Chapters Grinding down the railing on some stairs, Rumble flew through the Canterlot mall. He frequented the place all the time. He'd often stop by after school on his way to the skate park on the edge of town, grabbing a bite to eat and maybe picking up a thing or two on the side. It wasn't very busy (Tuesday afternoons rarely were). He only ever saw one or two people at a time, and even then, they were few and far between. But that was all the better as it meant he had all the more room to practice his tricks.
However, this trip through was different then usual. He almost missed it. But out of the corner of his eye, Rumble caught sight of an odd store he'd never seen before. Skidding to a stop, he backtracked a few feet to take a look. Above a relatively unassuming doorway rested an obnoxious sign which read "Pleasure Paradise" in large, golden, neon letters.
It wasn't hard to figure out what the store was about. It was obviously a sex shop. Though how they managed to set up the store in only the 24 hours since he'd last been to the mall, he couldn't guess. All he knew was that they were invading his terf and he was kind of pissed about it.
He took a quick glance around. There was no one in view save for a couple of strangers at the end of the hall, no one Rumble cared about. And even they didn't seem to notice.
Rumble was hesitant. If he got anything from that store at all, it would only be for Scootaloo to enjoy . . . or at the very least, something they could both enjoy together. It would be selfish to splurge only on himself. What would she think if he did? Maybe . . . he could get something . . . but should he? They'd gone at it before, but they only ever had each other. Plus condoms. Bought off Amazon. Lots and lots of condoms.
Rumble scratched his head in thought.

The two had quite a history. Ever since his early Freshman year, Rumble had seen Scootaloo around Canterlot off and on. Yet, despite him being a senior now, he had never really talked to her until about 2 years prior. When Thunderlane got him a Skateboard for Christmas (best bro ever), he was ecstatic, and it wasn't long before he started frequenting the skate-park to see what he could do.
A few months later, he was surprised to meet Scootaloo there . . . with her Scooter no less. At first, he thought those handle bars would get in the way, but he was quickly proven wrong when she did a triple back-flip off a ramp, while spinning her scooter under her feet the whole time, before landing gracefully and sliding backwards to a stop.
From then on, the two had a playfully competitive relationship. Constantly trying to one up each other. That was, of course, until three months ago . . . when Rumble sprained his ankle during PE. Scootaloo was disappointed to hear he couldn't come to the park that day. But they made up for it, agreeing to have a movie night.
Yet, what started out as simply watching a thriller, quickly spiraled into so much more. It wasn't long before they were sprawled out on rumble's mattress, sweaty and moaning, having the night of their lives and pushing themselves to the limit in a completely new way.

Rumble shook his head. Now wasn't the time for fantasies. He had to make up his mind. Should he get her something or not?
He decided to bite the bullet. It couldn't hurt to just take a look around could it? Walking on foot, he carried his skateboard with him for fear that someone might recognize it. As turned around, propping up the board just inside the door, a baritone voice boomed behind him.
"Hellooooo Rumble! What may I have the pleasure to get you today?"
Rumble whipped around quicker than lightning, only to be greeted by the strangest sight. The man he saw was clearly elderly, with a wild mane of white hair, sticking up at odd angles . . . plus a scruffy goatee to match. Yet, he moved with the springy agility of a 10 year old. Over his slate gray skin, he wore an oversized brown wastecoat decorated with purple polkadots. Beneath that, he wore mismatched plaid knee socks: one yellow and one green. Over those socks were oversized, bright red cowboy boots.
Overall, the entire getup looked ridiculous.
"Okay," rumble snapped, taken aback "who are you first of all? And second, how the hell do you know my name?"
"Oh wow! Rude!" he scoffed, crossing his arms. "I just assumed you had a reason to stroll into a humble shop such as this. My mistake." Waving a thick, yellow, gloved hand in the air, he continued "But if you must know the answer, I heard about you through the grape vine." He pointed in an enormous gesture, with both yellow gloved hands at the back of the store. Rumble followed the movement, looking down the isles, past the rows of Dildos, fleshlights, condoms, vibrators, and goddess knows what else, where stood a large potted plant. Full of vines. Covered in ripe, tasty looking grapes.
