You're Mine

Sunny truly had enough with Shining's attempts of getting Colt and Sugarcoat together, it went as far as Cinch knowing of this. Abacus was shocked to hear this from her daughter but calmly explained how things were going to happen during the future, and just told Sunny to stay out of it. However, Sunny didn't even twice before making a group chat with her friends, including Colt and his own gang of friends. Abacus peered over her daughter's shoulder and rose an eyebrow slightly.

"What are you doing?" Abacus questioned, going over to make a cup of tea. "I thought I told you to stay out of this, you don't need to be involved in this sort of drama, Sunny."

"I can't really stay out of it now, mom." Sunny said, her eyes never leaving the phone. "I've been in this drama the moment it started happening, and I just want to make sure Colt doesn't try any funny business."

Abacus gave a tiny smile to her daughter. "That's sweet for you to do, but you should just let things play out. I rather for you to not get too involve as you are now, understand?"

The only way to get her mother off of her back was to agree. With a slight nod, Sunny watched as her mother went on with making her tea, after a while, Sunny made her way upstairs to her room. Sitting down on her bed close to the window, Sunny bite her lip, unsure about how to start up the chat.

All the time whenever they had a group chat, it usually would be Lemon who stared it. After all, Lemon was the one who made them, so this was new for Sunny making the group chat.

Entering Group Chat

Excuse me, Indigo, but I can do whatever!- Sour

You realize I was having a nice nap before you started texting, right?-Sugar

Maybe I shouldn't have made this. Ah, well. Anyone know where Lemon and the boys are?? I added them in!- Sunny

Lemon, I understand, but why the boys??? Are you trying to make us kill them?-Sugar

Hey, I thought you were cool with Emerald and Bolt? Why hatin' on them right now??- Indigo

Just go with it, Indigo! We don't need to be going on about them right now! Let's talk about you and Sugar!- Sour

Why? What do you have to hide from us??? You been doing something you don't want us know about???- Sunny

Not that you need to know of, Sunny! Sour, lay off! We get enough fan girl support form Lemon, and we don't need more!- Indigo

Exit Group Chat

Sunny groaned as she listened to her phone go off with text messages from no doubt, Indigo and Sour fighting about Indigo and Sugarcoat's relationship. The question was deep in her mind now. Why was Sour interested in knowing about what they had done?

Had they even done it before?

Groaning, Sunny placed her hands over her eyes. Why was she now thinking of this all of a sudden? If her mother found out, no doubt she would be pissed off. Well, only pissed off if they had done at school before Summer came along. Maybe she should go back on and ask if they had done it before?

No. No!

She wouldn't be asking that question, that would be disturbing and no doubt truly awkward to be asking your friends. But it seemed like Sour had no shame and went ahead to ask if they had done it without even thinking twice. Sunny always wondered how Sour could ask those things.

Hearing a knock at her door, Sunny turned her attention towards the door a few feet away from her. "Come in," She called out to see her mother coming in with two cups in hand. Putting her phone away, Sunny took one of the cups form her mother's hand and took a sip. "Thanks."

"It's not a problem," Abacus nodded, taking another sip of her cup. "I've been meaning to ask this for a while now. Have you found someone that makes you happy?"

Sunny nearly spat out her drink. "Wh, what?"

"Sunny, honestly, I can see how you spend your lunches at school," Abacus smiled behind her cup. "I always take walks around the building, and I notice how you're with your friends, but I notice how other students do give you looks, and I find myself wondering if you have your eye on anybody."

Sunny looked down and Abacus went on.

"Now, I ask again, have you found someone that makes you happy?"

"Uh... not really..." Sunny shook her head. "It never crossed my mind before."

Again, Abacus smirked behind her cup. "Oh? Well, I see. However, I do see how sneaking looks towards a certain boy going by the name of Maple Royal, and I believe he sneaks looks back to you whenever he thinks I'm not watching." Seeing how her daughter flushed. Abacus held a laugh. "Are you interested in him?"

No use trying to hide this from her now.

"Maybe just a little?" Sunny smiled weakly while Abacus allowed a small laugh to leave her lips. "Okay, okay... maybe more than just a little."

"Don't let him get away," Abacus chuckled before making her leave towards the door. Gazing over her shoulder slightly at her daughter before leaving the room. "Away like I did with your father for not stepping up and taking his job seriously as your father..."

Feeling her phone go off again, Sunny rolled her eyes and set the cup on the small table next to her bed and scrolled through the messages. By the looks of it, Sour had lost the battle to know what went down between Indigo and Sugar, but the good news was the boys were on.

Ugh... Sour, stop complaining about how you lost! Let it go, girl!-Bolt

No! I'm not letting it go!- Sour

Stop fighting. Colt, Shining, Emerald, are you on??- Sunny

Yeah, I'm on. What you need??-Emerald

Right here, Sunny.-Colt

Somethin' ya need? While we're at it, why did you add us?-Shining

I'll explain in a moment, I assume Indigo and Sugarcoat are out or something?- Sunny

Yup, Indigo offered to take her out. Leaving us alone, idiot of an athlete.- Sour

Alright, so, who's idea was it for Colt to KISS Sugar at the beach?? I want honesty!- Sunny

That was enough group chat for one day, it was better leaving it before Sour got all pissed off for not knowing about Maple and what not. Sunny silently promised herself to keep herself from wincing the next time she saw her friends in public as Sour would surely go crazy when they saw each other next.

Not a doubt in the world could stop her picturing Sour's reaction to her text message. Sour throwing her hands up into the air with a shocked look resting on her face.

It was just funny to picture.

"No doubt she'll attack me," Sunny muttered to herself, laying down on her bed. "But that's just Sour being shocked and all."

This was an interesting group chat for sure...

Now, all they needed was Lemon to reply and everything would be fine, or knowing Lemon, could go in a different direction than needed.
