minds they wondered, "Should friends be doing this? Did the map send them up there for that?" After gazing into the other's eyes for several minutes, the two parted and as though the were reading the other's mind, in unison laughed, "Of course not! The map is for friendship problems, it doesn't play matchmaker!"

They both faced forward but remained sitting close and Fluttershy kept her wing around Twilight. Twilight nervously commented, "Well that was awkward."

At first it did seem awkward to Fluttershy but during that moment something came to the surface that she didn't even know existed, a crush on Twilight. She turned towards Twilight and gave her a blush, "Kinda but it wasn't too awkward."

Twilight noticed her blush and had a feeling that maybe her crush had a crush on her as well. Initially she was wanting to just say that the map was malfunctioning and suggest that they go downstairs but once she saw her blush, Twilight wanted her and Fluttershy to stay up in her bedroom, even if it was just sitting together in an awkward silence.