Was that there when he walked in? He wasn't sure. Maybe he just overlooked it?
"But please, back to my original question? What can I get for you?"
Rumble wasn't sure about this guy . . . or this entire store for that matter. So he simply replied "Don't know. Just thought I'd look around. See what you have."
"Oh? Is that so? Would you happen to be looking for your own fun . . . or do you have someone else in mind?"
This was getting personal. Now he really didn't think he should trust this guy. But what choice did he have? It would be silly to just walk out now without anything to show for it. The least he could do was what the options were. "I have a girlfriend, yes. What's it to you?"
"Are you only buying for her? Or maybe something for the both of you?" he inquired with a smirk and a sly wink as he leaned over the counter, resting his whiskered chin on his gloved hand.
"uuuuuuuummm . . . both?"
"Well in that case," He jumped up, spinning around, bending over, and grabbing something off the floor behind him. "I may have just what you need." From behind the counter, he produced a black metal case, secured closed with a simple latch. It was mostly unmarked, save for the words 'Fantasy Suit' which were boldly written in large white letters across it's face.
Rumble took the box in shaky fingers. Flipping it over, he found more writing on the back:

Aaaaaand now rumble was scared, deep in his bones. This guy was selling some really shady stuff. He knew he should just leave, but he couldn't help but feel just a little bit of morbid curiosity creep into his psyche. "How much is it?" he asked, figuring that if it was more than 5 bucks or so, he'd just make like a tree and leave.
"Oh, your money's no good to meeeee. Just take it, whatever you want here is yours.
Rumble gave a skeptical eye-squint. But he just shrugged. "K sure" he mumbled under his breath. He dropped his backpack to the floor, stuffing the mysterious box down right next to his algebra textbook. He just needed to get out of there.
Peeking out the door, he took a cautious look around. It looked like the coast was clear. No one around.
So he kick-flipped his board under his feet and took off.
The old man waited, and watched. He watched and he waited. He waited. And waited. And watched. And watched. All the while, Rumble gradually glided down the hall.
Eventually, he turned a corner, and disappeared from sight.
Discord, he grinned. He grinned a wide, toothy grin, bearing his fangs. With a smug smirk, he snapped his yellow, gloved fingers and the store disappeared, leaving only an empty wall where it had been.
Rolling through the streets of Canterlot, Rumble realized he'd have to steer clear of the skate-park for the time being. He just couldn't bring himself to play it cool on the rails after what he'd just gone through . . . especially knowing that, whatever it is was still right there in his backpack. Nope. No way. Not gonna happen.
So instead, he decided to send her a text as he crossed an intersection.
Rumble:
He paused. What excuse could he come up with for breaking their usual routine?
And so, he thought, and he pondered and he thought some more. And he kept thinking. This went on for quite some time before he zipped past the school. That's when an idea struck him.
I had a really bad day at school.
Diamond bitch and the gang were giving me a hard time and I sprained my ankle again.
You up for a movie night instead? Maybe around 7-ish?
They'd gone through this whole fiasco before. He'd half ass some excuse for her to come over to his place, but he knew that she knew exactly what he really meant.
But he wasn't sure about this one. There had to be a better excuse he could come up with. He hovered his thumb over the send button and with some uncertainty, he pressed it.
It was only a minute later when he got a reply back.

Hope your leg gets better.

That would have to do it then. Given that it was about 4:30, he should have a few hours to figure out what he'd just signed up for.

Propping his board by his door, Rumble strolled into his little apartment, shrugged off his backpack and flopped down on the couch. It wasn't much of a place, only about 250 square feet in total. It had a cramped bedroom and bathroom with just enough space to serve their functions, as well as a combined kitchen and living space which offered a little more elbow room.
It wasn't much, but it was home.
Rumble had moved out on his own as soon as he'd turned 18. He just couldn't wait. But with only a part time job on the weekends working the movie theater concession stand, he still had to rely on mom and dad to pay the rent.
Yet, that wasn't what was on Rumble's mind at the moment. Right then, all he cared about was finding out what the hell was in that box.
Rumble didn't feel like getting up, so instead, bent over the armrest and hoisted his whole backpack onto his lap. Pulling out the metal case, he dropped the bag at his feet.
