Twilight was crying in her room as the meeting with Queen Novo that had happened a few days ago went horribly wrong. She had been devastated by Queen Novo's rejection of her apology but at the same time she predicted that it would happen due to her own actions.
But at the same time however she didn't want Queen Novo to hate her forever as all ponies needed to make up sometime including both her and Queen Novo. That meeting was so awful. She wanted to try and apologize again but felt like that it was hopeless.
She wondered what Queen Novo was doing at that moment. She hoped that Queen Novo was rethinking her reaction to her apology and that she would forgive Twilight for her mistake in her kingdom.
As she cried Spike knocked on her door. Twilight told that he could come in. Spike opened the door and nervously scraped the floor with his foot nervously as he stared at he floor.
"Twilight? Queen Novo is here to see you I think she's here because of what happened a few days ago during your meeting with her. You should probably go and talk to her something productive might come out of it." Spike said as he hesitated a bit. Twilight turned around and spoke.
"Tell her I'll be right there I need some time to myself. She can wait there until I come down. It won't be long for me to go see her." Twilight said. Spike nodded and went back this see Queen Novo. Twilight began to get nervous as she wondered what would happen between her and the Queen.
Bad scenarios went through her mind as she wondered if Queen Novo had come to announce that she was suing her and a good scenerio went through her mind where Queen Novo would apologize to her for her behavior the day of the meeting and forgive her for her mistake.
Twilight took a few minutes to calm her breathing as she was hyperventilating. She had to calm herself or she would look like a nervous wreck as she tried to talk to Queen Novo. She hoped that this was going to fix what happened the other two times that they had met.
Twilight finally got enough courage to go down the stairs to the hallway and as she got downstairs she saw Queen Novo. When she reached Queen Novo Queen Novo spoke.
"Hello Twilight. May I speak with you in private?" Queen Novo asked. Twilight nodded and they went to the map room . Numerous thoughts continued to rush through Twilight's head, she wondered if Queen Novo was just her so she can criticize her more. Once they got to the map room Twilight and Queen Novo went inside and Twilight shut the door.
"Twilight I came here to apologize for my behavior during our meeting. You were trying to make up with me but I was stubborn and refused my hoof in friendship over a mistake that you had to make in order to save Equestria. I forgive you for trying to steal the Pearl. Even if you had tried to steal the Pearl from me weeks ago I still should have made friends with you at the summit as you were being very reasonable but I didn't want to listen. I shouldn't have acted the way I acted at the summit as it was very immature for me to act the way I acted towards you. You extended your hoof in friendship but I slapped it away. I want to change that today as I want continued dialogue between us." Queen Novo said.
"Your forgiven. Thanks for forgiving me to. I'm glad you are finally committed to a relationship between us. Let us make sure that we continue this friendship throughout the future and have many more meetings between us both. Maybe you can also invite me to your kingdom again so we can talk more." Twilight said. Queen Novo smiled.
"Great. Don't worry I am very committed to a continued friendship with you. I would certainly like to invite you to my kingdom for more meetings between us. I'm glad that we straightened out the problem that had happened at the last meeting. Make sure that you tell Celestia and your friends about this development." Queen Novo said.
"I will. Goodbye Queen Novo. I hope to see you again soon." Twilight said.
"Goodbye Princess Twilight. You will see me again." Queen Novo said. Queen Novo left and Twilight went back downstairs and told Spike about the good news about her and Queen Novo. Spike told Twilight that he was happy about this.
"That's great Twilight." I'm very happy for you. I'm glad that it worked out." Spike said.
After she told Spike she wrote a letter to all of the princesses about the successful meeting and they all wrote back saying how happy that thy all were. Once she told them she told her friends about the recent meeting and they expressed their happiness over the successful meeting.
Once she told her friends she went to find Fizzlepop Berrytwist and once she found Fizzlepop Berrytwist she told Fizzlepop Berrytwist about the success of the meeting as she wondered what Fizzlepop Berrytwist would say.
"A new meeting between me and Queen Novo went very well. It was a lot better than the first one. I apologized for my actions during your takeover She apologized for her actions during your takeover and during the meeting and we both started a friendship.
"That's great Twilight! I was afraid that she would be mad at you forever but I'm glad that she wasn't as it wouldn't have been fair if she had hated you forever. Hate isn't good. I'm glad that everything worked out in the end." Fizzlepop Berrytwist said.
"Thanks! I was afraid that she wouldn't for me as well but I'm glad that she finally came around and forged a friendship with me." Twilight said. Twilight and Queen Novo continued to be friends for a long time.