"Okay," he thought "what the hell is this thing?"
With uncertain, trembling fingers, he undid the latch. What he saw inside surprised him. There was an odd glowing purple gemstone. He wasn't sure what to make of that. But next to it was something made of rubber. It certainly seemed like a suit of some sort, but It was wadded up, not folded neatly. Setting down the case on the sofa next to him, still containing the mysterious gem, Rumble pulled out the suit and held it in front of him with both arms, as one would do to examine a T-shirt.
The sight which greeted him was surprising. it was definitely a black, fetishy, latex suit, but not at all like he expected. it consisted of three separate pieces, loosely secured together with zippers.
The first segment was a long sleeved latex shirt with gloves at the end (no surprise there). Yet, what struck Rumble as odd were the large, ovular protrusions jutting off from the back of it. Yet, it was the other segments that were more disconcerting.
The pants were oddly shaped. They appeared to be designed with a stiff, forced bend where the knees would go. At the top, starting from the back of the belt, long rubber streamers fell down to the floor, resembling a tail. And further down, a solid piece continued at a 20 degree angle, well beyond the ankles, only to end in a blunt stump. Rumble lifted up a leg to inspect it. It appeared to be in the shape of a horseshoe.
However, it was the mask which was the most telling. It lacked any eye-holes, consisting of only solid latex where the eyes should be. In addition, the portion for the face jutted out incredibly far, forming the shape of a muzzle, with only narrow, vertical slits for breathing. stiff, triangular shaped rubber ears protruded from the top of the head. More rubber streamers cascaded off of the back, matching the 'tail' and clustered in a straight line down the middle, simulating a mane.
Taken altogether, the image was clear. The entire ensemble was meant to look like an anthropomorphic Pegasus . . . or at least, a hyper-perverted representation of one.
Just one more thing Rumble needed to check. Unzipping the shirt from the pants only the slightest amount, he took a peek inside.
Yup, that's about what he expected. On the crotch area rested two dildos attached to the latex; a ludicrously huge one in front and an ever-so-slightly smaller one just behind it. However they had an odd shape about them. Their heads were flat, with a thick ring around their rim. Then, further down, about halfway (though closer to the base), the dildos had ringular protrusions jutting off of them.
Were those? . . . no they couldn't be. Horse dildos? He wasn't sure. He'd never had a reason to google what horse cocks looked like. But it would fit with the theme.
Rumble was perturbed. He knew that there was another world full of magical talking horses, strange as that idea still seemed to him. After all the magical madness that had happened over the past few years, from demon Sunset, to the Dazzlings, to a giant portal to pony land itself opening up the school parking lot . . . it was kind of hard to miss. But to think that someone would make a sex toy out of that? That was going too far.
Rumble slumped over and dropped his head into his hands. He couldn't show this to Scootaloo. She'd think he'd lost it. He briefly considered just throwing it out. It was free after all, so no loss really.
But then Scootaloo would show up at his door, wondering what was up, and he'd have no answer for her. He'd already lied about having a sprained ankle over text. Sure, he could keep playing off that lie, say it wasn't a terrible sprain and felt better now, but then he'd have to keep lying. To her face.
He didn't know if he could do that.
But then, he caught a glimpse of the mysterious gemstone out of the corner of his eye and remembered it existed. It was pulsating with a soft purple glow, all the while emitting a low rumbling, barely audible hum. What the hell was up with that thing anyway.
Rumble tried to pick it up with the intent to examine it. Yet, the moment it touched his skin, the gemstone disintegrated into a wispy cloud of purple smoke, punctuated with neon green streaks of electricity.
"What the . . ." he barely had time to think as the smoke floated towards him by it's own accord. It swirled around his head, forcing it's way down his throat, filling his lungs in a matter of seconds.
Rumble felt queasy. His eyes rolled back in his head. His whole body went limp. And he fell backwards onto the couch.

Rumble's eyes fluttered open slowly. He was groggy, and weak. His body felt heavy.
Not to mention he had a splitting headache.
Oh goddess! He wondered if this is what a hangover felt like. Sitting up slowly, he coughed and hacked. What time was it? How long had he been out? He didn't know.
He checked his phone. 6:37. Shit! She'd show up any minute and he wasn't ready.
No, wait. something struck him as odd. He could panic later. Something caught his attention. Something way more important. Everything looked, and felt . . . different somehow. His gaze wandered the room. The colors looked brighter and more vivid. He could make out textures in sharper detail. His hearing was more sensitive too. He noticed sounds. Sounds he'd never noticed before, such as the faint hum of his laptop motor . . . currently on sleep mode . . . in his bedroom . . . behind a closed door. Or the gush of water running through the pipes in his walls.
And his sense of smell too. How had he never noticed how his apartment smelled before? Oh, it smelled horrible. It smelled like farts. Was he really that used to it? Oh no, did Scootaloo ever notice it? He sure hoped not. She hadn't said anything. Or was she just trying to be polite?
"No brain! Shut up!" rumble mentally snapped as he tried to figure out what the hell had changed.
Something else stuck out to him. Something foreign. What he felt was difficult to describe. Somehow . . . and he didn't fully understand it himself, he could feel the latex suit. Every detail. Every minute contour of it . . . he could tell where they were. He knew it's position. Where it was. What it was doing. He even noticed things he had overlooked earlier.
Rumble couldn't have explained how he knew all these details. He just knew!. Even with his eyes closed, he could see it in his mind.
And another thing. He felt a kind of tug. A pull. A knowing that he had a power over the suit he could scarcely understand.
Without thinking, as if by instinct, he tested this new ability.
First, he willed the vibrators to turn on . . . and they did. They started slow. But Rumble willed them to go faster. And faster. And faster. And then they stopped, just as he planned.
Next, he attempted to determine if he could alter anything about it's physical appearance. He started with the color as that seemed simpler than changing it's shape. He turned it red, then green, then white, purple, blue . . . and back to black.
Okay. Good. That worked. Now for the big guns.
He kept the suit looking mostly the same, only changing it's shape in small but key ways. He opened up eye-holes so Scootaloo wouldn’t be blind. He flattened out the 'muzzle'. Gone too were the the 'ears' and 'mane' along with 'wings' and 'tail'. In addition, the ‘hooves’ morphed into a sexy pair of stiletto heels.
Perfect. Almost done.
For one last, finishing touch, he changed the shape of the dildos. Gone were the horse cocks (or so he assumed that's what they were), replaced with something much more normal. More human.
Damn, that headache was coming back with a vengeance. Rumble could feel the suit was trying to remain in it's true form. Shifting it away from that took effort. However, given how small the change was, it didn't take much more than a mental bookmark in the back of his mind to keep it going.
But that didn't change the fact the suit was still kinky as hell! At least Scootaloo wouldn't hate him for having it now.
Having broken his attention from his little project, Rumble caught sight of the clock on his microwave. It was 6:50. Damn. Only 10 minutes. Now he was really was panicking. He snatched up the suit, carelessly shoving it back in it's case, and hid it under the couch.
"Is that too obvious? Would Scoots be able to see that? No, Rumble! You have other things to worry about!"
"Okay, so what needs cleaning? The trash needs to be taken out. Furniture's dusty. Floor needs swept. Bed needs to be made," he looked at the bathroom sink. "Ew, gross! Goddess, why am I such a slob?" Rumble practically flew through the tiny apartment in a mad scramble to make the place look moderately presentable; cutting corners wherever he could.
And he'd just about finished when the door rang. Suddenly, Rumble realized the one thing he'd forgotten to clean up. Himself.
He looked in the mirror. He had ketchup stains on his shirt. So he ripped it off, kicked it under his dresser, as he quickly threw on a new one. Back to the mirror. Shit, now his hair was a mess. He was busy smoothing it out with his hands when he heard the doorbell ring again. "Coming" Rumble bellowed.
He was at the door in a flash, ripping it open. Tired and panting, he leaned on it's frame for support.
"Hey" he slurred, trying to play it cool. "How's it goin?"
He was sure he actually looked like a maniac.
The sound of hard plastic wheels grinding against asphalt echoed over the pavement as Scootaloo grew closer to her destination. After that text from earlier, all she could do to pass the time was practice her skills on the rails . . . all by herself.
It wasn't that she minded much. She understood how much a sore foot could screw them over in their chosen hobby. She'd had similar incidents herself in the past. And it must have been twice as hard without the handlebars. Still though, it wasn't as fun with no one else there. But at least she'd figured out some ways to completely wreck the old goof next time around.
At about 6:30, she turned off the rails and onto the street. Rumble lived on the other side of town, so it was quite a trek to get there. On the way, she passed the mall. And further still, the school. Along the way, Scootaloo reveled the feel of the warm breeze of May whipping through here hair. The birds were chirping. The flowers were blooming. And the crickets started to chirp as the day came to a close and the world went to sleep.
The sun was just beginning to set as she whisked past the many trees and gardens of Rumble's apartment complex. Row after row of identical, one story residences disappeared behind her in a blur. Then, finally, Scootaloo ground to a halt just outside of Rumble's door.
Locking her scooter's wheels, she propped it against the little fence which separated the patios. She took a deep breath, and rang the doorbell.
She waited. And waited. And waited. She tried to listen through the door, seeing if she could figure out what was going on.
Nothing. She heard nothing.
So she waited some more. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited.
An instant later, the door flew open violently in front of her. in a mildly shocking display, she found a somewhat disheveled looking Rumble slouched against the door frame in front of her, panting heavily and clearly out of breath. "Hey, how's it goin?" he said with a cheesy, blatantly forced grin and a wild look in his eye.
Scootaloo, taken aback, could only manage to say "uuhhhhhhhhhhh, good?"
"Great to hear it!" rumble cheered much louder than he should have. Then, perhaps to save face having noticed his error, he continued on in a much quieter yet still shaky tone "So, uh . . . sorry I didn't come to the park today."
"Oh, don't apologize. I get it. Those two get under my skin so much, you don't even wanna know what I'd do to them if I could" she fumed. "But, you know, jail's a thing. Hope your leg's feelin better though."
"Um, yeah. Totally" rumble replied feebly. And Scootaloo could have taken that answer at face value. But she knew how to read between the lines with him. Something wasn't right. She could tell, Rumble was tense. His fingers were fiddling with the bottom of his shirt. He was nibbling on his lower lip. His left eye had a little twitch to it. And the way his eyes darted around all over the place, seeming to look everywhere except directly at her . . . she knew something was up.
"Okay, what's going on?" she asked bluntly
"What?! What do you mean?" he deflected, defensively
Scootaloo rolled her eyes. "I know you Rumble. And I've seen that look before. You're hiding something. What is it?" She wasn't about to let him beat around the bush.
"Me? Hide anything from you? Never!" Rumble exclaimed, placing a hand over his heart and making a big show of trying to appear innocent.
Scootaloo wasn't buying it. This time, standing stone still and giving him a cold glare, she demanded again "What. is it. Rumble?"
That did it. Rumble stopped pretending. His shoulders slumped forward as he let out a heavy sigh. Turning, he walked in with small, uncertain steps, his head bowed low to the ground. "Come in" he feebly remarked. "I'll show you."

Rumble couldn't believe she'd seen through him like that. There was no prelude to it. No warning. It just hit him out of nowhere, as though a piano had just dropped from the sky and knocked him on his head. He was hoping he could just outright ignore the suit's existence for rest of the night, or at least wait to bring it up until later. But now, he had to at least let her know about it. There was no avoiding that now.
But what would happen afterward? That was anyone's guess.
Hesitantly, he stopped by the couch and glanced back and Scootaloo. Her arms were crossed. Her lips were twisted into a slight scowl. With trembling hands, he bent down and grabbed the metal case, in a death grip.
He looked back again, Scootaloo raised an eyebrow. Waiting.
No. He couldn't do it. What the hell could he even say to explain this whole situation?
So instead, he handed the whole case to Scootaloo, practically throwing it at her. "Here," he whimpered deflectively "Open this!"
Scootaloo gave a skeptical squint. Then shrugged her shoulders, cautiously strolling closer. As she took the metal box for herself, she read "Fantasy Suit" clearly emblazoned on it's face. She shot Rumble a questioning look.
Rumble was slowly backing away; an instinctive impulse, deep in his chest, to escape the situation. Yet, there was nowhere to run and no one to fight . . . no one except Scootaloo at least. But he could never hurt her. Could he?
Thankfully, however, he at least had enough foresight to mentally check the suit, to make sure it stayed in it's "slightly less freaky but not really" state.
With bated breath, he watched in dread as, in one swift movement, Scootaloo flipped the lid open, yanked out the suit by one of the heels, and discarded the box to the side, throwing it on the floor. The thump of metal against hardwood reverberated throughout the tiny apartment.
Scootaloo stared in puzzled bewilderment as she took in the sight before her. She looked at the upside down, latex suit. Then to Rumble. Then to the suit. Then back to Rumble.
And then it clicked.
She dropped the suit to the floor, appalled. "What the Hell?!" she accused. "Why do you even have this thing?"
"Okay, I know it looks bad, but I can explain"
"Oh, you'd better have a damn good explanation buster! I'd sure like to hear it. Did it magically fall from the sky with rainbow glitter and unikittens prancing around it?"
"Ummmmm . . . No?! Just calm down and I promise it will all make sense."
"Oh, you want me to calm down?! I'll show you calm!" Scootaloo snatched the suit off the floor and started stomping toward the front door.
Rumble knew where this was going. She was going to show it off to the world, just to embarrass him. He could picture it vividly. She'd storm out that door and hold the suit up high above her head and scream at the top of her lungs "Look everyone! Look at the marvelous gift my so called boyfriend got for me. Isn't it Fantastic! Oh, I love it so, so much. NOT!!! As if! How the hell did I ever end up with a looser boyfriend like him?" And then she'd laugh in his face.
He couldn't allow that.
So instead, he straight up lunged at her, tackled her. He pinned her to the floor.
"What the hell? Get off of me!" She screamed
"Not until you just calm down so we can talk about this"
"I AM CALM!!! "
"No, you're not. Just breathe Scoot. Breathe."
"Get off!"
"Breathe"
Scootaloo was writing and squirming on the hardwood floor. He knew, if he let her, she would have just stormed out of his apartment then and there. And never come back.
But she couldn't. Rumble was too heavy. So instead, she followed his advice. She took one shaky breath. Then another. Then another. Until eventually, after a few minutes, her internal inferno had cooled to just a few smoldering embers. She was still pissed at him, but at least now she was willing to entertain the possibility that Rumble might have a good reason to have such a thing.
Oh boy. Rumble sure was glad it didn't look like a freaky pony fursuit thingy or he'd really have been in for it. Slowly, he pushed himself off the ground and stood up, letting Scootaloo go free.
"Okay" she grilled him, doing a circle gesture with her hand. "Pleeeease explain to why you have this thing."
"Well, I was at the mall"
"Yes"
"And I went to this store"
"A store?"
"Yeah, a sex shop. It was right between the Macy's and the Hot Topic"
"Bull shit! I've been to that mall countless times and I've never seen a freaking sex shop!"
"Well, it kind of appeared out of nowhere! And there was this sort of creepy guy there, a real Willy Wonka type, and he said I could have it for free."
"For free?" she asked skeptically
"Yeah, I know right?! He said my money was no good to him or something? I don't really get it. But I just kind of panicked and went along with it."
"And you took the thing anyway?"
"Yeah, but I didn't look to see what it was till I got home"
"You didn't even Look? Rumble, that's the first rule of buying anything at any store ever! Always check before you buy."
"But it was free! Does it really even matter what it was?
"YES!!! Rumble winced as she screeched like a banshee directly in his face. "Besides," Scootaloo continued "Why would you trust a mysterious 'whatever' from a store that appears out of nowhere that you get from a guy you yourself just described as 'creepy' anyway? Huh?"
Rumble was speechless. He honestly didn't know how to respond to that. So instead, he simply said "Um, I guess I didn't think it through?"
"Obviously!"
There was a long, awkward pause. As the seconds ticked by, the room went dead quiet, to the point you could hear an ant scuttling along the wall if you listened closely.
Eventually, Rumble continued "Buuuuuuuuuut . . ."
"Oh goddess, where are you going with this?"
"I've been looking at that suit. And it seems pretty harmless"
"Rumble, you're not thinking what I think you're thinking"
"And let's be real, we've gone at it a few times already"
"You are"
